Chapter 17
~Friday, July 26*18 Weeks*~
She felt light feathered kisses being spread all across her face. Keeping her eyes closed to savor the feeling in her husband familiar kisses. A smile slowly started to spread across her face as the kisses started making their way from the back of her ear, down her jaw, and slowly making their way down her neck.
Eddie couldn't help but to pant soft kisses all over Loren's face to wake her up. He wanted to wake her up so they could spend the day together. Eddie had just hung up the phone with Jake and couldn't wait to share his news with Loren. Due to problems to the stage and the lights up above the stage being loose they decided to cancel the concert in order for no one to get while they fixed the problem. However, tomorrows scheduled concert was still on. But this meant he was able to spend one more day with Loren, which he intended on doing right away. Eddie could feel Loren starting to wake underneath him, settling his lips on her, Loren started to return the kiss.
Loren:(sleepy voice) Mmmm... Good (Kiss) Morning (Kiss) Mr. (Kiss) Duran.
Eddie: (Kiss) Good (Kiss) Morning (Kiss) Mrs. (Kiss) Duran.
Finally settling his lips on her for a lingering kiss. Once Eddie pulled back, he put both his hands on both sides of her head, holding himself up in order not to crush her and the baby. Loren opened her eyes to find Eddie staring down at her. Brown meets hazel. She couldn't help but to put a small smile and narrow her eyes in suspicion when she saw the big goofy grin on Eddie's face. She wondered what he was up to.
Loren: What has you in such a good mood Mr. Duran?
Eddie: I have some news that you might like Mrs. Duran?
Loren: And what would that be? Wait don't you have a flight you need to catch.
Eddie: Actually that is what I have to tell you. There are some technical difficulties that need to be taken care of and it will take all day.
Loren:(smiling) Your concerts canceled?
Eddie: Yes! So me and you have an extra day to be together!
Loren: The whole day? No interruptions? Just me and you?
Eddie's face broke into a wide smile as he nodded his head. Loren grabbed him by the back of his head and brought him in for a kiss. She could feel Eddie smile against her lips.
Eddie:(smiling) What do you want to do all day? We could stay home and relax, just the two of us. Or we could go out and do something. What do you want? Today is your day. We can do whatever you want.
Loren:(smiling) Well I don't what I want to do all day. BUT I do know what I do know what I want to do right now.
Loren's loving, sweet smile turned into sexy seductive smile. As soon as Eddie saw her smile change he knew what was coming and couldn't help but to return the same smile.
Eddie:(seductively smiling) And what would that be?
Loren:(seductively smiling) A hot steamy shower with a certain sexy rockstar husband of mine.
Eddie:(seductively smiling) A hot steamy shower with your sexy rockstar husband?
Loren bit her bottom lip and slowly nodded her head.
Eddie: Hmmm...I think that can be arranged.
After a hot steamy shower Eddie suggested they got out for breakfast instead of Loren cooking. Loren dressed in black jeans, a white loose-fitting silk camisole, with a cream-colored leather jacket and a pair of black booties. Eddie dressed in gray jeans with a black tucked-in button up and a pair of black Vans. Loren and Eddie agreed to keep things simple today. Just a normal day, as a normal couple, well as normal as they could be. Walking hand in hand to a little café that was about less than two blocks away the Penthouse. They sat at a small table towards the back. After ordering their food they talked about random things before Eddie brought something up that has been on his mind lately.
Eddie: So I was thinking maybe we should hire security.
Loren:(confused) What? Why?
Eddie: Well, the more your pregnancy progresses the more people want a picture of you, which mean more paps. If one of those photo hungry people were to get to close to you and you were to get hurt, it would kill me.
Loren thought about what Eddie was saying. He was right. The more her bump grew, the more people wanted a picture of her. Everybody was on 'Baby Duran Watch'. But the thought of somebody following her everywhere and being by her side 24/7 didn't sit right with her.
Eddie: I'm not saying we are going to hire somebody right away. I know you don't feel comfortable with the idea of somebody following you and being by your side twenty-four seven.
Loren: You are right about that. But I know where you are coming from. You worry about my safety. Especially..
Before Loren could continue they were interrupted by the waiter bring their food. After the waiter walked away they began to eat in silence. It wasn't so much an uncomfortable silence but it wasn't all to comfortable either.
Loren:(looking up at Eddie) I am not saying no but I am not yes neither. Lets put a pin on it and discuss it some other time. Today lets just focus on us. Me and You.
Eddie:(smiling) Your right let's put a pin on the idea. Just me and you today.
Loren: Oh Eddie, look! Lets go in there!
Eddie smiled as his wife pulled by the hand towards a boutique. After breakfast they went for walk passing different shops and boutiques. Stopping every once in a while to shop or look around.
Loren: Eddie! This is absolutely adorable!
Eddie shook his head at his wife as she held up a striped pink and black dress that had a bow on the front.
Eddie:(smiling) As adorable as that dress is, you do remember we are having a boy.
Loren:(pouting) I know and I couldn't be any more happier but girl clothes is much cuter than the boys.
Eddie: True, but imagine our little boy in some thing this.
Eddie help up a tuxedo suit striped bow tie romper bodysuit.
Loren:(smiling) Oh Eddie! That is so cute! Our baby boy would look so handsome!
Eddie: See, Lo boy clothes isn't all bad.
Loren: Yeah, I guess your right.
Eddie and Loren spent about another hour or so looking at baby clothes and items. Purchasing a couple of items, they had them sent to the Penthouse so they could continue their walk. Eddie looked over at Loren and couldn't help but admire the way pregnancy was changing her.
Eddie: What is going on in that head of yours?
Loren: Hmm.. oh nothing. Just thinking about how so far today has been.
Eddie: It has been, hasn't it? I wish we could have more days like this.
Loren: Me too. Although there is one thing that you could do to make this day even better.
Eddie:(smiling) And what would that be?
Loren: You finally telling me the name you have chosen for our son.
Loren said whispering the last part so that the people around them couldn't hear the sex of the baby. She noticed how Eddie's steps faltered. Stopping and taking her other hand in his so that they were facing each other.
Eddie:(took a deep breath) Loren lets wait until we get home.
Loren: Why?
Eddie: We are in a public place and anybody could hear us and then the world would know what we hare having. Plus this day has been perfect so far and I don't want to ruin it.
Loren: Ok I get it. But how could you telling me our child's name ruin the day? If anything it would make this day even better!
Eddie: Please babe not right now. Lets wait until we get home to discuss this.
Loren stared at Eddie before slowly nodding her head
Loren:(sighing) Ok, fine.
Putting his hands around her waist and pulled her close, giving her a kiss on top of her head. Loren looked up at him giving him a small smile and gently kissing him on the lips.
Well was it worth the wait? Hopefully it was. Can't promise when the next chapter will be. What should be baby boy Duran's name? Any suggestions?
