RECAP:
"Wait, who are the kids with Haruhi in this photo?" Hikaru points at a picture of Haruhi, and little girl with a fuchsia silky frilly dress and ribbons in her hair, and the other in khaki shorts, a cameo t-shirt and a baseball cap.
"Oh, that would be Akira-chan and Natsumi-chan! You three were simply the most adorable creatures!" Mr. Fujioka gushed.
"Oh, let me guess. The one in the pink dress and Natsumi and the other little tomboy was Akira, right?" Kaoru said, Akira just snorted in response.
"Well... actually... This is me, and this is Akira." I point first at the tomboy, then at the girl in the dress. The boys all go silent, and the only thing you could hear was Akira eating. Tamaki-senpai crawls out of his emo corner long enough to say,
"B-but you're so, so... and Akira is so... what?!" I blink in confusion.
"Is there really that big of a difference between the me in the photo and the current me?" The boys all sweat drop.
"Hehe, and to think Akira had her hair tied with pink ribbons and has a dark pink dress on." The twins comment.
"IT'S F***ING FUSCHIA!" Akira yells blushing red in shame, I laugh. Then everyone starts laughing as well, except for Tamaki-senpai and his mushroom friends.
Akira's POV
Well that was absolutely embarrassing. I'm sure glad that's over.
"Hello class," The teacher walks in and the class scrambles to their seats. I'm picking at a button on my blazer, slouching in my seat. Natsumi is looking at me worriedly and the teacher is glaring at me.
"What?" I ask, glancing up at the teacher.
"Nothing," The teacher cleared their throat.
"Anyways class, I have wonderful news, we have finals next week!" They announce. I look to my side and I see Natsumi still looking outside the window daydreaming. It's a miracle how I got her into this class. After class I catch up to Natsumi and walk with her to the cafeteria.
"So… any plans on studying?" I ask sitting down with her taking out my sandwich (Yes, I do know you can buy our lunches here).
"Well...I was thinking you could help me," She sheepishly rubs the back of her neck. I slow down my chewing.
"Sure, this weekend by the park?" I offer. She nods.
THIS WEEKEND...
Natsumi's POV
Mm...So nice and comfy in my sweet sweet bed~ Ah~...Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something? Oh well, it's probably not important. I fell asleep for just a few more minutes...I woke up to see that I slept for 3 hours. *yawn* Oh well, not like today's important or anything. I stretch like a cat.
"Did you enjoy your nap?" A voice whispered to me while I was in mid stretch. I froze and turned around to see a very angry looking Akira.
"O-Oh hi Akira! What are you doing here?" I sweatdrop at the thought that she climbed through my window again.
"Did you forget about today?" She asks me slowly.
"Eh? Today?" I cock my head to the side looking at her. A dark aura floats up behind her….
"Oh! We were supposed to meet up at the park to study for finals at the park at..." I look at my clock to see that it's 11am...4 hours late...
"That's right Natsumi, I'm feeling a bit forgiving today so I'll give you a count of three," She utters.
"1.." I squeal and charge out of bed.
"2..." I'm working at the doorknob frantically trying to open it.
"3!"
"AAAAAAH!" I scream in fright as I ripped open my door and dashed out. She chased me around the house.
*Cue dramatic chase music*
"When I catch you, you're dead, I'm going to make you study so hard you'll be begging to be in hell," She threatens and glares at me. My eyes widen and run for my life, literally. Good thing I'm good at sports and surprisingly I don't trip as much when doing sports and PE.
"I'm sorry Akira!" I yell with anime tears streaming out of my eyes as I run away from her wrath.
"I waited for 4 hours! FOUR! You butt! I thought you wanted to pass!" She scolds. I run back up to my bedroom as fast as I can and lock the door with everything I have. I create a fortress pushing everything I can to block my windows. There are furious knocks on the door.
"You can't stay in there forever Natsumi! I know you're in there, I can hear you breathing," Her muffled voice came through. That last comment was a bit creep-
"It was meant to be creepy," She said suddenly...I must have told my thoughts out loud again. After 10 minutes of silence I thought she was gone...*BAM*
"EEEEEEEEEE!" I squeal and jumped behind my bed. I peek out to see that Akira is brushing herself off and my door broken.
"...Did you just force yourself through?" I ask her.
"What does it look like dumbass? Anyways get dressed, might as well take the rest of the time to study," And with that she left the room.
"...What about my door?"
LATER...
Akira's POV
I realized that trying to kill Natsumi is useless, making her study would be better. But I shove 3 pieces of toast down her throat to feel satisfied. She'll be fine. When we get to the park, I sat down on the bench and took out all of our textbooks and gestured for her to take a seat.
"So which subject do you want to start on?" I ask her.
"Hm...Math!" She chirps. We take out our math textbooks.
"So do you know what the formula for a surface area of a cylinder is?" I question her.
"...Wait..." She thinks for a bit.
"...Wait..." She's stroking her hair.
"...Pretty flower..." *SMACK* I hit the back of her head in irritation.
"Owie~" She clutches her head in pain.
"Focus," I say strictly. She nods and stares at me again.
"...Eh...What was the question again?" FUUUUUUUUUUU- Calm down Akira.
"What is the formula for a surface area of a cylinder?" I grit my teeth. I'm sorry but I have little patience to these things, yes, that includes my best friend as well, I don't tolerate with things that well.
"Um...I don't know," She says after 5 minutes of 'um' and 'uh'.
"Ok then it's 2 times pi times radius squared, plus 2 times pi times radius times height," I say the formula. She looks at me blankly.
"*Sigh* You don't have a clue what radius or pi is don't you?" I rub the bridge of my nose.
"Ehe. He. He...No" She sheepishly laughs at me.
"Alright so pi is the..." I look at Natsumi and she is admiring a butterfly.
"FOCUS!" I clap in front of her face causing her to jump. *Sigh* This is going to be a long time.
AN HOUR OF SLAPPING, YELLING, POINTING, AND STABBING(THE TEXTBOOK) LATER...
I give up. In the last frigging hour, Natsumi's attention got averted like literally 568 times, I had to repeat myself saying the same thing every 5 minutes, and I flipped the picnic table. Yeah, today's a very progressive day. I text someone to come over and help Natsumi instead cause if this continues, I might as well just burn the entire place down. A few minutes later a fancy car pulled up and Kyoya stepped out looking irritated.
"YES! THANK YOU! I'M FREEEEEE!" I jump into the air in happiness and ran away. I remember I forgot my textbooks with Natsumi, so I ran back and gathered all my books into my bag and ran away again. When running, some guy tried to stop me, and I just whacked him aside using my book bag. Yippee! I'm so giddy, it's sickening. I stop by an ice cream stand and got some green tea ice cream. I sat down on a bench slowly licking my ice cream wondering, 'What am I doing with my life'. Oh well, might as well study for finals. I took out my history textbook and started reading it.
"Akira-chan~" Someone calls out to me. I look up irritably to be face to face with Hunny-senpai.
"Oh, it's only you Hunny-senpai," I go back to reading.
"Hey Akira-chan!" He looks up at me cutely.
"Hmm?" I respond absentmindedly.
"Can I have your ice cream?" He asks me.
"Of course, I don't have much of an appetite for it anymore," I give him a small smile.
"Yay!" He eagerly takes it and eats like no tomorrow.
"Hey Akira-chan! What are you reading?" He looks up at me taking a break from devouring the treat.
"I'm just studying for finals," I respond trying to remember the Pearl Harbor Bombing was on December 7, 1941.
"Oh? Are you having any trouble with English? Cause I can help you with that!" Hunny-senpai offers.
"Hm? English? Eh, no thanks, I think I'll be fine with that, I have more issues in history and geography, but I'll pull through somehow," I smile weakly at Hunny-senpai.
"Oh ok then! I think Takashi is really good at those subjects!" Hunny-senpai said after thinking a bit,
"Oh really? Then I guess I'll have to ask him for help later," I go back to read the textbook.
"Hey Akira-chan," He said for the fourth time.
"Yes?" I reply calmly. If this were some other mofo, they would be long gone.
"Why don't you call Takashi 'Takashi' anymore? Instead you say 'Mori-senpai'. Me too, you used to call me Mitsukuni, now you use honorifics," He looks at me with wide eyes.
"Well there are a lot of reasons for that. First of all, your fan girls will surely rampage at me at the fact that I didn't use any honorifics to the seniors in the school. Second, you are older than me so I shouldn't call you by your first names. Third, I only called you guys by your first name when we were younger because I didn't know it was disrespectful until a teacher told me I have to say your names with honorifics and such," I respond easily.
"But we're outside of school! I'm sure Takashi doesn't mind you calling him by his first name, and I miss you calling us by our names!" Hunny-senpai pouts.
"Hah, I guess it's a habit now," I lightly ruffle his head. I go back to studying and Hunny-senpai goes back to licking his ice cream in peace.
WITH NATSUMI AND KYOYA...
Natsumi's POV
"You're hopeless," Kyoya-senpai sighs.
"Ehe..." I sheepishly rub the back of my head.
"I can now tell why Akira gave up trying to tutor you but why did she have to call me," He looks at his phone.
"Because you're really smart! I'm sorry if I daze off but I can't help it! It's just so boring," I complain. I don't want to study anymore.
"But you want to pass don't you?" He looks at me expectantly...I did it again didn't I?
"Why yes, indeed you did," Kyoya-senpai answers with a slight smirk. I pout and put my head down.
"I don't want to study~" I whine slamming my head onto the table.
"I'll give you something if you finish studying," Kyoya-senpai persuades.
"Really?! What is it?!" Anticipation and curiosity beat the boredom of studying.
"You'll have to finish studying to find out," He chuckles at me.
"Is it fun?" I ask cautiously.
"You could say that," He gives me his signature dark lord smirk. I shiver in response.
"...I will take that chance! Now tell me, what's the formula for the circumference of a circle?" I ask him. He almost slams his head onto the table but being the egoist he is, he doesn't do it. Haha, this will be fun...Right?
AN HOUR OF FRUSTRATION AND STUPIDITY LATER...
"Come on Natsumi, you can do this question, it's the last math question alright?" Kyoya-senpai sounds kind of desperate.
"Stop thinking silly things and answer the question already," He replies smoothly, gaining back his cool demeanor. I answer it after thinking about it for 3 minutes, new record!
"Thanks Kyoya-senpai!" I happily cheer. He almost looks like he's going cheer until I bluntly state,
"Now I need help with all the other subjects," He freezes and slightly turns his head towards me.
"Yes, I need help with every other subject, but you helped me finish math in record time! 40 questions in an hour!" I try boosting his ego again to help him. It's kind of weird seeing him like this, normally he's the one that is always expecting the unexpected but seems like I've made him crack… I'm thinking that's a bad thing…Woops.
Kyoya's POV
This girl is seriously something. Even Tamaki isn't capable of making me lose my persona. I wonder if I should "thank" Akira or pile her with work. *Chuckle* This is an interesting turn of events. Oh well, the only reason I'm doing this is because father advised me to do it.
BACK WITH HUNNY AND AKIRA...
Akira's POV
I wonder how Kyoya-senpai is coping with Natsumi, it's been an hour and I'm already finished memorizing the entire history textbook. Hunny-senpai went to go get more ice cream and even cake...7 times. Where does the kid store it?!
"Ugh! I really don't want to read this anymore," I put my geography textbook on my face as I lean back on the bench.
"Who gives a damn about longitude and latitude anyways? I'm not becoming anything that involves this crap," I growl.
"Akira-chan~ Do you want to take a walk with me to take a break?" Hunny-senpai suggests, skipping towards me with his hands full of sweets and such.
"Sure, I need to stop reading about this anyways," I stood up and followed Hunny-senpai into a trail, leaving all my textbooks by the bench, no one would want to steal a textbook anyways.
"Hey Hunny-senpai, where's Mori-senpai anyways? Isn't he usually supposed to be with you?" I question him after realizing the missing presence of the tall one.
"Oh, I don't know either," He replies simply. *Sweatdrop* Wow...He's caring.
"Oh yeah, Akira! How's your dad?" He turns and faces me, staring up at my face.
"My dad? He's fine, but he's really busy," I respond, slightly confused.
"Ohh, because my father was wondering why your dad hasn't been visiting lately," Ah, so that's why he asked.
"I'll tell my dad that he should go visit sometime when he has time, I'm sure once I mention this, he'll drop whatever he's doing and race to your home," I laugh lightly. We walk some more in silence, but at least it isn't awkward. I decided to text my dad about what Hunny-senpai told me.
"Hey Akira-chan," Hunny-senpai stats to say again.
"Yes?" I answer him.
"Do you like Takashi?" He asks me while stopping. I stop along with him.
"Well of course I like him, I like you, Haruhi, the twins, Natsumi, Kyoya-senpai, and even Tamaki-senpai. Although don't tell Tamaki-senpai I said that, or I'll never hear the end of it," I warn Hunny-senpai.
"Well of course I know that, I meant in a more romantic way," Hunny-senpai states.
"Haha, and I thought it was really obvious," I sheepishly grin.
"But I already know that he has this fetish for small things, and as you can see, I'm not exactly small," I gesture to myself. I am much taller then I should be at this age.
"He also likes traditional things, and most likely obedient people, and I'm not exactly the most obedient and polite person," I pull at a strand of highlighted hair.
"So even if things don't work out like 'happily ever after', or something like that, I don't exactly mind," I give Hunny-senpai a small grin.
"I think it will," He chirps happily.
"Haha, thanks for trying to cheer me up but I have to go back to studying now," I ruffle his hair again before walking the other way back to where I left all my books when I see Kyoya-senpai and Natsumi walking together, I watch them for a bit before shrugging and walking along. I'm not the type to take pictures and blackmail...*SNAP* What? Why are you looking at me like that? I didn't take any pictures, you don't know that!
Natsumi's POV
Eh? Was that a flash? Hm, must be my imagination.
"So Kyoya-senpai, where are you taking me?" I question him. He had decided for us to take a break from studying and show me the surprise now. He doesn't say anything but pulls my hand along. We stop in front of a vending machine and he buys me a drink...This is the surprise?
"Yes, it is," He responds to me...
"Thank you! How did you know I was in need of a drink!" I glomp him causing us to topple over and land on the ground. In my defense I really did need the drink.
"Ok you are very welcome, if you don't mind could you get off me?" Kyoya-senpai requests from me.
"Oh yeah! Sure!" I quickly stood up and helped him up.
"Come on! I know this great place we can relax by!" I urgently tug his sleeve and I lead him to this area where it's green and flowery and just peaceful.
"Interesting," He observes.
"I know right!" I respond happily.
"How did you find this place?" He questions.
"I kind of *cough* trippedandtumbleddownthehill *cough gag*," I quickly coughed out. Unfortunately he heard it and smirked at me.
"It's not my fault I'm clumsy," I huff and he chuckles before leaning in really close to my face.
"You're not clumsy, you're ditzy as well," He breathes onto my face.
"Not cool senpai!" I turn away flushing at our closeness. I don't mind Kyoya-senpai, but I don't like people so close to my face! I glance over to see that he is snickering softly at my pouting. I should just pour my drink on him but knowing Kyoya-senpai, he'd probably become the demon him and I'll be in debt. Unconsciously, I leaned my head against Kyoya-senpai's shoulder while drinking my soda. The warmth from the sun feels so good...
Akira's POV
God I hate the sun. It's bright, it's hot, it burns, and it sucks. I better go back home soon. I start packing my books up and I walk and coincidentally I trip. Like not the usual, 'I tripped on a rock/crack', no it was more like 'Logic decided to screw with me and made me trip on air!' Yeah, I tripped on air, I know, smooth move Akira, smooth move. Nonetheless my books and papers went flying...everywhere…*Emo corner*, I reluctantly bend over to pick up my papers.
"Need any help?" Someone's shadow looms over me, I look up to see that it's Daisuke!
"Hey man! Yea, some help right now would be great," I give him a bright smile before we both go back to picking my papers up. *BONK*
"Ow!" He yelps rubbing his head.
"Eh? What happened to you?" I ask him.
"...Do you seriously not feel that?" He looked at me blankly.
"...Was I supposed to feel something?" I look back at him confused when he bursts out laughing.
"What?!" I demand.
"You have a really hard head!" He chuckles...Was that an insult or compliment? Oh well, I shrug it off and get off my knees. Dusting my hands off I give Daisuke a quick goodbye and thanks before going on my way home again. Wait a minute...He's good at geography!
"Daisuke can you help me wi-" I freeze when I realize he wasn't there anymore...*Emo corner* Life is too cruel.
"Akira," Someone calls out. I turn around to be face to face with Kyoya-senpai and a sleeping Natsumi on his back.
"I see you and my friend had a good time together," I casually state.
"Yes, it was irritating to teach her but I guess it worked," He pushes his glasses up.
"Ok great...Why are you telling me this?" I look at him blankly.
"You were the one who brought her here, you have to bring her back," He gently places Natsumi on the bench next to us and hands me her textbooks, he's so gentle when handling her, *smirk* he must like her, but I knew better than to tease Kyoya-senpai...Wait...
"Noooo! It was her idea! Please help me out once and take her home, I can barely take my own textbooks!" I beg Kyoya-senpai with anime tears falling out of my eyes.
"Sorry but I have other things to do," With that, he left. *Emo corner* I am in depression...God if I keep doing emo corners I will become like that prissy Tamaki-senpai, and I do NOT want that.
"You're such an ass, you know that," I softly glare at Natsumi.
"Well, I guess there's no helping it, once you sleep, you won't wake up even if the world were to end," I mutter hoisting her on my back. I pick up both of our bags full of textbooks and start waddling down the street. I could just call up one of my cars to pick us up but her house is only 5 blocks away, I should be able to do this without the help of being rich.
ONE BLOCK LATER...
I give up, I'm on the sidewalk, collapsed, and I am emitting a weird aura of failure and depression.
"Dammit Natsumi, what the hell are you eating?!" I silently utter inwardly, how is it that you're like a feather when awake and a turkey when asleep… No wonder Kyoya-senpai seemed like he was struggling to carry you and eager to hand you to me. I run my fingers through my hair, is there like a shopping cart around here or something? A familiar large shadow covers me again.
"Thank god you're here Daisuke, I need help carrying Natsumi and perhaps helping me study with geograph-" I drop my books when I realize it's not Daisuke.
"Oh hey Mori-senpai," I greet with a warm smile. He merely stares at me.
"Sorry, I thought you were Daisuke,"' I sheepishly rub the back of my neck.
"Anyways, if you're looking for Hunny-senpai, he's at the park eating his sweets," I point down the road. I pick up Natsumi again and my books,
"Well, see you around Mori-senpai, I have to get go-" He cuts me off when he takes Natsumi off my back. I look at him confused before realizing he was offering to help carry Natsumi.
"Gee thanks man! I needed that help!" I grin at him before carrying my books and Natsumi's books humming happily that I don't have to carry Natsumi anymore. Also a bit jealous that he's carrying her. but whatever. We walk in complete silence except for the sound of my humming.
"I'm guessing because you're here I won't be able to just sneak in and place Natsumi into her room," I sigh when we reach her home. I reluctantly press the doorbell thing by the large gate.
"Who is it?" A maids voice rang out.
"It is Yamamoto Akira, Natsumi fell asleep studying, I'm just bringing her back to her home," I explain in the electronic device.
"Very well," The maid opens the gate and I face Mori-senpai.
"Thanks for your help, you can leave now, I'm sure Hunny-senpai is still at the park," I hold out my arms indicating for him to place her in my arms. He hesitates a moment before handing me Natsumi and gives me a quick nod. I however, start wobbling when she was placed back into my arms.
"See you later, Takashi," I call out just before the gate closes, I could have sworn he flinched. I guess Hunny-senpai was wrong, he doesn't like it when I call him by his first name like I did when we were younger. I enter the Suzuki residence and I bow down to show respect before trudging up the long spiral of stairs.
"They should really install elevators in large mansions," I grunt. We finally make it up to her room, I place her onto her bed and cover her with the blanket. Sitting on the edge I look at her, softly stroking her hair.
"I wonder why Kyoya-senpai even agreed to help tutor you," I wonder out loud. I knew there was a very large chance he wouldn't agree but I still called him because he was the smartest, most level headed person I know who can actually tolerate Natsumi, I recall the conversation we had…
*RING*
"Hello?" Kyoya-senpai answers.
"Kyoya-senpai, thank god you answered! Listen, could you do me a favor? I need you to tutor Suzuki Natsumi," I don't know why I used her full name, but don't judge me.
"Absolutely no-" He starts but he turns silent and I hear a bit of yelling in the background. I caught the words Suzuki and 'you have to'.
"Absolutely no problem," He replies a bit later sighing.
"Great, we're on ### Street in Keswick Park," I hung up.
I wonder what changed Kyoya-senpai's mind, oh well, I wouldn't want to know anyways. I stand up and head out of her room and out of the estate. I put my headphones on and walk down the street. Honestly, what am I going to do about Geography? I swing my bag full of books back and forth mindlessly, even hitting a cat by accidentally.
*RING* I pull out my headphones and answer my cell.
"Hello?"
"Hey darling, we're staying at the Morinozuka's tonight," My dad talks in the phone.
"Eh? Why? I have finals tomorrow," I question.
"Exactly, your grandmother is on a rampage and won't stop yelling, you won't be able to get any studying done if she's barging into your room every 5 seconds to yell at you about something unimportant and something you probably didn't do, I already have Kenta here so come on, hurry on over," With that my dad hangs up. Oh my god, maybe I shouldn't have texted my dad about the whole 'meeting up' with the other dad's. I have no choice but to head over to Mori-senpai's home. It's a traditional place and I actually like it, it isn't over the top and there are no stairs to climb. I knock on their door before entering.
"Good evening Mr. Morinozuka, I apologize for the intrusion," I bow in greeting him.
"Haha, no need for such formalities, we're all family," He chuckles a little bit. *sweatdrop* I can bet you all my money that if I didn't greet him like that he would be all out cranky and rude.
"Takashi is in his room, your father is in the room next door with your brother," He tells me. I walk into another room to see my dad was helping Kenta dress into a traditional yukata...I rub my temples, you know, I was really hoping that I could just stay in my normal clothing.
"Hello father," I greet. He looks up and his eyes brighten.
"Akira! I thought you weren't going to make it," He smiles.
"Aki-nee!" Kenta runs over and jumps into my arms.
"Hey there baby bro, how you doing?" I lift him and swing him around. If it wasn't already obvious, Kenta is my little brother.
"Did you call me Kosuke?" Morinozuka-san came in, looking at my dad expectantly.
"Oh no, I was just greeting my daughter, haha, I had forgotten you both have the same name," My dad slowly chuckles. He nods and exits the room again...It's kind of awkward to have the same name as someone's dad.
"Here Akira, change into this," My dad gives me a traditional kimono.
"...Are you serious dad?" I look at him.
"Yes I am, now show some respect and put it on, then do your studying in Takashi's room," My dad orders.
"Out of all places, you just had to choose this place when the old hag was bitching didn't you?" I roll my eyes, snatching the article of clothing out of his hands.
"Akira, don't talk about your grandmother with such disrespect," He strictly scolds me, but he has a twinkle of amusement in his eyes.
"Oh please dad, like you didn't think the same thing when she said that Kenta was to succeed the company and not me," I put Kenta down to go change.
"For the record, I still have my hopes on you," He calls out.
"You better," I respond before entering the bathroom. I start taking my shirt off and stare at the kimono.
"Out of all the ones we have at home, he just had to pick the one that's light pink with sakura designs," I grumble under my breath.
"Taka-kun? Are you in there?" Someone opens the door just as I was taking my skirt off.
"...Oh hey Satoshi, how are you?" I greet standing up to face Mori-senpai's younger brother.
"A-Ah! S-Sorry Aki-nee!" He runs out, holding his nose and flushing red...What did I do? Oh well, I finish putting on the kimono and walk out. I let my hair down from the messy bun I had on earlier. I look into the other room to see my dad and Mori-senpai's dad conversing and drinking tea and such. I go find Mori-senpai's room and it was right where I remember. It hasn't changed much, but oh well.
"Yo," I casually greet Mori-senpai. He nods in acknowledgement.
"Hey can you help me with a few things in geography?" I ask him and he glances at me before nodding. I sit down next to him and ask him a bunch of questions that he answers easily.
"Wow...I never thought geography would be this easy, thanks Mori-senpai," I pat him on shoulder before closing my book, standing up. Or at least I try to, until Mori-senpai pulls me back into his arms and nuzzles his head into my back.
"What the hell?! What are you doing Takashi?!" I freak out a bit, struggling to escape his iron grip hug.
"...Are you sleepy?" I ask him with a smirk.
"...No," He replies slowly.
"I think you are, you're more flirty and affectionate when you're tired, not that you know of course," I chuckle patting his head gently. He responds by rubbing his face into my back even more.
"Say it again," He mutters.
"What?" I cock an eyebrow at him.
"My name," He yawns out.
"...It's time for you to go to bed, Takashi," I finally pry his arms off and help him onto his futon.
"Good night," I lean forward and gently peck his forehead causing him to stir a bit before turning over. I stand up to leave his room. What are you looking at? I didn't do anything weird or affectionate, YOU HAVE NO PROOF, I DENY EVERYTHING!
"Kenta?" I poke my head into the next room to see him and Satoshi are still playing a card game.
"Come on Kenta, it's time for you to go to bed, you too Satoshi," I pick Kenta up and I follow Satoshi into his room.
"Good night Kenta," I ruffle his hair a bit.
"Good night, Satoshi," I wink at him and he flushes again. I walk to the guest room and get into the futon and try to fall asleep. But I can't...1 sheep, 2 sheep, 3 sheep, 4 sheep...It's not working...I toss and turn for a long time...Still not asleep. God damn it, maybe I should get something to drink. I get out of my futon and walk out the damn door. I have frigging finals tomorrow and my body decides to be a big DONKEY and just make me feel like there is no need for sleep. Well, if my body is going to be a biotch, might as well get some more studying done. I open my math textbook *PLONK* Zzz...
THE NEXT MORNING...
Natsumi's POV
Mmm...*Yawn*, what a good night of sleep...But what's that annoying buzz? Oh it must be my cellphone! I take it out from under my pillow to see that there are 22 new messages from Akira...*Yawn*, why would she text me so early in the morn-...I check the time on my cellphone...
"I'M LATE FOR MY FINALS! GYAAAAAAAH!" I grab my uniform and run into a maid.
"Ah! I'm sorry!" I bow quickly before rushing to the bathroom and quickly brush my teeth while tugging my skirt on. Once I'm finally finished dressing and everything, I grab my bag and my keys to my motorcycle.
"Dear God, I'm sorry for speeding but I need to get to school," I quickly pray before revving my ride to life and hitting the gas pedal hard. I get to school just as the bell rings and my hair is all messed up from the wind, I park my motorcycle sloppily before grabbing everything and tripping into the school and into my classroom.
"I'M HERE!" I burst into the classroom. Everyone looks up to stare at me, I see Akira facepalm at my entrance.
"We can all see that Suzuki-san, now would you take a seat, we were just about to start the finals," The teacher gestures to my seat, I quickly walk over and take out all the materials I needed, flattening my hair one last time as I receive the test. Alright, hopefully I can do this test.
"Test begins...Now," The teacher indicates and we all open our test booklets.
AFTER...
"...Natsumi...Are you ok?" Akira pokes me in the head with her pencil. I'm face down on my desk, arms sprawled out.
"..NO! I bombed it," I lift my head in anime tears.
"...Do you think you at least passed?" Akira asks me.
"...Yes," I pout.
"Then it's no issue, you're not even going to pursue your dad's company anyways," She shrugs.
"But that's not the point," I whine.
"It's not like your dad cares anyways," She shrugs at me.
"You don't have to achieve good grades either, your grandmother doesn't care," I retort. She merely smirks at me.
"Well, she will when I'm partying on her grave, my dad will make me the heir of the business again when she's on the road to hell,"
"...Ok then," I edge away from her response.
"I'm sure you did fine, I got Kyoya to tutor you after all," She waves off.
"Ehe...About that," I rub the back of my head sheepishly.
"...Don't tell me you fell asleep because of something else other than studying," She sighs, already knowing the answer.
"Hey! How do you know I fell asleep!" I look at her, eyes wide.
"Because I was the one that had to carry you home, dumbass," She responds, irritably.
"Ohh...Woopsie? Ehe...Sorry," I sweatdrop even more. The week goes by normally, you know the usual arguing, yelling, Akira shoving pie down Tamaki-senpai's pants. Then, it was finally the day we get our marks back! I receive my booklet back and hesitate to open my eyes.
"WHAT!?" I yell when I see my mark in math. I got a 100! I didn't think it was possible!
"Woopie!" I skip and do a weird jump in the air.
"Aw, lucky~ I got a 94 in math," Akira pouts. I jaw drop, I actually beat Akira in math...THANK YOU KYOYA-SENPAI!
"But I got 100 in all the other subjects, how about you?" She questions me and I freeze...I slowly turn my head to face my other marks and I shatter into dust. *Emo corner*
"Natsumi, it can't be that bad," Akira pats my back trying to comfort me. I shove the paper into her face.
"..Well...At least you got over 50," She hesitantly says.
"Wahh," I had anime tears spilling out of my face. I don't want to take tests anymore.
