Woah. Don't know what happened when I uploaded this the first time. What the heck was with the bold, eh? Oh well. All fixed, and readable. My apologies. Enjoy!

Chapter Twenty-Three

Kanaya had texted Sollux to switch to League of Legends that night, which Sollux found weird because he didn't expect Kanaya to be fond of that game. He hopped on, and soon they had started a match against each other. As they prepared, Sollux and Kanaya started up a video chat.

"So, I did a little scouting," she said slowly into her headset as she continued to work through the first few tasks of the game. "I can't get anything on Vriska."

"That'th becauthe it wathn't Vrithka. Eridan kiththed Dave. That'th all I have to thay on thith matter," Sollux said as he prepared his troupes.

"Sollux, you need to trust me on this. Dave confessed!"

"You're jutht trying to get me and Eridan back together becauthe you and him are all buddy-buddy now."

"Eridan has been my friend since he came to this school," Kanaya said. "You and I know better than anyone about what it's like to not have friends."

"Thith ith thtupid."

"You're stupid," Kanaya said as she moved her army onto neutral ground to claim her territory. "Captor, I'm telling you, Vriska is playing a giant game with us. I don't know how she's doing it, but Dave already says she has a big thing planned. She's the reason you and Eridan, and Dave and John, are broken up!"

"It wathn't Vrithka who told uth, I don't think."

"You don't even remember who told you to go look for your boyfriends?"

"I'm too angry to remember, Kanaya," he growled as he went to her same area and began to attack her.

"You're an idiot. No wonder you and Dave are so fond of each other. Maybe you two should be gay lovers instead." She smirked to herself as she quickly took down some of Sollux's troops.

"I don't get what the big deal ith with relationthipth anyway," Sollux said. "I mean, who needth a boyfriend or girlfriend or whatever? They're thtupid, anywayth!"

Kanaya growled a bit into her headset and slashed at Sollux's avatar in the game. "If you weren't so God damned stubborn, we wouldn't be in this mess! Can you for once shut your giant honey-flavored pie hole and let me explain to you what's going on here since obviously you need everything served to you on a freaking silver platter?"

"Thure, KK," Sollux smirked.

"I'm ignoring that," she said. "Vriska did something. I don't know what or how she did it, but she did it to somehow blackmail Dave into pulling that stunt. I was able to check the browser history of every computer at the house and there's a lot of feedback from John's page when it comes to her server. I think you get what I'm trying to say, and if you don't, I'm going to take the silver platter one which all of this information comes from and I'm going to bash you over the head with it."

"Violent much?"

"Solluxander Captor!"

"Woah, no need to pull out the full firtht name, KN," he said. "Lithten, I think you're blowing thith way out of proportion. Roxy told me Eridan wath kind of a player back in England. Why would that change here?"

"Because he's grown up and it's hard to be a player when the majority of people in our high school are straight except for our groups apparently."

"You have a theriouth point. What the fuck!"

"You understand, then," Kanaya said as she went to attack his base. "Just trust me until I can get more proof, please?"

"Why are you even tho involved in thith?"

"I'm French, we're known for love," she said with a smirk. "I've been in these varying groups long enough to know who likes who and how they act."

"Thith ith your third year, right?"

"Right," she said. "I was friends with Dave and John while you were still an eighth grader and they were ninth graders. That was my second year."

"Thchool ith confuthing and thtupid."

"Not really, Sollux. You're a freshman like most of the group. I'm a sophomore with Dave, Rose, John and Jade. Dirk, Jane and Jake all graduated, and Roxy is a senior with Cronus and all of them."

"Maketh thenthe I guethth."

Mituna walked in. "Thollux! Dad'th been calling you down for ten minuteth and he'th really mad!"

"I didn't hear him," Sollux said.

"Sollux, who is that?" Kanaya questioned, her eyes strained as she tried to get a better look of the almost identical being just beside Sollux. The only difference was that the other one had a lot more hair and wasn't wearing glasses like Sollux did.

"He'th nobody important."

"He looks just like you!"

"Thollux, Dad ith really mad!"

"I know he'th mad. Go tell him I'll be there in a thecond, Tuna."

"His name is Tuna?"

"My name ith Mituna! Hi!"

"Tuna, get out of my room!" Sollux growled as he shoved his twin out the door and slammed it. Kanaya jumped, then settled into her seat, sighing.

"I didn't know you had a younger brother."

"He'th the older one, and he'th my twin."

"I didn't know you had any siblings at all."

"I don't plan on anyone knowing, either," Sollux growled. "Tho don't tell."

"Why? He's your brother."

"Jutht don't tell, okay?"

"I suppose…" She sighed softly. "Come on, let's finish our game. I'm going to kick your ass one way or another. Might as well be online."

"Bring it on, KN."
