To a concerned reviewer: I understand the concern about people giving various interpretations of Vriska as a bad guy. The thing you must understand is that Vriska is a classified antagonist much like Eridan or Gamzee. Also, about that entire "giving scorpios a bad name" thing... I'm a scorpio born on Hallow's Eve, and I don't mind in the least.

To everyone else: Well, I'm sorry this has been... not updated as often. I've really just been... Doing nothing. I don't feel inspired anymore. I'll still finish this, but expect it to be slow. Like a snail. I hope you like this chapter. The party is next. The end is near. Enjoy.

Chapter Twenty-Seven

Sollux was sitting in the living room on his laptop playing Minecraft. Tonight was Gamzee's party, which seemed extremely boring in his opinion.

"Thollux, are you gonna go to that party?" Mituna asked, holding the invitation in his hand. "Can I come too?"

"No, Tuna," Sollux said, putting his laptop aside and standing. "That party'th gonna be thuper lame. Neither of uth thhould go."

"I've never been to a party, Thollux," Mituna said quietly. "Can we go, please?"

Sollux paused a moment. It was a Gamzee party. By the time they got to the party, so many people would be drunk they'd just think they were seeing double. "Fine. Go get dreththed in thomething other than pajamath and we can go."

"Thank you, Thollux!"

"You're welcome, Tuna."

Dave pulled up to John's house on his motorized scooter. Don't judge. It's badass. John was waiting on the steps in a button up shirt and a pair of jeans, and his head picked up when he saw his boyfriend. "Hey Dave!"

"You look good, Egderp," Dave said, grinning. "I like blue on you."

"I like red on you," John said as he walked over and slid behind Dave. "How long until we get to the party?"

"About thirty minutes since Bro wouldn't drive us. Talk to Jake?"

"Yep. He said Aranea is checking Vriska's computer as soon as she leaves. They were really understanding about the situation." John kissed Dave's cheek. "Now drive, boy."

Dave just rolled his eyes and drove down the street towards Gamzee's.

Kanaya was sitting in Karkat's room. She wore a pretty green kimono-like shirt with some jeans and watched Karkat as he tried to pick out a shirt. It was odd to her that a boy could have so much trouble picking a shirt when they were all the same exact black shirt. He finally pulled one out and pulled it over his head before the two got into Porrim's truck and she drove to drop them off.

Eridan stood in the bathroom, running his hands through his hair to make sure the gel captured his curls just right and held them there. There was no way he'd let them ruin the party tonight. He had re-dyed the purple in his hair a few nights before, and he dyed it over his black hair so when the light hit his hair right you could see purple undertones. He thought it was a nice effect.

Cronus knocked on the bathroom door. "Lil bro, I gotta use the bathroom. Can you let me in?"

"Use the dow-wnstairs one," Eridan said, washing his hands. "I'm still getting ready for the party."

"You take too long," Cronus grumbled. He opened the unlocked door. "Hav-we you been in here for tw-venty minutes doing your hair?"

"Maybe."

Cronus rolled his eyes and shoved his little brother out. Eridan just dusted himself off, recomposed himself, and walked back to his room.

Vriska sat in her room in silence, staring at the white dress she was wearing. It was a Gamzee party. The dress could easily be ruined. But at the same time, maybe getting a little closer to John was worth it.

Despite everyone doing their best to get ready for this supposedly awesome party…

Gamzee was lying in the middle of the living room floor staring at the ceiling while Kurloz made enchiladas.

The night would be more horrible than anyone expected.
