Time to find out more about what's going on! I've noticed that I haven't even sort of mentioned how this competition is going to happen, so I'm going to explain it in this chapter. Also, I think the POV will be Izzy's because I can, and she's my favorite character. So enjoy or else, you (censored) (censored) (censored)!*

Chapter 5 - Boom Boom POW! The Challangers!
I was so excited as I sat next to Owen on the bus. It was good to be reunited with everyone! I could hardly wait to get to the competition! Chris explained to us what was going on. We were going to New York City to compete with TNC on a popular game show that pit teams against each other. I heard that the host even had the two main canidates for the United States president and their parties on his show once. Though, I'm at a loss of what the show was called. Can't remember.
"Ted Johnson is my idol," Chris explained to us, "He's where I get all my inspiration for Total Drama challanges!"
"Wow, if he's Chris's inspiration, then this is going to be brutal," Courtney, who was sitting in front of me, muttered.
"Aw come on!" I exclaimed, leaning over the top of her seat, "I bet this is gonna be fun! Just think! It'll be just like Total Drama Island! Only we're all on the same team! And the challenges are probably going to be much much much harder!"
"Get me off this bus," Courtney replied.
Several hours later we stopped at a hotel for the night. Boy, were my legs cramped from being on that bus all day! Being a cheap person, Chris only paid for three rooms; one for the girls, one for the boys, and one for himself and Chef. Did you know that Katie and Sadie snore like hobos with a sinus infection? Niether did I!
The next day, we were back on the bus. Chris, who was driving now, explained that we would reach the air port in a few hours. A lot of us were still sore (I wasn't, but other were) because a lot of us had to sleep on the floor. It was fun.
"So what do you think the show will be like?" I asked the others, excitedly.
"It'll probably be just like Total Drama only harder," Beth guessed, shivering slightly.
"As long as it's nothing too dangerous, eh," Ezekiel muttered.
"What's a liitle danger?" Eva asked, "I can handle anything."
"Yeah!" I agreed, jumping up from my seat, "Remember when you took on that Sasquatch all on your own? Oh, but you got kicked off that episode, didn't you?"
Eva looked like she was about to stangle me when Chris interrupted. "Hey guys, how about we stop and get something to eat? I'm (not) buying!"
We all cheered with agreement. Boy, I knew I was hungry! I wasn't sure about the others, though. They might have been. It was hard to tell. We stopped at a Taco Bell and we all went inside. The employees were very surprised to see us all storm in at once.
As we filled up half the tables and ate (I got a giant burrito box smothered in nearly everything) I saw another bus pull up right beside ours. Only, this bus was nice looking, and not junky at all. Unlike ours, which was.
I watched in awe as the doors opened. I gasped as the people inside stepped off the bus. It was Christine and her batch of freaks!
"Oh no," Chris muttered when he saw her, "Not her. Anyone but her!"
"Aw come on, Chris!" Chef reassured him, "It's been years! I doubt she remembers you!"
Hm... apparently Chris knew this "Christine" before. How juicey!
No one said anything as TNC came in the door. Christine was speaking.
"And then I said-" she stopped suddenly when she saw Chris. "Hey! Chris McLaine!" she exclaimed happily, spreading her arms.
"OH NO!" Chris cried in horror and desperation.
"It's me, Christine!" She still had her arms out.
"I see you!" Chris replied, cringing in false happiness.
I couldn't miss out on this. I quickly ran over to them. "Hey Chris," I said, "You know this chick?"
"Unfortunately," Chris muttered in reply.
"Oh Chris!" Christine laughed. She had a very annoying laugh. Like she was trying to convince everyone that she was truly enjoying the moment when, deep in her heart, she was actually harboring a deep seated grudge against the entire world. And she snorted as she laughed. That was the most annoying part. The snorting.
"Chris, my dear, how long has it been since we dated?" Christine wondered, fanning herself with her hand.
I heard a sound behind me, like someone just spat out their drink on someone else. I turned around to see Duncan with pop dribbling down his chin and Harold looking annoyed and wet. Everyone quickly got up and ran over to hear this exchange, not wanting to miss anything. TNC did the same.
"You guys used to date?" Geoff asked, his excitement only overcome by his shock.
"Yeah," Chris replied in a very annoyed voice.
"What made you two break it off?" Trent wondered, his brow raised in amuzement.
"Well, I thought she was nice at first," Chris told us, "But then I realized that she's TOTALLY INSA- not my type." He stopped himself midsentence and stared at the ground, casting a quick glance at Christine.
I looked as well and was surprised to see that the woman was still smiling. Hadn't Chris just insulted her or something?
"Oh Chris, you're so funny!" she laughed, tossing her head back, "Have you met my kids yet?" She gestured to the group of teens surrounding her.
"You had all of these guys?" I asked, gasping, "That must've been hard work."
Christine laughed her fake laugh again. "You're funny, dear," she said to me. I noted that she said this with a false grin and through gritted teeth.
I sensed some extreme malice coming from her. What did it mean?
Sorry for that rather vague ending! I realised this chapter was kind of not going anywhere, and it was a little long. Next chapter it's going to someone who's opposite is really annoying, and we get to see what TNC is really like! Yay!
Sorry for having not updated this for some time, but I've been busy. Please R&R! I'll write more! I promise!
