Chapter Twenty Four

Titanium

"Y-you killed W-W-Wesslogia?!"

Sting nodded solemnly and wiped his tears, but none came. Fuyu shook her head in utter denial. "I know us Dragon Slayers are raised by dragons, but that's insane! Being able to kill your teacher?!" The boy sighed shakingly and held himself tight.

"I didn't want to but he forced me! He said that if I killed him I would make his dream come true. By creating one of the strongest Slayers that he's ever seen. He kept yelling at me to do it, to make myself stronger and... I did. I have no idea if it was worth it though."

Fuyu held Sting tightly, wanting nothing more than to make the boy smile. He was crying his eyes out. She sort of understood what the situation explained but she had no idea how it felt. But at least she had a chance to see Kou again.

Sting knew it was over.

"Sting...I'm so sorry. I'm sorry."

Sting held Fuyu close, tightning his hold, yet being careful about the baby.

"And then when you let us in, it felt like I had a parent again. Because my old mom didn't like me. She drunk alot of alcohal and if she got mad, threw the empty bottle at me." Sting felt Fuyu's arms tighten around him protectively.

"So when you were so nice I told Rouge I didn't want to stay because I remember a poem he taught me said. 'Nothing golden stays'." Fuyu knew the poem and stroked his blonde hair and sighed. "Technically Im nothing compared to gold. But I'll promise I'll stay for as long as you need me. As long as you want me here. I'm not going anywhere. You two may not have known me long but I am here for you. You two are my boys." Sting looked up at Fuyu with hope in his eyes.

"No leaving?"

"No leaving."

When Sting laughed in delight, downstairs Rouge had let out a worried breath he hadn't known he was holding. Relief flooding his veins.

-2 days layter-

"We will find out what the baby is now!"

Sting and Rouge were eager as Fuyu sat the cake in front of them. Rosalie, Frosh and Lector were also excited. Fuyu produced a knife and used a lacrima to call Fairy Tail.

When the other line answered, Gramps was already there, the closest to her were there with bright smiles on their face.

"What's the baby?!" Erza questioned excidetly and the others echoed with their thoughts. Fuyu braced herself and called Sting and Rouge to her side. "Ready to reveal if you guys are getting a brother or sister?" They nodded and Sting was practiclly jumping off the walls. Rouge was praying for another brother because the one he has now was to wild for him. Sting had put everything he owned that he was getting a sister. All three put a hand on a knife and let it hover over the cake.

"One." Fuyu said.

"Two.." Fairy Tail continued.

"Three!" They all exclaimed as the three cut into the cake twice to make a slice. Fuyu let go of the knife as Rouge and Sting held up the slice of cake.

The inside was pink.

Everyone cheered as Sting fed Fuyu the slice.

"Fairy Tails getting a baby girl! Lets party!" Natsu exclaimed as Fuyu hugged her boys in delight.

"Aernt you guys excited?! When we get a house of our own you guys are gonna be the men of the house. So you have to protect her with whatever you've got. M'kay?" They nodded as she spun them around in a circle. Rouge could have sworn nothing could wipe that smile off of her face.

It was so bright.

That night, Fuyu let out a piercing scream.

Sting and Rouge never ran so quick in there life.

"C..Call Makarov! My..l-lacrima's broke! And so is my water!" She was taking labored breaths as Sting whipped out his lacrima. "You should probably call that Erza lady!" Sting ushered his brother as Rouge rushed to grab his own communication card under his pillow.

Someone just had to call.

"L-Laxus Dreyar...?" Rouge read the caller ID slowly and he could hear Fuyu give out a gasp. Whether it was from the caller or the baby he didn't know.

"Do I answer it Mother?!" He questioned. He knew she knew the man. And he knew he was a big role in her life. He just didn't know how big.

"Ahh! No! D-don't!"

Too late.

Rouge had accidently hit the answer part and Laxus appeared in the room. "Who the hell are you?" Laxus dead panned and a loud shriek came from her room. Laxus immediately tensed. "Where is she?!" He demanded as Rouge tensed himself. He didn't believe this man knew that his mother was pregnant so he stayed quiet after saying this line.

"Sting, is Mom alright? Did the guild master answer?"

"Yeah! Natsu and Erza are on the way!" Sting replied. When he walked in though, his muscles locked up immediately at the face of the lightning Mage.

"What's wrong with her? Answer me!" Laxus demanded, lightning already to spark. He seemed to be forgetting he was still in a diffrent location. Even then Sting was sure he could take him on. He was a dragon slayer for crying out loud! Rouge's teeth were grinding at the man. Even if he really wasn't here, he wouldn't be getting anywhere NEAR Fuyu. He knew what had happened. He pried it out after he saw her crying on the picture in the album. This man was obviously insane if he thought he would actually see her.

And there would be no way in hell Rouge would say "Daddy."

"What's it to ya?" Rouge asked, so unlike his proper speech. Sting knew he was over protective of the woman, hell he was too, but Rouge seemed to have an inclination on his reasoning to be hostile towards the taller and older blonde Mage. He would have to pry it out of him after this.

In the other room, Fuyu was having trouble breathing. Laxus was here! In this house! Maybe on lacrima communication but he was there. Out of all the days...! Not to mention the baby decided it was ready to see the world. Maybe she decided to come on out now that 'daddy dearest' was in the picture.

Erza called her cell phone.

"We are twenty more minutes away. Are you alright?!" She demanded and Fuyu felt the urge to start screaming. And she did. "What do you fucking think?! I'm in here having a got damn panic attack! And my body is fucking KILLING ME!" Both Erza and the boys in the other room flinched.

In the train, Natsu was tense. Gramps had immediately sent him Erza, Gray, Fried and Mirajane to go protect her while he and Gajeel went to collect Porlyusica with Lucy picking up Wendy so the two healers could perform the delivery.

Back at the cabin, Laxus's mind was in turmoil. Fuyu was in the other goddamn room and he couldn't get to her!

"Sting, go stay with Mom. Erza said she was on her way, so she should be safe." Sting nodded and with one more look at Laxus, took off across the hall. Rouge stared at Laxus and the man stared back.

"What do you want from her? Was raping her not enough for you?"

Laxus took a powerful step back like he was just dealt a blow to the gut. Rouge wasn't finished talking.

"What? Embarrased? Feeling guilty? Or maybe your a sick son of a bitch who would want to taunt about his conquering skills to boost his sadist ego."

"Shut up!"

Rouge chuckled when Laxus looked close to breaking. Red clashed with orange as the boy and man stared each other down. Rouge felt good at making him hurt some type of way. He wasn't cocky like Sting, he knew when he was outmatched, but watching this man's emotional state crumble in his fingers were just lovely. Taking another step foward, he knew very well Laxus could reach out and beat him within an inch of his life, but he also knew he couldn't get out of this room without him moving the lacrima. Laxus was stuck and Rouge knew it.

"What's wrong, Laxus?" Rouge spat, crossing his arms. "Are you angry that Im hitting all of the correct points? Upset that a child is beating you, a twenty something year old, with mind games?" As expected, Laxus reached out and punched Rouge. Rouge spit blood like a bad ass and sat up easily. He even smirked as he wiped away the remaining blood. "Did that make you feel better? Hitting someone who isn't as strong as you? Using your dominancy? Is that what you did to her?"

Laxus growled low, being blinded by rage. He began to punch Rouge and over again. Rouge just took on this insane laughter that quite frankly terrified Laxus.

"Is this what you did to her? Or could you just not notice your own strength?"

"I. Never. Beat. Her."

"Oh because that compared to rape is horrific." Rouge replied sarcasticlly.

Laxus gritted his teeth and growled animalistically. "Like a boy knows anything about me. About us."

Sting opened the door and allowed the Fairy Tail wizards in.

He directed the woman, Erza, and the two men, Natsu and Fried, upstairs to the room wher Fuyu breathed hazardously. Erza ran over and delicately laid Fuyu back down in the bed.

"It's ok. Porlyusica and Wendy are on the way. They were right behind us."

Natsu, who was still in the hallway, had heard laughter in the room down the hall. Wondering who else was in the house, he turned towards Sting.

"Hey, Lil man, someone here with you guys?"

Sting nodded and directed Natsu towards the room. "My brother. Rogue. He is talking to some guy that Momma knew. I think his name was… Laxus?"

Natsu froze and then began racing towards that door.

"That son of a bitch! LAXUS!"
