It wasn't hard for Ren to find out the next morning that Kyoko had locked not only her heart away, but also her head behind the secure mask that was Setsuka Heel.

"Kyoko?" he had not spoken loudly, yet he knew she heard him as his love dressed as Setsu turned towards him,yet the look on her face and in her eyes was enough for him to know she wasn't Kyoko nor would she be... for how long he didn't know as Setsu scowled.

"Who's this Kyoko, Nii-san?" Setsu asked scowling as Ren shifted instantly into Cain.

"Isn't that the name of the last victim for today's filming?" he asked instantly as Cain whilst rubbing his eyes and running his hand through his hair as if he was still waking up, "I was thinking about my lines."

"I wouldn't know, Nii-san." Setsu said simply as she turned back towards the mirror and continued brushing her blond and pink hair. "You had better hurry up Nii-san, if you don't want Otou-san coming down here for you." With that Setsu was out of the bedroom door.

Ren sighed as he rubbed his face again, this time calling himself every type of idiot he could think of. He knew what he had needed to do last night and also why it was needed, but now as he and his family plus the girl he loved stood on the precipice of Japan's media Ren knew he needed Kyoko as well as Setsu... and he hoped that she needed him just as much as she had appeared to yesterday at the studio.

Setsu was right though, he had better get dressed before that idiot of a man he proudly called a father came down complaining he was starving to death or something equally as idiotic. He truly loved the man, but Setsu had it completely correct he was an Oya-baka.

She was perfect, down to the last detail Julie noticed as Setsu carried out her morning routine of kissing them and greeting them both. She was too perfect. In that moment Julie and Kuu both knew Kyoko was buried deeply. They both looked at Cain who read their expressions before nodding. He understood and with a simple head shake he told them he had no idea how to handle it.

"So shall we see?" Sayuri asked as her two children seated themselves.

The two Love Me girls already seated looked around at the remaining three members who nodded. Sayuri took the TV remote in her hand and taking a deep breath she pressed the button to watch Japan's reaction to the Heels story.

"So what do you think of all of this Makoto-san?" the reporter asked the woman she had stopped on the street. The Daily Scoop was going all out to get the public's views on the Heel siblings and their relationship.

"Well I think their mother did have a good point about not being contacted about the original press release. But I wonder if maybe someone was doing it for publicity? Or maybe they went on their initial thoughts about the siblings before checking the facts. I wonder if the picture had not been released if things would have been different? But still I suppose with all of the facts I don't view their relationship in the same way I did before." the woman said thoughtfully as the people standing around them nodded.

Yet still one malcontented individual had to have their say. "They should still be extradited!" an older woman who looked to be in her late forties shouted as the reporter instantly turned to get the woman's views.

"Both of them have unsavoury background, her mother was a drug pushing..." she paused, "and you know what they say about the apple never falling far from the tree." The people watching and the first woman that was being interviewed all inhaled sharply at the new woman's instigations.

"You think that there is something deeper than the stories we are being told?" the reporter asked. She herself was shocked by this woman's declaration but she was a professional so continued with her job.

"Of course I do! What child would love her brother that much adopted or not? If they lived as part of a drug ring for the start of their life who's not to say they had contacts with them still and only came back to Japan to start them back up again? What's not to say that because of their parents addictions they too are not addicted? And we all know that in places like America and England the show business world is a lot different from ours..."

She left the thoughts of recent stories that had been spoken about people such as Peaches Geldof who had apparently died from drug abuse or other such stories of unspeakable offences such as pedophillia and indecent exposure and underage sexual relations.

"So your belief is there is yet more to the story we are not being told?" The reporter asked and the older woman nodded.

"That's ridiculous!"a new voice added as this time a young man was called forwards to speak.

"It was clear for anyone to see that Cain Heel truly cares about his sister! I for one feel ashamed that I never asked more about the truth. I was fully for them being imprisoned for their indecent behaviour, but really can any of us understand what they both went through? Could you even begin to imagine what their lives have been like? I for one have a loving supportive family. I have never lacked for anything if it was within my parents power to give it to me and if I deserved it.

Could you even imagine being that young and having to care for another life like Heel-san had to do? Can you not understand why Setsuka-san could love her brother that much and that unconditionally? What if they came out and said they didn't truly have a brother and sister relationship? Could anyone really stop them? Could anyone take away the only constant presence in their lives? Or what if you looked at it a different way? Could their relationship be more that of a father and daughter maybe? He her protective father figure and she the terrified child?

I'm sorry but if you disagree, there was no way you could fake that type of fear and anger Setsuka-san was feeling on stage yesterday. The pain that makes you feel so trapped and alone that you're physically shaking."

Lots of the people surrounding the reporter and her three interviewees were nodding and mumbling there agreement as the interview and arguments continued. Julie changed the channel.

"Wouldn't it make a wonderful story? A love so deep and so strong it will go to hell and back to endure as long as they're together?" the host was saying to her associate as they sat there with a big picture of the Heels seated together from the day before.

"Ahhh but even if it was that type of relationship I wonder could they ever follow their hearts and truly marry? Did the Heel seniors make a mistake by adopting both children? I'm not sure about the laws in England, but it seems lawfully adopted children would not be able to marry?"

The first host nodded as she thought about this.

"But it's such a shame. All of that pure unending love Cain-san seems to have for Setsuka-san! It makes me want to root for them as a couple! Facing all odds in the end to win your one true love."

Calvin didn't know whether to chuckle at the way the host seemed to drift off into some fairytale world where her new favourite couple could be together forever, just as Julie changed the channel once more.

There were so many different views on the matter. some people wanted more information on the Heels background and their true relationships. Other people were still calling and garnering support to have the siblings and in some cases the entire family sent home.

Then there were the people that truly felt sorry for the family who had been through so much. The family that were striving to carry on with their lives even after having such hard times before. People who said they were inspirational. When breakfast arrived, something that Calvin had pouted at Sayuri for as he was as always hungry arrived the stories there were the same mixture too. Though as all of them noticed the weight of support seemed to have drastically shifted as hoped for.

The Heels were winning support and in doing so winning the war against the biased. Breakfast was just finishing when Calvin's phone rang. Calvin who was still the main occupant at the table eating sighed. Dropping his half-eaten muffin to the table he picked up the phone. Everyone else listened in, though Setsuka herself did so half-heartedly as she flipped through a paper that was making her blood boil. In said paper was an interview with people from Tragic Marker about the siblings. Lory had mentioned to the director how maybe it would be a good idea now to have a few trusted people from the set giving their opinions. One such opinion just had to be from Manaka didn't it! Setsu thought seething as her mind drifted off on ways to get rid of the woman who stated how she had always known Cain was a caring and loving kind soul who only acted the way he did from necessity. Now she was spewing on about how he probably did it from not knowing how to act any other way after his hard past. Manaka never once mentioned her Setsu thought and sneered as she tossed the paper away from herself in rage.

She then noticed the table was silent and looked up to see five sets of eyes glued to her.

"Setsu?" Sayuri asked.

She knew that the young girl had not been listening to a word that had been said in perhaps the last ten minutes and wondered what had been written in the paper Setsu had so forcibly thrown. Out of the corner of her eye she watched as Kanae picked up the paper. She scanned the page Setsu had been reading before a grim and annoyed look passed over her and she too pushed the paper away but only to the middle of the table.

"Mother..." Setsu said simply as Sayuri watched the young woman settle herself and her roiling emotions.

"We were talking about how we were going to be working the schedule today my dear Setsuka!" Setsuka wanted to bang her head against the table in frustration at the voice she couldn't fail to notice was coming from the phone on the table before her father.

"Nii-san has filming," Setsu said simply as if that answered all questions. She was not being separated from her Nii-san again.

"Were you not listening to me Setsuka?" Lory asked the obvious pout in his voice as Setsu simply refused to answer. Cain's arms slipped around her stomach slowly and pulled his sister closer into his embrace.

"Murasame-san will not be attending today and due to that they can only do one of the intended scenes so we will be finished quickly." Setsu nodded and turned her head to nuzzle into Cain's neck.

She had missed the closeness they had this morning. With the last few days waking up next to each other, the hidden part of herself Kyoko had been too close at that time to allow her loving brother time.

"Boss wants to know if we would be willing to go in and do a magazine interview and later another show plus a photo shoot." Cain said in his own bored and uncaring tone, yet his arms squeezed Setsu tighter.

He had wanted this since this morning waking up alone. He had wanted his sister, the heart of his world in his arms, but he also could not deny he had wanted it not to be just Setsu in Cain's arms, but Kyoko in his. He needed to know that she didn't hate him, that she wasn't going to suddenly disappear.

Why not? You did. Ren's voice echoed in his mind as Cain gave a shrug while Kuon fought off the pain of their words.

I never wanted to hurt her! I just wanted her to stay happy! She thought I was something I was not. Are you telling me she would have been happier knowing her fairy prince was a frightened scared little boy?! Would she have been happier knowing that all I told her and showed her was a mere illusion? Kuon shouted back. It was rare he argued with himself. Kyoko had broken him of that when she had showed him how he was really just one person who thought of himself as more.

I think she wouldn't have cared as long as she could have her friend by her side. Ren said his own voice full of his own hurt at how he, how they had all hurt Kyoko.

Lory wondered just what was going on over there. First Kyoko not listening and now from the sounds of it Kuon was in a world of his own.

"Nii-san...Nii-san..." Setsu said shaking her brother gently as she tried to bring him back to some sense of normalcy. His arms were painfully tight around her, but Setsu didn't care as she watched the change Cain's eyes. Inside Kyoko almost cried out in panic as she watched Ren,no Kuon, slipping away.

DO SOMETHING! she yelled at herself as Setsu who placed her one hand gently on Cain's chest pushed herself away the small amount she was able and turned towards her brother. Her other hand lovingly touched onto his cheek and she gently kissed his lips.

"Nii-san... we were losing you there for a minute" she said softly as she watched Cain's look return to normal. He seemed to realise his grip on her as it loosened in one way, yet tightened in another as he pulled Setsu's body flush to his.

"I'm sorry Setsu... bad memories." was all he said simply as she nodded onto his shoulder and hugged him back.

Inside Kyoko stilled she was ready to push back again running and hiding in the deepest recesses of her mind as she hid away from what she didn't yet feel ready to face. But in that moment as she felt Kuon's body shivering below her understanding of just how many bad memories he had was even more painful than the lies.

"It's ok, Nii-san. I'm here," she said simply as she let him hold her.

The table looked on and Lory who could not see the position of the two but could hear the emotion in their voice was almost ready to scream! It was so unfair he was being left out!

So it was decided that the Heel seniors would be heading straight to LME at Lory's request whilst Setsu, Cain and the Love Me ladies would go and shoot the few scenes in which Cain was required before joining them.

The studio watched as the Heel siblings entered, holding hands as always yet again today flanked by the two LME women who had been with them the last few days. No one wondered anymore why they were present with the Heels. But still they wondered if the women were happy with the situation as the taller of the two scowled noticeably as a few of the cast and crew came to greet them.

Kanae eyed Manaka evilly, she felt absolutely no love for the girl. She was one of the types Chiori hated: one of the 'I'm so cute you have to love me types' that she herself wanted to smack. She wondered if Setsuka and Cain would have been so calm greeting the annoying woman if they didn't seem so out of ease with everything.

Cain looked down at Setsu completely ignoring Manaka. Setsu was looking towards today's setup with her bored expression in place. Ren and Kuon couldn't help but wonder about what had passed this morning already. Kyoko seemed to have withdrawn from him, but if so was that all Setsu? they wondered as they remembered the moment earlier.

"It's ok Nii-san, I'm here." she had said as he held her just that little bit tighter.

"But are you really Setsu? or have I already lost you?" Setsu had pulled away marginally to look at her brother before her.

"Of course I'm here with you... baka, who else would I rather be with?" Setsu heard the inner comment behind Cain's words as she leant her forehead against his speaking softly so the other seated around the table would struggle to hear her next words.

"I may walk away sometimes Nii-San, but never for one moment think I will not come back to you. Never for one moment think that I will never not need you. I will always be your sister and your friend, Nii-san. Never forget that."

All he could do at the time was nod and accept her words, but those words spoken so softly yet full of confidence. Could he dare hope to believe that it was not only Setsu but also Kyoko behind them? Did he dare hope at the end of all of this she would forgive him? The simple thing was he already knew the answer. He had to believe it, it was simply the only thing making him hold on, making him walk forwards with everything rather than collapse under the strain of maintaining not just one persona, but two.

Setsu looked up into her brother's face feeling his eyes on her and she smiled slightly, just Setsu's sexy little smirk that turned men to mush.

"Seems the hamster's here today brother," she said simply in English as Cain shot a tired look over to the bouncing Manaka beside him. He was doing his best to ignore her as she spouted off her long spiel of how she always knew he was this amazing person and never doubted him. The others that had come over to greet the Heels also looked at Manaka wearily and both Love Me girls guessed she had been on about this all morning.

"More like an annoying toad," Kanae said under her breath in English.

Hearing Setsu's comment her arms crossed solidly over her chest as she rolled her eyes looking around her. It was the sudden silence and the feel of eyes on her which made Kanae look up and towards the Heels. The rest of the people and cast looked on. The reason became obvious as Setsuka was visibly shaking her hand over her mouth whilst the other held onto Cain with a steel-like grip as she tried to remain standing.

"Setsuka-san?!" Kanae cried covering the distance in two strides to stand before the woman. She wondered if she was having some type of fit, as she stood before her and Cain steadied the small woman with a calming hand. Setsu finally lifted her head up a little so Kanae could see her face and eyes. Setsu's eyes were dancing with tears of mirth as she tried to stop herself from laughing. Looking up into the face of the woman she was coming to think of as a friend was too much as Setsuka Heel for the first time since the beginning of filming burst out laughing.

Kanae hardly knew what to think as she watched Setsu laugh, simply enjoying the moment.

"Annoying toad," she said as she seemed to calm down before she started laughing wholeheartedly once more.

The cast and crew of Tragic Marker learnt something very important that morning. Setsu's real laugh was contagious, it only took Kanae a few moments after Setsu repeated her words for her to begin laughing. Chiori chuckled softly to herself watching the two other girls laugh. The people that could speak English enough to understand what Kanae had said also started chuckling as the ever stupid Manaka just looked on puzzled before she too began laughing hoping to join in on the joke which made the people who understood what the girls were laughing at laugh too.

The director walked in to his entire crew laughing. Director Konoe simply enjoyed coming into a studio where not one person seemed upset or anxious. It was something very rare in this business and it made him smile. After all of the trouble they had been experiencing lately they needed this, he thought.

"Heel-san, Setsuka-san so glad you could join us today and also to our LME representatives. Have I missed a good joke?"he asked looking at the four people plus Riona and a few of the stage hands. Riona had been kind enough to send Manaka off on an errand to save the girl embarrassment when someone finally told her the joke was about her to begin with.

"Ignorance is bliss," she had said with a chuckling shrug as Cain smiled at her. He had been the only one not laughing, but he had been smiling which had almost sent Manaka into an endless nosebleed.

"You had to be there," was Riona's simple reply to Konoe's question with a look that said she was sorry he had indeed missed out. Whether he would have laughed at Manaka's sake she was unsure but it had felt good to see Setsu laughing after watching her on the TV yesterday. She had been talking and listening to everyone since arriving earlier that morning, everyone was thinking the same idea.

How to deal and speak with the Heel siblings when they arrived? Did they avoid the obvious horror that was their real lives when they were younger? Or did they try and continue as if nothing happened? Kanae and Setsu had fixed that without even realising. They had simply been two people sharing a joke and living.

"Ahh thats a shame, but it must have been good for everyone to be smiling?" Konoe said as he looked around. It was Chiori who spoke up next.

Smiling is infectious,

you catch it like the flu,

When someone smiled at me today,

I started smiling too.

I passed around the corner and

someone saw my grin.

When he smiled I realized

I'd passed it on to him.

I thought about that smile,

then I realized its worth.

A single smile, just like mine

could travel round the earth.

So, if you feel a smile begin,

don't leave it undetected.

Let's start an epidemic quick,

and get the world infected!

All eyes were on Chiori now as she realised just what she had said and blushed beautifully before bowing. "I'm sorry!" she said as her ears and neck started turning red too.

"What is there to be sorry about?" Konoe asked as he smiled at the girl kindly.

"That was beautiful, did you write it yourself?" Chiori shook her head still entirely embarrassed.

"No, that was something I read on the internet. I'm not sure about the author but it's something I always remember. It just seems correct in situations like these I have a friend who seems to spread smiles like the flu which I suppose helps me remember the poem more." Konoe nodded and Riona smiled encouragingly.

"Kyoko?" Kanae said still smiling which Cain noticed was causing a few skipping hearts. It wasn't often the ice queen of LME was seen so openly smiling unless she was around Kyoko and only people within LME new that.

"Yeah, it kind of fits her perfectly doesn't it." Kanae nodded before turning back to the director and awaiting what the Heel siblings would be doing next. Taking the hint Konoe turned to Cain and started explaining the day's scene.

"So we are going for scene 7 today if that's fine with you, Heel-san. It's the murder of victim 5 who just happens to be a martial arts specialist. We have Hatura-san on site for the choreography but hopefully it will be an easy enough scene for you to complete. Though I have to ask you to go gently on Hikari-san. I believe she feels a little intimidated and we do need it to look like she is fighting back for her life not cowering and letting you take it." Cain nodded, the smile had disappeared but the professional look was in his eyes as Konoe nodded and released him to wardrobe.

"Back in a bit," Setsu said with her sexy smirk towards the Love Me girls back in place as she wrapped her arm around her Nii-san's and walked with him to get ready for the scene.

"Thank you," Riona said as she too looked at the pink clad ladies.

"For what Riona-san? Chiori asked knowing Kanae should not be aware of the woman's name, even if she had read it multiple times on the safe list.

"You broke the ice around what could have been a difficult situation. As you can imagine by now the entire staff and crew know about the Heel siblings upbringing and back story. I suppose I was just worried about how to approach them both with so much unpleasant knowledge in my head."

Konoe who was still standing near them nodded.

"Yes I believe we have all been a little anxious about that."

Kanae and Chiori completely understood this and nodded. They too had felt that with the Heels after the interview. Carrying on like normal had seemed like the only option. Kanae supposed as the people here worked with the Heels on a completely professional level with no social or emotional attachment. From the trouble the President had told them Cain and Setsu had been causing before she couldn't blame them.

"They are only human at the end of the day we just would have carried on," added a new voice as one of the stage hands approached them with his own smile firmly in place.

"Ahh Shen-san are we ready?" Konoe asked as the camera man nodded.

"Just need you to come and check the stills Director-san," Shen answered as she bowed before the three girls and the director.

"Then please excuse me," Konoe said to the three ladies as the two men walked off.

"You ok Riona-san?" Kanae asked. She had noticed how Riona's expression had seemed to change with the man Shen's words. Riona seemed to snap back to the present as she shook her head slightly and looked at Kanae.

"Ahh. No sorry, lost in thought there for a moment," she said and smiled.

"How about we get drinks?" she asked and the Love Me girls nodded at the invitation, though Kanae felt uneasy all the same.

"OK we will try again. Take 7. Action!"

"W-wh-who are... you?" the woman asked as her voice trembled with pure fear at the sight of the figure before her. He never answered as he approached her slowly. His dead eyes seeming to radiate an unearthly light as the blade in his hand glimmered. "S-stay back!" the woman warned as she brought her arms up before her in the ready stance.

The the man said nothing as he raised the knife and began to rush towards her with his murderous intent in his eyes.

"AND CUT!" the director cried as once again Hikari failed to even attempt to defend herself from BJ's onslaught.

"OK TAKE FIFTEEN!" the director called as he sighed, pushing his glasses up he rubbed his eyes and pinched his nose.

Seven tries at the same shot and still the actress was unable to stand before BJ. He knew BJ was an imposing character. He had created him after all, but really! Every single attempt by Cain had been exactly the same. Every time he had approached in the same way and same speed by now he had hoped the actress/stunt woman would have been able to hold her professionalism enough to do the choreographed performance.

"Director?" the gravelly voice pulled Konoe out of his depressing thoughts and back to the real problem at hand.

He looked at Cain Heel before him. "I'm sorry, Heel-san. We will have to take a break before we try again."

Cain nodded but still stayed standing before the director, who looked at him expectantly. Looking around Cain spotted Kanae watching and signalled for her to join them. "Could you ask the director if we could try something?" Cain asked in slow English towards Kanae who nodded her understanding before relaying the words to the director.

Always the professional Tsuruga-san! Konoe though as he wondered if the woman knew who the man next to her really was.

"Be my guest. I think we need all the help we can get at this point," he replied as Cain nodded his understanding and went and stood back on the set.

"Do I get to know what we are trying?" he asked out loud to nobody in particular.

Kanae nodded towards the doorway that led to the dressing rooms. "I think there's your answer." Kanae replied as she watched Setsu emerge dressed in traditional clothes from the dojo. Her blond and pink hair tied back from her face as she finished wrapping the last of the tape around her fists.

When she entered the area all eyes were on the young woman as she stood before the man who seemed impossibly large over her. Being barefoot without her high-heeled boots Setsu was at least four heads shorter than Cain.

"Does Setsuka-san know the choreography?" Konoe asked stunned at the young woman's change in appearance.

"After 13 repetitions of the same choreography Director I believe even the stagehands know it." Konoe didn't miss the sarcasm in Kanae's words. He silently agreed with her as Setsu began stretching and warming up on the set.

"Director!" one of the stagehands said running up to them. "Shall I fetch Hikari-san so she can watch?" she asked.

"Give it a few more minutes and then if you would please get Hikari-san." The hand nodded as she quickly walked off again towards the dressing rooms.

"She looks so small, standing there against him. No wonder she trusts Cain to protect her. I suppose when you're that small."

Kanae smiled slightly at the Directors attempt at humour. "I bet in a real fight Setsuka would have a chance of beating him." Kanae added and was pleased to see the look of utter disbelief on Konoe's face.

"I doubt Cain would ever be able to fight against Setsuka-san fully. And it only takes something small for the odds to change." Kanae walked away with these words and Konoe considered them.

You know she's probably right.

Soooo Setsu if going to be fighting BJ :P

I wonder how that will turn out, Japan still is having mixed feeling about the siblings

and is there trouble all up and over with now?
