Hey, guys, please don't hate me for this author's note...
I just wanted to let you all know that I have not abandoned this story. I've been away for three weeks at a writing intensive camp and I've been incredibly busy on my novel as well as several entries for a major writing contest. During this year or so of inactivity I've been practicing and learning how to write. It's what I want to do for a living, so I hope you can all understand why I haven't been posting.
I have actually been working on finishing Pokepower: Dexdefenders Unite! and I'll post the whole story after I finish the contest entries and the novel. Believe it or not, novel writing is a very long and complicated process and I'm only halfway done.
I've also been, yet again, rewriting the first few chapters because my writing and storytelling has improved significantly and so, yeah, I'll be replacing those chapters rather than making a new story.
The plot will change slightly, but there'll be more information on that when the new chapters come out.
The whole story started as a joke/crackfic and I began writing it in middle school...but now I really want to make something of it; I really want to show that I am a part of the fandom and I want to give something to it.
Thank you all so much for supporting me. Sorry if this sounded really, really cheesy, but I felt like I needed to let you guys know that you didn't subscribe to me for nothing. And I swear to goddamn Arceus, if you tell me that this chapter goes against the guidelines, I will personally have Darkrai put you in a never ending fever sleep!
Also, you'd probably like to know that I'm working on another project. It's only in the planning stages now, but when Pokepowers is finished (and my novel, of course) and before I start any of my other Pokespe fan fiction ideas, I will start writing it. I guess it can be considered a...spin-off.
Anyway, since I actually really want there to be some entertainment value in this "chapter" I guess I'll give y'all a little Creation Trio conversation:
Dialga: Hey, guys.
Palkia: Yeah?
Dialga: Did you hear about Ho-Oh and Lugia's divorce?
Giratina: You're kidding! They've been married for more than four-thousand years!
Arceus: He deserved it...bastard...
Dialga: Jeez, boss, what'd you have against Ho-Oh.
Palkia: Yeah!
Arceus: He is a terrible person! I'm just glad Lugia's finally come to her senses.
Dialga: Wasn't Ho-Oh on Legendary Suspension?
Giratina: Dude, that was three-hundred years ago.
Dialga: Wow, time passes quickly.
Palkia: Yeah!
Dialga: In happier news, Regigigas has proposed to Shaymin.
Arceus: Aww, that's cute.
Giratina: Did she say yes?
Dialga: Of course; Regi's a stud.
Palkia: Yeah!
