While the pups fix a beaver dam, Zuma has an accident which causes him to go downstream and end up unconscious at the riverside. Luckily, he meets a friendly she-wolf pup named Lua who helps him get back to his team. Then, when Lua gets caught in a hunter's trap, Zuma must return her the favor by saving her with the help of his friends.

The Paw Patrol is growing. New pups have to learn that being a rescue pup is demanding and exhausting. Mistakes will be made but they must be learned from.
