Hermione's POV
The dinning pavilion was huge, the celling reached up for miles and like the rest of the city it was stone with beautiful hand carved patterns and wood beams lining the structure. 'I stood in the doorway gaping until Arwen gave a soft laugh and interrupted my thoughts on how beautiful the room was'
"Do you want food or not?" Arwen said in her soft voice.
"huh, sorry Arwen it's just so beautiful" I said in complete awe.
I walked over to the main tale in the middle of the room where Elrond and my brothers were sitting and sat down in the only empty seat I could find which was next Eladen I think I'm pretty sure he was taller so hopefully I'm right. As I sat down everyone started looking at me.
"What, have I got something on my face or something?" I asked in confusion.
"What, no it's just you look different from the last time we saw you know because you didn't look like an elf then and now you do and you look really nice by the way" Elrorhir replied to in a jumble of words that still sounded incredibly graceful in the elfish tongue.
"Oh right I completely forgot" I said in a relived voice. I looked at the table and saw all of the delicious looking food sitting in front of me on the table. The closer I looked the more I realised I didn't recognise any of them.
Gandalf who was sitting at the end of the table directly across from Elrond must of noticed my confusion because he said "don't worry child it's all very good I promise"
"Thank you Gandalf I think I recognise that from Hogwarts" I said while pointing to a small bowl of porridge looking stuff.
"Ah yes that's right if I remember correctly you had quite the liking for it" Gandalf replied in a slightly amused tone.
"Yes I did so I assume you brought some to Hogwarts and taught the house elves how to cook it" I answered, god I hope I'm right I hate being wrong. You know what I'm super hungry I think I'm just going to eat this then talk a walk.
"Hey guys I think I'm going to take a walk after I've ate this anyone want to join me?" I asked voicing my thoughts.
"I'll come if you don't mind I was going to practice my archery but that can wait cant have you getting lost now can we" Elrorhir said with a slight smirk at the mention of getting lost. God just cause I've only been here for a day or so doesn't mean im going to get lost. Wait a second where's Snape shouldn't he be here.
"Gandalf where's Snape shouldn't he be here to?" I asked my voice laced with curiosity.
"Ah Tarellethiel no need to worry"- worry why would I be worried-"He came down to breakfast early and has already left the pavilion to go exploring as you would say" Gandalf answered for me. That makes sense I quickly finish eating my breakfast and turn to Elrorhir,
"Are you finished yet because I'm ready to go when you are"
"Yes just give a minute then we can go, is there anything you would like to learn or know about Rivendale or anywhere In Middle Earth for that matter?" was the answer he gave which he somehow managed to turn into a question.
"Yes if you wouldn't mind I would love to no more about the history of Middle Earth when I think about our peoples history it just sort of pops to fore-front of my mind but that doesn't happen with any other race's history I try to think about" I say in answer to his question.
"That would be no problem at all and I would be honoured to be able to teach you about all you wish to know, if you like I could teach you how to a bow and arrow along with daggers however if you wish to learn sword fighting I would recommend going to Eladen and for horse riding go to Arwen and if you decide you want to learn the ways of healing just as Ada I'm sure he'd be happy to help." Elrorhir says as he stands up. I start standing up as well just as Elrond says,
"Of course not if you ever need anything just ask"
As I walk I start to walk out of the room after Elrorhir I accidently bump into someone,
"Oh god I'm so sorry I didn't see you there" I say in an attempt to apologise. I look to see an extremely handsome looking elf standing in front of he's about a foot taller than me and has long silvery blonde hair which is pulled back at the front with two small braids at either side of his face. I chance a look at his face and my eyes meet the most memorising dark brown eyes I have ever seen our eyes connect for a second before I look away and start inspecting his clothes he's wearing a similar outfit as Elrorhir was yesterday except his is a forest almost jade green tunic with a brown leather undershirt and brown leather leggings of sorts. He was wearing a pair of brown fabric boots that were most likely lined with leather and fur. Another thing that was different was the symbol proudly portrayed on the elves tunic although it was similar to the crest of Rivendale it was slightly different. I was pulled out of my review of sorts on the elf when he began to speak. His voice almost sounded like music with the grace of his words,
"It's quite alright I should have been watching were I was going, I'm Legolas Greenleaf a pleasure to meet you lady …" he let his words drag on and I caught the silent question
"Tarellethiel Eruanna a pleasure to meet you to" as I walk away I don't notice the fact that everyone is smirking at us obviously able to see the small blush that plagued both our cheeks. As we walked around the city I took in its amazing beauty while still be able to take in all Elrorhir was telling me. Once we had stopped by one of the many waterfalls and mind was allowed to rest the first thing that came to mind was that elf from the pavilion and it seemed I couldn't stop thinking about him even as I went through the day.
A/N Hoped you liked it please review it always help to know ones mistakes so we can learn from them.
