Chapter 5

Hermiones POV

I woke the next morning expecting to hear birds as usual but instead I was surprised to hear rain. I got out of bed to see a note lying on my dresser table. I picked it up and the very neat script which obviously belonged to Arwen,

Tarellethiel

I am happy to tell you the seamstresses have finished making your clothes they are in your wardrobe I would recommend sticking to wearing dresses unless you're travelling as it is unusual for woman to wear trousers.

P.S Ada would like to speak to you after breakfast

'Hmm I wonder what ada wants' I walked over to my wardrobe and what I saw shocked me I had only been here for so little time yet here was a full wardrobe with about fifty different dresses and ten pairs of trousers with matching undershirts and about ten tunics all baring the crest of Rivendale. I looked down only to be even more shocked there sitting were about ten pairs of leather boots and about fifty pairs of ballet shoes it looked like I had a pair of shoes for every outfit. 'I really need to thank the seamstresses when I next see them this must have taken ages'.

I quickly picked a dress which was a beautiful midnight blue dress which had sky blue details that wound their way up the dress. I pulled out the matching ballet flats and slipped them on. As I turned around I caught a look at myself in the mirror and realised I still hadn't done my hair. I sat down at the vanity table and picked up the brush and managed to pull my hair into a messy fish tale plat that fell over my right shoulder.

With my hair done I opened my door only to see Eladen standing in front of me with his fist raised as if to knock.

"Ah Tarellethiel I was just coming to get you father was worried you were lost but I assured him you had probably slept in or something."

"Well there's no need to worry i was just running a bit late."

"I see well I was wondering if you maybe wanted to spend some time after breakfast learning how to use a bow and arrow and a sword or knives. Oh as well as horse riding all things that will come in handy when knowledge alone cannot help you." He replied as we made our way to the dinning pavilion.

"Of course I'd love to but I need to speak to ada first Arwen said in the note that he wanted to speak with me." I said as we turned the corner that led to dinning pavilion.

"Ok just meet me at the training fields when you're done." He said as we sat down in the same seats as before. I looked around the table and instantly noticed to more people one was Snape and the other was that elf I met yesterday. Just as I looked over the elf-Legolas I think his name was-he looked up and we caught eyes before I looked away and started piling my plate with food.

After every one was finished ada beckoned me to follow which I did he lead me to the library and my eyes lit up at the sight, seeing this ada let out a small chuckle.

"Now I guess you're wondering what I wanted to speak to you about, well I thought it might be a good idea for you to go visit Lady Gladreiel of Lothlorien she's your mother's mother and I thought you might want to meet her, also I thought it might be a good idea for you to see more of this world as it is now your home. I was hoping your brothers would escort you however I've not asked them yet."

"I would love to and I can ask Eladen for you I am actually going to see him after we've finished here he's going to teach me how to use a bow and arrow and a sword or knives and ride a horse." I said my excitement for learning something new seeping into my voice making it bubbly and fast. Ada laughed at this and asked if I knew where I was meeting him and I knew how to get there and I replied,

"Im meeting him at the training grounds and I'll figure out how to get there eventually, bye"

"Bye dear" he called softly as I walked out of the library towards the training fields.

As I walked to the training grounds i couldn't help but be nervous what if I failed then they would never let me go anywhere and what if Eladen doesn't want to take me to see my grandmother 'wow that's strange I've never had a grandmother before I hope she likes me'

After about another ten minutes of walking I arrived at what I believe to be the training area I looked around to see Eladen and Elrorhir standing together. As I approached they quieted and I was unable to hear their conversation,

"Tarellethiel glad you could find your way here ready to start"

"yes but before we do since your both here may as well ask you now ada wanted to talk to me earlier and he suggested I go to visit our grandmother in lothlorien and he was wondering if you two would escort me their once our training is finished."

They looked between each other for a moment before Eladen spoke,

"we would love to escort you little sister it would be so much fun and we would get to see Haldir again we haven't seen him in ages, now back to the training aspect, what would you like to learn?"

"well I have basic training with a sword and a bow and arrow so I would like to practise these and I would like to learn how to use twin knives and I also already know how to ride a horse as I learnt when I was younger" I exclaimed my excitement becoming even more obvious as I listed off the things I knew how to do, sword wielding had been an extra course at Hogwarts I had taken it was supposed to help with wand control. I had learned archery and horse riding at a summer camp I went to before my mum and dad died.

"well then lets get started." Elrorhir said with excitement.

We spent the next couple of hours training.

A/N I don't really know anything about training in archery and all that stuff so im just going to imply that she is learning it.
