Ch. 5 The Oath
2 Days later when Artemis comes to pick her huntresses.
Tracy's POV
Thalia told me a to wait with the other huntresses by the Big House for Artemis to arrive. A silver light appeared. I looked away and when the light went away, I saw a 12 year old girl with auburn hair. She wore a silver jacket like the huntresses. I remember her from my dreams.
She smiled when she looked at me and turned to Thalia, "New Huntress?"
"Yes, Mi'Lady" Thalia bowed and so did all of the other huntresses. I bowed with them because I didn't want mean any disrespect.
"Tracy," The goddess said.
"Yes, Lady Artemis,"
"Do you accept eternal maidenhood and join the hunt?"
"Yes,"
"I pledge myself to the goddess of Artemis, I turn my back on the company of men, And accept eternal maidenhood." The huntresses said.
"I pledge myself to the goddess of Artemis, I turn my back on the company of men, And accept eternal maidenhood." I recited.
"I accept your pledge," Artemis says, "You are now a huntress."
The other huntress cheered.
"We are going hunt down the minotar next," Artemis says next.
