After Quinn confessed her feelings for Sam, things changed again between them. They spent the rest of the weekend together, not really doing many things. They just stayed in the townhouse, mainly in their bed. No, they were not just having sex. Sure that happened a couple of times but they spent their time more with cuddling, talking, and watching movies.

Monday came and Quinn finally had the chance to get out from the townhouse. After Sam left to the office, Quinn made her way to the Changs' place. Usually, on the weekend she would make a call to check on Melrose. But with Sam around, she couldn't do that. And that weekend, Sam basically attached himself to her all day so she couldn't check on her daughter. She was sure that Mel would throw a tantrum to her that day.

She finally arrived at the Changs' place around 15 minutes later. She knocked the door and greeted by a furious looking Mike.

Mike huffed. "Where have you been?"

Quinn knew this would happen so she tried to answer calmly. "I can explain—"

"You didn't call for two days! Did you know that she was crying all day long? She thought you're leaving her again!"

Quinn felt sick. She was spending a really good time with Sam when her daughter was scared. "I… I didn't… Where is she?" She didn't know what to say, she just wanted to see her daughter now.

Quinn was trying to make her way pass Mike but that guy was blocking her way. "Move aside! I need to see her!"

"No. Not a chance. You're not seeing her today."

Quinn shook her head. "What do you mean, Mike? You can't forbid me to see Mel. She's my daughter!"

"And you've been abandoning her again and again! You think she didn't remember that you left her for a whole two months and didn't call even once? You always said that Melrose is the only good thing that happened in your life but you didn't care about her!"

"Don't you dare to say that Mike! I put her first before everything so don't you say that I don't care about her."

Mike scoffed. "Really? You really care about her? Then why in the world you've been spending less time with her? To top it off, you didn't call for two days. Is that what a good mom did?"

Quinn was loss of words. She suddenly felt nauseous and tears were starting to form in her eyes. "Look Mike. Will you just let me in and explain everything please? I feel sick…"

"No—"

"Mike, please. I'm gonna throw up…"

"Are you even serious about that?" But when Mike saw Quinn clamped her hands in front of her mouth, he muttered, "Shit! Let's get you inside!"

He ushered Quinn to the nearest bathroom and the blonde wasted no time to throw up. Mike, being the brother he always was, held her hair and rubbed her back. Once he was sure that Quinn was done, he helped her up and flushed the toilet. He also handed Quinn the washcloth and toothbrush.

"You okay now?" he asked the pale looking blonde.

Quinn nodded. "Yeah… I'm just gonna brush my teeth and freshen up a bit."

"Okay. I'll make you some hot tea," he said as he left the bathroom.

Quinn splashed some cold water to her face. What happened, really? She then brushed her teeth and after she was sure she's okay, she emerged from the bathroom and went straight to the kitchen.

Mike saw her entering the kitchen. "There you go, sis," he said as he handed her the tea.

"Thanks," she received it and took a sip. She sat herself on the empty stool. "Hey, Mom," she greeted Lily who were also in the kitchen.

"Hello, Quinnie. Are you okay, dear? Mike said you threw up," the elder woman asked.

"I feel better. I don't know what happen though…"

Mike contemplated for a bit before he asked, "You're not pregnant, are you?"

Quinn shook her head. "I have my period starting this morning so…" she paused before she continued, "Where's Mel?"

"She's upstairs with Claire. She's been pretty clingy since Saturday night when you didn't call. She cried a lot," Lily explained.

"Oh God…"

"Where have you been, Quinnie?"

"I have lots to explain but can I see her first?"

"Sure you can, you know the way," Lily smiled at her.

Quinn excused herself from the kitchen then headed upstairs to her and Melrose's room. Upon arriving in front of the door, she could her Melrose's tiny wail and Claire's attempt to calm the little girl down.

"Come on, Mel. You need to eat your breakfast."

"I want Mommy…"

Quinn was in tears and she couldn't hold back anymore so she just opened the door and greeted her little girl. "Mommy's here, sweetie…"

The little girl looked up and immediately ran to her mom. "Mommy!"

"Hey, princess…" Quinn picked her up and held her tightly. "I'm sorry… I'm really sorry. I'm not leaving you again, kay?"

"Don't leave me, Mommy…"

"I won't. I promise," she said as she rubbed her daughter's back while the little girl tighten her little arms around Quinn's neck. "I'm sorry, baby. I'm really sorry."

Melrose kept crying in Quinn's arm. Quinn was also crying. She felt bad. She pulled back a little bit and used her hand to wipe her own tears and Mel's tears too. "Look at me, sweetie. I love you, more than anything. I'm sorry I made you scared, but I'm not doing it again, kay?"

Melrose nodded her head. "I love you too, Mommy…" she said as she went back to lop her arms around Quinn's neck, not wanting to let go of her mom again.

Quinn kissed the top of Melrose's head and she held her daughter tight again. They stayed like that for a while. After Quinn was sure that Melrose was calming down, she pulled back.

"You haven't eat breakfast, have you?" she asked the little girl. When she saw Melrose nodded she continued, "Why don't we eat some together? I'll make you something that you really want to eat. What do you want?"

"Bacon…"

Quinn smiled. It amused her that Melrose loved bacon as much as she (and Sam) did. "Alright. Bacon it is. Let's go to the kitchen."

The girl still hadn't let go of her so Quinn decided to pick her up. Melrose was a little small for a four-year-old, so she wasn't that heavy. She made her way downstairs to the kitchen and greeted by Lily, Mike, and Claire.

"Look! The princess has came!" Mike said, greeting his niece.

"I'm not a princess, Uncle Mike!" Melrose protested.

"But you are, honey," Quinn said. She knew that her daughter secretly loved to be called a princess cause she was smiling.

"Is Princess Melrose hungry?" Claire asked. When she saw Melrose nodded, she said, "Finally!"

Quinn shot her a questioning look so Claire explained, "Ever since Saturday, she always said she's not hungry and that she wanted to wait for her mommy."

"Is that so, sweetie?" Quinn turned to ask Melrose directly and the little girl nodded once again. "Baby, I can't always be here. The last two days, Mommy had something to do, so I couldn't check on you. That's my fault but at least you have to keep eating your meals. You can't starve yourself cause you'll get sick. You also have to listen to what Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Mike, Aunty Claire, and Aunty Tina said. What do I always said to you, honey?"

"Be a good girl for Mommy…" Melrose muttered. She pouted her mouth, slightly upset that her mom was mad at her.

"Were you being a good girl for the last two days?"

"No… Mommy, don't be mad!"

Quinn smiled at her daughter. "I'm not mad at you, honey. But next time, if you behave like this again, I'll get mad. Understand?"

Melrose nodded. "I'm sorry, Mommy. I love you."

"And I'm sorry too, baby. You know I love you."

Quinn spent the rest of the morning with her daughter attached to her almost every time. The little girl was still scared that Quinn would leave so she clings to Quinn all the time. But Quinn didn't mind though. After all, it was her fault and she loved spending time with her daughter.

Quinn made her breakfast, helped her to shower, and even took her to play at the playground not far from the Changs' place. Once they were back from playing, Quinn made mac and cheese, another Melrose's favorite meals, much to the little girl joy.

Spending time with her mom excited and exhausted her so it wasn't to surprising that when they were watching Cinderella after lunch, the little girl dozed off to sleep. Quinn carried Melrose back to their room upstairs. She tucked her daughter in bed, kissed her forehead, then went back to the living room where the family waited for her.

"Okay, now that the little devil is sleeping, spill the beans, Quinn," Mike said once Quinn settled herself in the couch again.

"Alright… Well, this gonna take a lifetime to tell," she paused and sighed before she continued to talk. "I met his parents."

"WHAT?! Are you nuts?" Mike exclaimed.

"You've gotta be kidding me…" Claire said in disbelief.

"No, I'm not. I met both Dwight and Mary Evans last Friday," Quinn said.

"Quinn! What are you thinking? This is so messed up. You haven't even met Russell and Judy Fabray yet!" Mike said furiously.

"It's not like I want this to happen, okay? When I arrived at the townhouse, Sam was already there. He said he wanted to take me on a date, which turned out to be a dinner party with his dad's colleague. I said no, but he said that my 'parents' couldn't be there so they needed me to come."

"What exactly happened when you met his parents?"

"Well… I talked with his mom. Mary was such a nice person. I think she likes me… a lot. She asked me how did I make Sam to fall in love with me cause she can see it. She also told me that… that I'm… I'm in love with him."

"Told you. It's obvious," Mike smirked. "Go on."

"She also said that she wanted to see us got married soon and blessed her with grandkids…"

"Well, she already had one. Did you tell her that?"

"Of course not, you dumb! But that's… not the dangerous part of it."

"What do you mean, Quinnie? Meeting his parents is dangerous enough," Lily questioned her daughter.

Quinn took a really deep breath before she spilled the beans. "I told Sam I love him."

There was a dead silence after Quinn broke the news. The silence was painful for her so she decided to speak again. "Can any of you say something please…"

Mike shook her head. "I know I teased you a lot. I know you love him. But do you really have to say it to him?"

"You know I can't lie about my feelings, right?"

"Then why didn't you call for two days?"

"I would call if we went outside but we spent those two days at the townhouse…"

"Ewh, gross. Come on. Let's get you out from that townhouse."

"What? No, Mike! I can't do that!"

"Why? Quinn, this is getting more dangerous. I need to remind you that you wanted to know about the existence of the Fabray, not to search for love!"

"I can't help it, okay? He's so nice to me and it feels really good. No one ever made me feel this way except him…"

"Are you sure you're not just feeling this because he's Mel's dad?" Lily asked.

Quinn shook her head. "I've been having this funny feelings in my stomach every time I'm near him since the very beginning. Is that what they called love at first sight?"

"I don't know. Never experience that before. Maybe you should ask Sam," Mike said defeated.

"Yeah, that's why I should stay with him," Quinn muttered.

"How long are you planning to stay with him, Quinnie? Now that you have those feelings for him, it would be too painful when it ends, especially if you let it go on for too long," Lily asked.

"Not only painful for you but for him too," Claire chimed in.

"Oh God…" Realization drawn to Quinn: she never thought of that before. "Look, I'll try to finish everything before Mel's school start, which means I have—"

"Three weeks," Claire cut her off. "You have three more weeks, Quinn."

"Okay. After three weeks, all of this will end. And if needed, I'll leave Sam Evans."

"Maybe a little faster than three weeks, sis," Mike suggested.

"I'll try my best, okay?"

Just as Mike about to talk again, they heard a tiny wail approaching them.

"Mommy? Where's Mommy?" Melrose cried as she walked to living room.

Quinn turned around and approached her daughter. "Hey, sweetie," she said as she picked her up. "I'm here. Don't worry, Mommy's not leaving you."

Just like earlier, the little girl tighten her arms around Quinn's neck. "Don't leave, Mommy…," she said as she buried her face on the crook of Quinn's neck.

"No, I'm not leaving. Why you awake, sweetie?"

"I want Mommy…"

"And Mommy's here," Quinn said as she rubbed Melrose's back. "Do you wanna go back to sleep? I promise I won't leave your side."

"I'm not sleepy," Melrose said but as she said that, she yawned.

Quinn chuckled. "Come on. Let's get back to bed."

Quinn proceeded to carry her daughter to their bedroom upstairs. She tucked Melrose in the bed, then laid down beside her.

"Mommy?"

"Yes, sweetie?"

"Where's Daddy?" the little girl asked. "I want to meet him."

"He's still working, sweetie," Quinn said as she ran her hand through her daughter's long blonde hair.

"When he's coming back?"

"I'm not sure. I'll ask him, kay?"

Melrose nodded. "Are you going to stay the night?"

Quinn already knew the answer to this but looking at her little girl right now, she decided to change her mind. "I will."

"Really?" There was excitement in the tone of Melrose's voice and it made Quinn smiled.

"I promise," Quinn said as she kissed Mel's forehead. "Now, take a nap. And maybe we can go to the playground again later. How's that sound?"

"Good. I love you, Mommy."

"I love you too, sweetie."

Quinn watched as Melrose drifted off to sleep. Just as she began to doze off too, she felt her phone vibrate; signaling that there was a text message came. She opened her phone and read the text. It was from Sam.

Hey baby!
I would've called if I'm not in the middle of meeting.
I just want to tell you that I'll be home late.
Sorry bout that.
But I'll see ya soon, kay?
Love you.

Quinn read the text carefully and felt relieved that Sam won't be home until late. Looking at her daughter's condition right now, she knew she couldn't leave. To top it off, she already promised that she would stay the night. She couldn't break her baby's heart again. She was just gone for two days without calling and Melrose had been so clingy all day. What would happen if Quinn left again now?

She sighed and she turned off her phone before setting it down on the bedside table. She has decided that at least until tomorrow morning, she would only focused on Melrose and that Sam could wait.

Hey everyone. So, lots of Quinn and Melrose in this one. Sorry for the lack of Sam but he'll appear more in the next chapter(s). And now that Quinn only have three weeks left, everything will get more complicated. And... the revelation scene will come. Real soon. So stick around ;)

RJRRAA: Hello there! Thanks for the review. You know what, I'm worried about the same thing too. Since the very first time I wrote this story, I already imagined on how Sam will react when he found out the truth. It was already perfect in my mind but as the story goes by, my visions of it changes. I still don't know on how to write it yet but you know, when he did find out, it would be a mess. Just a little hint there ;) Anyway, thank you for reading. Hope you'll enjoy this one :)

Guest: Hey there! Thanks for dropping by and thanks for the review too. Your wish came true! We have lots of Melrose in this one. And since she's the daughter of Quinn (and Sam) we'll see her more in the upcoming chapter(s). So stick around! Hope you'll enjoy this one :)

Em: Hey there! Thanks for the review. Cute, right? I love it when they're being all cute like that. At one point of this story, that will happen. I don't know when, I don't know how, but it will happen. But there'll be lots of things happening here before that happened. So stick around! Thank you for reading and hope you'll enjoy this one too :)

Kera: Hello there! Thanks for the review. Thank you so much for that. I'm flattered and I really appreciate it :) Oh, finally, a fellow Orphan Black fan! I can't wait for the second season. It's painful that we have to wait till April. Ugh. But we can survive that ;) I think Sam's reaction when he found out worries everyone. It worries me too. It would be a mess though, when he found out. I think that part when he found out will be the most depressing chapter of this story :\ Anyway, thanks for reading. Hope you'll enjoy this one :)

SamEvans17: Hello there! Thanks for the review. I'm really glad you love it. Hope you'll enjoy this one too :)

Overgron: Hello there! Thanks for the review. Thank you so much for that. I'm flattered :) 'Date in Paradise' is my baby. It's just... it's really complicated to write that. I'll get back to it. And don't worry about the bad English. It's not my first language too. Anyway, thanks for reading this story and hope you'll enjoy this one too :)

Anyway, I want to thank everyone for reading this story. Leave me some reviews. Tell me, whether you like it or hate it. Criticisms and questions are welcome too. I'll try to update soon. See ya! :)
