The sound of someone flushing down the toilet woke Tina up. She was straightened up herself when she saw Quinn emerged from the bathroom and went to the living room where Tina slept.

"Morning, Tee," the blonde greeted with a hoarse voice.

"Morning, Quinn," replied the Asian girl as she rubbed her eyes. "Whoa, Quinn. You look awful. Did you even sleep?"

"I do feel awful," Quinn said as slumped her body on the couch that wasn't occupied by Tina. "I couldn't sleep and I couldn't stop crying. And when I finally drifted off to sleep, I felt like throwing up. That was the third time." Quinn sighed and she grabbed the pillow nearby then hugged it. "I'm just so tired…"

"Do you need anything?"

"No, thanks. I just wanna sleep. But I can't. This food poisoning is pure torture."

"Are you still going with the food poisoning, Quinn? It sounds more like a morning sickness to me."

Quinn shook her head. "Tee, I just had my period. I can't be pregnant."

"But is it normal or light just like spotting? I never been pregnant but I do have a few friends that did. Some of them still experience some spotting during the time they should have their period then they discovered that they're pregnant."

"Really?" The blonde raised her eyebrows. "It can't be though. When I was pregnant with Mel, I missed my period completely…"

"It's just a possibility," Tina shrugged. "Can I ask you something though? It's a bit personal…" When she saw the blonde nodded, she proceeded with her question, "Are you on birth control? Is Sam using protection all the time?"

Once again, Quinn shook her head. "I never used any birth control cause… I don't think I'll sleep with someone again. And I'm pretty sure he never uses protection…" she trailed off. "Tee, I can't be pregnant."

"There's only one way to find out," Tina said as she moved herself to the cabinet near the kitchen. She rummaged around for a while then came back to Quinn, with her hand holding something. "Use this," she said as she gave whatever she was holding to Quinn.

Quinn took it and her eyes widened when she realized what was it. "You keep this in your cabinet?"

Tina just shrugged. "You'll never know when you need it."

"Tee…"

"Just use it, okay? It's the only way to find out. And if you still don't trust the test, you can go to the hospital."

Quinn stayed silent for a while that Tina thought the blonde fell asleep when suddenly she opened her mouth. "What if I'm pregnant? What am I gonna do if I'm pregnant?"

Tina placed herself next to Quinn and wrapped an arm around the blonde's shoulder. "Well… at least you know who the dad is this time."

"Who doesn't love me and doesn't even want to see me again which also happens to be the father of my daughter," Quinn said as she buried her head on her hands. She could feel tears starting to come out. "What am I gonna do, Tee? I couldn't give it away so I have to keep it but I can't. And if I keep this baby, how am I gonna explain all of this to Mel? I need to abort this—"

"Whoa, hey, Quinn! Let's not get ahead of yourself, kay? We still don't know for sure if you're pregnant or not. So, take the test and we'll figure everything out after."

Quinn unburied herself then, her face was full of tears. "I just wish that he's with me right now… when I need him the most. And I… I miss him so much."

"Quinn, you'll be fine, kay? Now, take the test and you'll get back to sleep after that. Melrose is coming later, you wouldn't want her to see you like this, right?"

Quinn just nodded her head and started to get up. Before she made her way to the bathroom, she turned to Tina and whispered, "Wish me luck, Tee…"

"Morning," Sam greeted his parents as he went to the dining room where his parents were preparing to have breakfast. He was too tired to actually made his way back to his place so he just decided to crash on his parents' house last night and stayed in his old bedroom.

"Oh, you're up already. I was just about to go upstairs and wake you, Sam," Mary said as she placed the pancakes she just made on the table. That was when she glanced up and finally looked at her son's face. "Oh dear. Do you even sleep, Sam?"

Sam shook his head. "I can't." He ran a hand on his hair. "Is it weird that I miss having her in my arms? Like… having her resting her head on my chest and having my arm around her shoulder as she sleep?"

Mary offered him a soft smile. "It's not weird at all, honey."

"I… I'm worried as hell last night. I mean, remember when I took the day off cause 'Lucy' is missing? The real Lucy often went on trips for a few days and I don't really care, I don't know why. But Quinn…"

"Sam honey, you're in love with Quinn. That's why."

"But that's because I thought she was Lucy, Mom!"

"But she's not. And even if they're twins, they're different." Mary started to pass on the pancakes onto the plates in front of her as she continued, "I am actually surprised that you couldn't tell that Quinn's not Lucy."

Sam scoffed. "You and Dad couldn't tell too. They look the same!"

"We couldn't tell because they practically acted the same in front of us. You're the one who lives with her for like, what, two months? And you've been with Lucy for two years," Dwight elaborated. "I'm sure there were differences, like, the way she kisses you or something."

"It was different, Dad. I noticed that. But I just think that maybe she changed? If I knew that she had a twin sister, I would've suspect that already. But as far as I knew, Lucy was the only daughter of Russell and Judy," Sam explained. "And I like those changes with her."

"You're blinded by Quinn's charm, Sam. And I gotta tell you, she's pretty charming," Mary gave him a smile.

"In other words, you're whipped," Dwight added.

Sam groaned. "Dad, you're not helping."

"Now son, tell me what you feel."

Sam let out a sigh. "I… I feel like crap. I feel awful. Like, I shouldn't kick her out. She told me she was sorry and that she loves me, she needs me but I didn't listen to her. I just told her to get out and that I don't wanna see her again… when I do wanna see her again. I really do."

Dwight smiled to his son. "You need to find her and talk to her, son. That's the answer for everything."

"But how?"

"You have her phone, right? You might find something you need there," Dwight said as he finally began to pick up his fork. "Now, let's have our breakfast, shall we?"

"Mommy!"

The sound of her little girl excitedly calling her managed to boost up Quinn's energy. A huge smile appeared on her face as she caught her daughter that apparently had run to her mother the moment she stepped in to Tina's apartment.

"My baby princess!" Quinn pulled her daughter into her embrace. She hugged her tightly. "I miss you."

Melrose wrapped her little arms around her mom's neck. "Miss you too, Mommy. Are you okay? Uncle Mike said you're sick."

Quinn couldn't help but smile at her daughter's question. Melrose had always been protective of her own mother, ever since she was little. "I'm better, honey. All thanks to you."

"I'm glad," Melrose replied as she kissed her mom's cheek. "I made a card for Mommy."

"Really?"

The little girl nodded her head vigorously as she rummaged on the little backpack she had been wearing. She pulled out two drawings and gave it to her mom. "It's for Mommy!"

"Well, thank you, honey," Quinn kissed Melrose's forehead as she took the drawings. One of it was indeed a card with little flowers and stars drawing. The other one was… "Did you make another family picture, honey?" Quinn felt her voice quiver.

Melrose seemed oblivious of her mom's uneasiness and nodded her head enthusiastically. "Yeah! I miss you, Mommy. I miss Daddy too. So Uncle Mike told me to just draw you and Daddy! What do you think, Mommy?"

"It's pretty, honey," Quinn said as she held back some tears. "Hey, you brought your things for sleepover, right? Why don't you settle that in the bedroom? You can ask Aunty Tina to help."

"Okay," Melrose said as she scrambled down from Quinn's lap. "But what about Mommy?"

"I'll be there soon. I just… need to talk with Uncle Mike first. Okay, sweetie?"

The little girl just nodded her head then grabbed Tina's hand and dragged her aunty to the bedroom.

When Mike saw them disappearing from their sight, he approached his sister. "So… what do you want to talk about?"

Quinn took a breath. She was contemplating on how to break the news to her brother but Mike kinda teased her a lot about this so she decided to just blurt it out. "I'm pregnant."

Mike's jaw fell. "I… wow. Congratulations?"

Quinn didn't say anything for a while. She let her tears fell instead. "I don't know what to do…"

"Hey, hey. Why are you crying? Pregnancy should be a happy thing, right? You said that when you got pregnant with Mel back then," Mike said as he rubbed his sister's back.

"I'm happy… I really am. But I can't keep it, Mike. I need to abort this but I can't do that too."

"Whoa, why do you need to abort that?"

"If I keep it, how am I supposed to explain everything to Mel? Her dad's not even here. She's going to have more questions than before and I won't know how to explain it to her."

"I think you need to talk with Sam about this."

"I don't even know how to do that…"

"We'll figure it out, kay? Everything will be fine, Quinn. I promise."

Quinn nodded and leaned her head on Mike's shoulder. "Don't tell this to anyone yet, kay? You and Tina are the only one that know about this."

Mike didn't know why Quinn wanted to keep it as a secret but he agreed on his sister's request. "Not gonna tell anyone. Don't worry," he assured her. "By the way, you have a doctor appointment already?"

"Thank you," she replied. "Well, both lab and doctor appointment in two days. Why?"

"Lab appointment? Why do you need that?"

"To make sure that I'm really pregnant and not embarrass myself in front of the OB/GYN doctor if it was a false alarm?"

"Aren't the test accurate?" Mike asked obviously confused.

"Just wanna make sure, Mike. That's all."

"You want me or Tina to come with you? You might need someone to be there with you, you know."

Quinn shook her head. "I can go alone. Besides, I need both of you to keep Mel entertained while I'm out. Is that okay?"

"Sure, that's fine. Hey, Quinn?"

"Hmm?"

"I think you really need to talk with Sam. Not only about your relationship with him. You guys have a daughter for God's sake. And another one on the way. You need him in your life."

"I miss him so much, Mike. You don't know…"

"Believe me, I know you do. It's written all over your face," he smiled at her and wiped her tears. "Come on, wipe that off. You wouldn't want Mel to see you like this, right?"

Sam went back to his place after lunch. His parents insisted him to stay longer but Sam just wanted to be back in his place. When he arrived, he proceeded to the garage and took some boxes. He knew he needed to start packing Lucy's things as soon as possible and he decided that he did it now.

He went to the bedroom and straight to the walk-in-closet. It was partially empty already, since Quinn had took all of her belongings with her and Lucy never been the shopaholic type so she didn't really had that many clothes. He started to pack Lucy's clothes, but he left some that he knew Quinn wore before.

It was when Sam started to clear her drawer when he found it. There was a letter. He read the envelope and there was a 'Dear Sam' written in it. He stopped everything that he had been doing that time and settled himself on the bed.

He didn't know what happened but his hands were shaking when he opened the envelope. He pulled out the paper and the moment he started reading, he felt his jaw dropped.

He ran his hand on his hair a couple of times during the time he read it. He couldn't believe any of that. If he was confused before, he was frustrated by now. He knew he needed to talk about all of this with Quinn, but the problem was… he wasn't ready.

Sam pulled his phone out from his pocket then pulled out Quinn's phone that he had kept in his pocket since the day before. He scrolled down Quinn's phonebook and when he found the number he needed, he put the number on his own phone and dialed it.

"Hello? Who's this?" said the person on the other line once they picked it up.

"Hey… uh… this is Sam… Evans. Think we can—"

"Wait, who? Give me a sec," said the person. Sam heard some shuffling sound and a door creaked open then closed nearly a second later. "Sam Evans you said?"

"Yeah… think we can grab a drink and talk? There's lots I need to talk with you."

"Can't tonight, dude. How about tomorrow?"

"That's fine. So, um… Lima Bean at 10?"

"I'll be there."

"Sam Evans?"

Sam was in the middle of stirring his cappuccino when he heard someone called his name. He glanced up and then stood up to greet the person. "You must be Mike Chang."

The person, who turned out to be Mike, smiled. "I am," he settled himself and gestured Sam to do the same. "Whoa, no wonder Quinn went all crazy once she found out about your identity. Melrose looks like both of you so much."

Sam didn't know how to respond so he just let out a small nervous chuckle. "So… how's Quinn doing?"

Mike took a sip of his cappuccino. "She's a mess. I've never seen her like that before. She was just so broken and it hurts me to see her like that. Thank God Melrose always managed to keep her sane, you know," Mike told Sam. "How about you, dude? From what I saw, you're not better than her."

"I feel like crap. I miss her so much."

"Believe me, she misses you too. And your daughter misses you too, tho she never met you before," Mike said as he took another sip of his cappuccino. "You told me you wanted to talk and I know those things weren't the things you want to talk about. So what is it?"

Sam took a deep breath before he spilled everything. He told Mike about what he did after Quinn left (Mike corrected, 'You kicked her out'). He told him that he went to the train station, then to the police station, then to Lucy's grave, then back to the townhouse before he went to his parents'. He also told Mike about the letter he just found. "I think you might want to read this," he said as he handed the letter to Mike.

Mike took the letter then he started reading and he felt his jaw dropped with every sentence he read.

Dear Sam,
Hey. If you find this letter, it means that I'm not longer in this world. I know it's strange but… I had to do this.
Sam, you must've known for a while that I'm not the fist love you've been looking for. Call it a fate, I found her. A couple of months ago, I saw this girl. She looks exactly like me. I knew that I don't have a sister, moreover a twin sister, so I decided to find out. And it turns out that she's indeed my twin sister. Her name is Quinn. If you saw a box in the closet, you'll find out more about her.
But that's not the only thing I want to tell you. I followed her for a while and then I saw a little girl with her. She looks like her a lot (which means she looks like me too), and that's how I concluded that she's Quinn's daughter. But not only that. On that little girl's face, I saw you too. Then I realized that… when you met Quinn all those years ago, you did not only meet your first love. You also conceived a daughter together.
Sam, I love you. I really do. But I know that you never loved me. I know you tried, but you just couldn't love me. I didn't know the reason why but now I know why. It's because I'm not Quinn. I'm not the first love you wanted.
That's why I'm doing this. I'm giving you a chance. A chance to be with the person you love, to be with your daughter.
Go find her. Be with her. You deserve to be happy, Sam. And your happiness is with Quinn and your daughter, not with me.
You don't need to feel guilty. I'm happy, I really am.
Ps: If you meet my parents, please ask them why in the world they separated me with my twin sister at birth.

With all my love,
Lucy

Mike was at a loss of words by the time he finished reading the letter. He took a glance at Sam. "So… this is the reason behind everything."

"Yeah… can you believe that?" Sam said as he drank his coffee.

"She's giving not just you, but also Quinn, a chance to be happy together. Dude, you and Quinn really need to talk."

"I want that too, you know. That's why I called you."

"Well… she has a doctor appointment tomorrow at 10. You can meet her at the hospital if you want."

"Hospital? Is she sick?" Sam furrowed his eyebrows.

Mike didn't really want to tell Sam the news, he wanted Quinn to tell Sam herself but Sam would find out eventually so he thought why not. "Sam, Quinn's pregnant."

Sam's jaw dropped. "For real?"

"You noticed that lately she's been sick, right? She claimed it to be food poisoning but she took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was positive. She's going to confirm everything tomorrow."

Sam didn't say anything for a while. "I… have another kid on the way?"

"You do. And Quinn was already thinking about abortion yesterday so you should really meet her at the hospital tomorrow."

"Whoa, why she would want to abort the baby?"

"She didn't want to confuse Mel. That's why."

"You think I could change her mind? What if she doesn't want to talk with me?"

"You would change her mind. And I think, once she saw you tomorrow, she would jump into your arms and not letting you go."

Sam chuckled. "Quinn's lucky to have a brother like you."

"And she's even luckier cause she has someone like you."

"I love her."

"I know. I can see it," Mike said as he stood up. "Hate to break it to you, buddy. But I promised Tina that I would be back for lunch. So, I expect you to come and rescue my sister tomorrow?"

"You can count on me. Thank you, Mike."

"You're very welcome, Sam."
