Chapter.21
I never put it in the description, but this story was in fact on hold for my other story but I now have writers block for that one so I will bring this story out of hold until further notice.

"Why is it that you were following me?" Kagome asked calmly.

"Bankotsu hired me to follow you 'cause he said he was paparazzi and was gonna pay me extra to help him and let me keep the pics." The man said as he fidgeted nervously.

"Do you not know who that man was?" Kagome asked holding back her anger.

"N-no! When he came and offered me the job was the first time I've ever seen the guy!" The man said panicking , not wanting a repeat of what happened to bankotsu.

"How much did he offer you?" Kagome asked.

"$100,000 dollars. I thought it was a lot considering it's never hard to find you, but I didn't say nothin'. I needed the money." the man replied.

"A man with that amount of money and urgency to find me, did it not cross your mind to do a little research? It wouldn't have mattered anyway 'cause you still would've done the job regardless!" Kagome said fuming.

"What's all the fuss about all I did was help the guy! He scratched my back so I scratched his lady!" The man said not seeing what was wrong.

"That man outside my house almost beat me to death not even two weeks ago! He is my ex-husband! It was all over the news not even 3 days ago! Being part of the paparazzi wouldn't you know that! Didn't any red flags go off in that dumb head of yours when he was drinking so much?!" Kagome fumed.

"Damn lady! I didn't know! Im barely a beginner! I don't pay attention to anything that goes on around here man! Much less watch or read the news! I'm outside all day watching either your ass or Sango's doing whatever the hell you guys are doing!" The guy fumed back.

Sesshomaru, after being in the back watching the exchange, spoke up.

"Kagome, you forget that the only thing the paparazzi care about is money. This man lies when he says he didn't know." Sesshomaru said with a bit of anger in his tone.

"You piece of shit! I should have your ass sued! But you know what? I won't. I will though, let your boss know what happened. Along with that I will also let your boss know that, should we have a repeat either with me or anyone else, I will personally shut down whatever company you work for." Kagome said in a deathly calm voice.

"Give me your camera." Kagome said sternly.

"What no! Those pictures are worth money!" The man said holding on to his camera with a death grip.

"Give me the camera." Her voice held no place for arguments.

Relunctedly the man handed her his camera and watched as she proceeded to go through his pictures and delete them. Sesshomaru watching calmy, thought on why she was deleting the pictures. 'Are you that idiotic? She's clearly deleting the pictures of her kissing you on the cheek. She's famous, she doesn't want her reputation ruined by you. But, why walk with me in public in our daylight where everyone can and was watching us? That can't be it can it..?' Sesshomaru's heart stung with where his thoughts were going but soon realized that it shouldn't hurt. 'Even if it wasn't that, we could never be. She's famous, I'm not. She's busy all the time and probably already has a famous boyfriend.' His heart felt heavy with that realization, he needed time to get rid of his fast growing emotions for the girl. 'I'll leave when that thing leaves.' Sesshomaru thought bitterly as he looked at the man that helped Bankotsu find her.

"Here. Be lucky I didn't break the goddamn thing." Kagome said as she gave the man back his camera.

"Your name." She said sternly.

Eyeing the man that he realized could point him out in his lies, he sighed and told her his name.

"Shashinki Kam." Shashinki said stubbornly.

"Person you work for." She said.

"Papara Tachi." Shashinki said.

"You may go now. Never go near my house again or there will be consequences to pay, understood?" She said with stoic voice. Shashinki catching the hidden meaning behind her words, nodded his head.

"Yes ma'am." He replied and took his leave. Turning to Sesshomaru, Kagome took a couple steps to close the distance and embraced the inu in a tight hug.

"Thankyou Sesshomaru." She said but it came muffled to his ears as he was silently having a battle with his mixed emotions in being embraced by the little ona. So instead chose to embrace her small body and stay quiet.

"Can you stay with me tonight.. please..?" She said and she shook a little bit in his hold. Something tugging at him in the back of his mind told his instincts to stay and comfort her. He had the time anyways, he could afford to be late to work tomorrow if it came to it.

"I don't see why not." He said softly as he nuzzled the top of her head.

"Thankyou Sess. For everything and for staying." She said as she looked up and gave him another kiss on the cheek. Sending his mind buzzing, eventually he just chose to let it go and do as his mind pleased. He found himself being led up 4 flights of stairs to her room. His eyes widened a bit from how huge her room was but then widened even more when he realized that she meant stay the entire night, and not just for a couple more hours. He watched as she led him to her bed and had him sit and then watched as she walked into her walk in closet. She came out wearing an oversized shirt. His eyes roamed her body as the shirt did not hide her legs or the fact that she wasn't wearing a bra. He noticed that she was standing infront of him and looking at him expectantly.

"Having fun?" She asked amused.

"I could be." He replied with a smirk.

"Hmm, I got these out for you. I don't know if you like sleeping in your underwear like me so brought out some of my brothers pajamas for you." She said smiled softly as she handed him the pajama pants and shirt.

"You wouldn't mind if I slept in my boxers only?" He asked out of respect for her, releazing she wanted him to sleep with her and not a guest room.

"So long as you don't mind me doing it." She said with a smile.

"You would let a complete stranger sleep next to you in his boxers only?" He asked slightly confused and amused.

"No. But I trust you, and I've know you for a few days and you don't seem to have any bad intentions with me. If you're gonna steal just don't take my charger. I could care less about anything else in this house." She said playfully but completely honest.

"I wouldn't steal how dare you insult me!" He said feigning hurt.

"I know punk. Like I said I trust you." She said with a bit of I smirk. She then walked off and towards her bedroom door stopping, to look at him.

"Want anything from the kitchen? I'm gonna bring some water cause I tend to wake up in the middle of the night thirsty." She asked.

"An extra glass for me, please. Thank you." He said after giving it some thought.
"Mkaay." She said as she walked off. Coming back a couple minutes later with two glasses of water, setting them on either side of the bed on the bedposts.

"You haven't changed?" She asked confused. He didn't reply, only got up and grabbed her hand and placed her at the foot of the bed and sat her down. His eyes met with her questioning gaze and he then lowered them and then proceeded to step back and slowly start taking off his clothes. Kagome immediately blushed, her whole face turning red as she realized exactly what he was doing.

Her eyes flowed the lines of his perfectly sculpted body, and watched as he teasingly unbuttoned his shirt and caught his gaze. She bit her bottom lip and she then watched as he slowly let the shirt drop from his shoulders and hit the ground. Her eyes followed the way his hands started to unbutton his pants and she covered her eyes blushing furiously. Having been watching her the whole time he could smell her arousal growing and smirked as she covered her eyes. He slowly made his way towards her and grabbed each hand and placed them of either side of his pants and put a finger under her chin and made her face him. He didn't know exactly what got into him but when she walked in he felt the urge to tease her, so he did.

"I seem to require assistance little onna." He said as he smirked and flashed a pearly white fang. At this she blushed even harder but an evil thought crept into her mind and she smirked evilly.

"Oh do you now? I believe I can help." Oh gods what was she doing? What is she getting herself into? She didn't know but she knew she was going to like it.
