Lilith had her SMG aimed at the white haired woman, who was looking at the red head with an amused smile. Maya could now see the tattoos that covered the woman's chest and left arm. She was a Siren like herself and Lilith. "Lilith, Who is she? I thought we were the only Sirens on pandora after Angel died?" Maya said as she slowly stepped towards her friend. "She was the commander of The Crimson Lance, before she got eaten by The Destroyer six years ago," the red head said, tightening her grip on her weapon.

"Child, put the weapon down. It won't do you any good," Steele said, slowly stepping towards them. Lilith abruptly shoved her gun into Maya's hands and nearly yelled, "Fine. I'll just beat the shit out of you." Maya watched, dumbfounded, as Lilith vanished with her Phasewalk, and reappeared, inside a small fireball, behind Steele. The older Siren effortlessly brushed aside Lilith's fist and caught her in a choke hold. She forced her onto her knees, while tightening her hold. "We Sirens are so few, let's not fight over a past misunderstanding," she whispered into Lilith's ear. "When you wake, we are going to have a nice civilized conversation." Lilith let out a quiet breath as her eyes rolled back in her head, and then she went limp in Steele's arms.

She tossed the sleeping woman over her shoulder and walked up to Maya. "Is there a secure place we can talk?" Steele asked Maya who stumbled over herself to find the right words. "Yea. We can head back to Sanctuary." "Very good, Maya. Lead the way." As they made their way through Lynchwood, Maya asked a question that had been grating at the back of her mind. "Do you mind if I ask you something?" she said as she checked if the street was clear. "What is it?" They ducted into a alleyway as a group of bandits left a building down the street. "Back at the shuttle, how did you know my name? We've never met before." Steele laid Lilith's unconscious body on the ground and stretched slightly. "When I was in the Crimson Lance, I used Atlas resources to track down and follow my fellow Sirens, including yourself and the others. It was a bit of a hobby of mine." "Street's clear, Do you know everything about all of us?" Maya asked as they moved through the streets. "I know you were an orphan, raised by monks, and ran away after killing those monks. What I don't know is why Hyperion brought me back, or why this shit hole of a planet is a beacon for Sirens." They reached the steps leading to the Fast travel point with out another word and set out for Sanctuary.

Steele stepped up to the Fast travel point and when Maya didn't join her she looked at her younger companion. "You go on ahead. I've got a quest to finish. Just talk to Moxxi. She'll set you up," Maya said as she checked her weapon. "Moxxi? Moxxi Hodunk is still alive?" Maya gave her a curious look before saying, "Yea. She runs the bar. Was there something between the two of you?" Steele smiled slightly. "That is not really your business, child," she said as she activated the Fast travel point. Maya was left to ponder that statement, but shrugged and headed off to have some fun with the sherif.

Standing in the center of Sanctuary, Steele looked out of place. She still had Lilith thrown over her shoulder, and was attracting odd looks from the townspeople. She laid Lilith on a bench and set out in search of Moxxi. It wasn't hard to find the bar. The giant signs were pretty obvious. She stepped through the front door and looked around the nearly empty bar. The few people who were in the bar looked the pale woman over with curious glances.

Steele slowly made her way to the bar when the sexy MILF stepped out behind the counter. "What can I get you... What are you doing here?" she said in awe. "I heard you were dead, eaten by that giant inter dimensional vagina." Steele sat at the bar and was surprised when she felt a smile form on her face. She hadn't smiled in years. "Something like that. I see a lot has changed." Moxxi laughed and poured a drink for the pale woman, and one for herself. "First a toast. To changes," she said as she raised her glass. Steele hesitated a moment before raising her own glass. "To changes," she said and they both downed their shots.
