It had been a few days and Joe was tired. He hadn't slept in days, and it seemed like they weren't going to be able to find Anna's brother. They were still at Carson's house and the girls were slowly packing away some of his things and donating clothes to charities. He walked into the kitchen and found his wife leaning against the island and drinking some water as she stared at the photos that covered the fridge and walls. She didn't even hear her husband behind her. She was lost in thoughts. Joe cleared his throat, "Anna?"

She turned around and gave him a small fragile smile, "sorry I didn't hear you."

He nodded and leaned beside her, "you okay?" She nodded sitting her water down beside her and wrapping her arms around herself, "as okay as I can be. My whole life I have dealt with death. I am almost numb to it all now."

Joe sucked in air and closed his eyes as her words cut through them, "baby, please tell me what to do to help?" Anna turned to him, "find him. Find my sick twisted brother."

"Trust me; we are looking with everything we got. We just can't find him."

"Sometimes the most obvious place that something is hidden is right under your nose." Anna shook her head, "that is the thought that scares me most." Joe pulled his wife into his arms and held her tight. "I love you, and no one will hurt our family, not anymore." Anna nodded and cried against him.

Nancy wiped the tear sliding down her face and turned away from the kitchen walking into the living room. It killed her how much Anna was hurting. They were all hurting. Nancy was beginning to wonder if it was always going to be one thing after another.

"Nan, stop blaming yourself." Nancy towards to the voice and tried to give her husband a smile, "who says I'm blaming myself." He hugged her kissing her forehead, "I am. Now the way I see it is you are a Drew and a Hardy. Help me find this guy."

Nancy pulled back and gave him a puzzled look, "I thought you wanted Anna and me out of it." Frank nodded, "I know but we keep hitting dead ends. I need you." Nancy smiled for once she was feeling better. She could do this. She could find this guy for her, for Anna, for her family. Nancy had lost her way a lot. She was lost but now it was time to find herself, find Anna's brother, and help everyone find their happiness.

I know this is short, and I know I have been absent. I had a baby and it's been an INSANE year. I am back. But please be patient with me. I might be slow. I am caring for a baby after all ;) Please please please review.
