Star Gazer's warning gave the three Alicorns enough time to jump out of the way as one of the dark Pegasi slammed into the ground full-force. Princess Celestia gasped as it stood unharmed and ready to pounce and lit up her horn for defense along with Luna, shielding Melody.

The taller Alicorn whispered to the turquoise-colored princess, "Melody, you and your friends must go and retreat to the Everfree Forest through that secret door between the two columns. You must find our old castle and retrieve the secret Element!"

"But, Princess, what is the El…" Melody began.

Suddenly, eight more intruders appeared and snarled with threating tones. Celestia turned to her and said in a stern tone, "Now!"

The seven friends looked at each other and realized they had no choice. They immediately galloped to the secret door with Reef on their tails while their parents stayed to help fight. The young fillies and colts huddled under the staircase, shaking with fear.

Flash Sentry, Soarin and Rainbow Dash darted at a couple of the Pegasi and punched them in the jaws, knocking them out. Applejack and Big Mac bucked anyone within their range with their hind legs. Rarity, Twilight, Fancy Pants, and Shining Armor blasted every one that came their way with their unicorn magic along with Celestia and Luna. Discord and Fluttershy stayed under the stairs with the youngsters, feeling as scared as them.

The draconequus muttered shakily as the scene continued to play, "I don't think I'll be getting out of therapy soon."

"Same here!" Fluttershy squeaked, holding an unamused Sun Streak close to her.

"Forget therapy, Dis!" Flash cried out. "Get out here and do something!"

Discord immediately turned into a young gray colt and said innocently, clearing not wanting to be involved in the brawl, "Who's Discord?"

Flash groaned in annoyance just before a Pegasus knocked him cold unto the ground. Twilight noticed and flew to his aid.

Soon, the Pegasi knocked out all the Mane Six (excluding Fluttershy) and their husbands along with Reef's parents and the alicorn sisters. The foals looked at their unconscious parents, horror written all over their faces.

Fluttershy turned to the exit that her daughter and her friends disappeared from before gaining an idea. She turned to Discord who stared confusedly at her solemn expression and said quickly, putting the foals on his back, "Follow them."

Discord, realizing her motives, turned to the exit as she began to distract the guards, turning their attention away from the Spirit of Chaos and the foals. Turning back on her one more time, he saw her shaking in fear as they surrounded her. With a wince of guilt, he exited the room, the terrified fillies and colts clinging to his back.

To their oblivion, a dark alicorn witnessed the escape from above the hole that his henchmen destroyed, an ominous look on his face. The gray cloaked colt glided and landed next to him, muttering, "It appears we have more of a challenge than anticipated, Lord Obsidian."

"Indeed, Gray Sky," the alicorn mused.

The named Pegasus by then removed his cloak, revealing a long scar down his neck. He sneered at the knocked-out ponies and asked, "What do we do with the new Bearers?"

"Easy," Obsidian said with a nonchalant look. His eyes glowed bright red as he gave out his two-word command.

"Destroy them."

A.N.: (evil laugh) And now, we will see the fate of the Mane Gang soon! Mua ha ha ha!

Pinkie Pie: TRITEIA!

Me: (stops laughing and turns to Pinkie Pie horrified) Huh?

Pinkie: YOU PINKIE PROMISED THAT YOU'LL UPDATE THIS CHAPTER EARLY!

Me: Oh, crud! (starts running) This is not how I wanted to start my summer vacation! Forgive me, fellow watchers! I'm still recovering from an exhausting exam week (on the plus side, I made the honor roll)! And does somebody… er… pony have a frying pan? Anyone?! (continues running as Pinkie tries to grab me)
