Yes I updated! Thank you to the reviewers and followers. So to answer a few questions, yes I will have chapters of my own, meaning I made it by myself, not from the episode. I'm just going to be doing a few episodes first so you get a sense of the characters and their relationships with others.

Grapejuice101: Thanks, glad you like it. And here it is, it wasn't too long of a wait, right?

Review King: I know, I could swear I have the grammar right when I type, thanks for the tip. So another DannyxRoxy fan? You do make a point how they understand each other though, I'll have to think on that. And Annie has her first fan, how nice.

im09: Thanks, just to let you know, that was just the first episode, I didn't make It I just added the new characters in really. Don't worry, she's not. And the Hershey's kiss, it's a kind of small chocolate that's sorta shaped like a cone. I was eating one when I wrote that so I decided why not.

Parental Bonding

Jack Fenton was in the basement, drinking from a double soda hat. He swung his new invention that looked like a fishing line into the swirling green abyss that was the ghost portal. He seemed focused and quiet as he waited for something to tug on the line. Roxy and Danny came down the stairs for their usual checkup on the portal before they left for school. It became sort of a routine. Throwing their book bags down, they walked up the Jack and examined the new contraption.

"Hey dad, what are you doing?" Danny asked.

"What's that?" Roxy referred to the strange fishing pole. They started to actually listen when the Fentons gave them lectures on their new inventions, and things on ghosts. They needed to know if it was dangerous to them, or if it could be useful for when they were out hunting. They decided it was now their job to get rid of the ghosts that came to their world after the lunch lady incident. It wasn't that hard to decide. They turned the portal on, letting these ghosts in, so they put them back.

"Kids, keep it down," Jack shushed them. "You'll scare away the ghosts." He noticed them staring at the pole. "It's the Fenton Ghost Fisher. I'm fishing for ghosts." He rewound it to show them its line that was covered in a glowing light blue essence and gave it a tug. "Check out this line. Coated with a specially tested ectoplasm resin that ghosts can't break. Quiet now. Don't want to spook them."

He threw the line back through the portal and concentrated again. Danny and Roxy shared a glance as Jacks stomach started to rumble and he shot up.

"Woah! Heh, that soda goes right through you like Sherman through Georgia." He got up and shoved the fishing pole into the kids' hands and ran out, shouting over his shoulders as he climbed the stairs. "Here, hang on to this. I'll be right back after I use the Fenton urinal."

"I didn't need to know that." Roxy stated. Danny shrugged and looked at the fishing pole. Then it started to reel forward as something grabbed hold of it from the ghost zone. The blue and purple ghost senses went off. The ground shook as a large being came closer to the portal. Hot green steam rolled out near them, and the ghosts was revealed.

A dragon.

It roared in its anger, letting go of the fishing wire that was in its mouth. They got a good look at it. It was a light blue color, and even lighter on its underbelly and under the wings; its body was a European design with its huge wings and muscular clawed arms and legs. It had green accents on the sharp horns, its forked tongue, fins that stuck out of its head, and green spikes starting from its head to its tail. It also had the classic red angry ghost eyes they were used to. The most noticeable trait was the pure gold with what looked like a huge emerald in the middle. Its voice was hard and angry as it yelled at them. "I WANT TO GO!"

"His dad is using it." Roxy's comment went unheard by the dragon as it crawled its way closer. Danny and Roxy ran back to avoid its massive claws. That effort was useless they realized when the dragon grabbed them and lifted them to meet eyes.

"I HAVE TO GO!" It roared. This was their cue. Ghost time. Danny couldn't hold back his comment.

"You'll have to stand in line behind my dad. In the meantime," They switched to ghost form, and escaped the dragons grasp in a wisp, instantly appearing next to the still closed hands. The dragon was surprised, and then angry seeing its prey escape. It brought its massive paw upwards and tried to swipe at them. They easily dodged. It huge size made it a little slow, giving them an advantage. It eventually tired and resorted to spewing hot green fire instead.

"Sheesh, someone get this thing a tic tac or something." Roxy said as they narrowly avoided the fire. As it was regaining itself, Roxy slammed her fists on it head, disorienting it. Quickly after, Danny kicked its stomach, hard, sending it across the room. Neither of them noticed the piece of jewelry falling from its neck, into a book bag. It stopped short of the ghost zone and sat there. A dull and sad look in its eye as it stared at the two ghosts. Suddenly it began to shrink and change shape.

Slowly, it became a young woman. Her skin became green, and she had long braided golden hair, a light blue dress with green accents, in a medieval style. She fell to the ground on her knees, and looked up at them, her angry red eyes were now sad as she explained herself.

"All I wanted was to go to the princess costume ball." Then she looked slightly fearful and angry as she continued, escaping back into the ghost zone. "And my horrid brother won't let me!"

"If that dragon suits her idea of a costume," They changed back to normal since they were sure no other ghost was around. "I'm on her brother's side."

"I knew it! I knew dragons existed!" Roxy excitedly yelled now that they were out of danger. "They said 'Roxy, stop dreaming,' 'They don't exist Roxy,' 'They're nothing but a myth,' 'Roxy, where did your straight jacket go?'" Danny gave her a look at the last impersonation.

Danny wiped his forehead. "Phew, man, that's a relief."

"I'll tell you what a relief is!" Jack suddenly appeared behind them, of course oblivious to the fight that just occurred. Suddenly, he looked back and shoved his sodas into the kids' hands and he ran back upstairs. "Darn, I almost forgot!"

*Flush*

Tucker stood at the entrance of Casper High, waiting for the girls to walk by so he could ask them to be his date for the school dance tomorrow. He tried to play it cool every time a girl walked by. Here comes three now.

"Hey there, I-"

"Noo." Came her sing-song reply. Ok. Next one.

"Hi, would you-"

"Forget it." She plainly said. Maybe the next one.

"NO!"

"I didn't ask you yet!" Tucker called after her. She literally just said no in his face as she walked by. He went to join his friends at their usual lunch table outside. Danny sat eating a sandwich, Sam and John both had a salad, Terrie simply listened to her music with her headphones on, and Roxy just sat there. Tucker sat down and rested his head in his crossed arms.

"Strike three, Tuck?" Danny questioned with a smile. They knew what this was about; Tucker went on it for days.

"Try strike three thousand." Tucker looked away.

Sam spoke up. "I don't know what the big deal is about going to some stupid dance. I don't need to be asked to some dance to know I'm special. I-" Sam stopped when she notice the boys weren't paying attention to her. Terrie and Roxy were trying to get their attention, to no avail.

"What's wrong with you?" Tucker and Danny answered Terrie's question with a simple name and John just stared.

"Paulina." They looked over to where this 'Paulina' was. She walked with strut across the field. Flipping her long wavy black hair behind her back, over her cropped pink shirt that showed a bit too much of her stomach. She was very curvy, and she wore short light blue pants, and white sandals to go with it, showing her perfectly tanned skin even more so. Paulina's face was caked in make-up, her nails done, and her blue-green eyes glanced at the millions of boys who stared at her form. The boys repeated her name in their trance. "Paulina."

"Oh please, Paulina?" Sam questioned their intelligence.

"Let me guess, she's the schools' 'popular A-lister?'" Roxy asked Sam as the boys repeated the name again. She and her friends were still new to the school.

Sam nodded. "Girls like her are a dime a dozen!" The boys instantly searched their pockets for coins.

"How much change you got?" Danny asked Tucker as he pulled out a few coins.

Sam laughed, unamused. "Ha ha, very funny. Just remember, you can't judge a book by its cover."

"Well, there's only one way to find out." Tuck said. "Go on Danny, go to that library and check out that book!" He gestured to Paulina as she sat under a tree and took out her lunch. Danny shook his head.

"I can't! I get weak-kneed when I try to talk to cute girls." He explained. The girls all looked up hearing this.

"Oh, and you have absolutely no problems talking to me?"

"That's what you tell a girl Danny, A+."

"Rude." Danny made a face at their responses.

"Uh, I-I, uhh."

"Skip it." Sam lifted him roughly and pushed him towards Paulina, ready to watch him fail. "Go give your weak knees some exercise." He walked over to Paulina nervously, and took a deep breath, putting his hand on the tree and played it cool.

"Hi, I-" Face-planted the ground. It took him a moment to realize his hand went intangible, causing him to fall. Paulina wasn't impressed.

"Please, don't say you've suddenly fallen for me." She said. "That line is so last semester." She continued eating her yogurt, ignoring Danny as he got back up.

"Yeah, I-I mean, no! T-that's not it, I-I." The ghost boy was flustered as he looked at her bored face. Ok, just go for it. "I'm Danny." He gave a smile. Then, his pants turned intangible, and dropped to his ankles, revealing his red and white boxers. He immediately flushed red, especially with the crowd that had gathered to see his shot at Paulina. Speaking of Paulina, she was also laughing, hard.

"A gentleman usually tips his hat, but I'll give you points for originality." She told him.

"And I hate her already." Terrie said. Sam walked up to Danny and patted his back.

"Kudos Danny, you just set an all-time speed record for drowning in the shallow end of the gene pool." She directed at Paulina. It took her a moment to get it.

"Aw no! You did not just call me shallow, did you?" Paulina asked, angry.

"If you mean do I think I could stand in a puddle full of you and not get my feet wet? Then yeah." Sam retorted. Paulina tried to stay calm. A few snickers were heard in the back.

"Shallow? I am not shallow!" She crossed her arms and watched Sam lead Danny away. When they were out of earshot, she starting thinking. "…On the other hand, I'm not so deep that I couldn't l lure a boy away from a goth geek. And I will."

Danny and Sam rejoined their friends at the table.

"How can anyone like her?" Terrie asked to no one in particular.

"Well that was embarrassing." Danny admitted as he pulled his pants up.

"You get credit for trying." John said.

"Are you kidding? I blew it! She'll never respect me again!" Danny sighed.

"True, but you'll meet someone better, I know you will." Roxy attempted. Danny just looked down. There were no ghost attacks that day.

"Thanks to you, I now know the quickest way to a women's heart, clean boxers." Tucker joked with Danny as he took his books from his locker the next day. Danny sighed, Tucker wouldn't stop with this. The rest of the gang was either in their class already, or at their locker that unfortunately not near Danny's.

"Man, I blew it yesterday. Paulina probably won't even look at me now."

"Yoo-hoo! Danny!" Paulina called from across the hallway. They looked up surprised. This was Danny's chance to redeem himself.

"Hey Tuck." He nudged is friend who instantly knew what he meant.

"I get it. I'm out. Good luck." Tucker ran off to give them some privacy. Paulina walked up to Danny and gave him a smile.

"Hi you, I just wanted to-*gasp*" Dash appeared and shoved Danny in his own locker, and slammed it shut. He talked to Paulina with confidence.

"Meet me? Who doesn't?" He rested his arm on the lockers and continued. "Dash Baxter." Danny used his intangibility and invisibility to leave the locker. He stared at Dash's back, angered that he ruined his chance. Dash went on, not sensing the ghost behind him. "All star quarter-back, and school hero," Danny went to grab Dash by the shoulders, but he was suddenly pulled into his body. "I'm also-" Paulina didn't notice Dash's eyes flash to toxic green for a moment.

"-In Dash's body?"

"Excuse me?" Paulina asked. This guy was annoying her. Danny, who had just overshadowed Dash and was controlling his body, soon caught on to what happened. Finally, a sense of revenge. He was going to make Dash look like a fool, well, more than he already is at least.

"R-right, of course, I'm also president of the Casper High Geek Club, and I have every toenail I've ever clipped. Want to see them?"

"No." Paulina deadpanned. Danny inwardly smiled.

"Oh then you should get to know Danny Fenton. He doesn't scrub his mom's feet every night like I do!" He finished. This was far enough.

"Ew! Get lost loser!" Paulina yelled. Danny took the chance to exit Dash's body, who was disoriented, and went back into the locker.

"Why do I suddenly feel like scrubbing my mom's feet?" He stumbled away, still dizzy. Paulina went up to the locker to free Danny, who fell out on his face, and unknowingly dropped a piece of jewelry. Paulina giggled.

"We have to stop meeting like this." She looked to side, and the shiny pure gold amulet immediately caught her eye. "Oh my gosh! What's that?" She picked it up and examined its unique design and the huge emerald in the middle.

"That? Oh." Danny wasn't even sure where it came from. "Uh i-it's a-a, you like it?" Maybe he could use this.

Paulina was still captivated by its designs. "It's beautiful!"

"Hey that's great! Because I uh, got it, f-for you!" He tried to remember where he saw it before. Paulina squealed in excitement, maybe this boy wasn't so bad.

"Really!?"

"Uh, yeah! In case I got the nerve to ask you to the dance, a-and you said yes. I t-thought i-I'd want to give you something, and t-that's what it would've been! For you!" He held his pants that began to turn intangible again, keeping them in place. "Whether you go with me or not."

"Well you are kinda' cute, and you have great taste in underwear." She put the amulet on, and answered him. "I'd love to go with you." She walked away, leaving Danny with his mouth hung open with a smile, not feeling the flash her eyes and the amulet made.

"What am I doing?" Danny questioned himself. "That thing doesn't belong to me, it could be my moms, or my sisters, or Roxy's sister."

"Bye Danny, see you!" Paulina called as she turned the hallway. His smile returned.

"Or I could worry about that later, because she said yes! Woo-hoo!" His smile fell when he felt his pants fall. He sighed, right when a certain teacher came up behind him.

"Pant less again, Mr. Fenton?" Lancer stated. "Third time this week I caught you…how do you kids say it?" He looked in a book titled 'How to Sound Hip: For the Unhip.' "Dropping trou'. I think it's time I've saw your father for a parent teacher conference." He handed Danny a sheet of paper with the appointment information.

"Aw man, my dad?" He skimmed over the sheet.

"Until then, here," Lancer pulled out a belt from nowhere. "It'll help you keep your pants up and…" He checked the book. "Out of trouble, with the man." He left, leaving Danny unsure how to tell his dad.

"So you mean we can overshadow people?" Roxy asked Danny on their walk home. He nodded. "Hmm...did you use it to embarrass Dash?" She guessed.

"Yeah, how'd you know?" She simply gave a smirk. Then he remembered the paper in his hands and sighed. "I don't know how to tell my dad about this though." He showed her the paper.

She read it over, and came up with something. "I think I know what to do, and how to test my power." He raised his eyebrow at her as they walked through the doors of Fenton Works. "Tell him, I'll be right there."

He left his book bag on the couch and went to the basement where he saw his dad still trying to fish for ghosts. "Catch anything dad?"

"Son, I couldn't catch a cold. I've been sittin' here all day without a single bite!" Danny glanced at his paper, then at the irritated face of his father. "I'm so frustrated I want to take out my rage on the first person who gives me bad news!" He forcefully flung the line into the portal. "Anyway, you wanted to tell me something?"

"Well, sort of," The younger one in the room worriedly glanced at the paper in his hand, now more hesitant to tell his dad the news. "Mr. Lancer-"

His dad shot up like a bullet at the words. "Mr. Lancer what? Is this bad news?" He narrowed his eyes at his sons face, giving him a hard look.

"Mr. Lancer just, uh-"

Jacks eyes flashed electric purple and slightly smiled. "Wanted to have a word with us, son?"

It took Danny a moment. "Roxy?" At the nod, he smiled in relief.

"I didn't know you can drive." Danny said to Roxy who was still in Jack's body as they walked through the entrance to the school. "And aren't you too young?"

"My dad showed me, besides it's pretty easy when you get the hang of it." She responded, in Jacks voice. "Good thing we weren't stopped by cops on the way."

"Yeah, you have those cards I wrote out?" She nodded and took out the cards Danny wrote out for things to tell Lancer to get on his good side. "Great, here we are." 'Jack' knocked on the door and soon after, Lancer came out to greet them.

"Thank you for coming to discuss your son's schooling Mr. Fenton." He said, welcoming them to the room and offering them a seat.

"Of course; as a parent, we watch out for our kids, like teachers like you do I'm sure." 'Jack' said. "Teachers know what's best for kids and help them learn, right?"

Lancer seemed pleased. "Right. Well, there were a couple of incidents, with his pants." He spoke slowly.

"Oh uh, his pants fell didn't they?" Roxy glanced down to a card in her hand, out of Lancers view. "Poor Danny, he studies so hard he forgets to eat."

Lancer looked over to Danny and contemplated that for a bit. "Hmm…that would explain things…"

"It worked?" Danny asked from his seat. Lancer gave him a curious look. He quickly responded. "I mean of course you understand! No wonder you're my favorite teacher!"

"I am?"

"Oh definitely! Danny and uh, Roxy both talk about you every night about how great you are." Roxy glanced at another card. "We Fentons consider teachers to be underpaid, and underappreciated. It seems we rubbed off on Roxy." Lancer looked very pleased at hearing this. He looked to a paper on his desk, and it only took a moment to consider his option.

"I like your style, Mr. Fenton." He picked the paper up. "In fact, I'd like you to chaperone the upcoming school dance."

"Chaperone?" Danny asked from his seat.

"Uh, I don't know about this…" Roxy tried to think of an excuse. Lancer beat her to it.

"I am." He handed 'Jack' the paper. "See you Friday, or as the kids say," He looked in his book. "Catch you later, 'G'."

"Uh, you sound like one of the young teenagers." Roxy said to him as they got up. "Let's go, son."

At the mall, the gang was at the food court after Danny and Roxy explained everything that happened. Many people walked around with fleecy-tee, another girl rejected Tucker when he didn't say anything.

"So your dad is going to chaperone the dance?" Sam asked.

"That will be a problem." Terrie commented.

"Yeah, but he doesn't even remember that I made him say yes." Roxy explained. Tucker saw an opportunity.

"Let me get this straight, you can just walk into people and take over their bodies from the inside?"

"Yeah pretty much." Roxy nodded in agreement. It also gave them the voices of the body's owner, so that was good, but their normal voice was a hidden undertone in them. Tucker smirked.

"Hey Danny, if you can control a girl for just about two minutes…" He gestured over to a girl they saw around at school who was reading a book. Danny instantly knew what he meant.

"Forget it. You can get your own date for the dance, like I did."

"Does he have to take off his pants and act like a dweeb? Or will either one do?" Sam joked with them.

"Roxy?" Tucker tried. She gave him a look.

"Sorry, I'm not making anyone say yes." He sighed and continues checking girls off his list on his PDA.

"I'll show you how it's done." John said. "Hey Terrie want to go?"

"Yeah sure." Was her response. John smiled, and then looked at Tucker who was in shock.

"Honestly guys," Sam admitted. "I'm glad I'm not going to this stupid dance, saves me the embarrassment of wearing a, uh, lame dress my, parents bought me." She nervously laughed.

"So no one asked you, huh?" Tucker smirked. She took offense to that.

"Well maybe if I was as pretty as Paulina."

"Why are you so down on her?" Danny asked. "So she's pretty, it's not a crime."

"Looks are deceiving Danny." Before he could respond, a group of people ran past them screaming. When they looked to the source of their horror, Roxy and Danny's ghost sense went off.

"Ghost time." Tucker said. "Can I finish your fries?"

Making sure no one was watching, which wasn't much because everyone ran away, they changed to their ghost forms, and flew over to where the ghost was, and it was a dragon. She was terrorizing a specific store called 'Abyss'. They notice that this dragon was a bit different. Instead of light blue and green, it was light pink with black accents all over. Same structure and roaring anger though.

"Hey lizard breath!" Roxy tried to get her attention, and it worked, it glared at them. "Over here!" It simply roared and spew hot fire, which they dodged. Suddenly, it turned to whip its tails, sending them backwards. Danny flew into a weenie stand and Roxy into a shoe store.

"Testy, got it." Danny muttered as he got up, instantly flying away as the dragon breathed fire towards him. "Sorry dude, I think you got the wrong weenie." As he flew down to hit the dragon's stomach, Roxy kicked its chin, so it was focused on her, letting Danny smash into its stomach. He planned to hit it against the wall, but it grabbed him in its claws and slammed him into the floor.

"Must have tee!" It yelled at him. Danny looked above him for a second and smiled when he saw the other figure flying at them.

"Tea? Ooh, good idea, coffee can make you a might jittery. Better yet, have some punch!" Right when he said punch, Roxy came and punched it in the throat, sending it backwards. Upon landing, the amulet it was wearing flew off and into an abandoned Abyss bag. Seeing as the dragon left, Danny and Roxy returned to their friends.

"Danny, Roxy!" They called, worried that they were gone for awhile. "Are you ok?"

"We're fine." Roxy looked down at the few scratches on their suits from the dragon's claws.

"That's the second time in a row we fought a dragon. We need to investigate." Danny said, concerned this might be bigger than they think. "How are you guys?"

Tucker spoke. "Great. If you don't count me still being dateless for the dance." He checked the list one his PDA. "Sasha, no. Denise, no. I've hit every girl in school except," The girl he was talking about conveniently walked by. "Valerie."

She looked him up and down before responding. "Yeah hi, Sucker is it?"

"Tucker. Or Tuck, or Tuckerino."

"Which ends with no, which by the way is my answer." She already knew what he was going to ask. He asked every girl in school. "Unless something happens in the next five minutes that make me dateless." Kwan, another big football star ran up excitedly to talk to Valerie.

"You'll never guess what happened! Donna said she's go to the dance with me, so you're dateless!" He ran away as quick as he came.

"You're on." She said to Tucker.

"I'll take it!" Tucker turned to his friends as Valerie walked away. "Some may call it the rebound, but I call it a yes. I got a date! Woo! And the pants are still on."

"Wait, so Roxy you're not going?" John asked her.

"Uh, I guess not."

"No you have to go!" Terrie said. "You can't leave me alone in there, there's people there!"

"You have John." She said after realizing she'd be leaving her friend alone. They turned to John who was just staring at them. "Oh yeah. Ok…I'll go."

"You don't have a date though." Danny reminded her.

"Oh right." She looked around before yelling and pointing at a guy playing guitar.

"Hey you!" He stopped playing and looked at her, confused.

"Me?"

"Yeah you, we're going to the dance together."

"We are?"

"Yeah."

"Oh…ok then."

"Alright, see you later." She said back. Her friends looked at her weird. "What?"

"Roxy, you don't even own a dress though." John reminded her. Then she looked horrified at the realization that she had to wear a dress, and Terrie looked happy before dragging her off deeper into the mall.

"I can help you find one!"

"Nooooooooooooooooo!"

"I don't understand why I have to wear this stupid thing." Jack said as Maddie adjusted his tie. She explained for the 10th time that night.

"Because it's Danny's and Roxy's first dance, Jack. If we're going to chaperone this thing, we have to make sure we don't embarrass them."

"How would we embarrass them?" Jack asked.

"You like ghosts too much." Mike said from the chair where he ate cereal. "Even though ghosts don't eggs," He tried to pronounce 'exist'. "How come I have to stay home?"

"Because this is their dance for their school. Me and Jazz will watch you." Annie explained to Mike."

"If I marry a girl, can I go to the dance too?" Mike said casually, end everyone laughed.

"Mike, you have to be a man to start thinking about that kind of stuff." Annie said to him, drinking from the soda drinking hat. When she found it, she washed it, and hasn't put it down since.

"I am a man now!" Mike yelled. "I have hair on my legs!"

"And I want to know if I can have the ghost gun thing."

"The ecto-ray?"

"I want to shoot things."

"I think it's great when you guys do anything that doesn't have something to do with your sick obsession with ghosts." Jazz told them, getting harsher at the end, silently telling them to stop talking about that topic. They all stood in the kitchen, the dance was soon.

"Funny," Jack said. "I don't even remember volunteering to chaperone the dance. It's all a vague blur."

"Hey Mr. Fenton, I wanted to ask you something." Annie said to the huge adult. Jazz ignored her parents and moved on to the teens in the room.

"By the way guys, just so you know, I'm on to your little secret." She said smugly. Their hearts suddenly started pounding as Danny spit out his drink and Roxy choked on nothing. How could she have figured it out? They always made sure no one was around when they transformed.

"What? What secret?" Danny asked.

"Even I know it too." Mike said with a smile. "It's so easy to see."

"As in Jazz told you?" Roxy said, trying to redirect the question.

"….Yes." Unfortunately, Jazz brought the 'secret' back to hand.

"The clumsiness, the nervousness, and all the time you spend. I can't believe I haven't figured it out before. You're dating!"

"It's a lie I'm not a ghost!" "YOU KNOW NOTHING!" They yelled at the same time, and then realized what she said.

"Oh, no we're not."

"Uh, I mean, she's not my girlfriend. We're not even going to the dance together." Danny explained.

"Yeah, he has a date with Paulina."

"Who's Pauline?" Mike asked, pronouncing her name as 'Paul-line'.

"Paulina, and she's the popular one."

"Oh." Mike looked away as he tried to figure out what 'popular' meant.

"That's great! I can meet her and talk about ghosts!" Jack said happily.

"You better let her know that your family's insane now, Danny. If you marry her and she finds out later, that's entrapment." Jazz told him. He sighed and walked away.

"I better go get ready. Tucker and John will be here soon."

"Roxy, who are you going with?" Mike asked his sister.

"I don't know, some dude named Alex I think." Then she followed after Danny. "I better go put on the stuff Terrie made me buy."

Danny, Tucker, and John were all in Danny's room as they were ready and waiting for Sam to finish her research on the dragons they've been fighting. She was the only one not going, so they asked to do the research. Of course, all were wearing suits and freshened up.

Danny had a dark grey suit that was well ironed. Long sleeved and the buttons were on both sides, his collar was folded against his torso. He wore a white dress shirt underneath, and a tie that perfectly matches his icy blue eyes. His shiny black shoes completed the outfit. His hair was neatly combed too, but still in the same style. Teeth brushed and ready to go.

Tucker was also suited up, though his button up suit was a light amazon green that went well with his own amazon green eyes. He too wore a dress shirt underneath, but it was a dull yellow, and his tie was a more olive green, it matched pretty well along with his brown shoes. His collar folded neatly to his chest. He also kept his red beret hat on, and his glasses were polished.

And last but not least, John was also well suited. His button up suit was a dark grey color, darker than Danny's, and his tie was a bright yellow that went along with his combed light brown hair. His suits v-neck collar went a little lower than Danny's and Tucker's suit, and he has a chest pocket to his left and two pockets on his lower sides. His undershirt was a deep black, and his shiny black boots matched it. He was also freshened up.

"Tie straight, shirt tucked in, unbreakable ghost fishing line tucked neatly away just in case." Danny checked the things off his mental lift, and then looked to his laptop where he was talking to Sam. "What's taking so long with that dragon research, Sam?"

"Alright jeez." She responded. "Here, I'm sending you the link." The laptop dinged as it received the new information. Danny clicked it and a picture of the first dragon he and Roxy fought, the light blue one, came up.

"That's it." He read what was on the screen. "Medieval ghostly legend held that the cursed amulet of Aragon could transform any wearer into dragon form under states of emotional duress or anger." He took a closer look at the picture of the girl and saw the familiar amulet. "That's the amulet I gave to Paulina! It must've accidentally fallen into my backpack." He looked up and realized what this meant.

"Wait, you mean I'm going on a date with a dragon?"

"That's a new high." John said. Sam smiled.

"Like I said, looks are deceiving. I'm sure you boys will have a wonderful evening." She closed out the program, leaving the boys standing there. Danny finally realized what she's been implying all along.

"She really wants to go to the dance."

"I just realized." John said.

Tucker was confused at their statement. "But she said she didn't want to."

"We're her best friends, we should've known."

Tucker sighed. "Well there's nothing we can do about it now, right?" He looked at Danny's face as he thought of something. Suddenly a light bulb went off over his head, and he looked at Tucker with a smile, his eyes flashed toxic green. Tucker understood what he thought of, and his voice got harsher with each word.

"No way. Forget it. Absolutely not! No!"

Meanwhile, in Roxy's room, she and Terrie just received the link the Sam had sent them after talking to Danny, John, and Tucker about the dragon. They too of course, were dressed up. Terrie wore an overall black short dress. From the waist down, it was decorated in white skulls with red roses between them, and a green vine running through them. Spaghetti straps went with it, and around her chest had the same pattern with the skulls and roses, but one big black rose sat in the middle, the rest was black with red running through it in a road design. Her hair was straightened and braided from above her right ear down to over her left shoulder. Her black leggings had a pair of white skeleton legs, and her black shoes with skulls matched her dress. Also, around her neck was a silver necklace with a small scissor charm and she kept her piercings the same.

Roxy's dress was longer, and black and green. Spaghetti straps held on to the slightly low cut dress. The top half was designed like a corset, and the bottom was more like a long skirt. The corset stings were black and the outlines from the top was also black. The rest of the top half was a green that matched her green eyes. The bottom skirt half was striped with vertical green and black. Between the corset and skirt was a black belt. Her straightened hair was let down so it fell just below her shoulders, and her boots were black with green accents.

"Ha, so Danny's dating a dragon?" Roxy asked aloud to the camera showing Sam on her laptop.

"I warned him that looks are deceiving." Sam said.

"He shouldn't have given that amulet away when it wasn't his." Terrie commented.

"True. It was all to impress Paulina." Sam muttered.

"You want to go, don't you?" Terrie asked. Sam looked startled at the question, but hid it, and kept her voice even.

"Well, kinda', but it's too late now."

"Sorry that didn't work out." Roxy offered condolence.

Sam shook her head. "Don't worry about it. Good luck at the dance." She logged out.

"Poor Sam." Roxy said, Terrie nodded in agreement. There was a knock at the door, and Terrie went to open it.

"Hi John." She said to him. He nodded with a smile on his face, staring at her. She looked at his suit and nodded back.

"Shall we?" He said, extending his hand to hers. She nodded, and as they were about to leave, they heard a knock from downstairs on the front door. Then Maddie's voice was heard.

"Who are you?"

"Uh, Alex. Is, uh, Roxana here?"

*Knock knock knock*

Sam opened the door to find Tucker standing there. "Tucker? What are you doing here? Where's Valerie?"

"She kinda' canceled on me." That surprised Sam. She missed the undertone of a different voice speaking in Tucker's place. "Do you think we could go together? You know, as friends?"

Sam's face lit up, but then she realized how she looked, and tried to keep her voice even. "Uh, I-I don't know. This is so last minute, and I do have…plans…and…"

"Well, I understand if you don't want to go." 'Tucker' turned to leave, but Sam stopped him.

"Ok, but only because you got stood up." She spoke fast. "I'll go to change into that dumb dress I wasn't going to wear." She slammed the door with a smile as she hurried to her room. Once she left, Danny left Tucker's body and Tucker immediately yelled at him.

"That is so unfair!"

"See ya!" Danny left the scene quick.

"And as soon as Sam comes back, I'm gonna'-" He turned to the sound of the door opening, revealing Sam and her dress, and was stunned by how she looked. Her hair was straightened, and her ponytail tuff was gone, in their place was two medium length pig-tail-like tuffs that spread in five pieces. Her make-up was more focused with her purple lipstick and eye shadow, and black eyeliner. Her dress had a U-cut in the front, and a V-cut on the back, and the sleeves were fishnets up until her elbows where she wore long black gloves over them that still showed her fingers. The top half of her dress was black, with a thin lining of a purple corset down the middle, and the bottom half was a sparkling, flowing purple that hid her purple high heel boots. She also kept her black choker on, and she held a black and purple handbag. She smiled at his face before dragging him off.

"Come on, we're going to be late!"

Lancer walked around the room of the dance and was reading more lines off of his book to the kids around. "Let's get down with our bad selves. Yo, shake that thing. Hey G, you're my dog." He frowned slightly at the faces of the teens who heard him. Their faces said it all.

'What the hell is wrong with this teacher?'

Danny grabbed two cups of punch and gave one to Paulina. Paulina was wearing a sparkling light pink flowing dress that was slightly low-cut, and it had spaghetti straps to keep it up. It was long enough to hide her feet. Her long gloves matched the dress perfectly, and so did the bow in her hair that was a bit shinier today. Her makeup was done in the same shades as her dress, and her pink shoes were high heeled. Around her neck was the amulet, so they had to be careful.

"Hey Paulina, I was thinking, that amulet," Danny began. Paulina interrupted him and put a hand around the jewelry with a smile.

"Isn't it fabulous? I haven't taken it off since you've gave it to me."

Danny gave a nervous smile. "Yeah, well, a-a-about that, I shouldn't have given it to you in the first place because…" He glanced around the room, and saw Sam talking with Tucker. "It belongs to Sam."

Paulina's eye instantly became slits instead of round, and she emitted a growl as a dragon tongue came out and sucked the rest of her punch from her cup. Her growl was still present as she shattered the cup with her hand, and she glared at Sam. Danny's eyes widened in surprised, but he kept calm and gave her his untouched cup of punch.

"B-but I wanted to make it up to you. I'll get you something else, something more special!" He offered a semi-apologetic smile under her angry glare. Then he heard Mr. Lancer.

"Mr. Fenton!" Lancer was happy to see him. "About our conversation the other day concerning Danny…" Danny had to act fast.

"Like punch! I'm going to get you some special punch." He was about to run over to where his dad stood with a confused face, but stopped midway as Jack's eyes flashed electric purple.

"Of course. Danny is a fine boy, we get that a lot." 'Jack' gave a smile to where Danny stood by the punch bowl. However, Maddie didn't miss the strange undertone in his voice.

"Jack? You sound kind of strange." She looked concerned for him; something was off about his voice.

"Uh," Roxy, in jack's body, looked over to Danny and saw him calling her over. "I'm going to get punch." And she rushed past the dancing teens. When she caught up to Danny, they walked to where their friends all stood there, observing the crowd. "Terrie, John, Tucker, Sam, the amulet-"

"We had nothing to do with that Mr. Fenton, Sam made them do it!" Tucker yelled, thinking Jack knows about their friends being half ghosts. Sam glared at him for instantly blaming it on her.

"Guys, it's just Roxy." Danny assured them. He pulled out multiple walkie-talkies and gave one to each of them. "Here, Sam, John, try to help us find Paulina. Terrie, Tucker, keep an eye on my dad. If you see him talking to anyone, page Roxy. Got it?" They gladly accepted the devices and smiled, running off to their duties.

"This dance gets better and better with each passing minute."

Terrie and Tucker stayed near Roxy in Jack's body, ready to follow him when Roxy left his body. She walked as far from Mr. Lancer as she could get. Sam and John were asking around if anyone has seen Paulina. So far, she was unseen. At least until Sam turned around and saw Paulina walking by. She pointed her out to John as she took out her device.

"Danny, I got her." Sam exclaimed to the walkie-talkie.

"She's heading towards the girls bathroom." John further explained.

"Stay on her, I'm on my way." He said back. "And don't make her angry." He warned her.

"John, stay with Tucker." Roxy said since John couldn't go to the girl's bathroom. Terrie had already gone ahead once she heard where Paulina was.

"Hey, Paulina," Sam walked into the bathroom where she saw Paulina go in and remembered. 'Don't make her mad'. "Uh, nice dress." Paulina had seen Sam walk in through the reflection of the mirror where she was adjusting her hair. She spun to meet her with a smile, and cocky voice.

"Yes, and it goes so nicely with your amulet." She smirked, waiting for Sam's reaction. "Don't you think?"

"My amulet? That's not my…" The goth thought that that was probably what Danny told Paulina. "Right. Listen, my grandma gave me that amulet and-"

"Forget it, sweetie." Paulina interrupted her, knowing she was going to ask for it back. She walked past the goth with a knowing smile. "I'm not giving up this trinket or your little boyfriend Danny."

Sam was a bit taken back, but then she laughed. "My boyfriend? Ha ha! And they say pretty girls can't be funny. Danny is not my boyfriend."

"He's not?"

"He's my bestfriend. Maybe that was why I was so hard on you, I didn't mean to call you shallow." Terrie walked in just in time to hear that, and thought Sam had it under control.

"What a bummer," Paulina chuckled. "I only agreed to go out with him because I thought I was stealing him from you." She took off the amulet and wrapped it around Sam's neck. "Here, take your crummy amulet. I'm going back inside to dump your dorky friend."

When Terrie saw Sam shaking with anger, she tried to calm her down, especially with the amulet on her. Some scales popped out and her skin began changing colors, and Terrie slowly backed away. "Sam? Calm down."

"Shallow little witch!" The godly dragon voice made Paulina turn in time to see Sam suddenly turn into a dragon. She of course, passed out on the floor.

"Paulina? Sam?" Outside the bathroom, Danny had been waiting for them to come out. There was a strange loud noise coming from the inside. Roxy, and some other kids, heard the strange noise from Jack's body, and left him by the refreshments to keep him busy and joined Danny's side.

"What was that?" She asked. At the shrug, she ran past him. "I'll check it out." The second she went inside, she saw a dragon in the dim light carrying off a body in its claws through the newly formed hole in the wall, and Terrie staring at them in shock. She peeked back outside and whispered 'Ghost time' to Danny. They transformed into ghosts and soon caught up with the dragon.

"Take it down." Danny yelled to Roxy. She nodded, and they kicked its neck and head and it fell out of the sky to the football field. Now that it was momentarily down, Danny tried to reason with it. "Take it easy Paulina; you don't want to hurt-Sam?" He stopped when he realized Paulina was in the claws of a black and purple dragon.

The dragon opened its eyes, and quickly sized them up before letting out a roar. "Shallow girl!"

"That's Sam alright." Roxy said. Sam gave them a fiery glare. She spew hot fire at them, so they turned intangible to avoid burning.

"Whoa, Sam, two words; breath mints." Danny remarked before flying to get Paulina out of danger. With Roxy distracting Sam by flying around her head, Danny was easily able to get Paulina. That angered Sam more, so she used her tail to whip them out of the sky. Danny and Paulina flew to the bleachers, so Danny before himself in the way before Paulina and made them intangible, and he hit the gate. Dash was there, flirting with a girl. They were both frightened at the strange scene. "Uh, sorry."

They were still confused, but when they heard the roar of the dragon, they screamed and ran off. Before Sam could take a swipe at Danny and Paulina, Roxy started throwing punches and kicks to draw it attention, and it worked. Sam began throwing fire at her. Then, their walkie-talkies went off, and Tuckers voice came through.

"Danny, Lancer's getting close to your dad."

"I'll take care of Sam." Roxy yelled to him as she dodged another fire ball. "Take care of your dad!" Danny left Paulina's side and flew behind Sam and grabbed her tail and spun her around, letting her go when she was full speed. That sent her flying away.

"Get Paulina somewhere safe." Danny told Roxy while pointing to Paulina who was starting to wake up a little.

Roxy nodded. "Alright, go get your dad!"

Danny's eyes widened at the realization. "Aw man, dad!" He flew through the wall and saw his dad approaching Lancer and Maddie.

"Hey." Jack said lowly to Lancer. "Who the heck are you and why are you talking to my wife?"

"Jack? This is Mr. Lancer. From the parent teacher conference?" She said to him. He looked confused for a second before his eyes flashed toxic green.

"Right, right." Danny said in Jacks voice. "I'm sorry, it's just…in this light I thought you were George Clooney! Isn't he sharp mom? …I mean Maddie."

Lancer was taken back, having never heard a compliment like that, but he was pleased. "Well, heh, thank you."

"Now if you'll excuse me, I would like to dance with my wife. That's what we adults do, dance with our wives." He carried Maddie to the dance floor and began dancing next to her. She had her eyes closed and was remembering things from when she and Jack were younger.

"Doesn't this bring back memories?" She sighed, content. Danny nervously looked around and thought of an answer.

"If by memories you mean things you remember that I don't? Then yes! Go ahead and remind me of stuff, I'll totally agree of remembering." He stopped when he heard the applause of the students there. They applauded the two dancers, surprising them. Danny took this as his chance to exit, leaving Jack and Maddie to the praise.

Meanwhile, as soon as Danny went after his dad, Roxy was left with the task of getting Paulina out of the way of danger before Sam came back. She flew down to the bleachers and picked her up bridal style. She heard a distant roar, and knew she had to hurry up. Luckily she saw Dash hiding behind some trees.

"Who are you?" Paulina said groggily, eyes still closed. Roxy turned and saw Sam flying back, so she quickly flew down near Dash.

"Doesn't matter." She reached Dash who was still frightened. The ghost girl put Paulina down slowly. "Watch her." She instructed him before flying back up to meet Sam. At that moment, Sam returned and immediately threw more fire. Roxy dodged them and tried to get to the amulet on her neck, but every time she got near, Sam swiped at her with her massive claws. Danny came out finally and met up with Roxy after dodging fire.

"Any ideas?" She asked him after dodging more fire. He looked around.

"I hate to say this," He directed at the dragon. "But you throw fire like a girl!" Roxy smacked him upside the head. However she did smile as he took out a device tucked neatly away just in case.

"The Fenton Fisher! It can capture ghosts, and dragon ghosts!" He and Roxy flew to where Sam was staring at them with beady eyes. The line popped out as he pushed the button, and it was ready to be used. "Way to go, dad!" They flew to where Sam was observing the strange object, deeming it dangerous. She tried to knock it out of Danny's hand, but he held the hook as he tossed it to Roxy who was on the other side of Sam, extending the line around Sam. As the dragon followed the device to Roxy, she turned and tried to bite, but Roxy tossed it back to Danny around Sam's other side, tying it around Sam even more. This continued until it ran out of line. It was around her multiple times.

Sam looked surprised as she saw the line around her tighten, tying her wings back, and knocking her out of the air and down to the ground, hard. They flew down and approached her with caution, and saw that she was disoriented. They ripped the amulet around her neck off before she could pull herself back together, and watched as she slowly transformed back to a human. She looked around, confused on how she got there.

"Sam, are you alright?"

"Wow," She held her hand up to her head to try to ease the headache, wondering what happened to her. It kind of felt like waking up from a nap she didn't know she was taking. "Did I have fun at the dance?"

"Let's just say you had a roaring time."

"Dude, sorry your date didn't pan out." Tucker sympathized with Danny. He waved it off. "Where is Paulina anyways?" Sam turned to see Paulina and Dash together. She was about to make a comment, but decided against it.

"Ah, who cares? Look, the DJ's still playing." She turned to face Danny. "And I think there's time for one last dance.

"Sure, I'd love to." He said before handing the amulet to Tucker. "Keep an eye on this, will ya'?" They went off to the middle of the room and swayed to the beat of the slow dance song.

"Where did your date go?" Tucker asked Roxy.

"I haven't seen him after I overshadowed Jack. He probably left." She responded.

"May I have this dance, m'lady?" John asked Terrie as he did a slight bow, extending his hand.

"Sure." She accepted, and went off. Tucker looked at Roxy, and she walked away.

"Sorry Tuck, I don't dance." And she went off to the last of the refreshments.

"I'm dateless again?" Tucker asked himself. "What does a guy have to do to get hooked up around here?"

"I want to go to the ball!" Cried a ghostly voice behind him. He turned to see the owner of the ghost amulet, and she still had her light blue dress on. She smiled at Tucker as she floated over to him and put her hands on his shoulders.

"On second thought, I don't need a date that badly." He nervously said, staring at the ghost girl in fright. "Hey guys, wait up! Can I get in?"

"Guys?"

The end. Again. So just out of curiosity, did anyone notice that after Danny overshadowed Jack in the actual show, it skipped to the meeting and didn't show how he got there? So, because of that, I let Roxy drive. I mean he could've flown there invisible, but oh well. Also I don't know how to describe dresses, so sorry if you can't picture it well, or see an over baked marshmallow instead of a dress. If you message me, I could send you a link to a picture of the dresses if you really want though. Anyways, leave suggestions; tell me how I did, and all that other stuff.
