He was her idol. He was the one who motivated her to continue to improve, to get stronger. She was always fascinated by his skills moreover by his childish and innocent attitude. The one she admired the most didn't want to accept weakness by anybody, so she worked hard never to lose a card fight, to never disappoint his trust in her.

Her name was Asaka Narumi, the beautiful assassin of team Asteroid.

"What's wrong Asaka, focus on the game," Tatsunagi Suiko said, finishing her assault. Asaka just threw her a glare. She hated this woman. She kept interfering with her relationship with Suzugamori Ren, the man who taught her to despise weakness. Asaka would never let a pop idol replace her as Ren's favorite.

"I don't need to focus to beat you. Are you ready, because this is the final act of the Pale Moon Circus! I Break Ride! Go, Silver Thorn Dragon Tamer, Luquier!" Asaka exclaimed, activating the Break Ride skill of the unit under her and Luquier's Limit Break as well, pushing her vanguard to an amazing power of 39000 with the boost of Irina and the Twin Drive even revealed a critical trigger, so her vanguard got an additional +5000. Suiko was done for.

"Well done, you are getting stronger fight by fight," Ren praised, clapping and smiling almost his face off. Asaka's face lit up, happy about Ren's compliment. She was in love with Ren, she realized it a long time ago and was always happy to be by his side.

"Suiko, your Angel Feather is really great. You really use Ramiel's Break Ride skill to the fullest."

Asaka's eyes twitched. So we're at it again, hah? Always Suiko here and Suiko there, she was getting honestly sick of it. Why didn't Ren ever tell her something like that? She always worked her butt off to make him happy, to make him notice her. Asaka never complain about it, but lately it didn't let her sleep. She was trying so hard and it looked like even that wasn't enough to catch Ren's attention. She let her head hang down and left the room.

"She's really fired up," Suiko said after the door behind Asaka closed. Ren just nodded in agreement. Ren knew that Asaka always worked hard and tried her best. He knew also that she was maybe time to time upset with him, since he almost never told her how precious she is for team Asteroid. Asaka was just like this. Ren would love to be more open with her, but this is the way she will improve the most, by trying to catch his attention through getting stronger.

"Of course she is. She's my favorite after all."

A/N I don't know why, but I really like Asaka. She's great and her Pale Moon deck is even better.
