They had taken the news that they were fictional in this world relatively well. Hidan, thanks to his connection with Jashin, had known such tihngs were possible, and in a surprising twist of fate vouched for me during the conversation-that-ended-awkwardly, and while the others were taking it with a grain of salt originally, the evidence on my book-shelves that was my naruto-collection didn't lie.

Ofcourse after that I lost access to my laptop, the others being in a mad scramble for the newest chapters, but well... You know... What else could I do but stand aside graciously?

All the while cursing them mentally for deriving me of my precious.

I think this is the moment I started to be less of a wreck around them.

It took a while, but everything fell into a somewhat comfortable routine. I went to my classes, and the Akatsuki more or less behaved and provided for themselves.

That is to say, they stole what they needed, only when they needed it.

I could have protested about their means of making a lving, but despite being somewhat less jumpy around them, I was still twitchy enough to not point it out to their faces. It's not like I could tell them to find honest work, what with practically being illegal immigrants without a paper trail, and I really didn't have enough money to provide for ten other people myself.

That, and can you just imagine some of the Akatsuki turning up for a job interview? Merely thinking about what the reactions to people like Kisame and Zetsu would be would make me burst into mad giggles and earn me stares.

Oops, I think I got the Akatsuki addicted to anime...
