Chapter 5- what the hell happened?
The nurses shout was responded to by the sharp tap tap of boots rushing down the corridor. "What's going on in here?!" Doctor Smith demanded surveying the scene rapidly, noting with great interest the alternate universe spike lying unconscious on the cold hard floor.
"Doctor Smith!...uh we were just…..." Piper began uncertainly
"Stretching!, Phoebe said she needed some exercise" Paige finished for Piper who stood nodding confusingly.
"Is that right" Dr Smith answered. "Well I think that its best that you get back into bed now , if your finished…stretching that is"
"Phoebe? Honey come on lets get you back into bed" Piper said gently seeing that I was still dazzled by what I had gone through. As she reached down and grasped my hand a dull voice spoke over the hospital intercom:
Paging Dr Smith, Dr Smith to room 115
Im sorry Dr Smith said checking his pager as to the origin of his call, I have to take care of this and with that said he left.
"Buffy, what happened where did you go?..." willow asked as she climbed up off the floor with the aid of Xander. "im not sure" Phoebe/Buffy replied "I woke up in a strange hospital and everything was different…there was no home…no Dawn…no Scooby gang…Spike found me wandering the cemetery and…." a groaning from the floor paused conversation as the AU Spike sat up gingerly rubbing his throbbing head gazing round at all present.
"Where the bloody hell am I!" AU spike whispered as he stared at Buffy.
