Previously on The Five Date Experiment;

Hanna tries to tell Caleb that she just wants to be friends but then he tries to kiss her. Someone walks in...

Hanna's POV

"What's going on?"

I looked up, "Uh- Caleb was just leaving" She said

"I am?" He looks at me, then I elbow him in the ribs, "I am." He said

"Okay.." My mom's eyebrows furrowed. Caleb stood up and walked pasted my mom and left.

"What was going on?" She asks me

"What?" I ask

"What was happening before I walked in" My mom crosses her arms.

"Nothing!" I kinda lie

"Nothing? Didn't look like nothing. Did you guys kiss?" She asks more

"No we didn't mom" I sigh at the fact we were before she walked in.

"I thought you and Emily were happy?" She asks

"We are! And if you don't mind, I would like to go up and shower" I try to excuse myself and then turn around and walk up to my room.

"Hanna" She calls behind me, I turn around and look at her, "Don't get hurt okay?" I look at her and nod.

Over night I realize what I did. My ex-boyfriend almost kissed me and I didn't try to stop it. The next day I been avoiding calls from everyone.. I needed to think. I can't possibly still have feelings for him, I love Emily.

I stay in my room, mom let me stay from today. Though, during this time school is probably over. I hear a knock on my door. I open it and see Emily, I smile a little and give her a small kiss then pull away shortly. Holding her hand guiding her to sit next to me on my bed

"You weren't at school today, are you okay?" She said, slowly caressing my hand with her thumb. I love it when she does that.

"Yea, I just didn't feel like coming" I lie. Truth is I didn't want to see her because of last night, what would've happened it my mom didn't walk in?

"Okay, well.. What happened with Caleb?" She asks, "Did he get the idea that you are just friends?" She smiles a little

I don't want to lie.. I can't but I feel like I have too, nothing bad happened anyways.. Right?

"Yea, I told him, we're just friends" I end up lying anyways. She turns and looks at me, she puts her right hand behind my neck, and brushes her lips softly on mines. I close my eyes and kiss back. I pull away from the kiss shortly, touching our foreheads, I see her grin. "I love you Hanna" I want to say I love her back but a part of me can't. I just brush my lips onto hers, kissing her softly.

I pull away again. Her small smile fades away, but she lies her head down on my pillows. I rest my head on her shoulders, pulling her body close to mine. I feel her lips press on my forehead as she wraps her arms around me. I love her, I do. I close my eyes.

I wake up, still in Emily's arms. I look over to my phone, we had a 3 hour nap, though she was still sleeping. I notice that I had a text message, coming from Caleb. I open it and it read, 'Can we talk? Meet me tonight at the brew? - caleb'

It was like 6 right now, I text back, 'How about I meet you now? I'll be on my way - han'

I slowly slide away from Emily's arms; she must have been really tired because she looks like she is taking a really good nap. My phone received a text message, 'Yea see you there - caleb'

I leave the house, leaving Emily in my room alone, but I will be back. I need to tell Caleb that I can't and don't want him anymore. I find myself parked unfront of the Brew. I see Caleb through the windows, I can do this I tell myself as I take a deep breath out the car. I walk in and see him sitting, I take a chair and sit with him.

"Hey" He says

"Caleb, I'm with Emily now, I don't want anything to do with you if you are just going to screw things up with her and I" I tell him

He tucks his lips in, "So this is it?" he says, "Because I know what I did. I left so sudden, and I'm sorry. Though my feelings for you never changed, and I know yours haven't either."

And in that moment I felt like what he was saying was true. He left, and I was torn. I tried moving on, it worked till he came back. I open my mouth to say words that were in my head because I didn't know what else to say. Though I get cut off by my phone ringing. It was Emily.

"I'll be right back" I said as I stand up and took a step outside and answer the phone call. "Hey"

"Babe, where are you?" She says with a voice that sounds like she just woke up, which she most likely did. Though the way she says 'Babe' makes me a little more weak.

"I just needed some air, I'll be home soon okay?" I said.

"No it's fine, I'm just going to head home" She says, then she hangs up. I tap my phone in my hand as I sit back down with Caleb. "I just want us to be friends, okay?" I said

He sighs, "Okay," He stands up, "Just know I will wait no matter what." He said before tucking my hair behind my ear and pressing his lips on my cheek then walks off.

I find my face feeling hot, I walk into my car and drive home.

I walk into my room and find Emily asleep in my covers. "Em?" I wake her up.

"Oh hi" She smiles a little, her eyes half open. "I thought you went home?" I ask, caressing her face.

"I decided to wait for you" She says. I take my jacket off, and change into a tank top and small shorts. I lie down next to her, underneath the covers. We face each other, "So where did you go?" She asks

"Just needed some air, felt really stuffed" I lie. "Well, your face does look kinda flushed" She faces, touching my cheek, stroking it with her thumb. I smile at her, she smiles back. She kisses me, I find myself kissing back, though of a thought of someone else. Caleb. I pull away shortly for the hundredth time. I see the confused look in her eyes and she asks, "Are you okay?"

"Why wouldn't I be?" I say

"Yea, never mind" She says as she turns her body to the other side away from me. Is she hurt? I just wrap my arms around her waist and close my eyes, I feel her hand resting on mine.

Late update I know. I made sure there's drama still so there will be more chapters. A lot of tension will rise in the next few chapters. I was still deciding on ending this shortly or continuing, looks like I'm continuing!
