Previously on tfde, Caleb comes back and gets into Hanna's head.
"Morning" Hanna hears as she wakes up to see a tray of breakfast, in bed. She looks up and grins at Emily, "What did I do to deserve this?" Hanna asks.
"Just felt like doing something, woke up pretty early anyways" Emily says. Hanna smiles sweetly, "You're the best"
Emily smiles back then leans in for a kiss, but Hanna doesn't notice and just eats the food, so Emily backs away. "Did you want some? Here babe" She hands Emily a fork with scrambled eggs on it.
Emily puts up a fake smile then eats the egg. "You are great at cooking, just saying" Hanna says.
"Yea I know" Emily laughs a bit.
Hanna then gets a text message, she opens it, 'Meet me at the swings today at 12pm? Just to hang out and catch up :)? -Caleb
"Hey you want to do something today? It could just be a you and I day, I could skip swim practice?" Emily says
"Uh, I gotta run some errands with my mom" Hanna lies. She didn't even know why she lied, she just did.
'Okay -Hanna' Hanna texts back, then finishes her food.
"Or maybe for the mean time, could just sit here.." Emily says as she lies next to Hanna, "and make out for a little?" Emily tucks her lips in touches foreheads with Hanna.
As their lips were about connect, Hanna couldn't help herself smile. Though the wrongest part of it, she imagined she was going to kiss Caleb. Right before their lips touched, Hanna backs away, "Uh I need- I mean should, brush my teeth first" She says then falls off the bed, landing on her behind.
"Hanna!" Emily says
"I'm.. Okay" Hanna gets back on her feet and cracks her back, then runs in the bathroom, leaving Emily confused a bit.
Stop.. You love her not Caleb. Hanna tells herself as she looks at herself in the mirror in the bathroom
As Hanna comes out the bathroom, she sees Emily on her bed, playing music. "So swim practice isn't till like 12, are you sure you can't cancel in your mom? I feel like we don't have much alone time anymore" Emily says to Hanna.
Hanna site back on the bed, with her fresh minty breath, "I'm sorry, but I'll make it up to you, okay?" Then lays her forehead against Emily's.
"You better" Emily says then wrapped her arms Hanna, and kisses her. Hanna kisses back, but she didn't let go. Did she think of Caleb while kissing Emily? Yes she did. She couldn't help herself. Emily pulls Hanna's body closer and closer, Hanna then straddles on top of Emily, pressing her lips against Emily's pulse point, where it makes Emily crazy. Hanna then kisses Emily's lips more and more, harder and harder, starting to grind on Emily.
Emily's phone then went off, a reminder to ready for practice. "Duty calls"
Then Hanna pouts, only wanting more of Emily, but really, she's thinking of someone else. "Just say the words and I'll stay" Emily rests her hands on Hanna's sides.
"I said I would make it up to you" Hanna said. Then kisses Emily's cheek.
"Well, then I'll see you later? Does tonight sound good?" Emily asks
"Yes sure" Hanna says then climbs off of Emily's lap. Emily leans in and kisses Hanna, then walks to the door, "see you later, love you" she says then closed the door.
"Okay girls, I like to introduce you guys to a new member of our team, Sydney" Coach Parker says, then a girl next to her waves. "Welcome to the Sharks team" coach smiles to Sydney then the girls around claps.
Coach comes up to Emily and says, "Fields, you know you're my favorite swimmer right?"
"Uh yea, sure" Emily chuckles a bit.
"Well, Sydney over there," she looks back to the new girl, "came all the way from Brooklyn. Maybe helping her and being her friend wouldn't be bad?"
"Yea sure. Like I'd hate to be a new girl and having no one" Emily said
"Okay, good job fields" she pays Emily on the back. Emily walks up to the new girl, "hi, I'm Emily" Emily puts her hand out for a handshake.
"Sydney," the new girl shakes her hand and smiles sweetly.
Caleb pushed Hanna on the swing, higher and higher. Laughter rises as Caleb starts to tickle Hanna's sides, "stop" Hanna laughs. As Caleb continues, Hanna just decides to jump off the swing and chase after Caleb.
Hanna caught up behind him but Caleb trips over a bump and fall, causing Hanna to fall on him. Caleb turns around, as his body is underneath Hanna's, "I miss this" he laughs.
"I do too" Hanna smiles and tucks her lips in. Caleb then moves a bit forward and leans in to kiss Hanna. A half a inch away from his lips, Hanna couldn't do it, so she got up. Caleb gets up on his on, "I'm sorry.." He says.
"Yea, yea.. But we can't-"
"Because Emily" Caleb cuts her off as he put his head down.
"I'm sorry.." Hanna said
"I came back for a reason, and you already know what reason. It's you. It's always been you," he caresses Hanna's cheek, "always.." He repeats..
Hanna was speechless, she didn't know what to say, she couldn't do much, considering she is with Emily, who is loves.. Right? He puts his hand under Hanna's cheek then touches Hanna's bottom lip. Hanna holds onto his hand, but takes it off her face. "It's not that easy Caleb.. I can't lose her" Hanna said.
"Then I'll wait.. You know I will" he says putting up a smile. "How about we go and get some food and forget this happened?" He offered.
Hanna smiles a bit, "I'd like that.. A lot" she says
"You did not!" Emily laughs
"I did too!" The new girl, Sydney, laughs along. The two were just done with swimming practice and were changing into their clothes.
"So you're saying you actually shoved dry ice down your ex boyfriend?!" Emily said
"And it burned him like a bitch" Sydney says, "Maybe he should think twice about sneaking around behind my back for 3 months!"
"Well he's a ass. Good thing you guys are done for" Emily says. As Emily finished changing she says, "well see you around,"
"Oh wait," Sydney stops Emily from leaving, "is it okay if we hangout a bit more? I just feel weird being the new girl without friends" she chuckles
"I'd love to, but I'm kinda.." Emily says, "kinda going to hang out with my girlfriend later"
Sydney's eyebrows raised, "O-"
"Yea, I'm gay, shocker?" Emily cuts Sydney off, feeling a bit offended.
"No that's not what I was going to say," Sydney says, "I was going to say .. That I was bi" she chuckles a bit
"Oh," Emily says, "I'm sorry that I snapped, I'm just tired of criticism"
"No don't worry about it. I hate it too," Sydney said, "but I'll see you at practice or around school maybe?"
"Yea, I'd like that," Emily says as she picks her sports bag up and over her shoulder, "See you"
Caleb walks Hanna to her front door, "Thank you" Hanna laughs. "I'd had fun today"
"Yea, anytime," He smiles, "I'm sorry for earlier how I tried to kiss you"
"It's okay," Hanna said and looks down for a second, she doesn't know what she wants with him in the way anymore.
"See you later Han," He said, then leaving. Hanna walks in her house, sighing.
Later that night, Emily had came over to Hanna's. "Hey there" Emily says to her girlfriend at the front door. "Hey" Hanna says then gives a peck on Emily's lips, again, Emily thinking it would last a bit. They went up to Hanna's room, where they usually hang out, and sat next to each other.
"You okay?" Emily asks
"Yea, why wouldn't I be?" Hanna says.
Since Emily didn't want to say she been acting a bit strange, she just ignored it and said, "Nothing, just wondering" She gives a small smile.
"Well how was swim practice? I bet you're tired" Hanna said as she rests her chin on Emily's shoulder.
"Yea but I won't be" Emily says while she turns her head a bit to kiss her. Emily turns her body and slowly work her way to straddle Hanna. Emily presses her lips against Hanna's neck.
"Mmh" Hanna lets out a hum. Emily then captures Hanna's lips again, while her hands enter inside Hanna's shirt. Each moment and touch, Hanna begin to think Caleb, she pulls away from the kiss immediately, "what's wrong?" Emily asks.
"I just uh, I'm just not feeling it tonight.. This.." Hanna said. Emily have a confused look at Hanna then climbs off her, sitting on the she of the bed Hanna sighs, "You're mad"
"No I'm not mad" Emily fixed her shirt. "Then what?" Hanna asks. "I don't know, one moment you could be all over me and the next minute you don't want a me" Emily said then gets off the bed.
"Wait where are you going?" Hanna asks. "I need to start a project for chem" Emily picks her bag and binder up. "See you later" Emily says then walks out the door. "Okay, bye, love yo-" Emily already shut the door behind her.
