25 weeks pregnant Zosia wasn't really looking forward to going to work but she knew that it was only about 4 months before she would have a few weeks off as her and her dad had agreed she would work until she was 40 weeks and then go back when her daughter was 8 weeks as she was going to be able to take her daughter to work and between her mentors and herself they could look after both her daughter and Jac's daughter Isla.

Zosia had just arrived when she was called by Mo to help we a case of a young girl who was confused and was having heart palpations. Zosia was just about the talk the young girl's blood pressure when she suddenly lashed out and whacked Zosia in the stomach which made her fall to the ground and hit her stomach on the edge of the trolley.

Collette was just checking on something with Jonny when they heard the crash and both rushed into the room to find Zosia on the ground holding onto her stomach. Jonny went and sorted out the patient while Collette ordered one of the nurses to get a wheelchair and to page Guy to tell him what had happened. Collette went over to Zosia to get how she was.

"Zosia what happened"

"I was trying to get the blood pressure machine on her arm when she suddenly lashed out and I hit my stomach on the trolley"

"Right I am getting you a wheelchair and we are taking you to a side room and I have had someone page your dad and I will get someone to come down from Maternity to check you over"

"Thanks Collette."

"It's my pleasure darling. Look here's the wheelchair, are you alright to get in"

Zosia got in the wheelchair slowly and was taken to a side room and had just got into bed as her dad arrived.

"Zoshie, what on earth happened?"

"A patient got a bit angry with having their blood pressure and took it out on Zosia"

"I am fine honestly Dad"

"Well then why are you lying in here with tears running down your face?"

"I am just worried about my little girl and also my ribs are hurting as well as my ankle"

"Well there is someone coming down from Maternity and can I just check your ribs and ankle." Guy asked.

"Yes of course you can if you are gentle"

Collette had to return to AAU and Guy had just gone off to get Zosia and him a hot chocolate. Zosia was sat in bed when suddenly she got a shooting pain …

She let out a little yelp and both Guy and Jac rushed in as they had both heard her.

"Zoshie what's wrong"

"I had a shooting pain across my stomach but it's gone now"

"Was it like a tightening pain?"

"No it was just like someone had stepped on my stomach"

At that moment the person from Maternity arrived and then bursting through the door Arthur arrived. Jac looked very puzzled as to Arthur presence.

"Zosia I just heard of Collette, are you ok and what about the baby"

"We were just going to find out, if you want to stay" Zosia snapped back.

The sonographer then put the cold jelly on Zosia's stomach and started the scan,

"Is everything ok" Arthur butted in

"Yes everything looks fine; the baby is well cushioned so it hasn't been affected by the fall"

It then clicked with Jac, Arthur was the dad.

Zosia then asked her dad if she could have 5 minutes with Arthur before he examined her ribs and ankle.

"Why didn't you get someone to come and tell me about what had happened?"

"Because I was in too much pain and I thought you didn't really want to be involved"

"Of course I do, I will do whatever you want at whatever time of day or night"

Zosia then saw that Arthur did want to be involved in their daughter's life. Guy then re-entered as Arthur left. He first checked her ribs which he declared were just bruised and then he looked at her ankle and he saw how swollen they were.

"Zoshie how long have your ankles been like this"

"Since we got back from Scotland"

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I asked Mr T and he said that it was normal and he would just monitor them"

"Ok well I think you may have sprained your ankle, do you think you will be ok with crutches for a few days or do you think a wheelchair will be easier."

"Depends can I walk on the ankle"

"Yes as long as you don't put all your weight through it"

Guy then went to get Zosia a pair and crutches and an air cast boot to walk around in"

"Zosia I am booking you the rest of the day off and depending in how you feel tomorrow I will evaluate if you are fit to work or not. Understood."
