I feel so sorry in doing this to sexy Ryo! :(
Well...y'all enjoy!
Chapter 2: Chained and Tortured
Ryo awoke with pain and chill. Only then did he realize what was causing it once he was fully awake.
He was chained to a sharp brick wall, his arms over his head already numb. He no longer wore his armor or sub-armor. He was also shirtless of his civilian wear and shoeless. All he had on were his civilian pants.
He also realized that his ankles were cuffed as well.
He tried to break free of his restraints, but as he did, they felt as if they grew tighter with ever pull.
That only increased the pain he felt already.
Feeling that sharp wall with his back, he gently laid his head onto it. He wondered what these demons wanted of him. They seemed to have already his armor. What more do they want?
Maybe, because they were demons, getting what they want wasn't enough?
Those they took whatever from just might not be worthy to keep alive?
Then again, he was a Ronin Warrior! Of course evil would want him dead! That way if the others came to rescue him, there would be no one to save. And if the others were to get the Wildfire armor back, there would be no one to reclaim it.
The wildfire armor was the strongest of the five; it was the only one that could call upon the White Inferno armor.
Ryo silently cursed at himself, then thought, 'I hope the guys can figure a way around these demon's powers and fight them without me. Because if they come too late, I may not be here.'
Ryo looked around the somewhat small cell and noticed that there was very little light illuminating into the room. The light was coming from a medium sized window that had bars vertical and parallel to each other.
He didn't know how high his cell was from the ground. All he knew was he wasn't completely underground or underground at all, thanks to the window.
A few moments later, Ryo heard footsteps on concrete. By the sounds of them, it sounded like two to three people were heading his way.
The footsteps stopped, he heard locks being undone, and then he heard a very creaky door opening.
He looked over at the seemingly heavy door and saw three shadowy figures enter his cell.
"Well, well, well. Look who decided to wake up," one of the three demons said.
They were still hidden in the shadows so Ryo didn't know who spoke.
"Uh, yeah. No thanks to you."
One of them moved into the light and Ryo assumed it was the one who spoke. "I'm not one of them who brought you here."
Ryo gasped. "You're human!"
"I'm only part human. The other part is dragon."
"Dragon?"
"Yes. It was a curse until my family decided to take advantage of the great power."
"Then what the hell do you want with me," Ryo asked with a raised eyebrow?
"Your five armors share the same powers as the dragons. And we want to reclaim what is rightfully ours."
"What are you talking about? Just because our armors share the same powers as you, doesn't mean they belong to you!"
"No one is to share our gifts! They are ours and ours alone!"
"Now, aren't we cocky," Ryo said sarcastically. "Our armor has been around for a thousand plus years. What does that say about you now?"
"It says nothing. We have been around for two thousand plus years."
'Oh, that explains a lot,' Ryo thought to himself. 'These beings are so full of themselves! I can't believe they think just because someone has similar powers as them, that only they can have them! This is ridiculous!'
"Will, good for you," Ryo toned. "But just to tell you, we all use those powers differently: you use your powers for evil, and my friends and I use them for good. So just to point it out…the only ones who shouldn't have the powers we do is, you and your family."
Suddenly, the half-dragon brought his right hand up and clenched it slowly, forcing Ryo's chains to tighten.
Ryo screamed in pain.
"Wrong answer." He clenched his fist tighter.
"STOP," Ryo screamed in more agony!
The demon stopped and said, "Your armors are connected to you. You need to force your armor to me, and the other four armors may fallow.
"Though I was able to take your armor from you, that is not enough."
Still getting over the excruciating pain, Ryo tried speaking. "The armors…chose us…as their bearers. We…can't…just…force them…away." He swallowed, his mouth growing dry from his screams. "Even…if you kill us…they'll search…for new chosen ones."
"Then, once I have all your armors, I'll just hide them away so they couldn't "find" their new "chosen ones."
"You're an idiot!"
A hidden chain suddenly wrapped around Ryo's throat, choking him.
"You better watch what you say boy! You can end up dead right here and now!"
"Go ahead then! I'm not afraid to die! Neither of us Ronin Warriors are!" Ryo said, struggling to speak.
The half-demon smiled, "Have you been tortured before? You seem to be enjoying this."
"Enjoying this? Who the hell would enjoy being tortured?"
"You're the one…What's the word? Badmouthing?"
"What would you like me to be? Nice? Want me to say thank you for capturing me, chaining me up, and taking my armor away?"
"Either way it is, until you hand over the armors, your torture will not stop."
Ryo looked down closing his eyes, a tear escaping. He couldn't do that to his friends, to the civilians he had sworn to protect.
'I guess I'm going to have to die to save everyone. If that's what it takes, then so be it! This half-demon will never get the armors!'
"If that's the way you want it, that's your choice," the half-dragon said.
Ryo didn't say anything.
"Let's see how you'll handle this kind of torture." He raised his hands over the Wildfire Bearer and fire came rushing out of his fingertips.
Ryo felt the pain, but got no burns thanks to his armor still protecting him from wherever it was.
"At least you can still feel the burning sensation even with your so-called armor still trying to protect you."
Ryo breathed heavily. How long was he going to be able to hold out on this? Was he going to die today?
More of the half-dragon's fire power came at him and he screamed.
"I have plenty more tortures in store just for you, until you're ready to talk."
Ryo looked at him through bleary eyes. 'I won't…give in.'
Please leave your reviews! No flames, and certainly no haters on Ryo! Thanks!
