Episode 2.4:
The Winds of Change

"You don't think..." Rebekah said not sure what to think.

"He's not breathing! I can't feel his pulse or hear his heartbeat, sister.." he said, "I won't lose him! I WON'T!" Kol said pulling out his wrist and pierced his skin with his fangs and began feeding Jame his blood hoping it'll revive him in-time before it was too late.

But still Jame remained lifeless in his resurrected lover's arms, as Rebekah joined her brother at his side kneeling down. "Kol...I'm so-" said Rebekah poignantly releasing a tear for Jame now too, but found herself being interrupted by a loud gasping of air.

Kol and Rebekah looked down at Jame, who instantly sprang to life opening his eyes panting heavily looking around frantically sitting up right away. "Fuck...that was close." Jame said out loud catching his breath.

"KOL?!" called the warlock instantly and then turning around to see, if his spell was successful and he saw Kol kneeling there behind him with Rebekah.

"Kol?!" he repeated making sure his eyes were not deceiving him.

Kol wiped his eyes, "You did it, Jay..I'm back!" he answered warmly.

Jame couldn't help but pull Kol close and instead of hugging him, he kissed the original male on his lips strongly throwing his arms around the back of his neck surprising the vampire but he didn't seem to be putting up much resistance closing his eyes and wrapping his arms around him hugging him tightly kissing the warlock back.

Rebekah couldn't help but smile to herself thinking it was kind of sweet and such. "Alright you two! Break it up!" she said with a snicker.

The two lovers brought their kiss to an end letting their foreheads gently press up against the other's looking into the one another's eyes. The vampire stroked the side of Jame's face slowly, "I thought I lost you.." he said honestly having been genuinely scared for him.

The warlock smiled a little to himself, "I see. Well maybe next time, you should have a little faith in me eh?" replied Jame with a confident grin forming across his lips before wiping the blood away from them.

"God, blood tastes awful.." he chuckles softly. Kol just laughs a little but before hugging the witch again and stroking the back of his hair.

"Thank you." said the original vampire softly, who was full of nothing but gratitude and appreciation for what the Blackwell witch had just done for him.

Jame smiled gently to himself hugging his lover back, "You're welcome. Now we can be together for real." added the younger male.

An hour later while Kol was showering the blond original vampire; Rebekah Mikaelson approached Jame in the attic, while he was packing everything up into his family's trunk. The blond walked around the attic suspiciously causing Jame to stop what he was doing and stood upright, as he looked over his shoulder at Rebekah.

"What is it Rebekah?" he asked turning around on his heal to face her.

"I think you know don't you?" she asked the warlock.

Jame snickered a bit to him folding his large muscular arms across his chest, "You want to know how I survived don't you?" responded the 24-year old.

"Maybe." she said walking up to him and then looking him over, "Let's just say..most witches I know died from any kind of resurrection spell. You know the whole life for a life thing? Balance and all that fun stuff, you witches just love to enforce." explained Rebekah with a curious smirk.

"Just who are you exactly?" questioned Rebekah firmly.

Jame smirks a little to himself: "Come now Rebekah, let's not fight. After all, I've protected you and Hope out of the goodness of my own heart and now I brought Kol back for you and myself. Why don't we just leave it at that eh?" insisted Jame not wanting to really start something here.

"You know I'd love too..but.." she said stepping forward grabbing Jame's throat. "Why should I trust you? Sure, you've done a lot for me and my family and I thank you for that." she paused looking the surprisingly calm Blackwell witch despite his current position.

"But I've been around long to know when it comes to your species that something always comes with a price. So maybe I should kill you now and take my brother and be on my way. Problem solved." Rebekah said applying more pressure causing Jame's face to become a little red starting to suffocate him.

Jame looked at Rebekah grabbing her wrist and then used his free hand with his palm facing up and pushed it forward launching her across the attic into the nearby wall behind her with impressive impact creating a large crater of destroyed plaster.

Jame stared at the original vampire intensely, as Rebekah slowly look up at him her facing beginning to change baring her fangs and raced towards Jame at impressive speed looking to kill him or at least inflict some serious hurt onto the warlock, but found her way blocked when Kol appeared out of nowhere upon hearing the impact from earlier and pushed her back onto the floor wearing just a pair of pyjama pants and no shirt though his hair was still damp from his newly finished shower.

"Rebekah?! What the hell do you think your doing?!" Kol said angrily at his younger sister's attack on his new life partner.

Rebekah flips her long; golden locks over her shoulder and gets back up onto her feet growling at her brother. "Why don't you ask you're little boy toy behind you?" suggested the original. "He's not who he seems Kol.." she further added.

Jame just folds his arms across his chest looking at Rebekah before averting his gaze back to Kol, who turned around to face him: "I know who he is Rebekah." he said turning back around to face his sister remaining serious.

"Oh really? Then tell me how he survived that spell! He should be dead!" screamed Rebekah.

Kol sighed and then felt Jame's hand on his bare shoulder turning his head to look at him, "It's okay Kol. I can tell her." he said calmly.

"Jame, you don't have too. It's none of her business." the vampire replied firmly.

"WHAT? None of my business? It is my business, when it involves member of our family Kol!" growled Rebekah angrily not impressed by her brother's disregard of her.

"That's rich coming from you little sister. The same sister, who didn't even mourn my death or Finn's for that matter!" Kol said now in his sister's face looking her down intensely keeping his anger in-check with Jame looking on.

The blond's eyes begin to water looking away knowing her brother was right not sure how to respond to him. "What's the matter little sister? CAN'T SPEAK!?" he yelled the rage burning in his eyes, "CAN'T LOOK AT ME?!" he said grabbing the lapels of her leather jacket roughly seething.

"Kol.." Jame said stepping forward, "It's not worth it. Come on.." he added softly gently pulling his lover away from his sister looking to calm him down. Kol took a deep breath letting go of his younger sibling letting Jame lead him away from her.

Rebekah watched the two men leave before she fell to her knees breaking down with her hand over her mouth closing her eyes, as streams of tears began to move down the sides of her face knowing what Kol had said was true, she never mourned him or their brother Finn and it tore her apart.

Jame had led Kol back into his bedroom closing the door behind them, as Kol screamed in anger and punched Jame's wool without breaking a sweat creating a large hole. He began to breath heavily slowly removing his now bloody fist from the hole, which soon began to rapidly heal.

"None of them mourned me, Jame. Not a single one nor did they do the same for my brother, Finn." he said turning around to face the witch: "I'm going to make them pay Jay. Vengeance will be mine, but I can't do it without you Jay." added Kol honestly walking up to the man before him and placing both his hands on the side of Jame's neck.

"Come with me to New Orleans. Help me take down my siblings? Especially Niklaus." he growled at the mention of his older brother's name. "Together, we can take him down. Plus there's someone I want you to meet.." Kol said with a smirk.

Jame raised his eyebrow, "Who?" he asked curiously.

Kol snickered to himself before breaking his silence: "My Uncle." answered Kol softly with a sinister grin looking deeply into Jame's eyes starting to smile evilly now hoping Jame would join him in New Orleans.
