Chapter 11
Halloween Part 2
Okay, I looked on the calender, and found that Halloween should have come after Homecoming. Since this is a fictional story, I will as usual, make Homecoming the weekend after. Next chapter will be SU2C and the Homecoming chapter, so I'll have both, ND and CH merging together.
Also, I have a shout-out going to gleegurl100 because after she left a review, an idea immediately popped in my head, so the first POV will be Abbie. Also, Linneagb thank you as well. If I have any Austin & Ally fans, I have a fan-fiction that I'm writing if anyone wants to check it out.
Also, because, I took forever to write this, I will leave this as a deleted scene. I do those a lot. Anyways, next chapter will be a November chapter, and be what I mentioned at the beginning of this chapter, or well, deleted scene, all I have for ideas on that so far, is well, it will be longer than this so called chapter, and Kasen and Connor will come up with a plan for Nationals.
-McKinley Radio-
[Abbie]
I walk through the maze, and all I can wonder why the school took an entire day off to this Halloween Fest, or whatever it was being called. I admit, I was shocked that Sue hadn't banned this day because it would interrupt well whatever it would interrupt.
Sure, I was wearing the Cheerios uniform again, even after saying that I wouldn't. I take a turn, and bam, would you guess that I would see?
"NOAH PUCKERMAN!" I scold loudly enough, that I was sure probably everyone in the maze could hear me scold my older brother. "What the Halloween Town are you doing here?" I ask before he could say anything.
"Gees, is that how they say hello these days?" he asks, sarcastically, and then laughs.
"A I'm coming to town would have been nice," I tell back, as I'm still upset at him, but for some reason, I could never stay mad at my older brother.
"Jake was supposed to tell you," he tells you. "I see he didn't," he adds, as he gets up from the hay bale that he was sitting on.
"Jake, and I aren't on talking terms at the moment," I tell my older brother, as he throws his Letterman jacket on, as the autumn air begins to take it's affect, and the wind picks up.
"How does Assistant Coach sound?" he asks, as he braces me into a hug, and I swear I heard my brother cry. Finn never cried, unless, he felt he had to.
"I think that sounds great," I tell him happily, as I break away from the hug.
"Good, because, I didn't say no," he tells me as we turn left, only to find out it was a dead end, and I begin to laugh. Matter of fact, we both laugh.
[Nathaniel]
"Nate!" I hear Caroline call out, as I finally meet up with her at the maze. I was late, but that tends to happen when you have to drop off things at the office.
"I'm sorry I'm late, I had to drop by the office, and all that fun jazz," I tell her, as we show the senior attendants our student ID's and they let us throw the entrance of the maze.
"So you going to the dance tonight?" I ask curiously, as we turn right and reach our first dead end.
"Who isn't?" she asks, and then giggles a little bit. I smile, as I begin to realize, I might have started falling for her, and then look her in the eyes, and smile.
"Well, Car, would you like to attend the dance with me?" I ask hopefully and then look down at my black Chuck Taylor's.
"Of course," she tells me with a smile. I liked her.
[Hero]
"You showed up!" I protest happily, as I see Thurston, and give him a hug. First, I looked to see if Corey was around to witness that. I didn't want him to wonder.
"Of course, why wouldn't I?" he asks me, as he looks into my eyes.
"Well the activities are over, and all that remains is the dance. Who are you, anyways?" I ask him, as we walk into the gym together.
"Quicksilver. X-Men, Avenger, Magneto's son," he tells me happily, as though it had been obvious.
"Right. I knew that," I tell him, as I jokingly punch him in the shoulder. Then Corey, and Harmony come walking over to us, and I see that he's holding her hand.
"Are you two a couple now?" I ask, as I smile, at my former boyfriend, and look him in the eyes.
"Kind of. I guess," he tells her. Then we hear Violet in the corner.
"No Sara! I know about it, and you knew how much this meant to me. Instead, your off sleeping with that other chick. We're done," Violet announces on her cell phone, in which, being her, I had wondered when she got one. That was the last I had seen of her before she went outside.
"Are those two fighting?" I ask confused, as I noticed that Corey hadn't followed her out, but instead, kissed Harmony on her forehead, and the she giggled over something.
"Go on, go dance. Maybe even start the Moonwalk," Thurston jokes to Corey, as he spikes his dyed blonde hair, and takes my hand.
"What are you her new boyfriend?" Corey asks assuming. Before Thurston could say anything, I could feel the tension between the two. "Because, she already has a boyfriend," he adds.
"Dude, chill. I know," he assures Corey, and heads over to the refreshment stand.
[Tayson]
Just give me a reason,
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second, we're not broken
I walk in on Andy singing. I knew the song. Hell, who doesn't?
"You should join ND again," I suggest to him, as start to take off my costume, and I was beyond stoked to be back to myself, and I could see Gwen, as myself.
"Have you told her yet?" Andy asks avoiding my question.
"What do you mean?" I ask wondering, though, I was sure as to what he had meant.
"Telling her how you feel about her," he tells me, then I knew he meant me and Gwen. I didn't answer. I didn't have to. Then my cell phone went off. It was Gwen.
"Why don't you tell Abby how you feel about her?" I ask, as I open the cell phone, and text Gwen back, saying that I would be in the gym in a few minutes.
That was when Andy, and I had heard it. The echo of what sounded like gun shots. Then we look at each other wondering if they were or not.
"We're in the locker room, so I'm sure it was just a sound affect from the dance," Andy assures me, and then gets back to dressing down to his jeans and McKinley Soccer hoodie.
"We should check it out just in case," I tell him. He agrees, as he exit the boys locker room, and go to the girls locker room. We knock first.
"Help. I've been shot," I hear a girl cry out. Then we know that it wasn't a sound effect.
"We're here to help. I'm Tayson, and this is Andy. Where have you been shot?" my voice announces with worry, as I step inside the locker room.
"In the back," she announces, as I walk over to her.
"Alright, remain quiet. I'll call 911. Andy, stay with her," I call over to the soccer captain. First before anything, I text Gwen.
GUNMAN. SHOT ONE PERSON, and immediately call 911, I already know, that any minute, the gunman could come back.
A couple of minutes later, I hear another gunshot. This time behind me, and pain suddenly going through my leg. Then the shooter walks away, headed towards the gym. There had been more than one shooter.
I hadn't gotten a text from Gwen yet. Now I was worried.
"Andy, you alright?" I ask, as I open the girls locker room door a bit, as I sound worried. I was.
"Yeah, man, I'm fine. The police, and rescue, are on the way. I texted, and tweeted, and posted on Facebook, and never left Jess," he answers me, as it sounded like he was trying to hold back tears.
Jess tried to speak again. Andy does the right thing to tell her not to speak. Now I could see why he was soccer captain.
"I've been shot, so there goes the Marines after graduation," I tell him, as I weakly smile.
"Is Abby alright?" I ask curiously, as our eyes meet, and I apply some rope around my leg. I didn't know anything about medical, but it was something I heard that would work.
"I hope so. I haven't heard gunshots for a while," Andy points out.
"How about Gwen?" he asks, as we stay with Jess.
"I texted her, but haven't heard anything. She was supposed to meet me here," I tell him. I realize that this is the most talking that we have ever done. Then my cell phone went off, and I hope that it's Gwen.
I know this was a short chapter. Anyhow, I do have more plans for the shooting part of this, so next chapter. EVERYONE will have a POV in this.
