A/N: Well, here we are, the finale. After another season of opinions, polls, and drama, we've hit the end. Tonight, a winner will be crowned, and two more houseguests will walk out of the Big Brother house without the grand prize. But, before we begin, I'd like to say a few things about this season.

Thank you to everyone for surpassing my goal of 200 reviews. It means the world to me that we have exceeded 240 reviews, which is something I never dreamed a work of mine could achieve on this site.

I want to apologize for my sporadic updates. I know I promised a lot of things (Jury Chapter, more drawn-out finale.) But with everything that's going on in my life, I didn't find time to update and lost my way with this story. I need everyone to know that I am sorry for that.

Without further ado, I present to you, the finale of Big Brother: Chai Kingdom…

Previously on Big Brother: Chai Kingdom

At the advent of the summer, twelve brand new houseguests checked into the Big Brother: Chai Kingdom house for a summer of crazy antics and heated drama. With the goal of 500,000 coins floating in their dreams, each concocted their own plans on how to reach the end. However, like any good plan, they were soon met with twists and changes that rocked the way they had wanted to play the game.

The season began with a short-lived showmance between musician Vivian Umbrae and letter sorter Koops Shelle. While the passions burned bright, the threat of a power alliance spooked one of the other houseguests, and the star-crossed lovers were soon split sooner than they had bargained for.

With a unanimous vote against her, Vivian left the Big Brother house first.

"It's official Vivian," Chen T. declared. "You have been evicted from the Big Brother house."

However, what comes up, must go down. On the heels of his reign as Head of Household, professional kart racer Diddy Kong was met with a stalemate. His physical prowess put a target on his back, and as new foes ascended to the ranks of power, Diddy soon became their next choice.

"It's official Diddy, you've been evicted from the Big Brother house."

As the dust settled from the first few weeks in the house, alliances soon became clear. Born again starlet Flurrie Windings crafted a powerful female alliance between herself, news reporter Jojora Teeheena, and the seemingly ditzy engineer, Di.

Not all was as it seemed. Di's bubbly persona was merely a façade, and the woman revealed herself to be one of the smartest houseguests around. Opposed by political consultant Shokora Aiko, Di found herself an even match. Shokora, despite her physical and mental prowess, became a blip on everyone's radar, and the citizen of the Golden Pyramid found herself eschewed before long.

"Shokora, it's official. You have been evicted from the Big Brother house."

Like dominoes, the women began to fall. Shokora's departure lead to the blackballing of her main ally, Plum. Without a friend to turn to, the golfer found herself evicted in no time.

"It's official Plum," Chen T. stated with a solemn nod. "You have been evicted from the Big Brother house."

Becoming the first member of the jury, Plum would have a hand in deciding the winner of this game. Following her out the door was the third woman evicted in a row. After Jojora seized power, son of Bowser, Junior Koopa, flipped the script and gained the power to dethrone Jojora in a spicy competition. Without power, Jojora was unable to save one of her allies, and Di bit the dust.

"It's official Di. You have been evicted from the Big Brother house."

Despite the bonds formed early in the game, alliances began to crumble. Powerhouse alliance, "The Wrecking Crew", found themselves imbalanced with authority, and construction worker Spike dissented from the group. His sneaky coalition with Toad and Koops caused the whole operation to implode, and both Spike and his ally Toad were ousted from the game in a roaring double eviction night.

"Spike. You have been evicted from the Big Brother house," said Chen T.

"It's official Toad. You are evicted from the Big Brother house."

With just five houseguests left, the game grew intense. Social starlet Flurrie combated the tight alliance of Dry Bones and Junior with her ally Jojora. In the middle, Koops became a swing vote. Seizing the power, Dry Bones and Junior were able to evict Flurrie, knocking the numbers in their direction.

"Flurrie, you have been evicted from the Big Brother house."

With just four left, Jojora claimed power as it went back up for grabs. Plotting to eliminate Dry Bones, the blue fairy's plans backfired when Junior won the Veto and remained loyal to his skeletal compatriot. Without a means to defend her remaining ally, Jojora could only watch as Junior evicted Koops.

"It's official Koops, you have been evicted from the Big Brother house."

Tonight, three remain. One shall be evicted, one shall settle for second, and one shall walk away with the 500,000 coin prize and the title as winner of Big Brother: Chai Kingdom!

Episode 23: The Final Showdown

As the front door closed behind Koops, the remaining three players silently moved over to the memory wall. As a small huddle, they watched Koops' picture fade from resplendence to black and white. His time in the house was up, and soon, their time would be up as well. The game was ever approaching the end, and with just three players left, finale night would be upon them soon.

"I'm sure tomorrow will be a big day," Dry Bones surmised. "Why don't we all get some sleep?"

"I might stay up for a bit," Jojora replied. "Think about some things."

Jojora: Never did I imagine I'd make it this far. However, I don't have a shot if I failed to win the final HOH competition. Neither Dry Bones nor Junior would take me to the end, because I know I have the votes of Di, Toad, Flurrie, and Koops. That's enough to win the game.

As Jojora removed herself from the scene to go take a shower, Dry Bones and Junior chatted at the kitchen counter.

"She's got this if she wins the final comp," Junior said, exhaling slowly. "We can't let her win."

"Trust me," Dry Bones grimaced. "If she wins, I'll be the one out of here, not you."

"Still, we'd both lose to her," Junior explained. "Either way, she's got to go."

Junior: While it is true I schemed against Dry last round, I solidified my alliance with him by evicting Koops. I had the chance to betray him, but I didn't. I think that speaks a lot about how loyal I am, and if I'm in the final two, I'll definitely use that point to my advantage.

Not much occurred with the procession of the night. The three remaining houseguests went to sleep, and in the morning, they awoke to a scrumptious banquet honoring their achievements.

Dry Bones: It was amazing not to have to cook for once! All summer long I've been whipping up three meals a day for these people. I've probably cooked over 500,000 coins in ingredients!

The spread was enormous. There was enough food to feed the Mushroom Kingdom army. Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, hash browns, fresh fruit, biscuits, waffles, nearly every breakfast food imaginable was laid out. There was some champagne as well, the first time the bubbly beverage had been served since all twelve houseguests had met on the first night.

"This reminds me of the first day," Jojora commented. "There were so many more faces with us then."

Her speech prompted them to gaze at the memory wall while they ate. Vivian, Diddy, Shokora, Plum, Di, Spike, Toad, Flurrie and Koops all looked back at them with colorless faces. The thought was a bit saddening, but at the same time, it reinforced the idea that they had made it this far and their adversaries had not. Enemies or allies, the nine houseguests who had fallen on the ascent to the final three had served to propel each of the remaining houseguests in some way.

"What do you miss most about them?" Dry Bones asked the other two, craning his neck towards the memory wall.

"I miss the fights Shokora and Spike used to have! Those were so entertaining!" Junior cried, wiping a tear from his eye in laughter. Jojora could not stifle a chuckle, so she too joined the son of Bowser in mirth.

"He would wake up each morning and brew that coffee," Jojora remembered. "Shokora wouldn't give the man the benefit of the doubt!"

"She even made him sleep on the couches longer than he should have," Dry Bones laughed. The three remembered Shokora for her tenacity.

"Remember when Shokora went insane during the first competition? She was hopping around like a madwoman!" Junior exclaimed, chewing on some crispy bacon. He liked most of his food crispy, the way his dad served it.

"How could anyone forget that?" Jojora asked. "She sure was a spirit."

"Not as much as Di," Dry Bones pointed out. "That girl was a party animal for sure."

His comment prompted Jojora to laugh, but she kept the red fairy's secret. If the Sprixie wanted to keep her plot to herself, Jojora would let her. It wouldn't do her game any good at this point to reveal Di had been lying about her airy persona.

"While Di was quite the partier, Flurrie always kept the spotlight on herself," Junior grumbled. "It was kind of frustrating. She always felt like she had to say something."

"Flurrie's probably the nicest woman I've ever met," Jojora combated. "How could anyone deny that? Her performance in the karting challenge proves it!"

"She has a point," Dry Bones said with a nod. "I didn't expect the oldest houseguest to beat us all in a kart race!"

The three shared laughter over that memory of Flurrie. Moving on with the memories of the season, Junior brought up the season's sizzling showmance.

"Poor Vivian," Junior said with a frown. "Someone here blew her schemes, and she winded up losing first!"

"Showmances are powerful," Jojora replied with a fierce nod. "Hello? Mario and Peach? Those two made it quite far despite their ups and downs. If I'd let Vivian stay here a week longer, she would have probably run the gamut with the alliances she could've made."

"But, Koops sure did redeem himself. He won a ton of challenges, and he made fourth despite all the bad publicity his early actions garnered him," Dry Bones explained. In that light, Koops did seem like a true hero of the sport.

Their reflections concluded, the trio enjoyed the morning. The feast had been devoured, and now they prepped themselves for the coming challenge. The final HOH competition would be split into three parts. The first third would be an endurance style competition, with the winner directly advancing to the final round. The second third would be a skill style competition, with the winner of that facing off against the winner of the first round in a quiz style competition. The trio of games ahead would be fierce, and the winner would automatically have a seat in the final two, able to contend for the 500,000 coins against the jury of seven.

"Houseguests!" The voice of Chen T. cried over the loudspeaker. "Please proceed to the backyard for the first part of the final Head of Household competition!"

The crescendo died down as soon as it came. With a nervous glance, the three houseguests donned their athletic clothes and proceeded into the backyard. The sight before them was quite marvelous.

The floor and the walls had been modeled after the cosmos. In the background, stars and lumas had been painted on the walls. Before them lay three spinning handles, connected to the ceiling. The set up was simple, but the galactic decorations made this competition seem out of this world.

Unsure of what to do, the houseguests received direction via the loudspeaker.

"Congratulations on reaching the final three! In just a moment, we will begin the first part of the three part final Head of Household competition! It's been a wonderful season, but all good things must come to an end. Before you lay three revolving handles. Please, grab onto one with both hands."

Stepping forward, the houseguests selected their handles. With a cry of surprise, each houseguests ascended just a few feet off the matted ground.

"This competition is called – Spaced Out, and here's how it works. With the timer begins, each of you must hold on to the revolving handle and stay off the ground for as long as possible. As time passes, various things may occur to try and shake you off. If you let go of the handle and touch the ground, you are out of the competition. The last houseguest to remain holding onto their handle will win the first part of the three part Head of Household competition and advance directly to the third round. Does everyone understand?"

They all replied with confirmations of their understanding.

"Good. Might I say good luck, houseguests. This challenge begins now."

The timer let out a loud buzz, and the competition went underway. Each of the three remaining houseguests clung onto one of the handles, hoping and praying they would be the last one hanging on.

Outside the Big Brother house, the cameras flashed. Bathing in the spotlight, Chen T. held the microphone to her lips for the countless time this season. Parting her soft lips, the starlet welcomed the audience to the live show.

"Over the past summer, we've encountered a myriad of interesting and original houseguests. Nine have fallen, and now just three remain. It's been a whimsical journey, but tonight, it ends. Soon, we will have a winner crowned, but not before a string of dramatic events that will shake the fate of this game!" Chen T. announced.

"I'm Chen T., and this is Big Brother: Chai Kingdom!"

The studio audience cheered and clapped, hollering for Chen T. and the show. The hardcore fans had all gathered for the finale. Just three houseguests remained within the walls of the house, and the audience was here to witness the crowning of a winner.

"But first," Chen T. said with a wink. "They may have been evicted, but they certainly hold power in this game. Let's check out the Jury House with a very special guest. Last season's winner, Rosalina Skye is here to chat with the jury about who they want to see win this game!"

The fans cheered as the camera panned to the JumboTron, switching over to a scene of the Jury House.

Outside the jury house, five houseguest sat amongst two sofas, chatting intermittently. In between the two sofas was a large chair, which the jurors wondered about for some time. All the while, they talked about the drama and dreams that had unfolded over the course of the competition. On the right sofa sat Plum, Di, and Toad. On the left sofa sat Flurrie and Spike.

Just as Flurrie was about to say something, they heard the backdoor to the jury house close.

"My, my," the retired actress said. "I wonder who that could be!"

"Perhaps the sixth juror?" Plum offered. "I sure hope it's Junior."

"Guess again!" Rosalina chirped, sashaying in from the walk. The cosmic beauty was wearing her trademark color. Her platinum hair swept across her angular face. She was truly beautiful. However, she was also last season's winner. With a cheer, the jurors welcomed her.

"I did not expect this!" Toad marveled. "To think we would get to meet Rosalina!"

"Her visit can only mean we're drawing close to the end," Di commented. "What's going on?"

"Well, I might as well say why I'm here," Rosalina explained. "I've come to help you formulate the questions you're going to ask the final two on finale night. But first, we must welcome the penultimate jury member."

"Who do you think it is?" Rosalina asked the group.

"As I said," Plum huffed. "I hope it's Junior. He's done nothing but play dirty."

"I hope to see Dry Bones!" Di commented. "He's been playing a sneaky game."

"I'd like to see Junior evicted," Toad supplied. "He's been disloyal."

"The same could be said for you," Spike grumbled at the college student. "I hope it's Jojora. She betrayed her promise to Koops and Toad, and I fail to respect that."

"How uncouth!" Flurrie declared. "I hope it is Junior we see."

"Well, let's find out," Rosalina said with a mischievous smile. She turned to face the back of the jury house. The door opened, and the last houseguest anyone expected to walk through did.

"Koops!" Toad wailed, mourning his ally's elimination. "What happened!?"

"There's a lot to talk about," the letter sorter said with a chuckle. "Some quick deals were made, and someone got cold feet. At the end of the day, here I am."

"It's good to see you," Plum said to Koops. "Despite the circumstances." Koops nodded in agreement, happy to see his eliminated friends, but also wishing he was still in the running for the money.

"Let's get down to it, shall we?" Rosalina offered. "We have a lot to discuss. First off, let's talk about who should win the money?"

"I definitely think Jojora should!" Di cried out in glee. "She's so nice!"

"Nice?" Koops hissed, immediately giving his opinions despite just arriving. "She ruined my relationship with Vivian! She promised me I'd be safe this week! She bounced back on the alliance she made with Toad and I! She is anything but nice!"

"She never had an alliance with you and Toad," Flurrie pointed out. "It's a fact, dear. She only helped you out a few times. That does not warrant her responsibility when you make poor game moves."

"Listen to this," Toad sighed in annoyance. "Some failed actress is giving my gameplay a review. Sounds like a bitter grandma if you ask me."

"Bitter?" Flurrie recoiled. "I am anything but bitter. Despite my alliance with Jojora, I would cast my vote for Dry Bones. He rivaled me in strength during this game, and if he sat at the end, I would give him my vote."

"I'll believe it when I see it," Spike grumbled. "As things stand, I only see you voting for Jojora. Me? I'd vote for Junior. While Dry Bones has been playing hard, Junior has been loyal. He may have played dirty, but he never once broke his word."

"That's a load of crap!" Plum spat. "Junior's done nothing but abandon those who relied upon him!"

"That's not entirely true," Koops pointed out. "Jojora gave Junior the tasty option of eliminating Dry Bones. He and I were sitting next to one another, and Junior chose to give me the axe. He remained loyal to Dry Bones."

"He never sold me out!" Spike combated. "That was Dry Bones."

"How does everyone feel about Dry Bones?" Rosalina moderated.

"He's scum!" Di shouted. "That sneaky chef has been plotting our downfalls for months now! If he slithers his way into the final two, no way am I giving him the money!"

"What if he was up against Junior?" Rosalina questioned.

"Well…I'd have to consider it," Di said with a glum face. The red fairy wanted neither Junior nor Dry Bones to win. She was in Jojora's corner.

"I like these opinions," Rosalina said. "We're going to need to talk about the many facets of this game to make a decision. Are you ready?"

After a chorus of affirmatives, the cameras panned out of the jury house. It was clear whom each juror supported, but their questions would be deliberated for some time. For now, Chen T. cued the first part of the final Head of Household competition.

In the backyard, Jojora, Dry Bones, and Junior hung on to their handles. They began to spin slowly at first, but soon, things picked up.

Ten minutes had passed since the advent of this competition. Nothing had interfered with their progress, but their arms were a bit sore. Chen T. proceeded to spice things up.

The sprinklers atop the backyard rained down, drenching the houseguests. The water made the handles slippery and difficult to hold onto.

"What!?" Jojora screeched. "This is ridiculous! How am I supposed to hold on to this?"

The news reporter may have been sharp, but she was the physically weakest of the trio. Within fifteen minutes of competing, Jojora dropped out.

"I am sorry Jojora," Chen T. shouted across the intercom. "You have been eliminated from this challenge. Please, take a seat on the bench."

Jojora kicked the ground, frustrated with her performance.

Jojora: This was a competition I desperately needed to win, and I failed. Now, I'll have to fight my way past the skill round if I want a shot in competing in the final part. I just hope Dry Bones wins this portion, because I think I can beat Junior in skill.

As soon as Jojora dropped, Junior got down to business.

"Alright Dry! You know how it is," Junior said with a grimace. Suspending like that for more than fifteen minutes took a toll on most anyone.

"You can beat Jojora in the skill portion, but I don't think I can," Junior argued. "Drop now, and you'll have it."

Dry Bones: While his words made sense, I wasn't comfortable with staking 500,000 coins on the skill portion of the challenge. However, my arms were dead tired, and I had to consent.

"Alright," Dry Bones muttered. "It seems I have no choice."

Dropping down, the chef ended the competition. With his elimination, Junior had won the first part of the three part Head of Household competition.

"Congratulations Junior!" Chen T. cried. "You have won the first part of the three part final Head of Household competition! You will automatically advance to round three!"

"Alright!" Junior cheered, hopping down from his handle. The son of Bowser pumped his fist, jubilant over his performance. Now, he would be guaranteed a position in the final part. One step closer to the end, the college student could almost see the money.

The houseguest re-entered the house, and the cameras panned back out to the stage. There, Chen T. sat with former houseguest, Peach.

"Welcome!" Chen T. said with a smile, shaking hands with the competition queen.

"It's awesome to be back here yet again!" Peach cried. "I was thrilled to host a competition, and now I'm here for an interview."

"Right you are," Chen T. said flashing her pearly teeth. "As a fan favorite from last season, we wanted to hear your synopsis of the final three players in this game. What are your thoughts on each of the remaining houseguests?"

"I'll start with Junior," Peach said with a laugh. "Only because he's rivaling my standing as the competition master." Her comment earned some laughs from the audience. "Junior's been playing a murky game. Yes, he has been loyal to his ally Dry Bones, but he's played dirty at times. However, with his reputation, I'm sure that can be expected. It comes as no surprise to me that he is doing whatever it takes to win. He's playing the game very similar to how I did, and he made it farther than me."

"Do you think Junior could win against Jojora or Dry Bones in the final two?" Chen T. asked.

"I don't know," Peach said, wincing slightly. "Jojora has some friends on the jury, and Dry Bones has been the puppet master of this game for some time. I think either one would win over him, unfortunately."

"Thank you," Chen T. said with a nod. "What are your thoughts on Dry Bones?"

"Like I said," Peach continued. "It's been obvious to me that Dry Bones has been working hard at being this season's puppet master. However, he's burned some bridges along the way. While some may respect his 'kill you with kindness' approach, I think some may find him transparent. His strategy is unique, but quite predictable."

"Do you think he has the propensity to win over Jojora or Junior?"

"Over Junior, I think so. Against Jojora, I'm not sure. Jojora versus Dry Bones would be a title fight, but this is Big Brother, and I don't think we'll see a title fight. I think if Jojora or Dry Bones wins the final HOH, they'll evict the opposite player."

"So you believe Junior will be in the final two, no questions asked?" Chen T. surmised.

"Probably," Peach said with a nod. "He's in a good position to make second place, unfortunately."

"On to Jojora," Chen T. continued. "Your thoughts on her?"

"Jojora is an enigma," Peach giggled. "She's a hard player, but she also has compassion. Her alliance with the women was my favorite, obviously. However, Jojora has a bit of a mean streak. She ruined Vivian's gameplay early on, and dumped Koops and Toad when it wasn't convenient for her to watch over them anymore. That could cost her a few votes. Between Jojora and Dry Bones, I can't call it."

"Well thank you very much," Chen T. lauded. "We will see you at the finale, I presume?"

"Yes, yes!" Peach exclaimed. "I can't wait!"

"Peach Palgrini, everyone!" Chen T. said with bravado, while the crowd gave the former player applause. As Peach exited the stage, the cameras zoomed in on Chen T.

"Let's head to the backyard to see how the skill competition between Jojora and Dry Bones pans out!

The cameras locked in on the backyard. It was set up like the Asian styles of the Chai Kingdom. Pagoda towers and low hanging clouds dominated the landscape. Reeds and bamboo plants grew up from a misty bog, and Dry Bones and Jojora stood at one end of the backyard.

"Dry Bones, Jojora, welcome to the second part of the three-part Head of Household competition. In this game, you will be competing in the skill region," Chen T. explained.

"This challenge is called, 'Head in the Clouds', and here's how it works. On my mark, you will both race into the bog resembling one of Chai Kingdom's many swamps. Hidden in the low-flying clouds are cut-out faces of your evicted houseguests. The first houseguest to find all of the faces of the evicted houseguests, arrange them in the correct order of eviction and hit the buzzer will move on to face Junior in the third part of the competition, understand?"

Both players confirmed.

"Then you may go!" Chen T. cried, the buzzer sounding.

Bursting forth, Dry Bones and Jojora knew they had to find these cut-outs before the other. The battle for the right to compete against Junior would seal the fate of one of these houseguests. Knowing it was now or never, they began the hunt that could potentially win them 500,000 coins.

Surprise! I'm splitting up the finale into two chapters! I'm shooting for at least the same amount or more chapters for this story as opposed to the previous season, as I felt I didn't want to cheat everyone. I also wanted to get out another chapter within a reasonable amount of time from my recent update!

Thanks for reading! I get all my passion from the readers, followers, favoriters, and reviewers! Thanks for making this such a successful fic!
