Welcome to the beginning of season 2 I guess. I know it's been a while but I have a few stories coming up soon. Enjoy.

There was great excitement for the engines on the Dotson Railroad. The new shed was almost finished. They went about their day as they normally would, Donavan and Halee delivering passengers, John and swan hauling freight. Things were running smoothly. Early that afternoon, Swan and John was at the bay collecting freight, Swan was getting bricks, and John was unloading some boxcars.

"How long before the shed is finished?" Asked John.

"Not much longer now. This should be the workmen's last load of bricks. We'll be sleeping comfortably tonight!" He replied cheerfully. John replied, "Oh wonderful! Oh Swan, how's your buffers?"

"Being a bit cheeky today are we?" Said Swan.

Then john said , "Only asking about a friend."

Then the last bricks were loaded into Swans trucks, he blew his whistle, and he puffed out of the bay. Then a workman approached John.

"We need these cars of fish to be taken to Baylor. Can you be so kind and take them for us?" The workman asked. John's fireman and driver looked at one another and his driver whispered something to the fireman. Then the fireman nodded.

"We'll be happy to take the cars." The driver said.

John switched lines and coupled up to the cars of fish. He blew his whistle and chuffed away.

John didn't prefer fish. He hated the smell of It. But the cars were covered so the smell was tolerable for the time being. The further down the line to Baylor, the more of a mountainous area it became. There were places where the tracks met the road. One of these places was a straight stretch, the tracks and the road were side by side with no barrier. John had just rounded the bend into this straight stretch. Ahead, he saw a familiar looking truck. It was Jessica. John was determined to keep his distance, but of course this didn't last long. Jessica slowed up to where she was right along side John.

"I thought I smelt something horrid." She said and began to giggle. John looked over and noticed her bed was empty.

"At least get my work done." He replied trying not to smirk. Jessica was no longer laughing.

"Well, I don't smell when I do my jobs!" She said as the road drifted away from the rails. John was fuming.

"It isn't my fault it stinks. It's these stupid fish!" He said angrily. Then his driver replied, "Calm down, remember the last time you let her get to ya. A whole bridge came down!"

John reached the station in Baylor a while later. He was still a bit upset with Jessica. The men at the station told him to move into a siding next to them while they unload the cars. Slowly but surely crates of fish began filling up the station. As he sat there he began to nod off, there wasn't anything else for him to do that day. He figured a nap would do him some good. He was abruptly awoken by a sudden smash and the smell of fish. He was covered in fish. He looked over to find Jessica had smashed into a crate of them, this was one of the places where the road met the rails, right next to the station. She had been so discussed with what John said, she wasn't paying attention to where she was driving.

"Who's the one that smells now." John said to Jessica. Jessica just blushed with embarrassment.

Later that evening in the yard, John puff up on a lovely sight. The shed was finished. All the bricks had been placed, the roof was shingled, and the doors had been painted blue. All the other engines where all ready there. They were all deciding where to sleep, after all their were ten sheds. Then Donavan said, "Phew! What stinks!" Then John puffed up to the shed.

"Well look who joined the party. What did you do John, take a dip in the ocean." Swan teased. John blushed and said, "Yeah, I guess you could say I swam with the fishes." He chuckled.
