Hi. I'll cut right to the chase so you guys probably noticed that the Title was changed. From TheFragment of Darkness to theFragment of Betrayal. The reason for this is I thought that the title Fragment of Darkness didn't quite fit the story. I believe that that the new title suits it better. Anyway moving on….I read the reviews for the last few chapters and they made me laugh. I really enjoyed reading them. You know I read the past chapters over again and I realized how angsty they were it had me questioning my sanity for a few seconds. But oh well the past is in the past I don't own anything sadly just my OCS.
When Madoka saw Eric and Gingka limping down the hallway he was supporting Gingka the usual way he had Gingka on his back piggy back style. Relief burst through every nerve in her body she limped half ran due to her on injuries and ran to them. Her relief was soon shattered as she got closer to them. Once she was up close she gasped they looked horrible, Eric was grunting from supporting Gingka. Gingka, who looked beaten his head was drooped down his red bloodied hair blocking his golden-brown eyes. His body was bloody from shallow cuts that covered him and his breathing was shallow. Madoka quickly/painfully went up to the two boys tears were already streaming down her face. Eric nearly collapsed against the wall with exhaustion from supporting the Legend who was heavier then he looked.
Eric heard Gingka mumble something in his ear "D…Don't let her over react." Eric furrowed his brows in confusion. But Gingka quickly shut his mouth and sagged against him once more shutting Eric up. Madoka was walking to them now wanting to see her boyfriend. Once she was among them she asked a series of questions. Like "What happened? Is he going to be okay?"
Madoka stopped her rambling when she heard Gingka's voice. "C…Clam down..."
Madoka looked over to Gingka with teary eyes. "Gingka, what happened?"
Eric had to an answer for him. Because Gingka whimpered and say nothing. "Hyoma ambushed him and did some damage."
Madoka growled "Speaking of him, I just completely lost to him. Sora and Tsubasa are battling him now."
Eric raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean lost?"
The mechanic rolled her eyes and with saying a word she pulled out Galaxy Cougar. It was a blue and a light grey. Its fusion wheel was a bit pointy like claws of a cougar, it was a blue color. The energy ring was a lighter of blue, spin-track (A/N: I don't really know the special terms of bey parts so bear with me) was one of those wide spin tracks, and the performance tip was a semi-flat.
Eric blinked at her. "You're a blader."
Gingka eye's widened as he stared weakly at his girlfriend.
"Yeah. But I didn't want anyone to know."
"Why?"
Madoka shook her head "I have my reasons, Eric." Madoka looked to Gingka and smiled with sadness "Sorry I didn't tell you Gingka."
There was no reply
"Gingka?"
Eric quickly shifted his shuddered so he got a look at the Legend. He was unconscious, and barely breathing. Eric panicked along with Madoka.
Eric acted quickly "Madoka where is the nearest medical bay?''
Madoka didn't respond instead she was just staring at Gingka.
"Madoka!" Eric snapped at her awakening her from her trance.
"The east wing."
"Good that's where we're going.
Up on the roof. Ryuto was shaking not in fear, trauma, or even anger towards that jerk (Hyoma) but in dread. The dread that he didn't get here in time and he let the Guardian Dynamis die. Dynamis's blood was starting to dry up around the guardian's body. It created a sort of metallic smell that lifted into the air, the smell went up into Ryuto's nose. It was happening all over again not being able to save his family and friends. It had first had happened with his family, his mom and dad had been murdered in a house break in. Ryuga and him were able to escape but then a few years later Ryuga had died in the Nemesis outbreak. Then now this. Ryuto looked down at Dynamis's body he was all pale and lifeless. His clothes were bloodied and bloodstained (A/N: I'm pretty sure those mean the same thing). His purplish-greyish was flicking in the wind around his lifeless face. Ryuto clenched his fist his body shaking violently tears streaming down his face onto the ground, it mixed into the blood.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry" Ryuto sobbed desperately.
Ryuto let out all his dreadful feelings right there.
"It's my fault." Ryuto mumbled miserably.
The green dragon blader sat there sobbing his heart out until something really strange happened. Suddenly Dynamis's bey which was next to his body, lit up in a blinding light. Ryuto quickly blocked out the light from his eyes. A moment passed then Ryuto opened his eyes what he saw surprised the heck out of him. Standing in front of him was the guardian himself well it looked like him. Dynamis wore different clothes he had his regular robes on, but they were laced with golden trimming, he wore a golden headpiece, and some brown sandals. He also had some type of golden aura surrounding him, as he smiled warmly at him.
"Dynamis?" Ryuto said confusingly but his voice broke a bit. "How are you here…you died?"
Dynamis's smiled faded as he sighed "Listen I don't have much time, but I came to give something very important."
Ryuto frowned "Give me something?"
Dynamis nodded he slowly pulled out something it was in enclosed in his palm so he couldn't see it. Ryuto wondered what it was.
"What is that?" Ryuto asked.
"Get out Omega Dragonis." Dynamis said.
Ryuto hastily reached to get out his bey but hesitated. "Umm why should I"
The glowing guardian tightened his lips into a line his form flicking a bit. "Just do it, I can't stay here long the heavens have rules you know.
Ryuto sighed and got out Dragonis. '' Okay now what?"
"What I'm about to give is very powerful, you must promise to protect this power source and not allow it to fall into the wrong hands. Do you promise?"
Ryuto hastily answered "I promise."
"Okay this may sting for a second." Dynamis said opened his palm to reveal that Heaven Jupiter was what he was holding. Ryuto gasped what was he planning?
Suddenly Jupiter lite up along with Dragonis, a piercing golden light, bursts form Jupiter and shot straight into Dragonis engulfing it whole. When Dynamis said it would only "sting" he was totally lying. Rushing pain shot through Ryuto's entire chest making him scream at the top of his lungs. But as easily as it started it stopped. Ryuto fell to his knees panting his vision was fuzzy for a few moments. But breathlessly he gasped out his words at the glowing Dynamis. "What…did you do to me?"
Dynamis bent down and smiled weakly his from flickering frequently now. "Why don't you take a look?"
Ryuto looked up and saw a green and white bey in front of him. Ryuto gasped in totally shock, when he instantly noticed Dragonis's face bolt which was the center of a very impressive bey. "Is that Dragonis?"
Dynamis nodded "Yes I have chosen you as the new guardian of my star fragment."
Ryuto was completely shocked. "Star fragment…does that mean I'm a Legendary blader?"
The glowing guardian nodded again. "Indeed, I need you to protect it for me hold it as the most important thing you possess. Your Dragonis is stronger than ever take care of it." Dynamis up a hand on Ryuto's shoulder. His eyes were filled with hope and friendship. "Ryuto it is not your fault that I am no longer apart of this world. It is my own fault I was careless in my actions upon this Earth, I never really enjoyed my life as I should've had. But for what it was worth it was nice to have friends to spend my last few days with my best friends." And with those words Dynamis faded into a haze of glowing dust.
Ryuto stared at that Dragonis with shock, he felt the power of Dynamis's Jupiter flowing through his body along with Dragonis's energy. Ryuto was a legendary blader.
Meanwhile with Sora, Tsubasa, and Hyoma. They were now retreated to the bey stadium outside where there was no people or bladers around. Sora and Tsubasa stood on one side and Hyoma on the opposite. No one spoke just harsh cold glaring of 3 bladers, Hyoma smirked eyes gleaming with mischief and murder.
"So boys shall we begin?" Hyoma asked quite coolly.
Tsubasa narrowed his eyes. "What before we start you have some explaining to do?
Hyoma sighed "Fine I'll explain, first let's start with the reason I'm even at this stupid conference. I was sent here for a very important mission. I was sent here to killed and get rid of the director of the WBBA." Hyoma pointed to Tsubasa.
"So you were sent here to kill Tsubasa by who I may ask?" Sora asked
"That my friend is highly on a need to know basis, and you don't need to know." Hyoma replied with a smart-alec tone.
Tsubasa looked at Hyoma now noticing that he had a gun strapped to his hip. The Director gestured towards it. "If you wanted to kill me didn't you shoot me when the conference started?"
Hyoma laughed. "I believe you know that answer."
Tsubasa thought back….and then it all came back to him back before the Battle Bladers Tournament when he beat in a battle. When Hyoma said that "I'll repay you someday." The eagle blader gave a look of disgust. "A rematch you want a rematch!"
"Exactly I did tell you I would get you back on day. And now I am returning the favor." The Aries blader quickly launched Blood Aries. His 2 opponents did the same with Sonic Cyber and King Eagle. The final showdown had begun.
