The 2nd to last chapter is here at last! I don't really have anything else to say just enjoy this chapter.Do not own Metal Fight Beyblade (but if I did Ryuga would've joined Gingka and the others in the first place) Enjoy Chapter 14: Showdown III

Failure only happens when one quits trying

Madoka, Eric, and the wounded Legend arrived at the medical bay. The medical bay looked slightly like a hospital, it had all the basic supplies a doctor would need. Including medical supplies for stitching sallow cuts. In the left side corner of the room was a few cots. "Get him to the bed hurry." The 2 rushed him to the cot and laid him down, Gingka yelped in his unconscious state, form the sudden movement. Eric quickly looked over his wounds, the good news was that they weren't severe or wouldn't do any permanent damage. Bad news sadly was that he could possibly die from not treating the cuts right away. Eric wasn't going to let that happened he was going to do everything within his power to save the legend. The falcon blader rushed passed Madoka, who was trying to choke back tears. Eric went to the medical cabinet a few feet away. He quickly grabbed any supplies for stitching and some morphine for the pain.

Eric half ran back to Gingka who was slowly bleeding. He quickly put his hand to the Legend's neck his pulse was slow and a bit steady. That was bad. Very bad. Eric went to work quickly cleaning up his wounds while he was doing that he felt Gingka stir and flutter his eyes a bit. No he didn't want him to wake up if he did it would be painful.

"Madoka makes sure he doesn't wake up!" Eric quickly said to the mechanic she nodded soothing Gingka by running her hand softly through the Legend's hair. The Legendary blader dozed back to into unconsciousness, due to Madoka's soothing. Eric relaxed as he continued to work on Gingka's cuts it didn't take long for him to finished cleaning them. Once he finished that he started stitching he easily sewed the cuts closed, he was so into his work he barely even heard Madoka ask him a question.

"Where did you learn to do this?" Madoka asked as she watched him patch up on her boyfriend.

Eric tensed slightly his past was something he didn't want to talk about. It was filled with hatred, betrayal and he had been affected by some of that destruction. But it couldn't hurt to tell her about some of it, he couldn't keep it bottled up forever.

"My dad had taught me some stuff in the medical field. Just simple stuff like stitching, CPR, and first aid." Eric said slowly. Madoka nodded understanding.

"Seems useful."

"It is from where I come from."

"And where do you come from?"

Eric tensed again, another thing he didn't want to talk about. But he answered her a bit shaky. " Lets just say somewhere you wouldn't want to go." Eric quickly changed the subject by focusing on Gingka's wounds, while he was having his chat with Madoka he'd finished sewing Gingka up. He took his plastic gloves off that he had put on when he started then looked at Madoka. "He'll be out for a while I did the best I could, I do suggest that we call the ambulance. To make sure that he can get further examination of his damage, I applied some morphine to his blood stream it should reduce his pain a slight bit but not fully."

Madoka nodded her thanks to the young blader with teary eyes. Eric smiled knowing that Gingka would be alright.

Suddenly the door to the medical bay door was opened. Both bladers took out there launchers and beys aiming them. But they wouldn't need them because Hikaru and Tithi walked in quite surprised to see them here. (A/N: Remember Tithi's a girl in this story) Tithi was clutching her shoulder quite tightly and had a small pained grimace in her expression. Hikaru was standing right next to her, looking at Madoka's bey with wide eyes.

"Tithi, Hikaru what are you doing here?" Madoka asked

Hikaru smiled tightly nodding to Tithi who was wincing. "Came to check her shoulder. Hyoma attacked her and dislocated it, but Sora popped it back into place. Now she says it just hurts."

Eric went up to Tithi and took one quick glance at her shoulder. "It's strained you probably just need a really good massage and a sling.

Tithi blinked at him. "How did you figure that out?"

Eric winked "I have some skill in the medical field."

Hikaru and Tithi looked at Gingka on the bloodied cot. "What happened to him?" Hikaru worriedly

Madoka's face darkened "That bastard Hyoma did this to him, and he'll pay." She said bitterly.

The 3 other bladers looked at each other. They never heard Madoka talk like that before."

They all silently agreed that something had changed in her. Something very wrong.

The battle outside was growing more destructive by the moment. Sora and Tsubasa continued their strong attacks against Hyoma's bey. Explosions heard created each time they clashed with him, but even with their strong assault Hyoma would just deflected it like nothing, then counter just as hard. Cyber and Eagle were tossed into the air at Aries's latest attack. Sora and Tsubasa looked up at their beys in total shock.

"This is getting you nowhere boys. I should just end you now." Hyoma said coldly

In Tsubasa's mind he knew that he was right, their power had dropped low the only had enough power to pull out a few powerful moves. But that was all, if they didn't beat him here it was only a matter of time before he would finish them permanently. Tsubasa looked up in Eagle then over who was also looking at his own bey in a grim expression.

"You I could help you know dear Tsubasa." A dark sinister voice said as it emerged from Tsubasa's darkest part of his mind. It sent a flash of pain flying through his head making Tsubasa suck in a tight breath to keep him from yelping. A haze of purple power appeared behind the director, creating his dark self-whose eyes were glistening in a bright red glow, it ugly mouth was twisted in a sick grin as his looked at Tsubasa in cold amusement. ( A/N: No one can see the dark power just to let you know.)

Tsubasa noticed the disgusting creature and flinched slightly. But he quickly regained his posture and bitterly replied mentally "I don't need your help, I will never need your help." The dark power crackled darkly his face twisted in a very disturbing smile. "Don't say that Tsubasa we both know that's not true".

The director took a shaky breath…that wasn't true he would never turn towards the dark power for power never again. He tried to block out those stupid voices and focus on the one-sided battle. But it was kind of hard when Dark was talking continually in his mind. Tsubasa gritted his teeth in pain when dark sent another pain wave through his head which made his head ache.

"You can't ignore me forever!" Dark shouted mentally in his mind.

Tsubasa had to bite his tongue to keep from openly saying the dark power to shut the hell up. Hyoma seemed to notice something was up and laughed at him.

"What's up with you the almighty director of the WBBA Tsubasa Ootori is giving up?"

"Hey don't forget about me!" Sora interrupted Tsubasa now noticing that his red aura was surrounding him. "Cyber!" Cyber which was still in the sky smashed into Eagle sending it hurtling towards Aries. Sora quickly turned towards Tsubasa. "Tsubasa I have a plan I need you to unleash your most powerful special move."

Tsubasa nodded understanding through he didn't know what Sora's plan was, but he believed it was a good one. Tsubasa willed Dark away with pure good feeling, Dark screamed as it receded back into his mind. The director himself took a deep breath preparing to unleash his most powerful special move. With a flash of his eyes his familiar purple aura surrounded him. "Here we go." Tsubasa mumbled before calling out his move. "Eagle, King Metal Wing Smash!"

Eagle exploded in power its spirit bursted out and screeched loudly. Still hurtling towards Aries Eagle pulled out his talons which was glowing in a purple energy. Eagle flapped its wing faster gaining up speed and more power. Hyoma growled making Aries spin faster causing a black and red energy to radiate from the nightmarish bey. "It's not going to that easy." Hyoma growled Aries shot up with a lot of power slamming into Eagle which made an explosion of black and purple light which momentarily blinded Hyoma and Tsubasa. Eagle screeched in pain as it was thrown into the air once more.

"Sora if you have a plan I suggest you do it now!" Tsubasa growled as he watched Aries recover from its loss of power and started charging up again for another attack. Sora nodded looking towards Cyber " I only have one shot at doing this." He whispered to himself. He had come up with a plan which was going well. His plan was that Tsubasa was to do his special move (which he did) and hit Aries lowing its power for a brief moment. Then Sora would do Avalanche Boost which would certainly end this he hoped. Sora personally didn't really think he could pull off Avalanche Boost, he had been working on that move for months. And every time he came close to completing it Cyber would either collapse under itself from controlling the power or Sora, himself passing out from the strain. Sora looked over to Aries who was almost ready to attack again. Sora had to do this even if Cyber did self-destruct the explosion should still be enough to beat Hyoma and Aries. Sora took a deep breath, Cyber glowed and the winged horse appeared ready to go. "Let's go Cyber Special Move Avalanche Boost!" Sora yelled he heard Tsubasa gasp next to him. "Sora I thought you said that you haven't completed that move." Tsubasa said worry filling his voice.

Sora avoided his eyes "I haven't." Sora trained his eyes to Cyber. The spirit was reeling and skittering its power building a little too quickly, suddenly Cyber blasted towards Aries at sonic speeds. Sora gritted his teeth hard he felt Cyber's power losing control. It was only a matter of time before its power went into self-destruct critical. He knew once Cyber went critical he would most likely lose this battle and Hyoma would get to Tsubasa and complete this "mission" he spoke of. But he was almost to his limits his mind was suffering from trying to control Cyber, and all his main energy was going to that bond holding it together. This special move was literally draining him both physically and mentally. He couldn't take it anymore, he wouldn't take it, won't take it. It was over Sora really wanted to collapse right there and take a long nap.

Sora flinched as those words snapped into his mind. How did that just happen, he wasn't thinking of deep quotes at the time? No that wasn't the case at all he was thinking on how to win the battle and beating the living daylights out of Hyoma. Something or someone had pushed those words into his mind, the words repeated themselves.

Sora breathed as the words repeated over and over again it was like something/someone was trying to tell him something. After the hundredth time it repeated something clicked in Sora's partially drained mind. He was ready to stop trying therefore if he quit then he would fail and loose everything that was dear to him. Sora straightened himself up now noticing that Cyber charge towards Aries wasn't wild anymore but was steady but still at a quick pace. The strain on Sora was a relived a slight bit he still felt sluggish though, not waiting for Hyoma to attack him. Sora made Cyber stabilized its power levels they retreated to a high level but not critical. Cyber spun faster and its power increased heading even faster to Aries. Sora keeping control of the special move made Cyber's increase more he had to add more power. Aries was a strong bey it was a defense type at that, so it would be hard to break through those defenses. Cyber hit Aries with a great force, but Sora felt like something was wrong.

Thinking he had enough Sora enter the final stage of Avalanche Boost. Sora's red aura surrounded him once more making a deep power within come forth. "Cyber Go Ultimate Boost!" Cyber hit Aries with a great force, but Sora felt like something was wrong.

Tsubasa watched with awe as Cyber finally crashed into Aries from above hard. Tsubasa got a good glance at Sora before he was blinded by the light explosion. He saw his body go tense at the moment Cyber made impact with Aries, Tsubasa saw Sora's eyes cloud over in shock and fear of something. Then Tsubasa was blinded and then the next thing he knew he was being blown back very painfully. He heard the cries of Sora as they were thrown backwards. And then they were on the ground cringing, moaning, and groaning. With a dazed vision Sora looked at the stadium and saw something at really surprised him. Eagle and Cyber were motionless on the stadium floor and spinning steady as ever was that darn Blood Aries. Hyoma had on a twisted expression of pure amusement, and slight disappointment. Hyoma laughed a crazed like a creepy little girl laugh that makes you want to slowly back up and get the heck out of there. Sadly the 2 freaked out bladers didn't get that luxury they had used up all their energy when battling. They had even used their strongest moves and that still didn't defeat Aries. How strong was that bey? It was a nightmare to any bey that went against it destroying anything in its path. Hyoma smiled creepily at Tsubasa making him widened his eyes in fear. He'd never thought he could be really afraid of Hyoma he was the most laid back guy he knew or used to know anyway. Now, look at him about to gruesomely murder him with an unstoppable bey.

"I told I would return the favor." Hyoma said harshly and with those words Hyoma sent Aries flying towards the defenseless director. Tsubasa closed his eyes waiting for the blow but it never came. Instead he heard the sound of metal clashing metal Tsubasa opened his eyes and saw Ryuto glaring harshly at Hyoma. A large green aura surrounding Ryuga's brother clashing with Aries hard was a green and white impressive bey it was fierce slamming into Aries hard.

Hyoma growled "Ryuto?!"

Ryuto kept his hard gaze "Hyoma."

Okay…this wasn't supposed happened this was supposed to be the 2nd to last chapter. And next chapter was supposed to be the last chapter. But that's not what happened okay you guys I'll see you next chapter hopefully that will be the 2nd to last chapter. If you have any questions just ask in the review box.
