I don't own MFB. This is the second to last chapter everyone! So this chapter is a bit rushed cause, I'm wrapping everything up. Enjoy this final battle chapter!
"Dark Eagle!'' Dark yelled. "Counter Smash!"
Eagle pulsed then slammed into the weakened Aries. The force making it bounce into the air the spirit of the Ram whimpered as the Dark Eagle attacked it with its talons.
Hyoma gasped in pain. He was still thinking of ways to high tail it out of there. But every time he tried to recall Aries Tsubasa/Dark always ended up attacking him.
In the corner of Hyoma's eyes Ryuto and Sora were dumbfounded. They clearly didn't know what to do. They were stuck with 2 decisions.
Either... watch Tsubasa completely destroy Hyoma and Aries….or intervene.
Ryuto was pondering on the idea of letting Tsubasa let out his anger on the murder. He did kill Dynamis after all so he deserved the punishment. He deserved to suffer the same fate that he gave Dynamis. To face the agonizing pain Dynamis felt when the light was fading out his eyes.
Sora on the other hand was pondering on the second thought.
To intervene.
Sora had to admit he was angry at Hyoma also. But that still didn't mean that they just stand here and let Tsubasa/Dark destroy Hyoma. It just wasn't right in his book. Though he had thoughts on the first idea Hyoma was a murder. Which meant all crimes had to be punished in any certain way including physical pain. But that still didn't make it right he shouldn't pay for his crimes like this.
Not with this brutal torture.
Hyoma moaned pushing himself off the ground once more. "Okay think Hyoma what to do." Hyoma thought to himself. He looked to Aries who was slowly running out of strength. Hyoma was surprised that he and Aries were able to last this long. If he was a normal opponent he would've lost ages ago. Yet he needed to get out of here. He was already weak from blood loss and from straining his mind to focus on Aries. And his bey clearly didn't have enough power to unleash any of his special moves. But maybe if he could focused enough energy to cover his escape.
But as easy that sounded, he knew that would be a hard feat.
[Tsubasa's Crazy Mind]
Tsubasa struggled against his bonds. He was forced to watch Dark attack his friends he saw the looks on their faces. There was exhaustion, fear, and anger plastered intensely on their faces. Hyoma was on the floor cringing in pain, Sora was panting heavily he was swaying Tsubasa guested it was result of using that special move. Ryuto was breathing a bit hard, his green aura was back surrounding him thoroughly.
Tsubasa gritted his teeth hard. He needed to get out of here, since he had regained his bearings he could just summon up some "friendship" light like that that familiar (*Hint*) yet right voice said. But that proved somewhat difficult. For some reason every time he tried his corrupted chains wrapped more harshly around him.
The direct glared in front of him. Dark was there smirking at him with false humor, Tsubasa felt pure disgust towards him.
"I should have never had listened to you!"
Dark chuckled and walked towards him. Until his fowl face inches from Tsubasa's. They both stared at each other.
"Ah but you did. And you enjoyed it". Dark's red eyes flickered crazily as he continued his rant. "You love feeling the rush of my power flowing through you."
Tsubasa screwed his eyes shut shaking his head. "No…you're wrong."
"I'm not wrong, my dear Tsubasa." Dark purred, but his voice turned into a yell. "Now open your eyes and watch the show!"
The dark chains pulled harshly on Tsubasa, unwilling forcing him to open his eyes.
And he watched.
[Outside Tsubasa's crazy head]
An explosion of dark energy, erupted into the night sky. The battle ground was a like a war zone filled with horrifying booms of clashes. Dark Eagle slammed into Aries yet once again which again blew Aries and Hyoma back.
Hyoma didn't even make a sound he was used to the pain now. Now he just felt numb all over his mental strain was still going strong though. He was silently storing up his power reserves, he even had left. With each strike Eagle struck against Aries, his bey slowly gathered up power for one last burn.
"You know Hyoma death comes for us all." Dark purred as Eagle radiated dark energy around it getting ready for a powerful possibly fatal strike. And now death has come for you!"
Hyoma let out a small weak chuckle which surprised almost everyone except Dark. "My life was already a living hades before any of this bull-crap! I'm not afraid death". (Don't feel like cursing)
Dark smirked. "You should be."
Eagle suddenly sped towards the wobbly Aries ready to put it out of its sorry misery. Dark Eagle sprouted forward along with the weak Aries. Which had talon marks all over it, the red spirit eyed Hyoma as if feeling ashamed with itself.
"It's over Hyoma!"
A really big blast of dark power came racing towards Hyoma personally. Hyoma screwed his eyes shut ready to take the pain full on along with Aries.
Ryuto and Sora looked at another… finally making up a decision.
The blast hit a boom echoed strongly into the air. Dust and ash flew everywhere coating the floor and any surrounding property in dust.
[Tsubasa's crazy mind]
"NO!" Tsubasa yelled frantically. His heart was racing he had just watched his friends excluding Hyoma get hit by that blast. He pulled against his corrupted chains trying to break them.
"There we go, not only did I get rid of Hyoma I got rid of those other 2 peasants." Dark chuckled happily.
Tsubasa shook in anger. His hair cover his eyes only his lower face showed.
"You will get exhausted sooner or later, Dark. You may have control over my physical body but my mental one is still in some control."
Dark's chuckled faded. "That may be true Tsubasa but until that happens, I can have some fun."(I made that sound so wrong)
[Outside Tsubasa's Crazy Mind]
Dark was laughing like a crazed manic.
"Only a complete nut-job would get so happy over defeating a comrade." A familiar voice said from the dust cloud.
The processed Tsubasa narrowed his eyes.
The dust from the cloud cleared revealing a barrier of red and green surrounding them. Cyber and Dragonis was spinning in front of them glowing.
Ryuto wasn't looking towards Tsubasa he was looking at Hyoma with a stern look.
"Get out of here now!" Ryuto growled.
Hyoma blinked surprised. "What?!"
"I said take Aries and get the hell out of here. And I don't ever what to see your face ever again" Ryuto eyes glowed then dimmed. "If I do then I will personally and permanently get rid of you."
Hyoma squeaked withdrew before he started running he took a glance at Ryuto.
"Thank you." Ryuto could barely hear it but he did.
Then Hyoma was gone in a flicker of red light... using Aries's power reserves to do it.
Sora and Ryuto turned towards Tsubasa breathing hard. They were both exhausted, mainly Sora he was the one who battled Hyoma and exhausted his power.
Ryuto noticed this and put a hand on Sora's shoulder.
"Sora you don't have to do this. Let me handle this." Ryuto reasoned.
The red Pegasus shrugged his hand off. Turning to Ryuto with sleepy eyes Ryuto could've swore he saw Sora sway a little. He was clearly exhausted and he needed rest not to be battling a possessed friend that had the power to do serious damage.
"Ryuto I'm fine. I can do this." Sora said wearily.
Ryuto opened his mouth to say something but sighed.
He'll just have to watch over him. He smiled at small smile to his best friend.
"Okay, Sora just be careful I'll watch your back."
Sora nodded and together they charged.
[Inside Tsubasa's Crazy Mind]
"Seems like one of your precious peasants got away." Tsubasa said weakly. The bonds latched on him began to loosen, a small smile met Tsubasa's lips. Dark was getting exhausted this was good, which meant that this whole agony was almost over.
Dark sharply looked at him. "Hyoma may have gotten away, but I still have your other 2 friends to deal with."
The void they were in, began to churn and shake. Dark winced feeling Tsubasa start to take over and gain more control.
Tsubasa smiled widely. "Then I suggest you hurry up." The direct lean forward going as much as the chains would let him. "Because when I get out of here. I will send you back into the darkest part of my mind.
Dark growled.
[Outside Tsubasa's Crazy Mind]
Cyber and Dragonis clashed with Dark Eagle, creating a huge shock wave. The 3 beys grinded against one another causing sparks to fly wildly. Dragonis seemed to be putting up a better fight then Cyber, Ryuto took a glance towards Sora. He was breathing shallow and faint which sent a tinge of worry up Ryuto's spine.
"Sora..."
Sora gritted his teeth weakly "I'm fine Ryuto just focus on the battle."
Cyber suddenly broke away and started speeding up a red aura surrounding it.
"C...Cyber Sonic Mode!" Sora cursed himself for sputtering his exhaustion was finally getting to him.
The red Pegasus slammed into Eagle at well, sonic speeds causing Eagle to be forcefully knocked away and driven to the end of the stadium.
Dragonis followed suit following Cyber's powerful lead in pushing Eagle out of the stadium. Ryuto knew Sora wanted to finish the battle as quick as possible. Knowing his power was about to run out for a short period.
"Ryuto… use your most powerful move. Do it now." Sora gasped just as Cyber's red aura faded away broke away from the 2 beys centering itself at the middle of the stadium.
Ryuto heeded Sora's words. Dragonis's face-bolt pulsed and the green dragon came forth.
"Eagle!"
Dark Eagle came up as well. The 2 beast screeched and roared at each other.
"It's time to finally end this. I'm using the power that Dynamis gave me to good use. Dragonis Thunder Lighting Bolt!" Ryuto barked.
"I totally agree, Tsubasa's almost in control and before he is fully. I'll completely destroyed you. Eagle Talons of Darkness!" Dark said
Dark Eagle's talons erupted into deadly dark talons ready to strike a fatal blow. Dragonis's body quickly got covered in lethal green lighting. Its mouth shot out a blast of green power and Eagle opened his talons and met the blast head on with its dark talons.
The blast created an enormous shock wave that was able to knock everyone to the ground. The air literally exploded with ash and smoke.
A few moments later the air was engulfed in coughing. Ryuto and Sora got up from the floor and looked around they saw both their beys laying on the stadium floor. They glanced and also saw both Tsubasa and Eagle laying on the floor.
The two friends, cautiously approached the fallen director. As they came closer they noticed Tsubasa was waking up. He didn't look processed any more he just looked a little wore out physically and mentally.
Tsubasa got to his hands and knees, coughing. Once he regained his bearing he slowly looked up to his friends his eyes were filled with remorse and regret. "I'm so sorry guys for all of this."
Ryuto helped him up and patted his shoulder.
"It wasn't your fault. It was all Hyoma's he was the fragment of betrayal. And there's nothing we can do to change that."
I'M FINALLY FINISHED WITH THE ACTION CHAPTERS! All that is left is the Epilogue and then I'm through and I can get started on the squeal. I cannot believe that was am almost done and I can finally press that complete button. Though I never would've gotten this far if it wasn't for ROCKEARTHDRAGON (You are an amazing friend!) for coming up with the whole idea and writing the first few chapters. I also want to thank all the reviewers, followers, and readers. This story has almost 5,000 views which is really cool in my book. Any way please review and give me your honest opinions.
