Hello everybody! This is NRG-OVA-9000 presenting you with another episode of The Amazing Gyroball. Another fresh new episode in August! From the last episode, Lexy was enjoying her new life in Elmore, until a crazy man crashes into her life. That man is Future Gumball, who wished to correct history. And the random craziness comes later on. Just read the story to find out.
But here in this episode, though there will be superhero action, it will mostly be dialogues that discusses on time travel theories and other sciences or philosophies. Hope that could somehow clear the time travel-related confusion. Time travel is just a really confusing concept that people like sci-fi writers like to fancy themselves with. Other than that, thank you for reading the series and enjoy the next episode.

The Amazing Gyroball
Episode 11: The String Theory
Previously from The Amazing Gyroball, Lexy Watterson was having a great time in Elmore Jr. and Sr. High School. She immediately gained mass recognition from the people in Elmore along with a place she has long yearned in the Watterson family. But suddenly, a weird trench coat man crashes into her new life and make things worse. As the new threat emerges to her new life on the next day, Lexy suddenly reveals herself to be a princess named Princess GumballOopsEggWobbleUnderpants, who comes from GumBaldNoWigBattleAxeNinja, a foreign European nation (in actuality, it's Gumball in his old princess persona). And Gumball Watterson, who came in with his siblings to rescue his sister, revealed himself to be Lexy. What? A twin switch-a-roo? Who would have knew? Not only did the princess from another European country come to her rescue, but also Gyroball!?
"Wait what?" said Darwin as he expressed shock in the middle of the cut scene. Everybody stops and looks at the merman for doing something abruptly weird.
"What?" asked Anais. "We were about to see two Gyroballs fight against each other."
"Wait what!?" Darwin becomes more surprised as he sees himself watching the two Gyroball readying themselves to fight. "But I thought that we're still on the moment where the Princess fights against the creep. And where did the two go to?"
Anais gives Darwin an unamused look and Lexy just looked confused by the whole thing.
"So resume…" said Anais.
The cast just remains there silent and awkward.
"Seriously?" said Anais. "How the freak does Darwin stop the whole thing from moving forward."
"A stereo disk from Professor Killjoy," said Darwin. "It has the weird feature of communicating to any otherworldly intelligence."
"That includes the narrator that keeps the whole thing moving!" said Anais. In actuality, Darwin accidentally broke the fourth wall, which causes the narration to stop and thus consequentially stop all actions from occurring.
"Seriously!" said Anais as she yelled into the disk.
Yeah, seriously. This is [REDACTED] saying move on with the story already! The fans are waiting!
"Fine!" Anais complied as she willfully assumes ignorance of the fourth wall breaking thing.
Suddenly, the Princess and Future Gumball switch places with Present Gyroball and Future Gyroball!? Now, it's time for the present and the future to violently clash for control of the universal history. Who will win? Will Lexy's life, and possibly in a crazy nutshell her existence, be secured? Find out more as Lexy faces the extremely odd trials that the mysterious What-The-Sons have to deal with as Anais prepares for the destruction of the weird artifact that Darwin has somehow found.
"Seriously?" asked Anais. "Stop it!" she become more annoyed. "Seriously, my [REDACTED] [REDACTED]! I keep hearing the annoying narrating voice! Narrating everything like me saying this:
'I like pie,' said Anais randomly as she's annoyed as [REDACTED]!"
That's why I have narrated the story with you smashing the weird artifact. I knew that you'll go mad and insane with the knowledge from another world beyond the fourth wall, where I live in. And don't use [REDACTED]. I only used it to keep my identity a secret. But you're using it to cover up your potty mouth! You might change the whole rating since this is somewhat of a kid's show, more likely older kids' show like those kids from late elementary school to early high school age.
After the weird message, Anais finally break the device, muting the narrating voice within her dimension.
"What! NO!" Future Gyroball screamed as something precious of his is lost.
"What is it!" said Anais with annoyance.
"That was my clue to finding out how the GIGAs rise in power!"
"Right…" the little girl expresses skepticism.
"Oh enough of this!" shouted Present Gyroball. "Let's fight already!"
"Fine!" Future Gyroball replied. "But we will take this battle to somewhere else, where collateral damages will be unimportant."
The present time hero looks around, seeing the girls' room to be damaged.
"Oh…"
The scene jumps to the city's junkyard. The Present and Future Gyroballs are preparing for their facedown. The Watterson siblings came along, ditching school as the battle of two Gyroballs is more important than academics. They are sitting on the old, rusted bench that formerly belonged to Elmore baseball stadium.
Present Gyroball is standing on one side of the battlefield while his future counterpart is on the opposite side. The two motorcyclists are staring at each other through the opaque visor of their helmet.
Lexy looks at the two combatants with worries as the heat of battle rises intensely. Few seconds pass as they wait for the moment to fight. Anais looks at the fighters with a stick and a gong. She whacked the gong with a stick, starting the battle.
The two Gyroballs jumps forward and initiate the fight. As they approach to each other, they perform a series of gyro-enhanced martial arts with punches, karate chops, kicks, elbows, and other moves. They perfectly countered each other moves. But, Present Gyroball faces difficulties as Future Gyroball has superior physical stamina. After the sparring of martial arts, the future motorcyclist gyro-drilled the present at the abdomen, prompting him to spiral backward and into the pile of scrap metal.
The pile exploded with strong force exerted onto it. Future Gyroball flies toward it. But, Present Gyroball uses the rectangular sheet of scrap metal as a makeshift melee weapon. His two hands are gripped tightly on the one end of the sheets. He waves the sheet horizontally to the time traveler. But, the opponent counters it by jabbing the sheet with his palm, causing the sheet to rip apart as the spiraling hole is made from the center from his palm to outward. Then, the time traveler used the gyro-enhanced roundhouse kick at the juvenile motorcyclist, causing him to spiral sideway to another pile of junk, prompting another violent eruption.
As the eruption subdues, the smoke clears out with Present Gyroball being somewhat worn out as he is fighting against someone of much greater power level than him. The time traveler slowly approaches to him.
Ah shoot! Present Gyroball thought to himself. That guy is tough! Well… If he is indeed my future self, that is totally amazing of how he becomes incredibly beefed up with muscle and gyro-power. But right now, it sucks considering that he's too much of a match for me. If I don't win, then he will play around time as he pleases. And that includes the erasure of Lexy, my long-lost twin sister. If I don't win, then he will off her out of the life that she deserves. But how will I be able to get an upper-hand against him? He is much more powerful and intelligent than I am right now. I wish that someone will know what to do when dealing with an insane time traveler. Especially you, Professor Psi, who is reading minds of whomever he pleases. If you know anything, give me a sign!
As Present Gyroball have his time to contemplate on the situation he is in, the strong enemy of his finally approaches to him as his shadows cover the hero.
Somewhere far away from the school and the junkyard, Professor Psi is taking a sick day from work. From the look of his face, he has wild, vivid experiences. Yesterday, he had probed into the mind of the time traveler, which caused him to see the full experience of the alternate world line he never seen. Yet, he finds himself in the alternate timeline, lying on the bed with sheet over him. He saw rebels falling before the terrible regime. Mercenaries of otherworldly origins are attacking the people of Elmore, suppressing their defense force and imprisoning them in new facility that belongs to the GIGA Organization. More disturbing visions emanates into his eyes as he is processing the information he acquired from the time traveler.
Oh crud! Professor Psi thought to himself. What is going on?
As the lone professor contemplates to himself, he is warped into an ethereal void, where the background is salt-and-pepper television static. Many floating islands are seen in this strange dimension. One of the islands includes a crudely built treehouse, which was supposedly built on Elmore's neighborhood from last three ago. Various islands of different features are present in the salt-and-pepper space.
Seeing the irritating salt-and-pepper background, the professor is sweating with fear. He is becoming feverish as he is witnessing nightmare. Perhaps, the void is the professor's worst nightmare as it is the separate universe where the "deleted materials" go to. It is theorized to be the opposite end of black hole, or perhaps the true underworld that is radically different from those envisioned in old traditions. Whatever it is, the place greatly bothers the professor.
Suddenly, an image of himself appears in front of the scared professor.
"Who are you?" asked the professor.
"I'm you," said the holographic image. "I'm you from the future!"
"Don't tell me that it's…"
"That's right! It is on the matter of the time traveler and the timeline he exists from. Apparently, the GIGA Organization has discovered the truth and uses it to rewrite everything."
"Ah… This place is giving me the creeps. Do you mind if we…"
Suddenly, they are warped into the older design of Dump's Cave with them being seated on the booth.
"Thanks."
"What can I say? I'm you from the future."
"I think that the more appropriate term is 'I'm you from an alternate timeline' and so forth."
"Yeah… Every intelligent being are naturally egocentric. So that makes sense."
"So continuing with our business?"
"Oh yes. The GIGA Organization has discovered the existence of this dimension and uses it as a weapon of mass destruction."
"The alien inhabitants of this place along with the anomalous law that it behaves with; they are using it to rally up an army and take over Elmore and the surrounding cities of Bay Area."
"But it gets worse than that."
"Don't suppose that…"
"Yes. That's right. Their accidental discovery snowballs to a more dangerous path. It leads them to further understanding of theoretical physics, more specifically on the 'multiverse' subject and the 'space-time' and stuff like that. They're rallying some power from another dimension, far dissimilar to our worlds."
"Hmm… There is some intelligence in this world that is moving this forward. The watchmaker of my world line… I wonder what he's thinking."
"I don't even talk about the watchmaker."
"Yeah. We somewhat hated him, whoever he is."
"Onto the subject…"
"Of course. From what you were saying, the timeline where you 'retired' from is crumbling into ruins."
"It seems so. There is a civil war in Elmore. The Elves and the Organization have been fighting vigorously for the Bay Area. The ELF Guards are fighting against the GIGAs and their totalitarian regime. Several years after, Gyroball has grown into a mighty hero."
"Yeah. I wish to see his mighty self later on."
"Yeah. He becomes a celebrity and local superhero. Then, he eventually joins up the ranks in our real organization."
"Yes. Our true allegiance belongs to the ELF Guards, local soldiers that protect their city for the sole sake of their city and its people's interest. We faked our allegiance to the GIGA Organization so that we could undermine their grand scheme."
"But they remained adamant on their lust for power. Even if I remain undercover, they still continue to grow strong. I just don't understand their unnatural strength."
"That could be a problem for the future."
"It is indeed. The What-The-Sons are having a big difficulty ever since the mercenaries have a direct siege against the ELF Guards and their HQ. Many lives have been lost."
"Including you?"
"Yes. Thankfully, I had developed new technique for my Advanced Psionics and that is to imbue my 'self' into other material form."
"And you used it on 'Future' Gumball."
"Yep. I imbued my will into Gumball, who later traveled back into the past."
"Hmm… Must be a really rough time."
"Obviously, since I was put out. And his fellow comrades were put out."
"Darwin and Anais?"
"The merman prince of North Bay was taken down, leading to the GIGAs' control over the North Bay's water. And the girl genius was taken out directly in the intelligence center."
"All of these events were planned earlier. Could it be that we're facing a deadlier enemy, what may possibly be the greatest brain power of the Organization?"
"It's possible that there is a strong force to be reckoned."
"Hmm… Whoever it is, Gyroball should be able to handle it. After all, he is destined with great potential!"
"He evolved his abilities from telekinetic force fields to gravity manipulation and ultimately to Space-Time Manipulation. As his power continues to refine itself into its purest form, he is able to accomplish anything. That is how he's able to travel back into the past."
"Wormhole Tunneling: making a tear into space itself, dive in and curve oneself onto other timeline."
"He mainly used it to transport himself from one place to another."
"In other words, just teleportation. Teleport from like Elmore to Hong Kong."
"Only within the same, immediate time box. He only practiced teleporting from present Elmore to present somewhere else. But he did not practice using it from present Elmore to past or future somewhere else. He didn't try going to Victorian London."
"And from what we see earlier, he tried traveling into different time period. He traveled about a decade back into the past on the same local."
"True. Wormhole Tunneling is a pinnacle of Gyroball's power for now. But we have yet to see more of his power that lies dormant within him."
"Thus, this is the reason why the GIGA Organization has really special interest in him. He may be more valuable than Anais' hyper-intelligence."
"Due to his potential to rewrite the natural laws of their respective universe."
"This may be terrible."
"Wait until you see the world in your time. He's being pursued by the MERC TRIO, some otherworldly mercenary under allegiance with the GIGA Organization. Fortunately, he lost them to some faraway place."
"But if they were to reach the GIGA HQ…"
"This could be terrible."
"Right now, the organization didn't make any radical change. But what concerns me is that your time traveling apprentice has encountered what appears to be a gender-opposite variant of himself being near his past self. Is she a spatial-temporal anomaly that Future Gumball believes her to be? If anything, she could be a long-lost twin sister of Gumball."
"Please. Gumball doesn't have a twin. He only has a younger sister and an adoptive brother. How could he be having a twin?"
"True. But different timeline with different sequence of events…"
"Hpt. This leads to several proposals of what it may be. One, the girl could be related to the GIGA. Two, she could be 'native' to that timeline. Or three, some other intelligence has influenced your world to make accommodation for her existence."
"Come on! You got to have anything more in mind. This limits her to the position as an anomaly."
"Sorry. But I could think of anymore. But your proposal that Gumball being in different timeline with different history is very plausible. History in your world may be very different from history in our world."
"Like in my world, there are some strange characters like MR. CHARGE."
"Who's he?"
"Electro-manipulative thug in the criminal underworld. His costume looks like a battery."
"It's funny when his name is said with deepened voice."
"Yeah. He's so HAMMY!"
"Resuming business! Where do you think he comes from?"
"I supposed that he's a native in this world."
"If you believe so, then the Lexy girl could be a native and not an outsider."
"Yeah… Considering this proposal, Gumball from your timeline could be in major distress."
"Now that you mentioned it, inexperienced time traveler may suffer from some ill effects. It may include the feeling of losing grip on reality, which then depends on the level of difference from the two timelines."
"This is worrisome as Gumball of your timeline become insane as he encountered Lexy. He may be considering on eliminating her."
"Indeed, this is uncharacteristic of the cat-boy I know of."
After the long dialogue the professors shared with each other, the present professor hears some voice.
Too much of a match for me… erasure of Lexy… dealing with insane time traveler… any sign… The thought that Professor Psi heard through his telepathy is relayed from the junkyard.
"Well," said the holographic image. "You should get going. It's nice talking to you."
"The pleasure is all mine," the present professor replied.
"But know that I will be with you. As mentioned earlier, I imbued my will into Gumball and later transferred my will back to you. So essentially, I made you a combination of your present self and your alternate future self. All of my knowledge, experience, anything I had from my timeline, will be assessable to you whenever you needed. It'll be important for me to stick with you. After all, there is Future Gyroball in your world. And the Present Gyroball will be facing much more difficult trials as he reaches to his full potential. Now, take us to Elmore!"
As the two professors ended their discussion, they merged together into a blinding flash of light that illuminates the whole scene.
Back to the junkyard, the two combatants are being worn out. The present is becoming more worn out than the future.
"Argg…" groaned Present Gyroball.
"As I said earlier, I am you! I know everything that has happened in our life and will happen in our life," said Future Gyroball.
"Oh yeah? Well let me tell you something."
"You're not trying to do some mind trick like what happened last week or something. Well, I could answer that if history isn't messed up!"
"Oh come on!" Anais shouted from the bench. Few more students of Elmore are watching the scene as they are seated on the rusted bench. Tina Rex, the reptilian girl in boot camp attire, is watching the battle with a mixture of amazement and annoyance. Amazement is due to seeing the famous person on the stage. And annoyance is due to people crowding around her home. The Rex family lives in the dump due to financial trouble along with other shady business. "Why won't you give up on that time travel thing? It's confusing as heck, and you wouldn't know any better, Alternatively, it could be that wherever you come from have a DIFFERENT HISTORY from OURS. The sequence of events that occurred in your life is completely different from those that the Present Gyroball has lived. Face it! You just come from a completely different yet somewhat similar world."
"Just shut up with you smart-alecky remark and watch the show," said Tobais the jock wannabe as he watch intently on the fight. Everyone look at him. "Shut up! Don't doubt my jock-hood!" he randomly spasms out.
"Shut up, Loser!" said Tina. "This is my place. And you're all lucky that I let you all in."
"Fine," the jock wannabe meekly complied with the bully's will.
Then suddenly, a new challenger has entered the stage. The two Gyroballs look at the humanoid silhouette figure within the shining light. Then, the light turns off as the outside is reaching to dusk. The figure is revealed to be Goldfishman, the luchador in orange scuba suit. He has a nautical fish theme to his appearance.
"Goldfishman?" said Tobias. "Boo! You stink!"
The audience start booing at the seemingly weak superhero, only for the scuba diver to open the water container and let out the water whip. He made a solid whipping sound.
"Ok…" said Banana Joe. "It isn't a good time to throw junk at him."
"Goldfishman, what are you doing?" said Present Gyroball.
"I'm here to help you!"
"But you'll get creamed!"
"Oh," said Leslie the pink-haired boy.
"Eww…" said the others.
"Ah what?"
"Nothing. Just watch the match!" said Tobais.
"Hmm…" Future Gyroball becomes weird out by the surprise challenger. "Alright Goldfishman, give me your best shot!"
So, Goldfishman hold his water container with its lid toward the time traveler. He then opens the lid and start firing water bullets out of it. It is as if the water container is a handgun.
Future Gyroball use his gravity manipulation to gravitate the water bullets into the gyroscope, forming an orb of water in its core. Then, he launches it in high velocity. The scuba diver counters the opponent's counterattack by swirling around his body, causing the water blast to redirect back to the time traveler. In response to Goldfishman's counterattack, he captures the water orb back into his gyroscope and re-launches it again. The sidekick spins again and redirects it back. The simple game of throwing the ball is played between the time traveler and the sidekick. Present Gyroball and the audience look at the battle weirdly.
The game of ball catching continues with the audience being bored. Lexy is watching the battle with worry. Seeing that Future Gyroball is distracted by Goldfishman, Present Gyroball charges up his "Giga Gyro Drill" and hurl it toward the opponent, only for the time traveler to sense it and use the water ball to rob the adolescent of his balance. The ball exploded with the ground eroded into sediments and thus causing Present Gyroball to trip and fall down. The hero accidentally hurls the attack up into the air and land onto his back. This ultimately results with the Giga Gyro Drill to land onto his abdomen and explode with a crater.
"Ugg…" the hero groaned.
"Just admit defeat!" said the time traveler.
"Never!" said Present Gyroball.
"Then…"
Later, the scuba diver lashes the water whip at the time traveler's face. Though it isn't much due to him wearing a motorcycle helmet that masks his face, he felt the strong force from it. He falls back to the ground.
"Just admit defeat!" said Goldfishman with mocking tone.
Suddenly, the time traveler jabbed the scuba diver with a "Gyro Drill," causing the sidekick to spiral backward. Present Gyroball rises up, only for him to be knocked down by spiraling Goldfishman.
The two heroes look at each other, sighing as they find themselves to be check mate.
"We still have to stop the crazy man from getting Lexy," said Goldfishman.
"Yep," said Present Gyroball.
"Wait!" said Lexy. "Does anybody know where Darwin is?"
The crowd starts looking at each other saying "no."
"Darwin probably ran away due to how scary the fight is," Banana Jo joked about the merman being a coward.
"Yeah," said Tobias.
"Or maybe that he's looking for the new girl," said Sarah.
The crowd is wondering with "ums" and "who."
"Isn't it GumballOopsEggWobbleUnderpants of GumBaldNoWigBattleAxeNinja?" asked Bobert.
"Who's she?" asked Sarah.
The crowd looks at each other, looking for answer. But they got nothing.
"Ugg…" Anais groaned. "The school 'darling' from last three years ago."
"Hmm… something is odd…" said Bobert.
"Oh shut up!" said Gyroball. "Look, we're trying to beat up the crazy cook who somehow copied my powers and is after Lexy."
"Why would…" the students wonder.
"He's going to destroy her!" Goldfishman bluntly told the truth.
Anais face palms herself, disappointed of how oblivious the people of Elmore are.
"Oh heck no!" said Tobias. "We won't allow another darling to retire! Let's get them!"
"Shoot!" said Future Gyroball. "Now the student bodies are under the anomaly's control!? Guess that I need to fight them off since they're brainwashed."
"They're not brainwashed!" said Present Gyroball. "It's just that you're crazy about the whole time travel thing!"
As the students run toward to the time traveler, everything just stops its motion. The students are frozen in time. Two Gyroballs, Goldfishman, and Anais are the only people that are not frozen. Lexy is frozen among with everyone else.
Then suddenly, the flashing light descends from the sky, revealing itself to be Professor Psi. The Watterson siblings, excluding Lexy, become shocked.
"PROFESSOR PSI!?" every non-frozen individuals become shocked.
"In the flesh!" said Professor Psi.
"What brings you here?" asked Present Gyroball.
"You called for me,"
"But how?"
"Seriously?" said Future Gyroball.
"Oh… right! Telepathy!"
"That's right!" said Professor Psi. "And I'm here to stop Future Gyroball from making a mess in an alternate timeline."
"Huh?" the What-The-Sons expressed confusion.
"Future Gyroball is causing trouble in the timeline that he doesn't belong to."
"Hold up!" said Present Gyroball. "What's the talk about timeline? Don't tell me that he's actually from the future?"
"That's a tricky question with a tricky answer. Yes, he indeed did come from not the future, but from an alternate future. You see, he actually comes from an alternate timeline with its own history."
"That sounds like a many world interpretation, a theoretical physics and often philosophical concept where many world exists with its own set of natural laws and history," said Future Gyroball.
"Yes. This means that the past you supposedly traveled to is not actually the past you think of, but rather it's the earlier event of an alternate timeline. To traveled not to the past of your timeline, but rather to the past of another timeline."
"So I was right!" said Anais.
"Shut up!" said the time traveler. "That doesn't exempt the fact that I need to deal with that Lexy girl." He points his finger to the shocked girl, who is frozen.
"Why is she frozen?" asked Goldfishman.
The two Gyroballs and Anais face palm themselves.
"It's because that Lexy is not part of the GIGA fiasco!" said Professor Psi.
"What?" said Future Gyroball and Goldfishman.
"Oh yeah," said the ditzy scuba diver. "I forgot. She isn't part of the What-The-Sons. But I do have a feeling that…"
"We could discuss about this after. But right now, we need to clear out to Future Gyroball that Lexy is in no way connected to the GIGA Organization. She is not involved in the War against GIGAs, where the enemy force starts rallying otherworldly mercenaries. She just may be a 'native' of this timeline."
"What!" said Future Gyroball. "Okay… Assuming that time travel is based on quantum mechanics, more specifically the many world interpretation, there is a slim chance that I will 'time travel' into an alternate universe where my mom birthed a pair of twin with one boy and one girl. I mean, it's just far…"
"Yep. You definitely fall into the world where Nicole birthed Lexy as Gumball's twin. But remember that each alternate universe have different sequence of events. It may range from being radically different to very similar. But in this world, the mother lost the girl and impromptu lead to this way. The girl is lost, which sequentially lead the parents to cope with this loss by forgetting about her existence as it's too tragic and will eventually drag them down."
"Yeah," said Anais. "I remember that mom told us the story about how Lexy was lost as a newborn in the mall."
"Since when did we hear that story?" asked Present Gyroball. "We were having party time with Lexy for two days and two nights. Unless if…"
Present Gyroball is remembering the story of how Nicole had Lexy from 15 years ago. The story was told somewhere at the first night, when Lexy and Richard are playing video game. The mother brought three siblings to hear out the story along with making the promise that they will be great siblings to Lexy and make her feel like family.
"Oh yeah," said Present Gyroball. "But with all of the crazy stuff happening, I'm not sure how long can we hold it."
"Do whatever you think is right. You could tell Lexy the secret of the What-The-Sons and bring her into the crazy life. Or you could keep her out of it, but may have its fair share of risks. The choice is yours."
"And what about the time traveler?"
"I'll deal with it!"
"And what about the time freeze?" asked Anais. "And beside, who done the time freeze in the first place."
"I did," the professor confessed. "But I will deal with all this mess."
"How?"
"Just believe me on this one! It'll work like magic. I don't have a lot of time."
Anais was about to ask another question.
"It's taking too much energy from me to stop the motion of time. And don't ask any more question."
Anais shuts her mouth up.
"Now farewell, and I bid you good luck on the battle against the GIGA Organization, What-The-Sons!"
Then, the flash of light emanates from the professor, warping to whole space-time continuum and sending everybody back to their place.
At nighttime, the Watterson finds themselves in their normal attire. Lexy is with the three siblings, looking somewhat confused.
"What just happened?" asked Lexy.
"I just don't know," said Darwin.
"We were having such a big nap and we don't realize how much time has passed," Anais answered Lexy's question.
"Seems like it," said Gumball. "Well, we should check up what Mom and Dad are doing downstairs."
"Alright!" said Darwin and Anais. The two siblings walk downstairs. Gumball was about to leave downstairs, but his twin grabs his wrist.
"Hmm," said Gumball. "What is it?"
"Can you tell what's going on?" asked Lexy.
"What do you mean?"
"Remember my first night here?"
Gumball has a flashback to the discussion that he and Lexy had.
"Yeah. You were wondering about the future, how you'll fit in and all these stuff. Also, we somewhat poke fun with Anais, who was asleep through the whole night."
"And that twin often has psychic connection with each other."
"So what are you implying?"
"You and others are hiding stuff from me."
"What can I hide?"
"It's about the bad guys that kidnapped me earlier."
The cat-boy remembers Star Shooter, GIGA Organization, meteor showers, and recently himself as an adult. Apparently, he still remembers the event that Professor Psi has supposedly taken care of. Not only does he remember the professor that he often fight against during school, but also his advice of whether to invite her into the battle against the GIGA or keep her out of it. The risk between two choice are more-or-less or equally risky. But Gumball himself need to be the one to decide since not only is he the leader of the superhero team, but also GIGA's prized target due to his gravity manipulation and other mysteries that he supposedly hold.
"The bad guys apparently know about the Watterson family. And also, it seems as if there are some connection between the What-The-Sons and the Watterson."
"Don't make weird connection. It's just, ugg…"
"But…"
"Shh… Don't worry about a thing. Everything will be alright. And nothing weird will totally mess up our life."
"Alright, I will believe you."
"Thank you."
Right now, the pink-haired cat-girl starts thinking to herself. I still feel that Gumball is still hiding something from me. Yet, I wish that I could believe in his words. But the feeling that something's amiss and yearning to love and believe in my brother is contradicting each other. How can I live on knowing this feeling? If I live on further more into the future, the truth will hopefully unveil itself to me. All I can do is just live on and accept the new life that I got. I'm elated to have the new life with loving family, friend, and good community. But for some reason, I can't as I don't feel like I fully belong here. The secrecy still bothers me. If I wait patiently enough, it should come to me. So now on, I must wait and continue to live out my life.
Hmm… the blue-haired cat-boy thinks to himself. Man, why did the Professor have to tell me about the hard choice. Both of them may lead to unknown paths filled with peril. If only if I can see what lies ahead on the two paths that he presented to me. It would be a good thing to see the future or at least have some space-time related powers like time travel, but mostly remote chrono-viewing like precognition. If I can see what lies ahead, I can make the decision. But since it's seems as if it's strictly between the two, I may have to choose to cut her off from the What-The-Sons business and keep the superhero and GIGA stuff a big secret. All I can do is see if I made a right choice or not. If only if I were to be a grand 'watchmaker' of the universe, I would know as he can see the world as a point diverging into many lines of differing sequence of events, different history of causations and its effect and so forth. The many world interpretation as one contributing theory to time travel… Hmm… May not sound like a bad idea. There might be something more on what the professor has said.
After the two think to themselves, they walked downstairs together to see their parents and perhaps have quality family time like dinner and games.
With the Watterson in their home, the time traveler and the professor are in the junkyard, more specifically the rebuilt RV. Future Gumball had fixed up the place with the knowledge of advanced technology that he learned from his original timeline. Professor Psi looked impressed with the work his "apprentice" had done.
"Nice place you got!" said Professor Psi.
"Thanks," said Future Gumball.
"So you understand that time travel is different from what you think you know?"
"Right. Apparently timelines are more like separate, alternate universes of its own laws and history."
"That's right."
"I see. I definitely can see with my gyroscopic chronovisor technique." Cue the gyroscopic "crystal ball" with bright light and images in the middle. It is as if the orb is a super-powerful video footage that could be used by astrophysicists to view far away occurences. But this time, it transcends beyond the space and time on one universe and actually reach out to other universes. Moreso, it can see other timelines with its own sequence of events based on causations and its effect in there.
"Well, I'm glad that you're back."
"From what? I'm still me, but just really confused."
"That confusion could lead to insanity when unchecked. You nearly killed someone because of it."
"Yeah… But who are you exactly? Are you the same professor that I remembered from my timeline, or are you the different professor that is native to this timeline?"
"I'm both. Physically I am native to this timeline. But mentally or spiritually (or metaphysically, whatever that fits), I'm an amalgamation of both present and future."
"That explains the big boost in power."
"What? Stopping time? It's something that I got from my 'future self,' your mentor and great ally in the War Against GIGAs."
"Hmm… seems like that there is a limit to this chronovisor. It seems that I could only see the other timelines like a film roll. Complete with definite events and dividing as if it's an alien worm asexually reproducing itself with different 'DNA' sequence. But I cannot see this timeline."
"Well… that's because you standing on it. It's like being born on an isolated island like in Hawaii. The natives will think and believe that the island they stand is all that is left. They cannot see that there are other lands like Americas or Asia as they are far, beyond the limit of their observation. Even the astronomers with telescope cannot see the reaches beyond the universe, hence the observable universe. They cannot see the whole universe as the concept of it is just absurd and incomprehensible. They cannot see the universe (everything in existence) as a whole, but rather as a part, an observable portion of it. I think that astronomy is a better analogy than geography."
"Why? Cause of the obvious fact that astronomy and time travel is both hard physics and geography is nothing but natural history and earth science."
"Yeah."
"But there is one strange thing that I noticed today."
"What is it? Is it the worry that the MERC TRIO will come to get you and eliminate you?"
"That is one concern that I have. But there is another for my past counterpart."
"Do speak."
"It's about the strange thing that Darwin found at the beginning of this episode."
"Whoa! You just did not break the fourth wall."
"I'm not sure if I'm exactly breaking the fourth wall. Doing so will mean having some connection to the observers behind the fourth wall. And I'm not exactly communicating to them."
"But you somewhat expressed some idea as if you acknowledge yourself as a cartoon character."
"Would anybody suspect themselves to be a fictional character of a fictional story?"
"That is hardcore philosophy."
"Yeah… exactly. Philosophers, who critically think about things like existence, concepts and whatnot, do have radical ideas like people being a creation of some playwright."
"Ugg… You remind me of my particular dislike toward watchmakers."
"Why?"
"Aside of that, what about Darwin and the thing he found."
"I suspect that he found a clue to how the GIGA Organization sharply rises in power and defeated the ELF Guards in our timeline. He has this communication device that allows the user to communicate with any otherworldly intelligence, that includes the watchmaker or narrator or whoever that keeps time continuing."
"Seems like he gone mad from it."
"Actually, it's Anais that gone mad as she kept hearing the voice narrating every action that is occurring. It's just flat out annoying that there are someone that narrate everything you do and you realize it, causing much more confusion and insanity."
"Hmm… Whoever that invented this cross-dimensional radio device is a genius on theoretical physics, quantum mechanics, and all the other crazy super sciences."
"And that genius is named Professor Killjoy."
"Whoever Professor Killjoy is, he must be really powerful force to be reckoned. We should be extra careful about him as he may be the greatest brain power that leads the GIGA to their victory."
"This could be a problem for the present Gumball."
"And that's why we need him to train vigorously and reach out to his potential."
"Understood."
"Psi Out!"
After the professor finished the discussion with Future Gumball, he beams himself out of the time traveler's secret residence. The time traveler is left with worry for the current timeline he is standing on along with his past counterpart. Professor Killjoy, mad physicist of unknown origin, may be a greatest threat that anybody can face. This leads to more concerns for the Present Gumball as he has to deal with all the mess that is occurring in his timeline. What will happen to the What-The-Sons as they continue their superhero business along with their fight against the GIGA Organization? Will the MERC TRIO act in the current timeline by fighting against either Gyroballs? Will Professor Killjoy reveal himself and the danger that Professor Psi worries about? And what about Lexy? Since Gumball has decided to cut her off from the What-The-Sons secrecy, how long can he keep up with it? Would it be better to invite her into the fight earlier? Now that the whole drama is over, I wonder what's next. The time traveler's threat is over thanks to Professor Psi.
All that is left is Professor Killjoy, and MERC TRIO. Super maker, Hydra may need to wait. Though, I did made a spoken cameo to the two baddies you made. Hmm... seems that the series is almost reaching to its conclusion. I'm trying to finish the series off with about 15-20 episodes. Maybe up to 25 if I just have enough time for it. But most likely 15-20 episodes by the next year.
