[Chapter 16: Copy That!]

Hayley's Cyberspace!

Jessica smiled as she handed a ground of students their smoothies before walking over to the counter where Hayley was working while Ethan tried to get a tray over to it's table.

"WAITER!" Cassidy yelled making Ethan look over at her.

Jessica moved quickly when she saw Ethan lose his footing, but she didn't make in time as Ethan hit the floor and the drinks on the tray spilled everywhere. The blonde turned towards Cassidy with a glare in place while Conner and Kira looked at the Blue Ranger who has landed in front of them.

"You do not yell for a waiter when he is carrying a loaded tray Cassidy," Jessica growled at the other blonde, "and you need to wait for some one to be available for you ask for one."

"Whatever," Cassidy sighed as she went back to her mirror.

Jessica groaned as she threw her hands up into the air before going to take more drinks to their table while Hayley took care of Cassidy.

"Clean up on aisle 5," Conner joked.

"Yeah, since when do you work here?" Kira asked.

"Hayley's really been short handed since Trent quite," Ethan answered as he got up on his knees. "I'm just trying to help her out."

"I guess kicking our butts have kept Trent real busy these days," Conner said.

"Yeah no doubt," Ethan agreed as Jessica walked over with a new tray.

"I hate to say this, but maybe you guys might have been right," Kira said as she let out a sigh before looking at Jessica with a look that said she was sorry, "maybe there is no good left in Trent."

Jessica looked at all three of her teammates before she sat down the tray while trying to keep from crying.

"I can't believe the three primary Rangers are so..." Jessica swallowed the lump in her throat, "are so quick to turn on a fellow Ranger in need of help wither he wants to admit it or not." Without giving them time to say anything the Green Ranger walked over to Hayley and told her that she need a break. "I'll be back later on to continue helping Hayley."

Hayley and the primary Rangers watched as Jessica ran out of the café before she ninja streaked back to Blue Bay Haber.

Blue Bay Haber-Wind Ninja Academy's Woods!

Jessica stopped to a stop in the woods round Blue Bay Haber near where the Wind Ninja Academy was before she let her tears fall as she leaned up against a tree. This is was how Tori found her Sister after having being on her way to the academy to teach. The former Blue Ranger looked worried as she walked up to Jessica.

"Jessica?" Tori asked making the Green Ranger look over at her, "what's wrong? What happened?"

The younger Hanson looked at Tori who let out a gasp when she saw the tears.

"Last year when Hunter and Blake where fighting for Lothor, did Shane and Dustin want them destroyed or did they want to help them?" Jessica asked.

"They wanted to help them and make them see reason, but they also wasn't about to let them harm others either," Tori answered wondering where her Sister was going with her question.

"Then how do I get Conner, Ethan, and Kira to see it that way with Trent?" the Green Ranger asked as she looked ahead again.

"I thought Kira was on your side," Tori said with surprise lasing her voice.

"She was until today," Jessica stated, "I don't know what to do anymore Tori."

Tori let out a sigh as she walked over to her Sister and wrapped her arm around her shoulder.

"Just don't give up," Tori told her, "that's all I can say. Not everyone is like each other."

Jessica laid her head on Tori's shoulder with a sigh.

"But, we're suppose to help people and Trent needs our help wither he wants to admit it or not," Jessica mumbled.

"And I agree, but Conner and Ethan are just properly trying to find away to deal with Trent being an evil Ranger," Tori stated, "and I guess Kira is trying to find away to deal with it as well even if it means agreeing with Conner and Ethan."

The Green Ranger let out a sigh as the two girls just stood there with each other when all of a sudden Jessica's morpher beeped.

"Come in Rangers," Tommy's voice sounded, "we got a situation. I need you over at the City Center right away."

"Be there soon," Jessica told him before pulling out of her Sisters arms, "I've got to go."

"Be careful?" Tori asked.

Jessica smiled at her before moving a few feet away from Tori and brought her wrist up where her morpher appeared.

"Dino Thunder! Power Up! HA!"

Once Jessica was morphed, she took one leap and ninja streak off towards Reefside.

City Center's Park Lot!

"Alright you creep, we're taking you down," Conner yelled as the four Rangers come upon the monster.

"Oh, yeah?" the Monster asked as he turned around to face them, "says who?" The new monster was made up of several giant peppers with an otter face and claws. "Here's a pepper for you!"

Copyotter throw a red pepper at them, but Kira sent it right back with a swing of her sabre.

"I'm not suppose to have to many spicy foods," Kira told him, "thanks anyways." The three Rangers all ran up to Kira cackling.

"There how about some sea food?" Copyotter asked, "now this is what I call shell-shocking."

Jessica ducked behind Conner as Copyotter started to throw calms at them, but Ethan cut them down before they could make it.

"Tricera Shield!"

"That's exactly what I was waiting for," the Copyotter laughed as a strange light on his arm lite up purple. "Now here's my secret weapon! Copy...Tricera Shield!"

Jessica let out a gasp while Ethan took a step back in surprise as a replica Tricera Shield appeared on his arm.

"No way!"

"Fire!"

"Ethan!" Jessica called out as Ethan was blasted by the Copyotter who laughed.

Conner and Kira rushed over to Ethan's side once he had hit the floor.

"Ethan?" "Are you ok?"

The two Rangers looked up at the Copyotter who just laughed before they stood up and moved to stand in front of Ethan.

"Now it's on," Kira said.

"Tyranno Staff!"

"Ptera Grips!"

"NO WAIT!" Jessica yelled, "YOU MUSTN'T..."

However, she never got the chance to finish as the light once again lite up purple after the two primary Rangers' weapons appeared.

"Copy!"

"He copied our weapons!"

"That's cheating!"

The Green Ranger let out a groan as she raised a hand to her helmet covered head as Kira and Conner where hit with the replica of their weapons.

"You guys!" Ethan yelled as he and Jessica ran up to them.

"He's got our weapons," Kira said, "what else does he want?"

"Copy!" Copyotter said for a third as the light lite up purple, "hi, I'm the Yellow Ranger. Aren't I cute?"

"My voice!" Kira yelled in outrage.

"Oh, that's cold," Ethan said with a hint of a laugh.

"That's enough," Conner growled as he moved to get up.

"I agree," Copyotter seconded, "I have more important things to copy." The Copyotter turned around and started to run off. "See ya."

The four Rangers all stood up looking at the place that the monster once stood.

"Just how are we suppose to stop this guy if he just copies our weapons when we use them?" Ethan asked as Jessica looked worried.

"We start by finding him," Kira answered before the four of them left.

Town Center!

Trent moved at a fast pace hitting a monster.

"One of Zeltrax's freaks no doubt," the White Ranger mused as he jumped away onto some nearby steps. "Maybe you'll be a challenge."

"Ah, just the Ranger I was looking for!" the monster grins, the machine at it's core glowing bright purple as Trent's grip tightened on his Drago Sword. "Copy!" Soon enough a replica of the Sword was in Copyotter's grasp. "Sweet!"

"Hey!" Trent yelled shocked.

"I'll be taking this," the monster said with a cackle, "bye-bye!"

And with that, it was gone in a flash of green before Trent jumped down from his perch to where the monster had been standing with a frown etched on his face under the helmet.

"What was that about?" he pondered aloud.

Country Side!

The four Rangers pulled up on their cycles in the country side before getting off.

"His signal is coming from around here," Conner told them as they jogged forward.

"Then where is he?" Kira asked when they came to a stop.

"Looking for a me?" Copyotter's voice asked from behind them making Jessica and Kira turn around at the same time to face him as the two boys ran over to them. "I was out picking peppers."

Copyotter threw more peppers at them, but the Rangers all ducked and rolled away from them as they exploded.

"Be careful," Ethan said, "remember he can copy our weapons."

"Then how do we fight him?" Kira asked.

"I've got it," Conner whispered them as he clapped his hands together, "we closed the head of the Z-Rex Blaster, he makes a copy, fires it, and it's explodes."

"I never thought that I would agree with a dumb idea like that," Jessica stated.

"Sneaky," Ethan said as he looked at the Red Ranger, "I like it."

"Let's do it!"

"Are you done with your meeting over there?" Copyotter asked.

"Just a minute," Conner answered as he closed the mouth of his Tyranno Staff.

"Z-Rex Blaster!" the Rangers all called together as they combined their weapons.

"Ready."

"Copy!" Copyotter announced as he made to copy their blaster, "Z-Rex Blaster! Ready to go!"

"That's it," Conner whispered.

"Oh, wait?" he asked as he moved his hand to open the mouth, "I almost forgot."

Jessica gasped as Copyotter opened it.

"Oh no," Conner gasped.

"Now it's ready," Copyotter said, "FIRE!"

Copyotter blasted all four Rangers with the replica of the Z-Rex Blaster sending them landing in the water. They were unaware, however, of Trent not to far from them.

"Looks like I get to fight the winner," Trent said as he rubbed his hands together.

Suddenly, a green light appeared behind them and a claw struck out, latching onto his shoulder. Trent frowned before being spun around and was pulled through the invisiportal.

"Now get up," Copyotter told the Rangers as they tried to stand, "so I can blast you again."

"I don't think so," Tommy informed Copyotter as he appeared holding his Brachio Staff.

"Another one?" Copyotter asked confused.

"Brachio Staff! Wind Strike!" Tommy thrust his staff into the ground and a strong gust of wind hit Copyotter knocking the replica Z-Red Blaster out of his hands. "Guys?"

Tommy ran over to them to make sure that they where ok.

"Watch out," Jessica told him.

"I'll take one of those," Copyotter said as he moved to copy the Brachio Staff. "Copy!" A replica of the Brachio Staff appeared in his hand. "Brachio Staff! Wind Strike!"

The Rangers all cried out as they where blasted by the wind strike sending falling into the water.

Mesogog's Lab!

"Traitor!" Mesogog hissed as he was leaning over Trent as he woke up strapped to a chair. "You'll regret double-crossing me!"

"Traitor?" Trent asked with frowned and his felt his eyes widen in confusion, "what are you talking about?"

"You cannot be trusted," he stated simply, lowering a laser-needle closer to the unmorphed White Ranger, who paled in fear "you must be eliminated."

"No!" Trent shouted, shaking his head, "you're making a mistake!"

"Good-bye, White Ranger," he hissed before turning the laser on.

White light then began being sucked out of the Ranger's body as he twisted frantically, trying to get free.

"Dad, don't!" he yelled, grasping at straws at this point, "it's me! Trent! I'm your son!"

Mesogog ignored him, turning away.

"Dad…don't…please…," he pleaded, his voice weak.

The mutant hissed in frustration as his claws began to pulse bright orange, and before he or the White Ranger knew it he had fell over with flashes of green and red light flooding his body. Soon enough the lights faded and Anton Mercer stood up shakily running over to Trent.

"Trent!" he yelled jerking the laser away seconds before it went off blasting into a computer console. It reflected off of this, and bounced around the lab eventually coming to hit Trent's Dino Gem. "Trent!" The White Ranger groaned, his eyes fluttering open slowly. "Are you alright?"

Undoing the straps holding Trent to this chair.

"I'm…fine," Trent answered with nodded, "I feel like my old self again."

"The explosion," Anton stated in awe as he was staring down at the bracelet on his son's wrist. "The explosion must have shattered…the evil encoding of the White Dino Gem."

"So…does that mean there's no more White Ranger?" Trent asked almost hopefully.

"As far as I can tell…," Anton began as he was examining the gem, "the power is still active."

"Great," Trent said hesitantly, "what do I do with it now?"

"You are going use it," Anton answered, "however, you choose."

Suddenly before Trent knew what was happening Anton falls to the ground on his knees, hissing in pain. Trent jumped off the chair placing a hand on his father's shoulder.

"Dad, what's wrong?"

"You have to get out of here," he stated as the pain increased.

"No, I can help!"

"No!" Anton told them, "I'll find a way to stop this. Until I do, it's time for you to go and use your power for something good. Go and help the other Rangers."

"The other Rangers?" he asked shaking his head, "that's crazy! I can't fight against you!"

"I know you, son, I know you'll do what you have to do," his father told him,

"I won't tell them your secret, Dad," Trent promised, "I promise."

"Go!" Anton yelled before Trent ran off moments before Anton's eyes began to glow red.

Forest!

"How's the dirt taste?" the Copyotter asked the five Rangers before a sound reached their ears making the monster to look up. "Huh?"

All 5 Rangers where surprised when Trent rode in firing his lasers at the monster. Trent stopped before getting off of his vehicle.

"Looks like you guys could use some help," Trent told them before he faced the monster.

Trent pulled out his weapon and attacked the creature with blinding speed. When he went in for another the Copyotter had already copied his weapon, blocked his attacks, and attacked him making the White Ranger back up.

"Let's see how you like?" the Copyotter said before he attacked them at the same speed that they had used.

"That's crazy," Kira said as they watched the fight.

"Who's side is he on now?" Conner asked once Trent where knocked into a tree.

"Is that all you've got?" Copyotter asked.

"Actually no," Trent answered. "Super Dino Mode!"

The 5 Ranger where in shock at the saw as Trent's suits got spikes, but the difference between theirs and Trent's was that the White Ranger got two wrist swords.

"He's got Super Dino Mode!" Conner said in disbelief.

"And I like it," Trent said with a grin in his voice.

"Bye, now," the monster chuckled, only for him to gasp when Trent came flying out of the smoke towards him.

"We're not done yet!" Trent yelled before he slammed into him and driving him backwards, where he smashed him into a tree.

"But, I thought we were on the same side!" Copyotter groaned.

"Not anymore," Trent stated before he blasted the monster which caused it to explode as they walked away.

"Is this another tick?" Conner asked.

"Weird."

"Trent?"

"Hmm."

"I'm so lost."

Any responses were cut off by the sound of black and purple rain pelting down onto the remains of the Copyotter making the Rangers all glancing over to see the monster grow and grow until it reached building size.

"Copy this Rangers."

"Whoa."

"Oh good grief."

"Brachio!"

The Brachio moved into view before depositing 3 of their Zords nearby. Conner, Kira, and Ethan look one last confused glance at Trent, before jumping away and into their Zords, forming the Thundersaurus MegaZord.

"Come on guys, you can do it!" Tommy encouraged them from below, "you can take him." Without warning Tommy was knocked to the ground by Zeltrax, who had just teleported in silently ready to attack. "Huh?" Tommy rolled, landing on his back, and glared up at Mesogog's robotic henchman. "You again."

"I've been watching for this moment for a long time," Zeltrax growled, his fingers twitching on the hilt of his sword in anticipation.

He raised the weapon, but the White Ranger's Drago Sword and Green Ranger's Thundermax Sabre comes into view blocking the hit.

"Get back, Zeltrax!" Trent ordered.

"Stay away from Dr O," Jessica growled.

"You!" he cried angrily at the White Ranger before being kicked backwards to the ground.

"What's going on?" Tommy inquired as Jessica stood next to him watching silently as Trent and Zeltrax battled it out, until Trent ducked behind a tree when Zeltrax fired purple lightning in his direction. "Okay, now I'm really confused."

"Your not the only one Dr O," Jessica told him.

Before he knew it, Zeltrax was in front of him knocking him back with a slash of his sword, and landed at Tommy's feet. Jessica knelt down next to Trent to make sure he was okay as Tommy attacked Zeltrax only to be beaten backwards and thrown to the ground. His moves left Trent enough time to recover, and the White Ranger got up before attacking Zeltrax again.

"You will pay dearly for that, traitor!" Zeltrax roared looking up at the three Rangers as they stood together before warping away in a flash of green.

"You okay?" Trent asked, turning towards the Black Ranger.

"What do you want?"

"Power down," Trent announced before starting towards his science teacher.

"Whoa, stop right there!" Tommy exclaimed backing up, but the look in Trent's eyes made him second guess himself.

"Dr. Oliver, Jessica, you gotta listen to me…"

Dino Lab!

"Hey, guys," Trent greeted when the 3 of the Rangers Rangers appeared.

All 3 of them went on the defense making Jessica to look over from where she was standing.

"Whoa," Conner said as Jessica walked up to stand next to Trent, "how did you get in here?"

"I let Trent in," Tommy answered Conner instead of Trent.

"What?" Conner asked in shock before they walked closer to Tommy who moved to stand next to Trent. "But he's..."

"Oh our side now," Tommy interrupted.

"Yeah right," Ethan said, "every time we hear that he burn us." Ethan and Conner glared at the White Ranger. "Why should we believe him now?"

"Because he save my life," Tommy answered.

"Is that true?" Conner asked looking at three of them.

"Yeah," Trent answered him, "I'm in control of the Dino Gem now. I want to use it to fight with you."

"I wouldn't have brought Trent here if I didn't think he was telling the truth," Tommy stated as he looked at them. "Only you can decide wither or not you trust him."

"Well, if Dr O is down with it then I guess I'm on broad, too," Ethan said.

"Yeah, I guess we've got no choice," Conner agreed, "considering I'm tried of fighting you."

Trent smiled at Conner before the dark haired boy turned around to face Jessica.

"Look I know I've got a lot to make up for," Trent started to explain to Jessica, "but, I promise that this I won't let you down."

"I well I guess that everyone deserve one last chance," Jessica told him with a smile, "but, isn't there a rule that says that newbie Rangers have to wash all the Zords?"

"Hey, I forgot about that rule," Ethan agreed with a smile.

"The Zords?" Trent asked as he spun around to look at them, "but, their gigantic!"

"Yeah, they are," Conner agreed as four Rangers gave him cleaning supplies, "so better get started."

"And let's not forget that there are also a lot of them," Kira called as Trent walked away before they laughed.
