[Chapter 20: Fighting Spirit!]

Wind Ninja Academy!

It's been about a few days since Tommy was finally able to get out of morph, but was turned invisible because his Dino Gem Power went into overdrive. Right now, Jessica sat on a bench watching as Tori, Shane, and Dustin taught their class while waiting for her own Sensei.

"Hey, Jess!" two female voices called out.

Jessica turned her head to the side to see two girls running up to her smiling.

"Hey, Marah, Kapri," she greeted as soon as they sat down next to her.

"So how's Reefside High?" Marah asked, "are there any cute boys there?"

Jessica giggled as Kapri rolled her eyes at her Sister.

"Marah, you have a boyfriend so you don't need to drool over any more boys," Kapri told her.

"I was asking if she found any boys she likes," Marah stated with a bit of an edge to her voice making Jessica smiled at the two Sisters before her mind went to Trent. "I know that look." By then both Sisters where looking at the younger Hanson. "You do have your eyes on some one. So spill!"

It was the Green Ranger's turn to roll her eyes.

"His name is Trent," Jessica informed them, "but, with all the attacks from Mesogog and my Ninja/Samurai training on top of schooling, I just haven't been able to say anything to him. Plus I'm afraid he might not like me the way I like him."

"That's tough," Karpi agreed as nodded her head, "just don't rush it."

"Besides, why wouldn't he like you?" Marah asked, "your sweet, your talented in whatever you put your mind to, and you kick butt."

"I have to agree with Marah and Karpi," a familiar voice said.

All three girls looked up to see Tori, Shane, Dustin, and Cam standing in front of them.

"Totally," Dustin agreed as Marah joined his side with a smile while her Sister Karpi joined Shane's side.

Jessica smiled at the 6 of them a bit shyly.

"Just don't rush it like Karpi said and don't sell yourself short," Tori told her Sister.

Cam smiled at his Student who stood up from the bench.

"Why don't you go and join your friends?" Cam asked, "even check up on your mentor/teacher and Black Ranger."

Jessica nodded with a bigger smile then before.

"Thanks Sensei," she said before she took off.

Tori laughed while she shook her head.

"She really needs to loosen up," Shane said, "she does rollerblading, Gymnastics, Ninja/Samurai training, she draws in her free time, she has her school life to think about, and now being a Ranger as well."

"She's going to burn out and/or get sick," Dustin agreed.

Cam and Tori shared a look with each other while thinking over everything.

"I think she needs some time off to relax," Tori stated, "what do you think Cam?"

"I agree with you, Tori," Cam nodded, "can you inform her later when she get's home that she can have the rest of the week off of training as long as she relaxes and takes it easy?"

"Sure," Tori agreed with a nod.

"Thanks."

The former Primary Rangers, Marah, and Karpi watched as Cam left before going back to they where doing.

Dino Lab!

"Sup Hayley," Ethan greeted as the four of them walked into the Dino Lab, "where's Dr O?"

"Yeah," Kira agreed, "not that we could see him if he was here."

"Hey guys," Tommy's voice greeted from where the weights.

"I'll never get use to that," Kira told them.

"Ditto," Jessica agreed with a nod.

"Hey, uh, Dr. O," Conner started as he walked towards the work out area, "no offence...but, whats the point of building your Biceps if nobody is going to see them?"

The weights hit the ground at that.

"Well, that's why I called you here," Tommy answered as he picked up a black towel, "Hayley found a way to bring me back to normal."

"That's great," Kira said.

"What are we waiting for?" Ethan asked, "let's do it."

"Hang on everybody," Hayley sighed as she brushing past Kira and Conner, "Tommy, I told you that I think the remolecuriser may make you visible again, but I haven't found a power source strong enough for it yet."

"I've been thinking about that," Tommy said as he picked up a black box and handing it to Hayley, "maybe we should use this."

Hayley took the box while Jessica moved to stand slightly behind her to look over her shoulder as she opened the box.

"No way," Hayley said when he saw the Black Dino Gem, "forget it."

"We've gotta try something," Tommy told him, "my Dino Gem is the most powerful source of energy we have."

"Powerful being the operative word," Hayley told him, "I have no idea how your body will react to it. Its too risky."

"Hayley, we don't have a choice," Tommy told her.

The genius let out a sigh as she looked to where Tommy was standing with a defeated look on both of their faces. After a while of setting up the machines before Hayley covered Tommy with a blanket that has the Dino Thunder Symbol on it.

"For the record," Hayley said as she straighten out the blanket, "I still think this is a bad idea."

"And for the record," Kira said as she walked up with Jessica.

"We agree with Hayley," Jessica finished.

"Don't worry," Tommy told them, "I'll be fine."

Ethan picked up some wires while Kira held the same kind in her hands.

"See you soon Dr O," Ethan told him, "literally, I hope."

Both the Yellow and Blue Rangers placed the wires in their spots before moving away from them. As Hayley booted up the machine. The 5 visible occupants watched and waited before suddenly Tommy's body started to convulse rapidly while the machine started to smoke.

"It's over loading," Hayley told them.

"What's happening?" Kira asked.

"The energy turnmanitor shot down," Hayley answered, "he's receiving full charge."

Hayley quickly shot it off before they noticed that he's Dino Gem was completely destroy, but they all saw him return to normal only he was out cold.

"Tommy," Hayley called out as they all surround him, "Tommy, can you hear me?"

Reefside Hospital!

Jessica stood next to Trent with Kira on her other side by Tommy's bed listening to the doctor and Hayley..

"What's wrong with him Doctor?" Hayley asked as they all stood around Tommy's bed.

"I have no idea Hayley," the Doctor answered, "his vitals are stable, but his brain patterns are wildly erratic."

"Can you get him out of it?" Jessica asked.

"We're trying," the doctor answered as he looked at her, "but he's not react to anything."

"He's gonna be okay, right?" Ethan asked making Sam to look up.

"Look, I'm not going to lie to you," the doctor stated, "but the longer he stays like this, the more at risk he is."

"Thanks Doctor Walsh," Hayley thanked.

"You're friends going to get the best care possible," the Doctor told them before leaving the room.

"Breaking news," a news reporter said, "the city is under attack by a terrifying creature." The screen showed the attack and to the Rangers shock it was Terrorsaurus again. "Citizens are told to stay in doors until further notice."

"Justin and I well stay with him," Hayley told them.

"We'll be back as soon as we can," Conner told her.

All the Rangers in the room took off to face the monster all still worried about Tommy.

Parking Lot!

Once they were full morphed and had called for their cycles, the Rangers all arrived on scene, but Conner was the first to attack by fire his lasers.

"At last" Terrorsaurus growled, "just who I wanted to see."

"Tyranno Staff!" Conner said before his staff appeared in his hand and both he and the new Terrorsaurus started to fight while the others waited for their chance, "I thought that the last Terrorsaurus was ugly, but you even got him beat."

The new Terrorsaurus was able to knock Conner to the ground before Kira, Ethan, and Jessica rode up firing their lasers giving Conner time to get back into the fight. Once again Terrorsaurus sent Conner to the ground before he sent the others as well as Jessica to the ground. Just then Trent showed him firing his lasers at Terrorsaurus.

"Trent!"

Terrorsaurus then sent Trent to the ground much to the others surprise making the White Ranger to demorph. The Rangers where once again sent to the ground, but only Conner and Kira where forced to demorph while Jessica jumped back onto her Rapter Cycles while Ethan called his Hovercraft Cycle before all three attacked him. Terrorsaurus was able to force Ethan to demorph before he set his eyes on Jessica before he forced her to also demorph.

"Ethan," Conner cried as he, Kira, and Jessica helped them helped while Trent joined them. "This guy has worked my last nerve. Ready?"

"Ready."

"White Ranger! Dino Power!"

"Dino Thunder! Power Up! Ha!"

Jessica blinked when she saw that they where all still in their civilian forms which confused them all.

"Whats going on?" Conner asked.

"That thing fired our morphing energy," Ethan answered.

Jessica looked down thinking while the others where not all happy.

"Not so tough now are you?" Terrorsaurus asked.

Jessica looked up just the monster left them there.

"He's gone," Jessica groaned.

Just then Cassidy and Devin ran up to them.

"Hey guys," the blond greeted them making all 5 of them to turn around to look at them. "Oh my goodness. What happened to you guys?"

"Uh, things are a bit fuzzy, but I would say I giant mutant attack," Kira answered.

"Didn't the Power Rangers come and help you out?" Cassidy asked.

"No," Trent answered with a small laugh, "I guess they couldn't make it."

"Yeah," Conner agreed, "no Power Rangers any where near here."

"That's weird they normally show up when anyone needs them," Devin told them.

"Well maybe their at the laundry mat washing those shinny suits," Kira tried to joke.

"Yeah," Devin agreed a bit worried.

The Rangers quickly walked away before Cassidy and Devin could ask anymore questions.

Reefside Hospital!

All the Rangers stood in Tommy's Hospital room along with the Doctor.

"Any news Doctor?" Hayley asked, "is there anything you can tell us?"

"Sorry Hayley," the Doctor answered, "no change."

Jessica watched the Doctor walk out before she looked back at Tommy.

"I wish there was something we could do," Kira said, "I feel completely helpless."

"Dr O is pretty tough Kira," Conner told her, "I mean he gave me a C- on my term paper."

"He was being generous," Jessica jumped in.

The others all laughed a bit before it was ruined by the TV.

"Breaking news the Creature is back," the news reporter said.

"I had a feeling he'll be back," Ethan stated.

"There's nothing we can do about it," Trent told him.

"Where are the Power Rangers?" the news reporter asked while the Rangers stood in the room watching the news. "I repeat, where are the Power Rangers?"

"That's is," Conner spoked up, "you guys can stay here and watch this, but I can't."

Kira, Ethan, and Jessica watched as Conner walked towards the doors of the room.

"Hold up!" Ethan told him.

"We're going with you," informed Kira.

Trent and Jessica followed Ethan as he and Kira followed Conner.

"What are you doing?" Hayley asked, "you can't fight without your powers."

"That wouldn't stop Dr O," stated Ethan, "and it's not going to stop us."

Trent closed the door once Jessica and Ethan left the room.

Quarry!

The five Rangers jogged up to face the Terrorsaurus who stopped and looked at them.

"Hold it right there you freak," said Conner, "we're going to stop you right here and right now."

"Tough talk from a bunch of Powerless Rangers," the Terrorsaurus said.

The Rangers charged at the Terrorsaurus while he fired blast of energy at them till it filly knocked them to the ground.

"Your through," said the Terrorsaurus just as Jessica and Conner where the first two up before the other three joined them and all five Rangers rushed in together and attack, but Conner and Trent where the first to hit the ground. "This is pathetic." The Terrorsaurus attacked all five Rangers at the same time with an energy blast that sent them to the ground. "It's over."

As the Rangers all started to get up Tommy came jumping in knocking Terrorsaurus away from the others.

"Dr O!" Conner called as they stood up.

"Your alive."

Tommy looked with a smile before nodding.

"Not for long," Terrorsaurus said as he got back up.

Tommy glared at the Terrorsaurus before his morpher appeared.

"Dino Thunder! Power Up! Ha!" The five Rangers watched with smiles as Tommy morphed into the Black Ranger. "Brachio Power!"

"Big deal."

The Terrorsaurus attacked Tommy only for him jump away. Tommy managed to kick Terrorsaurus off of a cliff, but he still landed on his feet before running to the edge.

"Super Dino Mode!"

The lines on Tommy's Ranger suit became more pronounced making the others stared in awe.

"Wow," Conner breathed, "when did he get Super Dino Powers."

"I don't know, but he took a good time to bust them out," Ethan answered.

Tommy jumped down and started fighting Terrorsaurus making them all stare in awe of the fight as their Black Ranger got the upper hand. Tommy used one of this Energy Orbs to destroy the Terrorsaurus causing a white rock to fall and break apart unleashing the energies of the Rangers Dino Gems.

"Sweet, we got out powers back," Ethan said.

All 5 Rangers ran up to Tommy with smiles.

"Dr O."

"Okay what was that about?" Conner asked.

"You wouldn't believe me even if I told you," Tommy answered.

"You didn't think I would give up that easily, did you?" Terrorsaurus asked as he appeared in a bigger form.

"Think you three can finish this guy?" Tommy asked.

"Totally," Conner answered, "ready?"

"Ready."

"DINO POWER! POWER UP! HA!"

Tommy, Trent, and Jessica all watched as the three Primary colors took on Terrorsaurus before destroying it.

Dino Lab!

All the Rangers were inside the Dino Lab where Tommy told them about what happened to him while the others where standing in front of.

"Okay let me get this straight three of your old ranger powers came back in your dream?" Ethan asked.

"And you had to fight them to get your life back?" Conner asked.

"This is awesome."

They all started talking at the same time.

"Guys," he cackled a bit, "I just wanted to thank you all, from the bottom of my heart for hanging in there with me through all of this. It was tough, but you guys came through. It means a lot to me."

"That's right," Hayley said walking over to stand behind Tommy, "you all should be really proud of yourselves."

Jessica smiled at Hayley before they all heard a sniffle making them all to look over at Conner.

"Are you crying?" Ethan asked him.

"No!" Conner answered at once, "we're just really glad to have you back Dr O."
