[Chapter 23: Drawn into Danger!]

Reefside High Soccer Field!

Jessica sat in the bleachers watching as Ethan, Trent, and Conner played Soccer together. Right now Ethan had the ball, but out of nowhere Conner managed to steal it from him. As Conner moved towards the net, Trent slid in and stole the ball from the Red Ranger. He then shot it into the net while Jessica clapped for him as the White Ranger blew kissing to his imaginary fans while Ethan and Conner walked up to him. Trent looked over at Jessica with a smile before giving her a wink which caused the Green Ranger to turned red in the face.

"Goal!" Ethan yelled, "and the young rookie takes down the Mighty McKnight in a stunning upset."

Ethan and Trent high fived each other with grins.

"Where you learn to slide attack like that?" Conner asked as Jessica joined them.

"I use to played on a league when I was little," Trent answered him as they walked, "guess I still got some moves."

"Good cause I need a practice partner," Conner told him, "how about tomorrow at ten?"

"I can't," Trent answered him, "Carson Brady is going to be at the Cyberspace tomorrow to sign his latest graphic novel. There's no way I'm missing that."

"Isn't he like your totally comic book god?" Ethan asked.

"The best," answered Trent, "I still can't believe that I get to meet."

Trent put his soccer bag over his shoulder.

"What about you, Jessica?" Conner asked.

"Dude, I've got to work during the whole Carson Brady signing autographs thing," Jessica informed him, "and after that I have my Samurai training followed by Gymnastics and then any homework that I've haven't finished yet."

Ethan and Trent gave the Green Ranger pity looks which earned them a smack on the head from her.

"Yikes," Conner winced before looking at them, "well, I still need a practice partner so I guess that you the lucky one."

Trent and Jessica looked at Ethan who looked away from them.

"Gentlemen and Lady, I trust you have a promit to use the practice fields after school hours?" Randall asked as she walked up to them.

Jessica looked at her with widen eyes hoping that she didn't hear the Green Ranger say anything about her Samurai training or Cam was going to have her head.

"Of course," Conner answered with a smile as he reached and pulled a slip out of his shoe.

Conner opened it up and handed it to Randall who took the paper from him and looked at it while the other three Rangers where looking at her.

"Yes, well, it does seem to be in order," Randall agreed as she held it with a scowl she handed the paper back to Conner, but when he went to take it back, she didn't him have it. "May I suggest some anti-fugal spray?"

"Have a nice day, Miss Randall," Trent said as he, Ethan, and Jessica waved as the Randall left them after letting Conner take back the slip.

She turned to glare at the Rangers before walking off.

"Well, I have to go guys," Jessica sighed as she moved to walk away, "Samurai training and then it's the skate park for me." The Green Ranger stopped before she looked at Trent. "I'll see you tomorrow Trent."

"Right," Trent agreed as the Green Ranger turned back around and started to walk away again, "have fun!"

"See ya," Conner and Ethan said.

They all watched as Jessica's walk turned into a ran which then turned into her Ninja Streaking for the Wind Ninja Academy.

Next Day-Hayley's Cyberspace!

Jessica let out a sigh as she brought smoothies to a table before going back to the counter to drop off the tray she was using. Jessica then picked up another tray, looked at the order and walked over to where Carson Brady was signing autographs. Carson smiled at her as she sat a soda bottle down a bit to his left.

"Here you go Mr Brady," she said before moving to deliver the rest of the smoothies.

"Thanks!" he called out to her as she was placing the smoothy in front of the customer.

She smiled as she looked back at him.

"No problem!"

It was then that her blue eyes caught sight of Trent and offered him a smile which he returned back she went back to the counter. Jessica had just turned around to go and take more orders from the customers when she noticed Cassidy and Devin walk into the cafe looking like Superhero rejects.

"What the hell is she wearing?" Jessica asked.

Choosing not to saying anything more, the Green Ranger went back to taking orders when out of the corner of her eyes, she noticed Randall in front of Carson.

"Mr Brady," Randall breathed, "it's such a pleasure to meet you."

"Thanks," he thanked, "you can call me, Carson."

"And you can call me, Principal Randall," states Randall, "you are such a wonderful artiest." Jessica continued to watch in shock even as Trent joined her. "I love the way you draw those little pictures." Trent watched Jessica's reaction to Randall and was trying to not to laugh as her facial expressions. "Please expect this gift..." Randall held out a pen to him. "From one of your biggest fans."

"Thanks," Carson thanked this time a bit unsure as he took the pen, "I can't never have to many pens."

"Perhaps, you can use it on your new project," Randall suggested.

"Yeah, I guess," Carson agreed a bit nervously, "why not?"

"Promise?"

"Uh...ok," Carson answered with a nod.

"Fabulous," Randall breathed, "I'll hold you to that."

Jessica watched as Randall walked away from the autograph table before Trent placed a hand on her shoulder making her jump.

"Hey, you ok?" he asked looking worried.

Jessica looked over at him with a smile.

"I'm fine Trent," she answered, "I just having a hard believing that was Principal Randall is all."

Trent laughed before nodding his head in agreement.

"I know how you feel," he agreed before he took the tray from her, "I'll take this." Jessica looked at him in surprise before smiling. "So why aren't asking for an autograph from Carson?"

Jessica laughed this time while following Trent.

"I'm more of a Manga geek then a Comic book geek," answered the Green Ranger.

"Manga?" Trent asked as he turned around to face her after setting the drinks down on the right table.

"It's the Japanese version of the Comic book only the pictures are drawn differently and the story line normally takes place in Japan," Jessica answered him.

"Sound cool."

Jessica laughed before she and Trent walked over to the counter where the Green Ranger reached behind it and pulled out her backpack.

"I need to get going," she told him, "you ok waiting the floor alone?"

Trent smiled as her as he took the next tray.

"I'll be fine, so go and get to your training."

Jessica gave him one last smile before heading out the door.

Wind Ninja Academy!

"What do you think Sensei?" Jessica ask as she and Cam locked wooden swords together once she told him about what happened at the cyber cafe.

The two Samurai's jumped away from each other before they started to circle each other.

"I think that you need to listen to your instincts," answered Cam as they once again locked swords, "you seem to have gotten that from your Sister."

"So you don't think that I'm being paranoid then?"

Cam shook his head as Tori, Shane, and Dustin walked up to watch them.

"No I don't," he told her with a smile, "it's good to be paranoid every now and then." The two of them pulled away again before lowering the swords. "That's enough for today."

"Of course," Jessica agreed with a bow before she stood up straight and walked off to get clean up.

Tori and the other two walked up to Cam who was watching his student and successor in color walk away looking worried.

"What's up Cam?" Shane asked.

Cam let out a sigh before turning to face his friends.

"I'm just worried about Jessica is all."

"Why?" asked Tori at once.

Cam looked over at the Water Ninja.

"She's been sensing something off with the Principal of her High School and she didn't know who to turn, too, besides you," answered the former Green Ranger.

"Why not talk to Dr O?" Dustin asked confused.

Cam just shook his head before looking back to where Jessica disappeared to.

"I'm not sure," he finally answered.

Next Day-Reefside High Soccer Field!

Kira and Tommy stood off to the side as watching as Conner and Ethan played Soccer on the field of the High School.

"Let's go Ethan!" Tommy called as he clapped.

"Come on Ethan, you can do it!" Kira joined in as Ethan kicked the ball and tried to keep it from Conner. "Wow, Ethan actually has some game." Kira smiled as she looked at Tommy surprised before it turned to worry. "You don't think he was hit by some kind of weird personality altering meteor thing again?"

"Nah," Tommy answered.

In the end, Conner managed to get the ball and kicked it into the net. Once the ball hit the net, everything turned black and white. All four Rangers looked around in surprise and shock.

"Dr O, your thoughts on this?" Kira asked.

"No clue," answered Tommy as Ethan and Conner ran over to join them.

"This is crazy," Conner said as he looked around.

"What's happening?"

"Hang on guys," Tommy told them as he walked over and entire another panel becoming one dimensional.

"Wow, check that out," Ethan breathed as Conner and Kira joined Tommy.

"Ok, any guesses on were we are?" Conner asked.

"I'm thinking alternate dimension," Kira answered.

"I'm thinking Comic book dimension," informed Ethan as he poked Kira, "this is awesome."

"My experiences with these kinda of places not so awesome," Tommy stated, "let's just be careful and keep our Eyes open."

"Oh, no problem there," Ethan started to say as Tommy, Conner, Kira, and him started to walk, "I don't want to miss a thing."

Reality!

Carson was turning the pages of the Comic he created in wonder.

"Cool Characters," he breathed.

Comic!

"Ok, Ethan, your the Comic book expert," Conner told him, "what do we do now?"

"Dude, I just ready them," Ethan answered, "going inside them is a whole new thing."

The four Rangers how ever were surprised by a monster.

"I am Fridgia," the Monster told them, "who are you?" The Rangers didn't say a word, but lined up ready to fight. "How dare you invade my kingdom! Intruders must be destroyed!"

"Please tell me that some one brought a really big eraser?" Kira asked.

"Leave this place!" Fridgia ordered before she blasted at them.

The blast sent the Rangers to the ground while she laughed at them.

"I hope we can get our morph on in this place," Ethan said as they stood up.

"Ready?" Conner asked as he raised his wrist.

"Ready," the other three answered as they followed his lead.

"Dino Thunder! Power Up! Ha!" the four Rangers quickly morphed. "Dino Power!"

"You dare challenge me with your colorful constums?" Fridgia asked.

"Come on!"

The Rangers and Fridgia charged in and meet in hand and hand combat, but the female monster was proving to be stronger then the Rangers combined.

"Here's what really power feels like," Fridgia stated before she knocked the Rangers to the ground.

"Lasers!"

"Fire!"

Fridgia walked towards the Rangers as they fired their Thundermax blasters at her, but it didn't do a thing to her.

"You can't destroy me," the she monster told them as they got up.

"Tricera Shield!"

The Rangers all jumped at her with their main weapons, but she just threw them to the side like it was nothing.

"Brachio Staff! Energy Orb!"

Tommy made a circle with his arm before throwing it forward as the energy made orb shot at Fridgia, but she just sent it right back at them. The four Rangers where all sent to the ground hard as it started to snow.

"Is it snowing?" Conner asked.

"How can it be?"

"It's her world, she makes the rules," Ethan told them as he stood up.

"Time to break a few!" Tommy informed them as they stood up.

Fridgia fired at them again which for what seemed like the hundredth time sent them to the ground.

Reality-Hayley's Cyberspace!

"Here you go," Hayley told a costumer as she hand him a glass just as Carson walked into the cafe. "You look like you could use a pick me up."
"I've been up all night drawing," Carson told her as she handed him a cup of coffee, "I guess it shows."

Just then Trent who was carrying a tray and Jessica who was holding an order pad walked up to them.

"Carson, what's up?" Trent asked once he put the tray down.

"Just who I stopped by to see," Carson said once he cup of coffee was put down. Jessica who by that time had walked around the counter to make the orders she got, looked up to see Carson reached into his briefcase and pulled out his new comic. "Advance copy of my new comic." He handed it to Trent who took it. "I would like you check it out before it hit the stands."

Trent was looking at the comic in awe.

"Your kidding?"

"No," Carson answered with a smile, "I finished it last night." Jessica's eyes narrowed as Trent looked at him. "I can't believe how fast I wrote it. I was drawing like I was possessed or something."

"This is great," Trent told him as Jessica looked at the comic from she was able to with narrow eyes. "Thanks."

"I hope you like it," Carson told him, "I got to get it to my publisher." Carson grabbed his briefcase form the counter. "Bye."

"See ya," Trent said as he watched Carson leave with a smile just as Jessica and Hayley came around the counter before Trent opened the comic book, but he smile vanished. "That's weird."

"What is it?" Hayley asked.

Trent turned another page as Jessica and Hayley went to look at the comic as well.

"Look," he told them.

Jessica leaned her head a bit closer to see what the problem was though she was had a bad feeling from the start.

Comic!

Fridgia once again attacked the Rangers and sent them to the ground.

"You'll regret entering my frozen Kingdom!"

"Like we have a choice," Tommy said as he stood up, "this is getting old. Trent, Jessica, we need your help!"

Reality-Hayley's Cyberspace!

"'Trent, Jessica, we need your help'?" Trent read in shock and confusion, "how?" Trent looked at Hayley confused. "You don't think their really in here?"

He looked back at the comic.

"Keep looking," Hayley told him.

Trent did just that and turned tot he front page.

"Look at this?" Trent asked once he flipped the page, "it's got Conner, Kira, and Ethan."

"Tommy's in there to," Hayley agreed as she looked at it, "you didn't say anything to Carson did you?"

"No," Trent answered before the two of them looked at Jessica.

"Don't look at me," she told them, "I was busy waiting tables and as I told Trent, yesterday, I'm a Manga geek which means I don't read comics."

"See how it ends?" Hayley asked.

"I'm not sure I want to," Trent answered, but he still turned to the last page.

"Trent, what happens?" Hayley asked when Trent closed the book and both he and Jessica looked horrified.

"The Power Rangers don't survive," he answered, "there's got to be an explanation for this." He looked at Hayley. "I mean, how come, Jessica and I aren't written in here?"

"Maybe it's some wrapped plan to have you both see the others destroyed first," Hayley answered as best as she could while Trent the comic book before he walked towards the door with Jessica right behind him. "Where are you two going?"

"I've got to go find Carson," Trent answered her.

"And I'm going with him," Jessica said over her shoulder.

Comic!

Tommy took that chance to charge in at the female monster.

"Fool," she said before blasting him though he was able to hit her.

"Do you think it's Triassic Time?" Ethan asked.

"I can't," Conner answered, "not with out Jessica. The shield needs energy from her as well to work."

Ethan growled as they were sent to the ground again by Fridgia.

Reality-Reefside Park!

"Carson!" Trent called out as he and Jessica caught sight of him and ran up. "Wait up!"

"Hey, Trent," Carson greeted as he came to a stop and looked to see the White and Green Rangers. "What's going on?"

"You tell me?" Trent asked as he hand the comic back to Carson, "what's the deal with this comic?"

"I don't know what you mean?" Carson asked, "I told you that I finished it last night."

"Why do the Rangers lose at the End?" Jessica asked from beside Trent.

"To tell you the truth, I don't remember drawing half of it," Carson answered, "it's just a blare."

"You said that you felt like your where possessed or something," Trent said.

"Well, yeah," Carson agreed as he pulled out a pen, "I got this new pen and the ideas just started to flow out of me."

"You can't get that comic published," Trent told him.

"You crazy?" Carson asked, "this is the best work, I've done in years. No one's going to stop my from publishing it."

"Mind stepping back a minute?" Trent asked making Jessica to look at him.

"Trent, your not thinking about..." started Jessica before she trailed off.

Trent looked at the Green Ranger for a moment before looking back at Carson.

"It's the only way, Jess," Trent told her.

Carson looked at them confused.

"Ok," he agreed as he did so.

Trent looked around to make sure that no one else was around before raising his wrist where his morpher appeared.

"White Ranger! Dino Power!"

"Is this some sort of trick?" Carson asked when Trent stood in front of him as the White Ranger.

"No," answered Trent, "I thought that this was the only way you'll listen to me."

"Whoa, and you were jealous of my job," Carson breathed before he looked at Jessica who looked like she'd see it a million times, "your not a Ranger, too? Are you?

Letting out a sigh, Jessica looked around as well before she raised her wrist just as her morpher appeared.

"Dino Thunder! Power Up! Ha!" In a series of lights and flips, Jessica stood before them in her own Ranger form. "Para Power! Green Ranger!"

"Listen we don't have much time," Trent told him, "some how the other Rangers got trapped inside your comic book. I've got to get them out."

"Whatever I can do to help," Carson told him, "what do you need?"

"Give me the pen?" Trent asked as he took both the pen and comic, "I think I know how to change to ending of your story." Trent sat down one of the walls drawing in himself and Jessica in the comic. "There."

Jessica moved to stand next to Trent to see what he did as he sat the pen, it was then that they where pulled into the comic. Carson stared widen for a bit before walking over and picking up the comic to read.
Comic!

Fridgia knocked Conner away from her and to the ground where the other three regrouped with him.

"Conner!"

"Now time to banish you forever," Fridgia said as she walked forward towards them while Conner stood up. "Goodbye Rangers. This is your finally chapter." She then looked to the side just in time to see Trent and Jessica before kicked her back. "What?"

"This stories not over yet," said Trent as he stood up while Jessica landed beside him before kicking Fridgia again.

"Trent, Jessica!" Conner and Tommy called as the four of them ran up to the two Rangers that had joined them.

"Ready guys?"

"Yeah."

"Super Dino Mode!"

The lines on their suites became more pronounced.

"Tyranno Power, Red Ranger!"

"Tricera Power, Blue Ranger!"

"Ptera Power, Yellow Ranger!"

"Para Power, Green Ranger!"

"Brachio Power, Black Ranger!"

"Drago Power, White Ranger!"

Together, the Rangers ran at Fridgia and attacked her together before each took a turn with their attacks.

"Full Power!" Trent called as he slashed at her and sent her into a tree.

"Use your Dino Gems," Conner told them.

The Dino Symbol on their chest started to glow.

"It's working," Trent informed them, "my energy is growing."

"What is this?" Fridgia asked as she stood up before the Rangers then fired the energy that they had gathered at her. "I'm melting!"

As she exploded, the Rangers turned around and posed.

"We did it," Trent stated.

Reality-Reefside Park!

"A much better ending," Carson said as he read the comic through while last page then glowed allowing the Rangers to reappear in the real world while he stood. "Excuse me while I geek out." Jessica smirked under her helmet. "This is to much."

"Thanks for all your help," Tommy thanked.

"No problem," Carson said with a smile.

Jessica was the first to notice the monster walking towards them.

"Guys, we've got company," she warned them.

"You can't escape from me that easily," Fridgia told them as she stumbled to a stop as the Rangers got in a line.

"Whoa," Trent breathed before he turned to Carson, "looks like we've got another chapter."

"Yeah," Carson agreed looking nervous, "I'll just let you handle this."

Trent turned back around when Carson ran off to get away from the line of fire.

"No body, invited you here," Kira told Fridgia.

"No matter," she stated, "I'll rule this land as my new kingdom."

"Are you through?" asked Conner, "cause I am. Shield of Triumph!"

Jessica, Ethan, and Kira ran up to Conner while Tommy and Trent got out of the way.

"Triassic Power!"

The three Rangers sent their energy into the shield allowing Conner's suite to change.

"Battlizer Engage!" Conner's suite once again changed. "Super Fire Power!"

The Rangers watched from they where standing as Conner fought Fridgia with ease before destroying her. They then ran over to Conner with smiles under their helmets before congratulating the Red Ranger when Carson joined them.

"That was amazing," he told them with a smile.

"The pen?" Trent asked as he took it, "do you mind?"

"I insist," Carson agreed with a nod.

Trent turned around while looking at the pen before he threw it up in the air.

"Got to go," he said before firing a blast of energy from his Drago Sword.

Two Weeks Later-Hayley's Cyberspace!

"I can't believe that you wanted to collaborate on a comic with me," Trent said as he said an autograph for a new comic by both him and Carson called Drawn into Danger. "This has been so incredible."

"I figured who knew superheroes more then you," Carson said making Trent to look at him, "I mean, because you draw them so well."

"Thanks."

"Seriously Trent, I think that you have real talent," Carson told him.

"And your publisher was cool with you writing with an unknown artiest?" asked the White Ranger.

"Not exactly," Carson answered, "we had to find someone else to fund it. Someone named Anton Mercer." Trent looked at him in surprise. "I think his name was. The Bank rolled the whole thing, seems like a nice guy."

Jessica walked over to them with a smile as she sat down their drinks before walking away just as Cassidy and Devin walked into the cafe. She went back to the counter and only looked up to see Devin pull Cassidy out the door complaining.
