Damon Illea, the second and youngest son of Gregory Illea is devastated after his only brother died; the people are only just becoming accustomed to the caste system and need something to unite them. Thus The Selection was born. 35 girls from every caste are chosen to take part of the Selection and try for Illea, and the future Kings heart.

Hi all, wow so where do I begin? Uh I have no excuse. It's been over half a year since I've updated and that is purely due to the fact that I have been lazy. I didn't update for a week, then two and that soon enough it was 2014 and I'd completely forgotten about the whole thing.

I got a little email from saying that someone had begun following the story, and that's when I remembered it, I re-read some of the chapters and I think I have a pretty good idea of where I want the story to go from here! Or at least how to get to The Elite.

So fear not dear readers! (Was that cheesy? I'm sorry I'm just trying to make things a little different) the story shall return (hopefully) in like 2 weeks because I'm going on holiday (yaaaaay) but I PROMISE (and you can call me out on this) to work on it over the next two weeks.
