The group returns to the roof of the tall building where they landed. Duncan was finished talking about the part he played in the abduction. After he finishes, the rest of the cast react to his anecdote with bewilderment (minus Chef and Chris), "YOU DID WHAT?!"

Bridgette: "I can't believe you would do something like this!"

Gwen: (disgusted) "Ugh! That is sick!"

DJ: (disappointed) "Dude, you really stepped in it this time."

Duncan hangs his head down in disappointment and shame.

Alejandro: "Congratulations. You've regained your track record in evil deeds."

Gwen: "What could've possessed you to do this?"

Chris: "Why do you need an answer to that question? This is, was, and always will be his nature. He probably did it just to get back at me for sending him to jail."

Duncan: "I did it because he got me out of jail."

Courtney: "And let me guess—you followed him around and did his chores as a way to return the favor."

Duncan: "No, bossy butt, that wasn't it."

Chef: "Then what was it? Huh?"

Duncan: "Because I was scared of him! If you all saw what he could do, you'd feel the same way. After he released me and the other prisoners, he walked up and said to me, 'I know why you're here. I know who put you there. That's why I wanted to find you. That's why I let myself get arrested, because we both share the same hatred for one person.'"

Zoey: "Whoa. Now that's scary."

Mike: "How'd he know which jail you were in?"

Eva: (huffs) "I doubt he is that scary."

Duncan: "Yes, he is, Eva. I saw that guy rip prison bars from concrete walls with his bare hands. I've seen him hurl a sedan 100 feet in the air, withstand a truck when it crashed into him, and wrapped a parking meter around two Mounties and a horse. The guy's a walking force of nature; a person of mass destruction… with a chain. A chain!"

Cameron: "If this person is as formidable as described, then we will need to be careful if we encounter him."

DJ, Brick: (scared) "'If?'"

Jo: "You guys are such babies. I doubt you all would last at least 3 seconds against this guy. Be safe to say that I am stronger, tougher, and by extension, meaner than all of you combined."

Eva: "If that's true, then why don't you go and find him and take him down yourself?!"

Jo was taken a little aback, with Eva not realizing she was bluffing.

Cameron: "The police did, and I'd have to suspect that the other residents did too."

Zoey: "So there was an angry mob."

Cameron: "That's right—and they did attack. They attacked him… but lost."

They all take a short pause; they close their eyes and lower their heads to grieve for the fallen.

Duncan: "Now you all know how dangerous this man is."

DJ: "We do."

Chris: "There is still something I'm wondering – why did he kidnap my family?"

Duncan: "Because he hates you."

Jo: (Laughs) "Don't we all?"

Chris looks at her crossly after that remark.

Duncan: "No, I mean he really really hates Chris. In fact, he hates him so much, that he said that he wanted him dead."

Chris appears scared after hearing that threat. "What?!" he said terribly.

Courtney, Gwen, Noah, Heather, Jo, Alejandro, and Eva let out satisfying "Hmm"s with facial expressions to match.

Jo: "Someone wants Chris McLean dead? Why didn't you say that before? I'm actually starting to like this guy."

Chris: (appalled) "Hey! You do know I'm standing right next to you, right? Look, I don't care! We need to find my family, take down the captors, rescue them, get a medal of honor, and I can get back to doing production of another season of 'Total Drama.'"

Gwen: "Question: Where are they, exactly?"

Cameron: "We just need to follow the footprints of the man responsible for the abduction."

Cody: "So what you're saying is that if we find him, we'll find Chris' family."

DJ: "Again 'if'? Didn't you hear the story he told us? We find him, were gonna get pummeled, like everyone else that got in his way."

Brick: "Consider this as an obligation… and a sacrifice. We find and save his family members, take down the escapees; even if some us don't survive, we'll be rewarded as heroes."

Jo: "That's crazy, Colonel Crap."

Chris: "So? Better you than me. But don't worry – I will be forever grateful for your sacrifices… (Softly) as if."

Jo: (sarcastically) "Oh. That's great. I didn't think you had a heart."

Chris: "Thanks. Now focus! I need you all to find my family pronto!"

Zoey: "But Toronto is a big city. They could've taken them anywhere."

Cameron: "Not anywhere. The prints appeared to be heading in one specific direction; one place that is large enough to house himself, his comrades, and the hostages all together."

Chris: "And where exactly would that be?"

Cameron/Duncan: (turns towards the Canadian national monument) "The CN Tower."

Everyone else looks.

Chris: (now realizing) "Of course."
