Chris: "I can't believe it. I can't believe that this Cormack – or whatever his name is – is holding my family hostage inside the 7th wonder of the world."
Cameron: "Actually, the 7th wonder of the modern—"
Chris: "And you knew about this all along and didn't tell us before until now?!"
Duncan: "He planned this weeks before the abduction."
Chris: "But he needed you to pull this off."
Zoey: "Well, we know where their hiding."
Mike: "And where they're keeping the McLean's in custody. So how are we gonna get to them?"
Lightning: "We'll use the elevator – duh."
Courtney: "Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Don't forget about 'muscles', guys or the cons with guns. If we go up there – nay – in there, we'll be dead as soon as we open the door."
Jo scoffs, "What are you saying?"
Courtney: "I'm saying that we have to think rationally. We need a plan that doesn't involve us running blind."
Chris impatiently says, "I don't care what you come up with, just figure out a plan."
Courtney: "All right, all right. Okay, everyone—huddle up."
Lightning: "Can't resist a good huddle."
The contestants huddle up in a circle to discuss the plan.
The sun rises. It is morning; the next day. There are two inmates, holding rifles, guarding the entrance of the CN tower. One of the prisoners says to the other, "I'm going to go to the café to make myself some bacon and eggs. Want me to make you something?" The other prisoner responded, "Make me some grits." "You got it." The first one replied back. He leaves his post and walks a few blocks to the café, unaware that he was being watched.
He finally arrives at the café. He opens the door to go in and paces to the kitchen to cook something. As he reaches to grab a spatula, he his hit in the back of the head by a frying pan and is knocked down, unconscious.
The other man, still guarding the entrance, is waiting for his comrade when he feels pain in his foot. He lifts his foot up and realizes that it was struck by an arrow. He looks up at the buildings around him to see who shot him. He grabs a walkie-talkie attached to his prison jumpsuit and alerts the others. "This is Ground Patrol calling. My partner is gone and I just got shot in the foot. I don't know who. This is a sneak attack – I repeat, a…" An arrow shoots the walkie-talkie out of the prisoner's hands and gets punched from behind by Eva and is knocked out cold.
Up at the main pod, Frido is speaking through his walkie-talkie trying to get a response, but to no avail. Then he remembers the part about a "sneak attack"; he switches transceivers to warn the others.
"Someone is attempting to reach the top of the tower. I don't know who, I don't know why, but we can't let them get to the elevators. Is that clear?"
"We're a little busy right now. Over." Responded a voice on the other line. Frido also hears sounds of gunshots, along with various yells and shouts, as background noise, realizing the man from the other end was too busy to turn his two-way radio off. There is silence on the other end and the hook-hand killer starts to get apprehensive. He then hears random voices:
"Well, so much for the guards. Where do we have to go?"
"Cam said that we have to go up to the main pod, at the lookout level."
"Well then, what are we waiting for?"
Realizing that someone's coming up, Frido calls out to the other convicts on the same floor as he is that they got intruders. Mickey and the others grab their guns, run to the elevator and aim. As they cock their pistols, a shot is fired and the crew cut prisoner drops dead… then another and the eye patched one fall too. They start to panic a little, but Mickey, Frido, and four of the other jailbirds shake it off. Frido orders the other two to go to the emergency exit. The elevator doors open and they see no one there. Confused but unconvinced, Mickey walks inside the elevator and gets sucker punched. Eva steps out from the side with arms crossed and an intimidating scowl. Frido commands the two behind him "Shoot her!", but when he turns to them, they are laying on the ground, knocked out cold. Eva comes from behind and grabs him by his hand (the one that doesn't have a hook) and squeezes it. She threatens him, "If you want to keep the hand you have left, I'm gonna ask you one question and you are going to answer it; where… are… the McLeans?"
