A few hours later, the rest of the McLeans are unbound and ungagged, with the prisoners in the same position as they were on the Edge Walk. The TD cast (sans Chris and Chef) are here and are being thanked individually by each member of the McLeans. As they're being thanked, they suddenly hear a scream and feel a thundering stomp. They start panicking, since they know the trouble hasn't passed. A deep, reverberating voice says "Congrats" and everybody turns to see who said that. When they do, they let out gasps of shock—it was Cormack!
He says to the contestants earnestly, but underhandedly, "Well, well, well, well. I never would have guessed you'd all get up here alive and take out my comrades without any trouble. That was… quite astonishing… to say the least. But do any of you have what it takes to take me down?"
Jo says, "I do."
Duncan tells her to reconsider. Worriedly, he says, "Jo, that's not a good idea. Didn't you remember the stories?"
Jo ignores him. "Oh please. They're probably not even true." (She charges at him) "Besides, like I said before, you're looking at the strongest, toughest player in the history of…"
Cormack swings his arm and whacks Jo with enough force to send her flying into the glass window that cracked and then falls on the floor. They look at the female jock's fallen body and are completely scared.
Lightning: (timid, high-pitched whining) Sha-mommy.
Except for Cormack, who merely pronounces, "I guess not." He grabs his chain and unwraps it from himself. He whips his chain to smack everyone near who was standing, specifically the Total Drama group. He then walks to the McLean family group, intimidating them with his imposing frame.
"I should have known that those fools behind bars wouldn't – or couldn't – do the job. Oh well. It seems that if you want something done right, you do it yourself."
"I agree!" said a very recognizable voice: it's Chris McLean flying with his jetpack through the glass window, head-butting Cormack with enough momentum that he pushes him back to the other side of the wall. He triumphantly lands in front of his family.
One of his family members says, "Chris! I can't believe you came… to save us."
Chris: (egotistically) Of course I did. Did you think I would leave you and let you all die in the hands of mass-murderers… and/or whoever that guy was?"
They all shoot back at Chris with a slightly incensed "YES!"
Chris, hurt, says to his family, "Wrong. There is no way I would never let you all get killed. I don't know what would happen if it did happen and I didn't. I love you all more than a million-billion dollars. You are all my grand prizes. We're the McLeans. We're… family." Everyone was shocked, better yet touched, that Chris had ever said something, or anything, that even remotely meant regard for someone's wellbeing.
Just then, a giant hand grabbed Chris by the neck. Everybody gasped when they saw Cormack lifting the host. Cormack said to him, "How sweet." Before throwing him out the very same window he crashed through. He screams and falls, until he remembered that he still had his jetpack on. He activates it and starts flying upward. His relatives were very relieved and cheered, but this just incited Cormack's anger. He grabs his chain and use it to wrap around one of Chris' legs. He pulls and pulls and Chris tries to escape by using his jetpack to pull himself back, but he is no match for the Muscleman's strength. When Chris is close enough to Cormack, he uses his jetpack's flames to blind and disorient him, as well as let go of his chain. Chris flies backwards outside as soon as Cormack recovers; the big, bald, brute is enraged even more.
Cormack: (Infuriated) "Get back here, Christian, so I can crush your head like a grape!"
Chris: (smiling) "A lot of people say that, except for the 'crushing my head like a grape' part. If you want me, then why don't you come get me? Unless, of course, you can fly."
As Chris flies upward, Cormack jumps through the ceiling of the main pod and lands on top of it. He sees Chris flying towards the tower's Sky Pod. He digs his fingers into the building structure that connects the main pod with the Sky Pod and starts climbing and jumping up vertically to get to him even faster.
Back in the main pod, the TD cast regain consciousness. They asked what they missed. They state that Cormack is going to kill Chris.
Jo: (elated) "If this 'Cormack' person is going to kill Chris, why didn't you wake us up sooner?!"
The McLeans: "What?!"
Gwen: "You don't know what he did to us. I don't think you all watch his show."
Lightning: "Yeah! That pretty boy's gotta pay!"
Hudson: "We know. But we also know that Chris is still a human being."
Heather: "Still?"
Alejandro: "I don't know why you people care about him. He's the most callous, self-centered man to ever walk the face of the earth."
Hudson: "He may be those things and more, but he cares about his family… just like we care about him."
Chris finally arrives atop the tower's Sky Pod. He lands and takes a look around; "Huh. I knew he couldn't follow me. I guess he can't fly after all." Suddenly, Chris felt a short tremor so strong that he lost his balance. There were a few more; each one stronger than the last. Right across the Sky Pod from where Chris is positioned, an oversized hand reaches up that grabs the Sky Pod's edge; Cormack was pulling himself up. After he jumps on the roof, the hulking, hairless titan with a chain starts slowly, but menacingly, walking to where Chris is standing. Chris starts to shudder in fear with every step the colossus makes, but he manages to keep a straight face.
Cormack: "I am so glad you arrived, McLean. I didn't think you'd come."
Chris: "You're just lucky I had some free time in my schedule."
Cormack: "It's always about you isn't it? Always having things that you want, in the time when you wanted; not even caring about the people around you—their wants, their needs, their feelings, their loyalty; you just brush them aside like they're your dogs."
Chris: "That's so not true. You don't know me – or anything about me – at all!"
Cormack: "Oh, that's not true. The reason I arranged this hostage situation was to get back at you for what you did to me during high school."
Chris: (confused) "What do you mean 'high school'?"
Cormack: "All the times you embarrassed me, humiliated me! Every prank, joke, rumor, and insult that has ever involved me, I remember! You picked on me because you liked it; because you loved seeing weak and unpopular students suffer. You loved it then, you love doing it now to the people that work for you. You haven't changed a bit, Christian, not since you graduated—but I have."
Chris: "Wait a second…"
Chris contemplated the clues to Cormack's lecture, then looked at his face—closely, to see if he resembled anyone he knew. He is thunderstruck when he finally found one.
Chris: "Willy?"
'Willy'Cormack: "Yes. That's right. 'Willy'."
Chris: "No. no! This can't be. This just… can't… be."
'Willy' Cormack: "Oh, but it is."
Chris: "I-I-I-I-I-I can't believe it's really you—you! You certainly bulked up. I actually missed you when you were called 'Wire-armed Willy' (chuckles)"
Enraged, Cormack breaks off a chunk of the Sky Pod's roof and lobs it at the host. Chris leaps to the side and dodges it at the last minute.
'Willy' Cormack: "Enough! I am sick and tired of being called that name. I didn't like it then and I don't like it now!"
Chris: "All right, all right. (Under breath) Some people just can't take a joke. (Aloud) Let's get down to the brass tacks, like why did you take my family members?"
'Willy' Cormack: "What else? Payback. I wanted to take something from you; something that you couldn't live without; something that you couldn't risk worth losing; but, more importantly, something—or someone—that was irreplaceable."
Chris: "So you took my cousins, aunts, uncles—basically everyone from my family reunion, took them to the CN Tower where you and your lackeys turned it into a lookout point, fortress and a prison, make me call and let me use the contestants as scapegoats; and finally, when you knocked them down, you were going to kill them — unless I came up top to stop you. Is that right?"
'Willy' Cormack: "Not exactly. I wasn't interested in killing your family, I was interested in killing you."
Chris: (scoffs) "Yeah, right. I have to break it to ya, pal, but today is not my day to die."
'Willy' Cormack: "Is it?"
Cormack then charges at Chris, getting ready to tear him limb from limb. As soon as he gets close enough, Chris turns on his jetpack, flies behind him, and kicks him on the back of his head. The force was enough to make him fall, but he manages to grab onto the pod's ledge. Chris hovers above him and chides the brute hanging on for dear life.
Chris: "Let this be a lesson to you – you mess with my family, you mess with me."
He kicks Cormack in the face and he suddenly lets go, falling from 1000+ feet to the ground below. He screams as he's falling, amidst that he was also shouting "NOOO!" languishing his failure. There is a loud thud when he finally lands. As the dust clears, he is laying in a huge crater that's 3 times as big in diameter as it was deep. Everyone from the main pod look out to see the muscleman lying in his crater.
