It's near the afternoon; Chris, Chef Hatchet, and Chris' family members are standing right at the entrance of the CN Tower. SWAT teams and various police forces cuff the prisoners and cram them in their cruisers and armored vans; Cormack is airlifted by four helicopters with hooks wrapped around each of his limbs. Reporters arrive with cameras, notepads, and microphones to deliberate on the events that happened today.

Reporter #1: "Chris! Chris! Chris, how did you feel when you saw the man aliased as Cormack…"

Reporter #2: "What did you do to undertake this rescue? Who helped save your family?"

Reporter #3: "Were you scared, terrified, or petrified when…"

Reporter #4: "Can we expect another season of 'Total Drama'?"

Chris: (Feeling crowded and being bombarded with too many questions, he clears his throat and gestures the journalists to back off so he can have some space) "Calm down, calm down. One at a time." (They move back, but continue to pester him with questions) "Look, all I have to say is that today—today… I felt something that—that I never ever felt before. I don't know how to explain it; when my relatives were taken from me one by one before my eyes, I felt… worried." (The reporters quiet down and listen) "I felt that I lost a piece—no, pieces—of myself that I wanted to get back. That I…"

As Chris is continuing his oration, the kids from Total Drama are hanging out at the side of the CN Tower, watching the host's interview from afar.

Jo: "You all believe he means all that stuff he's saying?"

Eva: "What kinds of 'stuff'?"

Jo: "That he missed his family, that he's grateful that they're alive, that he would thank us for rescuing them."

Courtney: "I seriously doubt that… or any of it, for that matter."

Back to Chris' interview.

Chris: "…and I just want to say that this wouldn't be possible – and that none of them would be alive, safe and sound – without me."

The kids overheard that self-absorbing notion and became offended.

Total Drama cast: (infuriated groans)

Heather: "I knew he would say that!"

Eva: "I wish that big bruiser would've just killed that stubbled, slick-haired sadist!"

Cameron: "But he didn't. At least… not yet."

Mike: "'Not yet'? What do you mean 'not yet'?"

Cameron: Chris needed to lure that man away from his family by becoming the bait; once they were far enough away, he realized that that was his chance to attack Chris where no one was watching. But as we all know, Chris managed to not take his threat seriously. However, in a surprising turn of events, Chris used this harrowing situation to his advantage by goading the assailant and leading him to a trap—a trap that only he knew."

Alejandro: "Chris McLean, you sneaky snake in the grass."

Heather: (to Alejandro) "Look who's talking."

Zoey: "So, what are you saying, Cam?"

Cameron: "I'm saying that whoever Cormack is, he will not stop until Chris is dead… or worse. I have a feeling that when — or the better part if— he comes back, let's just say that Chris won't be so lucky this time. He'll learn from his mistakes. He'll figure out a plan. He'll find a way out. It is only a matter of time."

Inside a maximum security prison, two guards stand on high alert in front of a large, bolted, black door; behind it, we see Cormack in a big, wide room with a single small window and a lamp; hands, feet, and waist wrapped around in multiple manacles attached to chains, which are attached to the walls and ceilings. He is wearing a black respirator mask on his face; it is designed to release a kind of sleeping gas every ten minutes that Cormack breathes in to put him to sleep. He then hears punches, grunting, then bodies falling to the floor. After seconds of silence, there is a loud, but muffled, boom and the door collapses inside the room. Cormack slowly and tiredly looks up at the opening to see what happened. Soon about half a dozen men enter Cormack's cubicle; wearing red and grey armored uniforms, leather, steel-plated black gloves and boots, faceless grey masks with oval visors, and carrying automatic and assault rifles. One of them looks around and gestures someone to come in. A man (mid 60s, triangular facial features, a long, pointed nose like an eagle's beak, medium height, skinny, but broad frame, and long, spiky white hair pointed diagonally up), wearing a white lab coat, brown pants, dark brown oxford shoes, and a monocle over his left eye. He greets Cormack in a soft, smooth voice with a mid-Atlantic accent.

The 'man': "Hello, William. It's nice to see you."

Cormack groggily responds, "What-what did you call me?"

The 'man': (Sincerely) "That is your name, isn't it?"

Cormack: "Not anymore." (Beat) "Who are you and how do you know my name? My real name?"

The 'man': "You don't know anything about me, but I know everything about you."

Cormack: (aghast) "Everything?"

The 'man': "Yes. Ever since the accident that turned you into… (gestures Cormack's whole body) …this."

Cormack: (chuckles softly) "I doubt you came here to interview me on my life story. So tell me… (Portentously) …why are you really here?"

The 'man': "I'm here to offer you a job at my… establishment. I've been looking for someone with your attributes that would fit perfectly for our line of work."

Cormack: (bluntly) "No thanks! How do you think I ended up like this? I have been very unsuccessful in getting other types of employment after my… accident. So get out of here! This is why I'm in 'solitary confinement'."

The 'man': (sighs dejectedly) "Oh well. That's truly a shame. (Turns around) I had such big plans for you. (Pulls out a marble-sized silver-colored ball from inside his coat and rolls it between his fingers) I guess we just performed this break in breakout all for naught."

The 'man' walks to the opening and flings the ball behind him. It rolls until it stops right under Cormack's chin. It explodes; it was a gas bomb. The entire room fills with gas in a matter of seconds. Cormack starts to feel strange. He notices that his arms are shrinking and getting thinner. He starts to panic and shakes fiercely around, but his shackles are restraining his movement. He calls out to the man.

Cormack: (fearfully) "What's happening?! WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME?!"

The 'man': (stops and turns around with a devious look) "You're becoming normal."

Cormack: (even more apprehensively and horrified) "WHAT!?"

Cormack now feels agonizing pain; as this is happening, his body starts to lose a large amount of muscle mass and his whole entire body shrinks down until it is thin, small, (I estimate he's 170 cm tall) and malnourished; his face is also slender now. He's now so skinny, that he easily slips off of his manacles; but he's also so weak, that he falls on the floor immediately. He starts to groan in a raspy (2 octaves higher) voice, as if he's still feeling the pain and it never left his body. The 'man' walks up to him and stops to see his frail frame.

Cormack: (weakly) "What-what did you do to me?"

The 'man': "I created an antidote that would neutralize the radioactivity and residual toxins in your cells… temporarily, of course. Since your skin was too dense to get it injected, I had a few friends of mine convert it into a gaseous state and then compress it into a little, tiny ball. Pretty clever, huh?"

Cormack: (enraged, shakily) "You-You-you MONSTER! I actually liked my bigger, beefier body than my old one!"

The 'man': "Don't worry. The antidote will last for about 18 hours. (Looks at his wristwatch) So you have until 4:38 a.m. tomorrow to think about my decision."

Cormack: "Forget it!"

The 'man': "Oh, come on, now. Don't you want to get revenge on the people who wronged you? To beat the life out of them until they don't have any more? I can help you do that. So, what do you say?"

Cormack: (mulling over the proposal) "Oh, fine. Seeing as this is going be the end of me."

The 'man': "Believe me, William—this is not the end, this is only the beginning."

I do not own the "Total Drama" series, it's characters, cast or it's properties; I just love the show!
