Hello guys her is a little slightly emotional fic... I do not own divergent or its characters so yeah enjoy... Also please review.

"No you're not." He had said to her. "And I would only go to your funeral if there was cake."

What a stupid thing to say, especially now that, that, that was where he was now. At least if you could call this a funeral. It was only a few people Christina, Caleb (the traitor who had the nerve to call himself her brother), Zeke and his mom, Peter (who had now idea who Tris was, and what he had ever done to her), his mother who Tris had never liked and then there was me. He looked down at his hands not wanting to see everyone else's faces. Instead he pictured hers in his mind.

Her smile the way it spread across her face bringing with it the joy and self-satisfaction that Abnegation had so long denied her. The way her blue eye's sparkled with excitement during her training when ever she had accomplished something. The way her hair a mix of gold and sun darkened with a few strands of brown, the way she had braided it back when it was long and the way it stuck out after she had cut it all off. The way that despite her obstacles she overcame them ever if they seemed impossible.

And most of all the way she embodied all factions, the way she was truly Divergent.

She had been Kind… Had it been the abnegation in her? Or perhaps something more? Something that gave her an enormous amounts of compassion that despite her standoffish attitude that everyone who wasn't her, or one the other end of her gun could see.

She had been Wise… well most of the time he added as an after thought. But when it came to making up plans on the spot, Saving me when he was trapped under the Serum, even working with my dad to make sure that whatever secret had been kept from us was known. Even if it meant risking that he wound see it as a treacherous act against the Insurgent.

She had been Honest… maybe not as honest with other people but she was honest to herself. She never one fooled herself into thinking that she was too weak or small to do the right thing. Even though it meant losing her friendship with Christina she confessed to being the murderer of Will, even when she had the option to keep it hidden.

She had been Selfless… at first it was an expected trait, but then it began to manifest itself to that if became the drive behind her every move. Saving him, going to Erudite and sacrificing herself to stop David.

She had been Brave… while selflessness was the drive behind her, her bravery was what kept her going, what made it possible to accomplish those tasks.

She had been Divergent… She had been a true embodiment of all valued traits. She had used them together not for her own gain but for that of others and for a future, even if it was one she would not be apart of.

Hoping that somehow, somewhere she could here me he whispered six words under his breath.

"Be brave Tris, I love you."
