Swords clashed together. One wielder was smiling madly whilst the other was looking serious and stoic. Both pressed their swords together as they battle of strength. Their swords slid and they jumped back.
The one who was smiling suddenly laughed in madness. "Blood! Give me more blood! Let me taste it! More of your filthy blood!" The voice was high indicating it was a girl. "Let me see the pain expression of yours! Let me see or else you'll never see your sister!" The latter eyes widen. The mad girl laughed harder.
"Zika, are you okay?" Zack looked at Zika worriedly. Zika nodded her head. "No, you're not. What's wrong, sis?" Karasu bend down to her level and tilted her head to his face. Zack and Karasu's eyes widen as their face crunch in worry.
"Zika, why do you have huge eye bag?" Zack hurriedly fix the long couch, where Zika was currently seated, into a bed. Karasu push her down but Zika stop him.
"I'm fine. Just have a weird dream..." Zika mumbled. Artemis suddenly pop at her back and gave her a bear hug. "Morning, Zika! Ara...you're pale..." Artemis loses her cheerfulness and quickly went to Zika's front.
Artemis cup Zika's face and tilted it side to side. She then stop and punch and kick both boys. "WHAT DID YOU GUYS DO?!" She yelled. Ellie cowered at Zika's back as Zika just sighed.
Zika stood up and quietly walk out; leaving her three friends arguing. Ellie followed Zika out also quietly. Zika took a peek at her back and saw them still arguing.
Zika have a smile plastered in her face when her people wave at her. "Princess Zika!", "Good Morning!", "Have a nice day, Princess!" are the greetings she always heard. She giggled and she entered the cafe where she and Zack once had breakfast together. "Princess! Welcome back!" Sophie ran to Zika and hugs her motherly.
"Sophie-san!" Zika hug her back and Sophie released her. "What do you want today?" Sophie asked with her sweet smile. "Can I just sit today? The castle is on riot." Zika resit to roll her eyes. Sophie giggled. "Sure, sure. Please feel free at home." Sophie waved her goodbye and went back in to her kitchen.
Ellie rested herself into Zika's neck. "Dabu..." She said. Zika sighed and rested her head to the window. She looked and saw her castle. She could see crytsals flying everywhere and Zika smiled in amusement.
"SOPHIE! ONE EXTRA HARD COFFEE!" Zika and Ellie jumped high at the loudness of the new costumer's voice. They looked behind them and saw a fur hoodie with cat ears. The figure was a girl and her back and facing Zika.
"Welcome, Hamoni! And no need to shout!" The girl finally faced Zika. She has flowing straight bright pink hair with matching eyes. She was wearing a metal headphones and white shirt with a cartoon tiger printed in the middle. She was wearing tattered shorts and lastly shoes.
Hamoni's eyes widen. "Princess Zika?!" She yelled. Zika sheepishly waved her hands. Hamoni looked at Sophie and Sophie was smirking. Sophie took Hamoni's hands and guided her to Zika.
"Princess, this is Hamoni." Zika smiled at Hamoni and said girl froze. "Well, I'll leave you girls alone. I'll prepare Hamoni's coffee." Sophie walked back to her kitchen.
"Please seat, Hamoni-san." Zika said. She extends her hand to the opposite side of her and Hamoni nodded her head. She quietly sat.
Ellie flied to the girl. "Dabu Abu!" Hamoni snapped back to the life. "Cute! This flying snake is cute! You too, Princess! You're so cute!" Hamoni exclaimed. Zika just smiled.
"Well, I'll introduce myself. My name is Hamoni! It means harmony! I'm 17 years old and my magic is Melody and Sound magic! Call me anything but no formality!" Hamoni grinned and extended her hand.
Zika smiled more. She shook Hamoni's hand. "As you know, my name is Zika. Princess of Colore. I am currently 14 years old. I don't have particular magic but good at defensive moves."
Ellie flew to Zika. "And this is Ellie. Artemis-chan's partner."
"ARTEMIS?! THE CRYSTAL DRAGON SLAYER?! I'M A BIG FAN!" Hamoni stand up and jump up and down. Zika giggled. "I'll let you meet you her later."
"REALLY?! THANK YOU SO MUCH PRINCESS!" She took both of my hands and squeezed them but it wasn't that hard.
"Hai Hai...You're welcome." 'So much being her name means harmony...' Zika sweat dropped.
Hamoni finally settled down. "Anyway, what's the difference of Melody and Sound? Aren't they the same thing?" I asked. Ellie nestled herself into my neck again.
"Ah that... Many people ask the same thing already!" Hamoni giggled. "My Melody magic is about soft music. I can't make any loud or rough music. I couldn't really do it even the intense training I do. But my Melody magic is quite dangerous. I realize that when I was in danger. It's like poison. I emit a soft music that could put someone into internal sleep. Like the Lullaby magic." Hamoni smiled.
"'My'?" Zika asked. Hamoni nodded. "Other mages with Melody magic can do rough and hard music." Zika looked fascinated. "Like the Lullaby magic..."
"But I know the cure! My Sound Magic!" Zika raised her brow. "My Sound magic is the opposite. Usually Sound magic is a magic without making music. Just a plain one tone. Like for example a screeching sound of a microphone. To awaken who was cured by my Melody magic, I need to combine 3 tones into one using Sound magic but the tone bust heard like I only used one tone."
"So you're Sound magic can combine more than 1 tones?" Zika asked. Hamoni nodded her head. "Sound and Melody magic is rare thus mages with said magic is rare. Other than that, having the same ability as me is rare too." Hamoni explained.
"Wow..." Zika was astonished. She replayed the things Hamoni said to her and she slowly memorized them. "Amazing..." Zika was in awe. 'Do I have that kind of magic? I remembered using a music magic...' Zika thought.
"COFEE'S HERE!" Hamoni exclaimed in delight. Sophie placed down her coffee. Zika then realized something. "What's your relationship with Sophie-san, Hamoni?" Sophie smiled sweetly.
"Sophie was my first ever costumer and has been visiting my shop every day." Hamoni grinned. "And Sophie's coffees are the best!" She exclaimed. Zika smiled.
"Well, enjoy your girl bonding time." Sophie waved goodbye with a smile.
Hamoni took a sip of her coffee and sighed in satisfaction. She looked and smiled at Zika. "Want some?" She asked. "No thank you. I don't drink coffees." Hamoni shrugged her shoulders. "Suit yourself."
Hamoni's eyes then widen. "You have a brother, right? Because of a curse, you and him shared one body." She said excitedly.
"We didn't exactly share one body. We just switch back and forth of the dimension of counterparts." Hamoni stared at Zika. Eyebrows raised in curiosity.
"Our family has a dimension for counterparts. Karasu was born there but he carried the same blood as I am. We switch back and forth as Karasu please since he was the one that have magic to do so."
Zika smiled at the memories they have together as counterparts. "Quite troublesome since we have the opposite gender. It wasn't hard when we were still kids but as I grew older, it was getting harder. Changes started to appear but luckily Dad taught me a secret to not let Karasu know or feel my changes."
Hamoni whistled. "Hard...I feel ya, sister. Our changes are really hard but wait..." Hamini's eyes was widen as saucer. She quickly stood up with a red as flames blush.
"What about menstruation?" She whispered-shout. Zika tilted my head to the side. "Girls with counterparts on our family don't experience one." She grabs Zika's shoulders and Ellie quickly fly away.
"But you don't have on now. The curse was lifted, right?" Zika's eyes widen. She then turns into ghostly pale. Her mouth opens and she was frozen in place.
"Cha-change topic! Do you have a brother?" Zika stuttered. Hamoni sat back and crossed her arms. She then pouted and looked away.
"Yeah. 1 older brother and 2 younger brothers." Zika drop her jaw a little. "Wow..." Hamoni looked at her with annoyance in her eyes. "Aniki is a Water Dragon Slayer while my lil' bros haven't yet found their magic. Aniki...is stronger than me! He always beat up in one attack and I'm down! I always lose! Next time! Surely, next time! I'll beat him up!"
"Dragon Slayer?!" Zika exclaimed. Hamoni looked at her then her eyes widen in realization. "Oh yeah! But don't worry! He's our real brother! We found him after his dragon disappeared!" Zika stared at her and saw her smiling in happiness.
"Thank goodness. We found him..." Zika smiled. 'That's rare. Natsu-nii, Wendy and Artemis-chan haven't saw their parents or family. Artemis-chan, I know she ran away and she doesn't want to return to her room. Natsu-nii and Wendy has no recollection of their family members.' Zika thought deeply.
Hamoni then was angry. "I WILL BEAT ANIKI!" She yelled. Her coffee was luckily empty so nothing spilled.
"Oh really?" A cool and icy voice spoke up at my back. Hamoni looked at my back and her eyes widen. "Aniki..." Zika slowly turned back and saw silver hair and black eyes. He was wearing a fur coat too and black shirt. Black pants and shoes. He looked down and eyes widen.
"Princess!" He exclaimed. Zika waved. "That's my Aniki, Princess."
"I'm Reisui." He walked to my side and bowed down. "Heads up, Reisui-san." And he did. He stood up and I smiled at him.
"Princess, like I said. Aniki is a Water Dragon Slayer and he's 20 years old!" Hamoni introduced him.
"Well, Princess. We have to go. Hamoni needs to be home. NOW." Reisui glared at Hamoni. "And Princess, please. No formalities. Reisui is alright." I nodded my head.
"But!" Reisui gave her a pointed look. Hamoni pouted. She admit defeat but crouching down.
Reisui picked her by her hoodie and carried her like a sack of potatoes. "ANIKI!" Hamoni exclaimed. She blushed. Reisui bowed down. "We'll be going, Princess." Zika smiled. They walked out and I giggled.
'I met new friends...' Zika smiled happily. Then her eyes soften. 'And I saw my old friends.' Artemis, Karasu and Zack was running with worried expression.
"Zi-chan!"
"Zika!"
They yelled worriedly. I giggled. 'Yeah...My life sure is interesting.'
On the other side of Country of Rosso, someone grin maniacally. "We have a Princess, a Prince, a Knight and lastly a dragon. Now our characters are complete, let's lock the Princess in the tower."
