A/N: Hello Bicelians! Biceliers? Bicelyficators? Yeah, you! Here's the next chapter of this story, in which kind of OOC Adelaide finds out a thing, and Benny and Nicely have the world's shortest and dumbest lover's quarrel.

Happy tenth chapterversary to this story! (that's a thing) Yaaaaaay

Yeah, I wrote this in like two hours, so sorry if it kind of sucks. And if Adelaide is pretty much me.

Also, I have written three more Bicely oneshots that are not connected to TBANC, and I would really love it if you read/reviewed those too. Thank ya kindly.

Furthermore, thank you to everyone who has so faithfully read and reviewed this story. Your positive comments mean a lot to me, especially since I'm writing for a "fandom" as obscure as this one. I love you all, and rock on!

-The Great and Powerful BWR

Benny ambled quickly down the street, trying desperately, but failing, to keep the goofy smile off his face. He was extremely happy, of course; just like he was whenever he was coming home on a beautiful sunny day to his beloved Nicely. Southstreet was nearing their apartment when he noticed a familiar young lady walking towards him.

"Good afternoon, Miss Adelaide!" he said.

"Oh, hello, Benny," she replied, "It's been awhile, hasn't it?"

"Yes, it has."

"Well? How are you doing?"

"Oh, nicely, nicely. Yourself?" He replied, not noticing how he had picked up a habit from his boyfriend of nearly one year.

Adelaide smiled at Benny's response. "I'm very well, thank you."

They engaged in pointless conversation for a few minutes. Benny was rather eager to get home, but he didn't mind talking to Adelaide for a while. They hadn't seen each other for quite a long time, after all, and they had lots to catch up on.

Eventually, the dancer brought up a topic he had been hoping to avoid.

"So, how's Nicely doing with Roxanne?"

"Who? Oh, yes, her… Well, things didn't really work out between them, unfortunately…" Benny said quickly.

"Ah, well, that's too bad. I thought they really hit it off! So I suppose he hasn't been seein' anyone else since?"

Southstreet shook his head.

Adelaide frowned. "I wonder why? He's a good guy, and not too bad-looking…"

Benny resisted the urge to lecture Adelaide on how attractive Johnson actually was.

"And you!" she continued, "You used to see lots of dolls, why aren't you goin' on dates anymore?"

The gambler shrugged. "I guess we both gave up on dolls, Nicely and I."

That statement wasn't entirely false. In fact, it was rather true.

"Don't say that!" Adelaide said, "I'm sure you'll both find love someday!"

Benny smiled. "Yeah, someday."

"Oh, uh, Benny… I meant to tell you somethin'. Nathan told me… that, uh… that he saw you… with Nicely… and you two were…"

"Oh…" he said, blushing as he realised what she was talking about, "Yeah… uh, we were both really drunk, it wasn't…"

She nodded. "I understand. But I read somewhere that often, when you're drunk, you do things that you subconsciously want to do when you're sober, but you wouldn't do because you know you shouldn't."

Benny was confused. "What do you mean?"

She sighed. "I'm just saying that, although most people find it weird when two guys or two girls love each other, I think it's okay. Even if it ain't the usual way, with one guy and one girl, it's still love, and there's nothing wrong with love."

Benny started to become very uncomfortable, fearing that his secret had been revealed. "So you're suggestin' that Nicely and I…"

"I'm not suggesting anything. I'm just sayin' that, if you two were in a romantic relationship, I wouldn't think it was weird. That's all."

Benny shuffled awkwardly. "Okay… well… that's good of you…"

She smiled, trying to relieve the tension in the situation. "Well, I'd best be off. See you!"

"Bye, Miss Adelaide!"

As she walked away, Benny realised something. He had just heard someone say that it would be okay if he and Nicely were dating. Which they were… He had the sudden urge to tell her the truth. She accepted it, and surely Nicely wouldn't mind…

"Wait! Adelaide!" he called, running after her. She turned back to face him.

"So, you said you'd be okay if Nicely and I were dating?"

"Yes…" she replied.

"Well, uh, in that case… we've been dating for ten months."

Adelaide smiled, her eyebrows rising? "Really? Benny, that's great!"

He grinned back, a wave of relief washing over him.

"So? What kind of relationship do you have?" she asked excitedly.

"Uh, I don't know… A good one, I'd say, we're very happy together…"

"Do you kiss a lot?"

"Yes."

She squealed. "That's so cute! Who's the man in the couple?"

"Me, definitely," he said proudly.

"I thought so. Well, what's it like to date another guy?"

She interrogated him about his relationship with Nicely for a full ten minutes, after which Benny was able to leave by stating that he needed to get home to his boyfriend, an excuse totally acceptable to Adelaide. They parted ways, and, soon enough, he was home.

Nicely Johnson pounced on Benny upon his arrival, as per usual, barely waiting until the door was closed to give Southstreet a short kiss. He smiled at the taller man, looking up at him lovingly.

"You're late," Nicely pointed out, no anger in his tone.

"Sorry, Princess. I met up with Adelaide, and we had a lot to talk about," he apologized, bending down to take off his shoes. As he straightened, Nicely took off the other man's hat, before draping his arms around Benny's neck.

"S'okay. No need for an explanation," Johnson muttered softly, pressing his lips to Benny's in another, longer kiss.

When they separated, Nicely led Benny up the stairs. They settled on the couch in the living room, Benny's arm wrapped around Nicely's shoulders, Nicely's head resting against Benny's chin. They were silent for a moment, before Johnson spoke.

"You said that you and Adelaide had a lot to talk about. What were you discussin'?" he asked.

The taller gambler swallowed. "Uh…" he decided that he should tell Nicely about it. "Well… I… Adelaide knows."

The younger man raised his head, meeting Benny's eyes. "Knows what?"

"Um… About… us."

Nicely pulled away, a mix of shock and anger on his face. "What?"

"She was asking about why I hadn't been dating for a while, and then –"

"—And then you told her, didn't you? I trusted you to keep a secret, Benny Southstreet, one secret! And what d'you do? You just go tellin' the first person who asks –"

"—No, sweetheart, that ain't what happened! Please, just listen –"

"—Now what are we supposed to do? Adelaide probably thinks we's crazy, and she'll tell everyone, of course! And soon enough, the whole world'll know—"

"Nicely! Listen to me!" Benny nearly shouted, grabbing the other man by the shoulders. Nicely narrowed his eyes, but clenched his jaw, remaining silent.

"Thank you," Benny said in a calm tone, releasing Johnson's shoulders, "Now, here's what really happened. Adelaide asks why I hadn't been dating for so long, and I tells her that I'd given up on dolls. And then she says that I shouldn't give up, and that one day we'll both find love, you and I… And then she says that Nathan told her about that one night at the warehouse. I tells her we was drunk, but then she says that even though most people find it weird if a girl dates a girl or a guy dates a guy and such, she thinks it's okay. I ask her if she's suggesting that we love each other, and she says no, but she would be okay with it if we were. And then I decides I can tell her."

Nicely nodded. "Oh… okay…"

"So you ain't mad no more?"

Johnson shook his head. "No, I ain't. I suppose I should've listened to your side first, I'm sorry."

Benny smiled. "No need to apologize."

Nicely smiled back, and hugged Benny.

"I'm sorry for scarin' you like that," added Southstreet, returning the hug.

"It's alright."

Benny pulled back, before giving his boyfriend a kiss on the forehead.

"So, Adelaide is really that open about us bein' together?" Nicely said.

"Yes. She seems real happy for us."

"You think everyone else will be that way?"

"I don't know. Maybe we should still keep it a secret, just in case."

Nicely nodded in agreement. "Yeah, okay. But we should tell some other people someday."

Benny grinned. "Definitely."

There was a brief silence, before Benny spoke again.

"Y'know, when I was tellin' Adelaide that we'd both given up on dolls, she said 'I'm sure you'll both find love someday'."

"Mm-hm?"

"And the funny thing is, 'someday' is already here. We've both already found true love."

"Yes, and…?"

Benny grinned widely. "Maybe another 'someday' is already here."

Nicely gaped. "Surely you don't mean…" He was silent for a moment, but then he smiled back, and added, "Tomorrow, we're telling Nathan."

Southstreet touched his forehead to his lover's. "Deal."
