Okay OKAY, this is super heckin' late but I haven't written anything in ages so I'm kinda rusty and this is short and kinda rushed, I'mSOSORRY.

But hey it's an update. Enjoy and maybe I can manage to pump out another soon.

Harvey hadn't been back to see Finn in a few days since the incident. He refused to wear the fancy clothes Finn bought him, and he was currently job hunting. Though the job Finn gave him was by far the best job he'd ever have, or could ever hope for these days. He considered going back to see if he'd been replaced yet, but he didn't. He had no idea why he was so set on staying away. Men don't kiss men, it wasn't something that was done!

He had a family to feed though, and so far no one had managed to get a job. And that's why early Monday morning he found himself back in front of that Casino. Luckily he didn't have to bribe the bouncer to let him in again, they just le him pass without a fuss, and he managed to avoid Leenan on the floor and get back past the 'employee's only' area and to the kitchen.

He probably wasn't supposed to be here, but Finn wasn't out on the floor like he usually was, and now that he was back here, avoiding employee's would be far too easy. He should suggest they get someone back here to watch this door at a later date. Harvey went up the stairs and straight to Finn's room, he almost decided to just open the door, but instead he knocked, and heard Finn answer. He opened the door and looked at Finn, he knew what he wanted to say about three minutes ago and now he was drawing a blank, shit.

"I want to keep working for you." Good enough. Not as ranty and upset as he meant to be, but good enough. Finn looked surprised to see him, the blonde was quiet for a minute before he agreed to let Harvey keep working for him. That was a load off. Harvey smiled and he could have sworn Finn turned pink, it was hard to tell though, since Finn promptly turned away from him.

The incident had been completely brushed away, just like that. Neither of them mentioned it, and Harvey ignore the looks Leenan gave him, and ignored Finn's stares while he made the blonde breakfast. Finn just tried to act normal. It was all very covered up, though the attraction on Finn's end was obviously there.

Sooner or later, Harvey knew it would pile on so much that he wouldn't be able to just brush it off or ignore it. Who knew what would happen then.

He predicted it would start to fall apart properly in about a year, give or take.

..Then Christmas came around.

The whole Casino was decked out in holiday stuff, and people were gambling away like no tomorrow. You'd think with the lack of jobs people would get smart and stop gambling away everything they owned. Apparently not. Harvey easily went through the floor and to the back, avoiding Leenan since he knew she'd have a strange look on her face as soon as she knew he was here. He went to the kitchen and saw Finn sitting there, wearing a sweater and sipping a hot drink.

"Mornin'." Harvey began to look for something warm to make the blonde boy to eat, Finn didn't eat until Harvey cooked it.

"Hey. So the Casino is going to be closed on Christmas, mom is going out to the next city to see her sugar daddy."

Harvey raised an eyebrow, "That's still a thing?"

"What, sugar daddies?"

"Yeah."

"Yeah, it is. This one is new, I haven't met him yet but he sent me a present. He's trying to butter me up so I'll convince mom to marry him. There's no way that's happening, mom doesn't marry. She's had like forty sugar daddies since she started with the Casino, and I'm the product of one of them."

"Well I suppose her boyfriend is plum outta luck then."

"He's an idiot. Or so mom tells me."

"If he's such an idiot, then why is she with him."

"He's got money."

"...oh."

"So as I was saying before, she's leaving me here alone for Christmas, since I refused to meet the guy who will be gone in the next week. If you're not busy, I'd appreciate it if you could spend Christmas with me."

Harvey had to think. He should have said no. He really should have. But he didn't. "Sure, I guess." He'd regret that later.
