Part 3 - Kimball Cho
The noise was constant.
No matter how hard he tried, his ears wouldn't stop ringing with the shouts of his comrades, the sounds of bombs detonating.
Shouts from outside had him waking up fully, pulling on boots and racing to the doorway of the tent.
He grabbed a rifle when shots started.
Outside, there were soldiers from both camps everywhere. One enemy soldier had his gun pointed at Cho's unarmed best friend.
Cho met the enemy's eye.
A gunshot rang out.
His best friend crumpled to the ground.
In that moment, he vowed to never let his emotions show again.
