I don't own PJO

It couldn't be a trick, could it? Thalia said they would meet the titan under a truce, but still, which titan? I certainly didn't trust any that were on the other side.

I experimentally lifted my arm. Needles seemed to jab into my wound, but it was definitely less painful than before. Soon. I could get up soon.

I looked over the withered railing, and in to the horizon, where the sun was just coming up, creating a canvas blended with sapphire, and violet colored paint.

I sighed; the only noise I could hear was loud booms from various places, sprinkled across Manhattan. There was the lust of battle in the air, where nobody was at peace. Why did everything feel so wrong?

I couldn't tell if we were winning, or losing, but I knew for a fact that we had lost many demigods already, due to those necklaces on the Minotaur's sword. Was there someone we lost that that was close to me? I had already lost Luke, and I just couldn't bear the feeling that something worse was going to happen. Something unexpected.

I hated feeling so useless, lying here, doing absolutely nothing. I was being worthless, while my friends were fighting. I mean, talking under 'truce' with a titan.

I couldn't take this anymore. I sat up, yellow specks dancing before my eyes, ears ringing, blocking out any other sound from entrance. I lifted my arm, and suddenly, everything went black.

I faded to another world.

Thalia and Percy were chatting away in the plaza. Was this happening right now?

" Percy," Thalia said, a slight ring of worry to her voice," you can't start feeling sorry for Luke. We all have tough things to deal with. All demigods do. Our parents are hardly ever around. But Luke made some bad choices. Nobody forced him to do that. In fact-"

She glanced down the hall, obviously checking if anyone could hear her. What would she tell him?" I'm worried about Annabeth." My blood turned to ice. She was talking about me, behind my back? Well, it was about that she was worried about me though. Maybe it was my wounds or something.

But, she managed to surprise me," If she has to face Luke in battle, I don't know if she can do it. She's always had a soft spot for him."

I mentally sighed. She had the same doubts I had about myself. I watched Percy carefully; I wanted to see his reaction. He looked at the ground, as if he'd already thought this over, quite a bit. Then, his face turned a shade of pink, and his eyebrows scrunched up, the way he always looks when someone talks about Luke. At least, my feelings for him. I never had quite figured that reaction out, but oh well, what could I do?

" She'll do fine." He stammered. Thanks for trying to defend me Seaweed Brain, but Thalia's right this time.

I was interested to see more, but my dream shifted.

There was a giant, the largest of them all, everything constantly shifting, and I could barely keep my eyes on one spot. Typhon.

Shifting around him, in a whirlwind pattern, were small shapes, with light booming every once and a while. The Gods.

I was looking for my Mother, when suddenly, a purple small shape was swatted by Thyphon, and crashed in to the ground, with a boom, causing a crater to form around him, and bury him in. It was Dionysus. Had this already happened? Was this happening now? Possibly in the future?

My view zoomed in, to two Gods, momentarily having a very important conversation.

One was wearing a pinstriped suit underneath armor, for some odd reason, and had a scraggly grey beard. Zeus.

The other wore full battle armor, a huge owl printed on the front. She had honey blond curly hair, and firm grey eyes. My mother, Athena.

" But it is only wise too!" She was complaining to Zeus," it is the only way!"

" No, you must stay and fight. I will not have you leave my side, while were battling Typhon."

Athena looked around, desperate, probably thinking up a way. It was only now that she noticed Dionysus, or rather, she smoking crater, where he lye beneath." We've lost one already, and others will go! I need to warn them! Her, most importantly! She must know!" Could she be talking about me? I brushed the thought aside.

Zeus looked pitifully at the ground," I'm deeply sorry Athena. I would let you go if at least one of my brothers were here, but Poseidon has his own war to fight, and Hades does nothing! You are my number one strategist, and we need you here! I'm sure she'll figure it out."

" But, by then it will have been too late!" Athena demanded," If I don't tell her, it could affect his decision! And, if he chooses wrong, we will all go down!"

With that, my dream dissolved.

" Huh," I huffed out airily, as I let m eyes adjust to the light. It was still before morning.

I found a new towel lying on my forehead. I pulled it off, and sat up, once again. It has to work this time. I stood up, and immediately felt groggy, and my vision blurred. I almost fell over twice, but kept my stance.

After a minute or two, my body got used to me standing up, and my vision cleared, as I sighed, finally.

I walked toward inside, where all I could see was Thalia, walking out from a smaller hallway, looking pleased.

I walked inside when, BUMP. And then the sound of smearing against glass took place. Seriously, Annabeth? You walked right in to the glass door?

Thalia must have heard me, because her eyes widened in surprise, and she sprinted over, and slid the door aside.

" Whoa there, Annabeth. I don't think your quite ready to get up yet. And are you ok?" I tried to ignore the pounding in my head, and the dream I had about her and Percy.

" I'm fine, " I told her, sounding as normal as possible." And I'm totally ready to get up. Oh, and how did the meeting go, is everyone alright?"

" Yah," she told me, grabbing my wrist, and pulling me to a standing position." It went fine. They wanted us to surrender. As if." She spat out.

I went rigid a second and then asked," Where's Percy?"

" Oh, he just went to take a nap a little while ago. He's in one of the first rooms near the plaza."

" Thanks, and can you help me get down there."

" Are you sure your ready? You look kind of pale."

" I'm fine," I assured her.

" If you say so." She gripped my uninjured arm, as she walked me over to the elevator.

" I've got to do something up here, I'll be down in one sec," She told me.

" Alright," and I watched as the elevator doors closed. I pressed the button for the first floor, and got that dropping sensation I always get in elevators. My stomach moaned.

I looked in my shield that I had picked up. I could feel my eyes widen as I saw the size of the army approaching. Why was this nearly impossible? Why?

Finally, when the doors opened, I sprinted down a narrow hallway, right next to the plaza.

I entered the first room, and the door creaked as it opened." Hello, Percy?"

I gently lifted the covers to find an Aphrodite boy, only in his boxers (which were covered in Care bears.)

He screamed," Oh, um, oops, sorry." I quickly rushed out of the room, and slammed the door behind me.

I entered the next room." Percy, your in this room. I hope." I called out. The door was wide open.

Luckily, when I walked over to the bed, Percy was laying there. His black bangs covered his eyes completely. His lips were slightly parted, with a bit of drool coming out one side. I smirked. Cute.

" No, no, no, no." he muttered in his sleep. I was about to tap him lightly on the shoulder, when he sat up, and BANG! He hit his head on my shield.

" Ow." He said, but I realized it was probably just an instinct; he couldn't get hurt with the Achilles curse. At least not there.

" Sorry Percy," I muttered," I was just about to wake you."

He rubbed his head, like something was really bothering him. He shook his head a bit, and I don't think he realized he was doing it.

" Percy? What's wrong?"

" Nothing," I could tell he was lying, but since he had given away his Achilles spot to me, I figured it would be rude to pester him for more secrets," What . . . what are you doing in armor? You should be resting."

" Oh I'm fine," I lied. Didn't need to put more pressure on him," That nectar and ambrosia fixed me up."

" Uh-huh." He nodded his head sarcastically," You can't seriously go out and fight."

I offered him my good hand, and he took it, and stood up. " You're going to need every person you have. I just looked in my shield. There's an army-"

" Heading south in to Central Park." He said, and I felt my eyebrows rise. How did he know that?" Yeah. I know."

He explained that he had seen it in his dream. He also explained to me this meeting that Kronos and Ethan had. Maybe Ethan knew where Percy's Achilles spot was! What?! This could not happen. If he figured it out, it would be the end of Percy Jackson. The end of the world!

But, there was something else bothering me. It seemed like Percy was hiding something. Well, if he wanted to keep it secret, I guess I shouldn't ask him about it, like I said before.

" Do you think Ethan suspects about your weak spot?" I asked.

" I don't know," he admitted," He didn't tell Kronos anything, but if he figures it out-"

I cut in sounding a lot less worried than I was," We can't let him."

" I'll bonk him on the head harder next time," Percy gave me a smile, then it faded." Any idea what surprise Kronos was talking about?"

I shook my head." I didn't see anything in the shield, but I don't like surprises."

" Agreed."

" So, are you going to argue about me coming along?

I waited," Nah, you'd just beat me up"

I laughed. Wow, Seaweed brain, way to show your confidence. I also thought, not likely. But I liked that he was thinking that way.

We walked out to the front of the building, and met up with the previously fighting demigods. Percy told us all what to do, and when we heard the army, which sounded like a herd of elephants, but magnified about a million times louder, I yelled," Positions!"

Everyone scrambled to where they were supposed to be. And then, the fighting began.

I spotted a titan, and pointed t the reservoir in front of us. He was in gold armor, and sadly was walking straight over the top of the lake.

" Percy!" I grabbed his arm, and punted it out. I figured if the titan had waterpowers, Percy would be the best to defeat it.

A bomb flashed over him, but he just sucked the fire out of the air. When he came closer, I finally recognized him." Hyperion." I told Percy," The lord of light. Titan of the east."

" Bad?" Percy guessed. Kelp Head.

" Next to Atlas, he's the greatest Titan warrior. In the old day, four Titans controlled the four corners of the world. Hyperion was the east- the most powerful. He was the father of Helios, the first son god." I explained, franticly.

" I'll keep him busy." Percy promised.

" Percy." I tightened my grip on his arm," Even you can't-"

" Just keep our forces together."

And before I could protest more, he shook my arm off, and ran across the top of the water, towards Hyperion. Great. Just Great. Now Seaweed Brain was fighting the Lord of Light. Real smart. But, I realized it was the only way.

I turned to my cabin." Ok, guys, we can do this. Remember tactic 321!" They knew what I was talking about, due to sword classes at camp.

" Ok!" They yelled back, and a group of the sea demons I had met last summer bounded into our flanks.

" Attack!" And we did. I was super pissed at these guys for almost taking Percy's life last summer. I swung at them fiercely, trying my best to take two at a time.

I glanced at Percy. He was crossing swords with Hyperion, and actually seemed to be doing pretty good.

That was until I heard a huge CRASH, only a few feet away from me. It sounded like a giant metal bowling ball had dropped from 300ft up in the sky, but when I looked, I noticed a startled Percy. Ouch.

He stood up, and Hyperion charged. The monsters around me momentarily stopped, as well as me, to watch.

Hyperion kept making flames around Percy, who kept dousing it with water. I watched, mouth open as Percy made a personal hurricane around himself, and slowly went up into the air.

" Stop it!" Hyperion yelled," Stop that wind!"

Percy looked confused, like he didn't even realize what he was creating.

" Percy!" Grover called somewhere far to my right," How are you doing that?"

Percy glanced around him, as if he finally realized what he was doing. Wow. He. Was. Freaking. Amazing. I could feel the wind from here.

Percy mumbled something, and the hurricane got more powerful, if that was even possible. Lightning flickered around him? How was that possible? Rain was pouring in large sheets.

" Percy. Bring him over here! " Grover called.

Percy propelled Hyperion across the field with the hurricane. " I will not be toyed with." He yelled.

Then, Grover and Leneus, along with other satyrs began to play a tune on their reed pipes. I winced remembering how awful a Grover had been at playing them on our first quest. He had really improved.

Roots started to grow around the titan, wrapping around his legs. Hyperion kept screaming. Until the roots closed around his face. I smiled.

Some of the satyrs passed out, but that could be dealed with later. Suddenly, " REEEEET!"

Uh-oh. Kronos had unleashed his surprise.

AN: What were your thoughts on that chapter? I know, not the best one really. I was kind of rushed. And I apologize for grammar mistakes, I'm not the best at that.
