The Boy On The Bus (Haruna)

Every morning I take the train to go to my high school. I hate waking up in the morning. My mom always nags me to get up, and I look bad every morning. Lately I found a reason to try harder to be more appealing. There is this boy on the bus. When I first saw him he was all the way in the front left of the train sitting on the side seats where the back faces the wall so I can get a clear view of him. He never notices me before since he always slept on the whole train ride. These past few days I realize he didn't slept like before. He stares back at me! When I see his gaze I look down immediately. He looks like an actor or a young singer. He is so attractive, but I am too shy to wave or say anything. I wonder what he thinks of me. I get off at the same stop as he does, but I try not to be creepy and follow him, so I just head to class.

I sat down in class dazed as always. I thought about that cute guy on my train. I know he is in my school. He has the boy's uniform. I just needed to know his name, but I failed with boys. I let out a big sigh as I saw Asami approaching me.

"Aw Haruna, why the long face?" Asami gave me a small smirk already knowing why I was so upset.

"You know why. That guy on the bus. I see him on the train, but I don't know how to approach him."

"Aw maybe you should just go up and say hi" she said with a giggle.

"It isn't easy for me. I am not pretty like you. Why don't you ever go on the bus?" I thought for a big and waited for her answer.

"My dad drives me to school." Her face lit up.

"Lucky you, my mom won't drive me. She says too much gas money" I sighed.

"It's ok now since you see that cute boy right?"

"Yes!" I became happy again. Asami always knew what to say to bring a smile to my face. I cherish her as a best friend.

At the end of school, I see that boy on the train again. He always sits on the left side every morning and afternoon. I thought of switching up my seating so I can be closer. I will star my mission tomorrow!
