I just got back behind the keyboard time to type!
Sirens wailing in the distance, voices talking over her..."A Romanian female and what sounds like an american male with terrible pronouciation" Roxanne thought.
The feeling of being lifted up on to something a lot softer, pain seering through her throat as something warm and wet was dabbed over it.
She couldn't open her eyes for she was exhausted, drained, in pain and very afraid.
The feeling of something warm being wrapped around her neck and then the sound of quariling. The last she heard was the sound of a car scooting away and then all was blank.
Megamind sat next to the woman identified as Roxanne Ritchie and was found to be a juniour reporter. She was beautiful according to Megamind, such fine features. The soft cinamon coloured hair that was cut to compliment her heart shaped face. Her blood red lips and the blush in her cheeks that had returned, all there was left to do was hope she awoke.
She had lost a lot of blood and Aleera had done a blood transfusion and saved Ms. Rotchie's life. Megamind alomst rembered her, just he couldn't say wheer even though it was on the tip of his tongue.
"Sorry, Mr. Megamind, theres somebody here looking for you." Said a nurse holding Minion's fish bowl.
"Sir! I was so worried! When Ali answered the phone and said you were in the hospital I thought you were hurt!" The fish said in one breath.
"Oh you Fantastic Fish You, you know if I was hurt I'd contact you." Megaind smiled at his overprotective friend. Megamind had a few times gotten so beaten up by Wayne Scott (Metro Man) that he had ended up in surgeory rooms at the most unexpected times and he knew how scared Minion was that if a doctor got carried away and tried some experiments.
"Why are you here then?" Minion asked puzzled as the nurse set him down on a side table.
"Well you see I was shopping and calmly going back to my room and there was a woman on my bed and she was just covered in blood and you know I can't stand the sight and it was just- aagh- awful Minion" Megamind said staring at her lying in the bed.
"Is that her, Sir" Minion asked certainly.
"Yes" He whispered, "She's just marvelous." He said to himself watching the rhythmetic breathing of her chest and how even those slight movents of hers interested him like a child watching their favourite movie on their own.
"Uh, are you alright, Sir?" Minion asked notifying the change in his master's voice.
"Yes, better than ever Minion" Megamind said unaware of what a teenager he sounded like.
"Here you guy are!" Ali said walking in, "I've been worried sick! So anyvays how's she doing?"
"She's doing fine accept I wonder what happened to her?" Megamind said staring at Ali, "You looked pretty shocked when you saw her...are you hiding anything?"
"Me?" Ali laughed nervously, "Of course not, let's get going the police are coming and you know they like to blame you." She said as she walked off.
Megamind gave one last glance at Roxanne and stroked her arm where a drip connected to vains in the middle of her arm.
"Are you coming Sir?" Minion asked staring up at his boss from where he was placed.
"Wha-Oh yes yes, coming Minion." He answered as he lifted the henchfished and walked out the hospital room.
"This is Channel 8 News reporting live from a hopsital in Transylvania, Romania where our newest member and youngest reporter explains how she was harrassed and attacked while trying to retrieve footage of why the Bran Castle is'nt open to public anymore."
The screen changed from a news cast in America to a Romanian newsreader explaining what had just been said and then the screen changed to a hospital room and in one of the beds was Roxanne Ritchi sitting up holding a mic and talking seriously.
"I have no idea who that woman was but she attacked me and I think somebody in that house, castle has some sence to keep her from terrorizing and harming the public."
Ali turned the flat screen off.
"So...they think the castle is only closed because of one?" Asked the deep voice she knew all too well.
"Yes, Father, I needed to ask you something...what are we todo with zhat blue alien?" She stamered, he may have been related to her but she feared him.
"He vants to be a villian, correct?" He asked plainly.
"Y-yes, Father."
"Very vell, I vill teach him how to be one, I was very successful in my time, von't you agree?" He stared at her, red eyes glaring.
"Yes Father, I'll arrange for you to meet him tomorrow evening. If zhat's alright with you?" She said quietly.
"Good good Aleera, now leave me. I have important business." The deep voice ordered before shutting his office door.
"I won't let you down this time Father." Ali thought to herself and walked down the long passage way.
Roxanne signed off with a grave look on her face and instantly sank back into the pillows.
"Oh why do I have to feel so dizzy and drained?" Roxanne asked through weak breaths.
"Ms. Ritchi, it's because you just recieved a large amount of blood after loosing a lot so you will feel better tomorrow." The nurse said pouring her a glass of water form the nearby side table.
"Nurse...could you tell me who brought me to the hospital?" Roxanne asked as she took the glass of water.
"Well he goes by the name of Megamind, you know that blue alien with the pet fish? Him and he had a girl with him and she was the one who gave you blood." The nurse explained.
"Megamind huh? If he's planning on being a villian he's doing a great job scaring the public but I don't think he's the...murder type and why would he bring me here? How did he find me? What was he doing there?" Roxanne popped questions faster than the nurse could attempt to answer.
"You certainly know your job Ms. Ritchi" the nurse chuckled. "You will find out surely sooner than most reporters I've seen on t.v." and with that Roxanne was left alone in the room.
Megamind pressed 'pause' on the remote to the small flat screen tv. against the wall. He paused it at a particular image, an image that made his heart beat race and his mind blurr, it was something he's never felt before.
The image that it paused on was a small smile Roxanne Ritchi made when she said good evening on her report. Megamind stared at her, her beauty was still unbeliveable to him, just something about her since he saw her that afternoon made him think about her all the time.
"Oh Ms. Ritchi you're bound to be Wayne's girl...not mine." He whispered to himself.
"Sorry to disturb but...somebody wants to met you." Ali said from behind.
Megamind jumped at her voice and scrambled to turn the televison off. "Wha-oh what was that?" He said nervously hoping she had'nt heard what he said.
"I know somebody and he saw you and he vants to speak with you tomorrow evening at sundown. Is that alright with you?" She said lookin down.
"As long as this "him" is'nt some wacky scientist or evolution drone that wishes to experiment with me I'll see him." He said smiling
"Oh no no no he wishes to help you." She smiled at his answer, "Vell, I'll leave you to your own wishes." as she walked out.
Megmind flipped his tv. on again and resumed staring at the girl who made his heart beat stop and knees grow weak.
He was definately smitten with love.
